Detroit Become Human: A New Life

After finishing my first playthrough of Detroit Become Human, I became inspired with a series of oneshots, this is the first of them, just a small one to start with, focused on Kara, Alice and Luther.

It was funny how far away the terrifying ordeal they had endured seemed now. Stepping out of the bus, close to the address Rose had given them, Kara smiled, relieved.

"We're here, we're really here." She whispered with a smile.

She smiled down at Alice who stepped up next to her, taking her hand, a smile Alice returned.

"We're safe now, right Kara?" Alice queried.

Kara nodded happily. "Yes, we are, let's...let's go, we've got someone we need to meet."

Alice smiled wider at that and also nodded while Luther stepped up next to them too, also smiling.

"We better hurry." He said at last. "Rose's brother is most likely expecting us and...we won't be going to see him alone."

Kara smiled again at that, knowing Luther was right, she looked over her shoulder and spotted Rose and Adam as they also got off the bus, the two women shared a small smile and soon the two humans joined the three Androids.

"We should get going, my brother will be waiting after all." Rose remarked.

Kara nodded and tightened her grip on Alice's hand. "You're right, let's go."

Alice by her side, Kara began to walk with Luther by her side, Rose and Adam walking with them. It had been a long and terrifying journey, but finally, at last they were looking to the future, they were safe and ready to begin their new lives, together.
