Diamond Gates, Crystal Arch
Is this the end of Heaven high?
Is this the will of fate?
Such questions fester in my mind,
As we pass by shattered gates.
…
We pass bodies of fallen angels,
Many demons they did slay.
The sky above is darkening,
On former land of always day.
…
Not long until the demons see us,
Not long till they attack.
But with fists, magic, and iron, steel,
We drive the monsters back.
…
We know our destination.
To the Crystal Arch we must go.
So we travel through the Silver City,
Slaying many foes.
…
All the while, the sky darkens.
We fear day will turn to night.
We hear Diablo's whispers, roars,
We sense his dark delight.
…
The constant bloodshed drains us.
The demons test our fortitude.
But our lives led to this moment.
And our spirits are renewed.
…
We near top of the spire.
To the Lord of Terror's goal.
We sense his power in the air,
Hear his whispers in our souls.
…
We've reached the peak of Heaven high,
And Diablo must be felled.
For if we fail in this task,
All worlds will fall to Hell.
