A Dream of Mars
Oh to see a Martian rain.
Oh to see water on greening plains.
From joy, find hard to be refrained.
This is Man's fulfilled dream.
…
Plants where there was naught but dust.
A living world where once was rust.
In Mars's future I put trust,
I even see the sunlight's gleam.
…
Of course this is but fantasy.
This world still place of misery.
Earth has not granted amnesty.
Some still wallow in despair.
…
For Sol III Martians are to serve.
They say repayment is deserved.
But while EDF ships are still berthed,
There's revolution in the air.
