[ QUICK AN: technically in this episode Henry was still dating Bianca but in this version he isn't ]

"So...why'd you guys break up?" Jasper awkwardly asked, sitting in between the former "couple". Neither Henry or Charlotte flinched when he asked this, focusing their attention towards the television.

"He killed my goldfish," Charlotte said.

"She has mouth sores" Henry added. Their tones were completely monotonous and showed no signs of emotion.

"Well, even though you guys broke up, can't I just see you guys kiss once?" Jasper pleaded for the millionth time.

"No!" Charlotte sighed exasperatedly from the constant request.

"Actually Char..." Henry started to trail off while arching his body to look at her. Charlotte made eye contact with him and she looked as though her eyes were going to pop out of her head.

"You can't be serious" she replied asher heart rate quickened.

"You know he's never gonna stop asking us about unless we give in," Henry said.

"It's true" Jasper stated confidently.

"I know but-" Charlotte started.

"Just one kiss. It doesn't even have to be a long one!" Jasper tried to persuade her. Charlotte looked skeptically between the two boys and eventually let out a sigh of defeat.

"Okay, weirdo," she said mostly directed towards Jasper. The boy clapped his hands in response and jumped up from his spot on the couch. He moved towards the right so that he was standing diagonal from the two friends. Charlotte and Henry stared at each other for a moment before awkwardly sliding closer to each other. Henry glanced over at Jasper to see him standing there with a grin so wide it threatened to split his face in half. He then turned his attention again towards Charlotte and lifted his eyebrows, silently asking if she was ready. Instead of responding Charlotte leaned in and quickly closed the gap between them. Before Henry could even register what was happening Charlotte pulled away with a slightly stunned look on her face. They stared at each other until the sound of Jasper's voice broke them out of their trance.

"Woah"

"You, um...you happy now?" Henry asked, blushing while struggling to get out the sentence.

"Very" Jasper replied. Charlotte just narrowed her eyebrows at her friend in annoyance.

"Anyways it's getting late, Char we should probably be going home now," Jasper said picking his backpack up from the ground.

"Yeah, you're probably right," she said as she began collecting her things as well.

"Okay, well see you guys tomorrow," Henry said, his eyes focused on Charlotte the entire time she was gathering her things.

"See ya, Hen," Jasper said making his way to the front door and exiting with Charlotte close behind him.

"Later, Hen," Charlotte said softly as she looked back at him before closing the door behind her. She began to climb down the Hart's front steps before stopping herself and turning to Jasper.

"Hey, I'll catch up with you in a sec, I think I left my phone in there," Charlotte said to him, getting a head nod in response. Charlotte took a deep breath before turning back around and opening the front door the household again. Upon opening the door she saw Henry's head pop up from where he was standing in the center of the living room and looking at her.

"Hey, you forget something?" Henry asked her.

"No. I was just wondering if you maybe wanted to um...go get ice cream or something this weekend?" Charlotte asked, nervously twisting her fingers in her hand. Henry's eyes slightly widened and a small blush crept up on to his face.

"You mean just the two of us?" Henry asked failing to hide his small smile.

"Yeah" she replied almost breathless.

"It's a date".
