IS is the new one now? Sorry i uploaded the wrong one... I don't check...

"Holy crap..." Tetsutetsu muttered.

Monoma just stared slack jawed at the former vigilante, as he stared back at everyone, stunned.

Bakugou grumbled, "Hisashi fucked you up bad, huh?"

Midoriya was shaking, as he kept a firm hold of the unconscious child in his arms.

"You ... have a lot more scars than I thought..." Iida gaped.

He was scared.

Would they call him a freak too? Call him a monster? Would they push him away again?

"What's going on over there!?" Uraraka called out, over the wall, "Did something happen!?"

"Nope! Mineta's being an ass again, don't worry!" Shinsou called over.

"No no no no... This wasn't supposed to happen..." Midoriya muttered, as he desperately tried to back away from his classmates, before running back into the changing room, fear written on his face.

"Wait! Izuku!" Kirishima yelped, jumping out of the water, but Midoriya was already gone.

Shinsou snatched the towel up and stormed out of the water, "I'll get him."

He raced after Midoriya, and the the remaining boys just stared at the door.

"Did something happen to Izuku?" Yaoyorozu asked, "Is he okay?"

"Uh... Shinsou's dealing with it!" Ojiro yelled back.

"He was... scared.. of us?" Kaminari whispered, as he climbed out of the water, not wanting to shock his friend by accident if he accidentally released some electricity.

"Man, he's super manly." Tetsutetsu muttered.

"But... so many scars..." Mineta gulped, "How did he even get so many!? There's no way his dad did all of that!"

Bakugou was shaking with rage, "Why!? Why him!?" Explosions flared out from his palms as he roared out in frustration. "Deku isn't like this! He used to be so confident in himself! He's strong, he can beat villains and shit! Why is everyone trying to bring him down!?"

"Because he's quirkless." Monoma muttered, as silence fell over the students.

"I'm not discriminating against him." He continued, "I know how it feels like to be discriminated for my quirk. There's no doubt that Izuku had it worse since he's quirkless, and from a much younger age as well. It's human nature to be afraid of the unknown. I'm not saying that the entire world is right about Izuku, but now, they want to know that if Izuku gets out of hand, which I know he won't, the heroes will be able to do something about him."

"So!?" Bakugou snapped. "What does that have to do with anything?!"

"Everything!" Monoma shot back, "He's beaten a guy who had taken down heroes, without using a quirk! Society practically revolves around the usage of quirks, and here's this teenager who's on par with trained adults, even without a superpower. People are scared of him precisely because he's an anomaly. And Izuku doesn't like it. He just wants to be a normal kid and fit in. You guys have pretty flashy quirks. People like Shinsou and I, we've been discriminated for our quirks. You guys don't know how bad people can get when it comes things out of the ordinary, and will get horribly defensive in order to put the blame on someone else when they are unhappy. Prejudices will turn to anger, fear and hatred to justify that their worldviews aren't wrong."

Bakugou just stared at Monoma.

Actually, a lot of the boys were staring at Monoma. Monoma was one of the few who had actually been bullied and teased for his quirk when he was younger, while everyone else had their quirks praised and held on a high pedestal by their teachers, peers, and parents.

They would never truly understand what it felt like.

Monoma stood up, and got out of the water.

"I'm leaving first."

Shinsou found Midoriya hiding in one of the stalls, shaking as he tried to pull his shirt over his body while still holding onto Kota.

"This wasn't supposed to happen... no no no... this can't..."

"Hey, Izu." Shinsou called out gently, not wanting to startle the smaller boy who was clearly filled with paranoia. Midoriya jumped, and looked up at him, before he registered who it was and relaxed.

Shinsou carefully pulled Midoriya's shirt down for him, and Midoriya just clutched Kota closer as Shinsou wore his own shirt.

"Come on, let's go see Mandalay about this kid."

It didn't take them long to find Sosaki's office, and after explaining everything that had happened, Sosaki let Midoriya rest in her office while she explained Kota's situation to them.

"They can't do that!" Midoriya yelped, "He's just a kid! You can't have people telling him to be proud of his parents when he's three!"

"That's what I tried to say..." Sosaki nodded, as she sighed, "But other people think that heroes are some kind of special, gifted enigmas. To Kota, he just lost his parents, but no one saw that. They're blind. Kota started hating heroes and villains because all this violence cause him to lose the few things he cared about. I can't blame him... but as you can see..."

"Yeah..." Midoriya sat right next to Shinsou, holding a cup of tea, letting it warm his shivering fingers, "Must have been hard on him."

"So... Midoriya, are you really Uzuki?" Sosaki asked.

Midoriya took a sip of tea, "Yeah. And please call me Izuku. I don't like my last name... especially not after what he did..."

Sosaki nodded, "Understandable. But didn't you have that explosion accident all those years ago?"

Shinsou snorted, "This idiot's been living in a dump."

"I'm not an idiot, Toshi, you're the idiot."

"You're a self sacrificial idiot, you idiot."

Sosaki just chuckled at the two childish teens arguing in front of her.

"So, just to make sure we're clear." Iida ordered, "No talking about Izuku's past, his family, his scars, Stain, or the Sports Festival, or his last name. No talking about him being quirkless, no talk about injuries, no talk about the USJ, the League of Villains, kidnappings, All Might, and fire and electricity. We do not want to make Izuku more uncomfortable and uneasy than he already is!"

"Fire and electricity, I can understand. Why All Might though?" Awase asked.

Kirishima shrugged, "Dunno. Izuku seems to either dislike him or is scared of him or something."

"Then, what do we talk about?"

Kaminari fished out a deck of cards from his bag, "Uno? Let's split into teams!"

They were in the middle of a game when Shinsou and Midoriya entered the room, all the students giving Midoriya an understanding look, acknowledging their presence, before going back to the game, not saying a word as the duo settled down beside Kaminari.

"What are you playing?"

"Uno! Wanna join?!" Kaminari leaned back and grinned, not noticing that he let his hands droop, revealing his cards to the other teams.

"Kaminari, you idiot!" Sero laughed, "We can see your cards!"

"Ahh! CRAP! SORRY!"

Midoriya just sighed in relief that no one was going to bring up his scars, and pointed out a card that Kaminari should use after they had reshuffled the cards and started a new game.
