Exo-Force: The Battle Continues

Prologue

Long ago, on the Sentai Mountain, humans and robots lived in peace and order. However, under mysterious circumstances, the robots malfunctioned and turned on the humans. Conflict broke down, causing strange powers to unleash and split the mountain in two. The humans, led by the Sensei Keiken, fought back and overcame the robots, and peace was restored. Bridges were built to reconnect the mountain, including the main Tenchi Bridge, while down deep in the gorge, the robots rebuilt and rose up to lead new attacks and even seize control over one half of the Sentai Mountain. More powerful than ever, their primary aim was simple and fully realised: to completely drive mankind from Sentai Mountain. The humans seemed almost overrun, but they managed to counteract and building their own strong defence, battle machines armed and equipped with powerful weaponry. These machines were operated by a team of young soldiers and pilots recruited by Sensei Keiken himself, which would eventually be known as the Exo-Force.

This culminated in the Battle of Sentai Fortress when Meca One unleashed an all-out assault on the humans. After a narrow victory, Keiken decided that Exo-Force was too vulnerable in the Sentai Fortress and that they needed an "edge" to defeat the robots. The Exo-Force team soon discovered the legendary yet long forgotten Golden City at the top of Sentai Mountain and mysterious secret codes therein which could be used to unlock powerful technology. Keiken's hope was that this technology would provide the crucial key to defeating the robots once and for all.

The robots began to conquer the northern side of the mountain and many Exo-Force pilots were held captive. Among the lot, Sensei Keiken was captured and taken hostage in the deep jungles at the base of Sentai Mountain. The remaining Exo-Force pilots must rescue their leader in this hostile jungle environment that may hold the secret to what gave the robots life and the will to destroy...

The rainforest at the rim of the Sentai Mountain seemed safe and tranquil under the veil of night, even with the melancholy chirp of crickets or the vague whispers of the cold wind. In the starry sky, a ball of fiery light appeared to be launching towards the Mountain.

The quietness would soon end as the meteorite grew louder and louder until, it's impact erupted into a crescendo as rocks and dust blew back in reaction. As the fire dusty clouds cleared, a huge crater came into view, and in the centre was a submerged canister, around at least 20 feet tall, glowing hot and with faint grinding and clattering sounds coming from within. Slowly but surely, the top began moving, rotating, unscrewing. A few feet of shining screw projected when suddenly, the lid fell off.

A large ball-shaped being appeared above the rim and rolled its way off the edge until it landed with thud. The red and orange bulk, metallic in texture yet alien in design, faintly growled and its blue triangular eyes illuminated. A short arm emerged from each side and quickly spun open to reveal what resembled vague-looking claws. Two equally short legs unfolded, rotated and slammed their feet to the ground.

The creature managed to lift its weight and hunch over, up to around 10 to 15 feet tall. Its two upward fangs quivered as they inhaled the jungle air and emitted an exhaling huff. Its thick glassy head lunged forth, revealing its straight and long grey neck and from its claws erupted blasts of fire that lit up the night.

This strange bug-like beast was about to begin its hunt...
