Superior Drink

Just a small oneshot on an argument between Arthur & Alfred over tea and coffee. I also wrote this one up for English class XD Hope you like it!

Disclaimer: I do not own Hetalia, David's Tea, or McDonald's

"Coffee!"

"Tea!"

"Coffee!"

"Bloody hell Alfred, will you just get over your absurd obsession for coffee already!" Arthur gestured an angry hand at the dark drink across from him, which was now cold from their prolonged arguing.

"Okay Arthur, as soon as you get over your's with tea!" Alfred fought back, glaring. By now the two had begun to create a disturbance in the calm atmosphere of the cafe. The disagreement had started small, but soon grew into a heated argument over which was the better drink-tea or coffee.

"I don't have an obsession with tea." Arthur stated firmly, more miffed than ever after having to repeat this point for the third time that hour.

"Not like you," Arthur jabbed an accusatory finger at Alfred. "Never is there a morning that you don't start off with that bloody awful drink, but you don't start there, nooo." By now, Alfred was right red in the face, but Arthur continued anyway. "You empty more than ten mugs on a daily basis!"

"That is bullshit and you know it!" Alfred crossed his arms and leaned back glaring Arthur down.

"Oh really?" Arthur challenged.

"Yeah well, at least I'm not like you with your stupid fancy teapot and all your fruit flavoured leaves." Alfred replied in mock tone and waved his fingers in the air, mocking him further. By now they were practically yelling.

"Oh and that dumb Derek's Tea you always drag me to or wherever-"

"You're avoiding my point!" Arthur interjected. Alfred fumed.

"No I'm not!"

"Yes you are!"

"No I'm not!"

"Yes you-"

"COFFEE IS THE SUPERIOR DRINK!" Alfred slammed his hands on the table and jumped up, immediately all eyes were on them.

A nervous looking attendant from the cafe walked over and politely asked them to leave. The two sheepishly consented and stepped past the slim windowed door frame and into the frigid air of the wintered street.

As they walked, an uncomfortable silence hung between them before Alfred spoke up. He first coughed awkwardly into his hand before speaking.

"So I uh," Alfred collected his thoughts. "I'm sorry about that last outburst there. It was pretty stupid." He added that last part whilst shoving his hands into his pockets and slouched.

Arthur raised an eyebrow at him, "Just kind of?"

Alfred laughed and smacked him playfully on the arm. "Oh shut up."

"But I do understand what you were saying. It was very immature of me to get so riled up over something so trivial. So, I do apologize."

Alfred shrugged. "S'alright." He looked at Arthur. "But someday you'll have to try the coffee they sell at McDonald's."

Arthur shook his head. "Now why in the Queen's name would I ever do such a thing?"

"Because coffee really is the superior drink."

"I can't believe you just came back to that!" Arthur shouted.

"Well there's plenty of reason to believe why…"

And the two walked off into the winter night whilst continuing their perpetual, petty argument over which is the superior drink-tea, or coffee?
