Naruto

- Boy was Naruto dragging his feet toward their front door.

- He really didn't want to leave her, especially if it's a mission that would drag on too long

- Would usually ask Hinata of the things he might have "forgotten/misplaced", which he would be needing in the mission, just for him to stay a bit longer.

- Would play it like he didn't notice that it's already inside his bag Hinata knew what he's up to, but she would just let on.

- Internally, she was giggling.

- "I will miss you, Hinata." He said in a sing-song tone like he's her big baby as he nuzzled the side of her neck and encircled her in his arms Hinata, would probably blush at this during their first moments as a couple, but as time went by she found this part of Naruto-kun very endearing though she already got used to it

- She would usually respond with a hug and a promise to cook him delicious meals upon his return since Hinata's cooking was his new fave

- He would still not let her go and would tighten his hug more even

- "You'll be late, Naruto-kun"

- "What's new, Hinata. Let me stay a bit longer here or let me just bring you with me dattebayo!" He protested.

- After a few ramblings, he finally accepted that he must let go.

- He would scoop Hinata in his arms again and give her a deep kiss that would make her regret letting him out of the house, because he'd cut her short and wanting for more (uh, huh)

- "Hinata!" He would call out while waving his hand as he was halfway away from his home

- He would glance back at her as he moved forward until the sight of his home was too far for him to see.

- On his face was a smile in anticipation of coming back home when hadn't even started yet

Hinata

- Hinata's parting words were usually composed of several reminders like eat at a proper time, don't give Shikamaru further headaches and Naruto would follow her around and would affirm to follow her reminder, while ranting about why Kakashi-sensei didn't allow him to be in this mission with her

- He would also bombard her with things that she must keep in mind during the missions.

- Telling her to be careful, not look at other guys and always think of him

- "I will always think of you, Naruto-kun." She said as she gave him a quick kiss on the lips.

- It wasn't enough for him tho

- He will also reassure her of the things he'll do when she's away like: "I'll make sure to tune in to that TV Series that we watch together so I can tell you what happened.~"

- He would give her a back hug after she wore her shoes knowing that she's near from leaving home.

- "Can you not leave? Can you just bring me with you?"

- She would assure him that she made few things in the house that would remind him of her. "I will make sure to be safe and finish the mission early."

- Still hugging her, he whispered in her ear, "Let's eat out when you come back home. I'll welcome you at the gates."

- That would be followed by a kiss that would make her not forget about him Hinata would always feel like not going to the mission because of this.

- Although she's always been a diligent kunoichi, Naruto was that force that's making her want to break the rules somehow

- With that, she had to leave the house half-hearted.

- Guess, Naruto won this round.

- However, she'll make sure to retaliate once she gets home- excited to get back already when she hadn't crossed the gates yet
