For the Love of Emily

Authors Notes: One-shot fiction and my take on the scene where Paige pushes Emily's head down in the pool

Paige was pushing Emily's head down under the water, and all of a sudden was knocked in the water herself. Emily didn't have time to see what was going on but Spencer's hand reaching out to her.

"Are you okay?" Spencer asked, and Paige yelled, "What the hell?!" Emily turned to Paige with anger in her eyes.

"You just tried to drown me!" Emily yelled at Paige, and she responded with, "I was going to let you up."

"Was it before or after she starts floating on top of water you psycho Bitch?!" Spencer yelled back. Emily was escorted out of the swimming area and turned to her friend, "Thank you."

"I came to apologize for going behind your back, it wasn't cool." Spencer told Emily, and she replied with, "You were trying to protect me, I just feel so alone with my Mother not accepting me, and I snapped at you." Spencer hugged Emily close.

"Besides Spence, I think me and you have strong personalities, we're going to argue, but I know you have my back." Emily said to Spencer, and so Em got changed to her regular clothes then left the locker room with her friend...

The whole day Spencer didn't leave Emily's side once, and Hanna, as well as Aria, was trying to figure out what was going on. It was the end of the day, and Paige walked up to Emily.

"You know she didn't need to that. I was going to let you up." Paige told her swim team-mate, and She answered her with, "You still pushed my head down Paige, and you're lucky I didn't go to the principal."

"I didn't expect little miss Hastings to be a Dike." Paige said, and Hanna called out to Em as Aria was right behind the Blonde. They walked to them and stood behind Emily...

"What's going on?" Hanna asked, and Emily reluctantly gave the brief synopsis. The Blonde then punched Piage right in the face.

After a second, the principal came around and asked, "What's going on?"

"Do you want us to tell him, Paige, everything?" Hanna asked, and Paige told the head of the school, she slipped. So Hanna and Emily both left as the Blonde got away with it. They walked out, and Spencer stood tall. She knew the young Ms. Hastings sent Hanna for Em.

"I'm sorry I can't stop protecting you Em, we all can't." Emily said, and she hugged her friends then left.
