"You may prove to be a hindrance" Angelica admitted to Shirou as she stopped walking towards him.

"Your irksome ability, your strange use of magecraft, and your abhorrent self-destructive conviction" As she said that, a portal appeared in front of her and the hilt of a weapon that made Shirou tense up appeared.

"They will all be torn to pieces"

A weapon was pulled out and Shirou looked at it warily Just from a glance, he could tell it was a weapon like no other, and he had no weapon that could even partially counter it. He couldn't even trace the weapon and anytime he attempted, the sword would distort around him and hurt his eye.

That didn't mean he was out-of-options however.

"Yeah" Shirou started as swords started landing around him "There's no sword in this world that could stand equal to that sword."

Weapons by the thousands now started to gather around Shirou like honey around a hive as they buried themselves into the snow to become graves like the rest of the weapons.

"But"

What was before a thousand was now moving onto the hundred thousand as they covered up the sky menacingly

"As improper as it is, I'll have to pay you back with EVERY SWORD I HAVE IN MY WORLD!" With but a gesture, every sword in the Reality Marble swarmed towards her, seeking to pierce her by the thousands.

Angelica looked unfazed as she simply looked at him coldly "Return to the beginning- ENUMA ELISH!"

With that, the two attacks met, millions of swords versus the strongest sword in a mighty clash. Immediately, Shirou could feel his thousands of swords breaking simply by impacting the weapon and grit his teeth.

"HAAAAAAH!" He yelled as he used more of his sister's mana in an unsuccessful attempt to push her back or at least delay the attack.

"FUTILE!" Angelica declared harshly "NO MATTER HOW BLADES YOU PILE UP IT'S WORTHELSS AGAINST THE STRONGEST!"

She was right too; he was being pushed back fast and he could already feel his feet leave a crater against the ground. She was in too so that gave her a better vantage point and let her get all the blades.

Despite the desperate odds, he didn't stop. He couldn't stop. He had to buy time for Miyu to escape. He was the last line of defense and if he perishes before than then it was all for naught.

Holy, Demonic, Draconic, Broken, Perfect, Magical, and even mundane. No matter what he tried they were instantly destroyed.

Balmung? Destroyed Ascalon? Destroyed, even unbreakable swords like Durandal fell in the face of EA.

It truly was the sword of rupture.

He didn't care though, he thought nothing of the swords, and they resembled more to him like graves then actual treasures Noble Phantasms used by heroes. Like EMIYA he had no pride in his craft, and simply used the tools he was given.

Soon enough, the moon in the world darkened and Shirou knew unconsciously that she was gone.

Of course, with her gone he had no more mana to supply himself with and his Reality Marble would crumble in but a few seconds.

"Yeah." Shirou said to himself "It's as you say...There are times when just one thing can outweigh everything else"

As he said that he stopped holding his hand out and simply stood there smiling awaiting the afterlife to join Sakura and Kiritusgu.

"Ah this is bad, our promise to see the ocean together. I forgot, heh"

And with that, the strongest sword slammed into him and all he could see was darkness and he had no regrets with his decisions for he is Shirou Emiya.

Shirou Emiya opened his amber colored eyes.

He immediately regretted it as the hot sun shone on him without discrimination. He held out his hand in a futile attempt to block out the sun but was met with failure. It did however, awake him from his unconsciousness.

When he finally organized his thoughts, he realized two things. One, he wasn't dead. Two he wasn't dead but was not in the mountains like beforehand, he was in an entirely different location.

Despite his situation, he smiled weakly "I failed to be a hero who could save everyone" Like he promised his father. He'd failed just like his father did in becoming a Hero of Justice.

"But... I won Kiritusgu" He tried standing up, but his body instantly rejected the notion and he let out a soft gasp that was barely audible.

He realized he wasn't bleeding from multiple spots anymore, and while his clothes had still seen better days, he nonetheless was perfectly fine.

Well, everything besides his circuits. He could feel them all jumbled up from overuse and he speculated he wouldn't be able to trace high-level weapons for a good while in this condition.

Looking around cautiously, he tried to find a landmark or something that would help him determine where he was as this didn't look like Fuyuki or... anything even remotely familiar to that.

