Jocu smiled as he saw Biena sleeping in her room. As quiet as a mouse, he slipped a paper under her pillow.

"Sleep well Biena…this is for you," he whispered, now disappearing into thin air. Once Biena rose for a moment, feeling the movement, she felt the paper and opened it. The note read:

"As you walk and go through life

Be one tried and true

Be the one who is so kind

Yes, be the one true you.

Trials may come and trials may go

Struggles are sometimes near

But never cave in to horrid thoughts

Many hold you dear.

Do not give in to tears and pain

Even though life can get you down.

But know deep down who you really are

Smile, my friend, don't frown.

This poem is meant to shine a light

Yes, shine a light I say.

To show your kindness and who you are.

Bring your light into the day!

As you enter into a new year

Remember my small words

God will be by your side

He's your friend and your sword.

Be brave my friend

Yes, be brave.

Let your courage and kindness shine through.