As he suspected, he found nothing. No landmarks, no signs of life, not even birds singing just nothingness. The quietness was slowly getting to him as he walked in a random direction in the hopes of finding someone who can help him.

'If I can find civilization, I can get back home... my empty home"

He shook his head to put the dark thoughts out of his mind.

He silently lamented not having a phone with him like all teenagers usually did carry. Though he doubted it would still be working after the whole battle, he probably could have still repaired it with some structural analysis if it were even a little intact.

He sighed as he was making no headway through the forest. He kept circling back around no matter what direction he went in and it was starting to make him angry.

He briefly looked towards the dark forest that he stood in front of. It was dark even though there was still a good amount of sunlight still out.

"Listen Shirou" his old man said, taking a puff from his cigarette he always had in his mouth. "Whenever you're lost, simply follow the stars. You're a smart kid I know you will always make it back home"

"Dad, you're acting like I'm going to be stranded out in the middle of a forest anytime soon. I'm going to be with you and Miyu forever!"

Kiritusgu sighed "Despite what you may think, I won't always be there for you whenever you're in danger. As a man, you need to learn how to keep a level-head no matter what situation your in."

"Okay dad." Little Shirou said not really heeding his advice. After all, his dad is strong! He wouldn't die.

Kiritusgu smiled tiredly.

At the time he didn't know that that advice would ever be useful. Except here he was, now using that very same advice.

He closed his eyes and leveled his breathing. He knew that if he showed fear, he would never be able to approach the forest and that would be the death of him.

Sometimes you need to look stronger than you are.

As he slowly walked towards the forest, he noticed three claw marks that were gouged into the bark of a tree. Immediately, Shirou could tell that it was not the result of a wolf as their claws were not strong enough to cut this deep into the bark.

Bear was his next theory, but he ruled it out. The climate was too cold right now for bears to be here and even if that weren't the case, he doubted bears could do this or would do this.

This was the result of something supernatural.

Just as he figured that out, he heard a low growl erupt from the forest, and red eyes were the only thing he could see in the darkness that was the forest.

He immediately traced his two favorite swords, Kanshou and Bakuya and held them in a reverse grip ready to attack should the monster prove to be hostile

'W-What is that? Could it possibly be an experiment gone wrong in the Clocktower?'

It was forbidden for Magus' to experiment with such matters and it was especially forbidden for a magus to create something like a Chimera as it could possibly get out and expose mystic elements to the world.

And he bet every sword in his arsenal that it wasn't normal by any means.

When it finally stepped out of the dark forest, Shirou was convinced. If lions were known to be scary for their sharp claws, fur, and all-around intimidating nature, then this was an absolute abomination.

It stood on all fours like a lion and even had a lion's mane but that was where similarities abruptly stopped. It's fur was pitch black which gave off a nightmarish feeling to it and even the fur looked as sharp as needles. One thing that really set him off however, was the wolfish grin it had on its face. Animals were not supposed to smile. However, this completely skipped that step and grinned!

And like an animal, it had a tail. Of course, the tail was anything but normal as it was a scorpion's tail if he could tell correctly, that was sharp and slanted but gave off an intimidating feature. It was also jagged and reminded him of Archer's Trace Over-edge form.

If it were anything like a scorpion too, its tail was full of poison that could possibly incapacitate him or just downright kill him in seconds.

He subconsciously told himself to always keep track of the tail. If he lost sight of the tail, he was done for and he was going to be its dinner.

The beast then snarled and crouched down in preparation to attack.

A/N: And that's the first chapter. Mind you, this is my first story so give this story a shot as I start off pretty rocky but it gets better along the way.

Bear in mind that Shirou will be a little Oc to you guys but that's because I couldn't really grasp his personality in the movie and decided to just make my own version of his personality.

Now Ya'll might be asking "Wrath, why are you using Oath over Snow Shirou instead of Heavens Feel, UBW or original fate route Shirou."

Good question. I'm using this Shirou because he's shown the ability to trace divine constructs even though they are hollow. So, I decided to roll with that idea, and see how it goes.

In a world where basically everything is divine, that's a very handy ability. (Plus, I don't trust myself to get a good grasp on his personality ya know?)

Anyway, until next time, wrath.
