Neptune dreamt.
A dream of fire. A dream of chaos. a dream of death.
A dream of EVIL.

Shocked, Neptune woke up.
'what was that?' She thought to herself.
She didn't know why, she didn't know how, but for some reason, that dream...
is etched into her very soul.
(-Dream-)
The next time she dreamt, she dreamt of swords. So many swords. She couldn't see an end to them.
She dreamt of using the swords in a similiar manner to her 32 Megabit blade attacks, and using them to defeat her enemies.
She dreamt of being a hero of justice.
A hero of justice who wasn't able to save anyone.
A hero of justice... who got betrayed by the ones he tried to help.
(-Reality-)
''Neptune, are you fine?'' Neptune hears the question of her sister, while looking at a sword in her hands...
a sword she just created. Not pulled out of her inventory... but from somewhere else...
Somewhere she can't access.
''Yes, Nepgear, I am fine. I was just thinking about something.'' She answers her sister.
''Great! When are you gonna cook for us then? I am hungry!''
'Wait, what?'
''She's right, Neptune,'' responds a second voice, Histy's voice, ''it's lunch time, and i am hungry as well.''
''Wait, Histy, since when do i cook?''
''Huh? Neptune, you always cooked for us. What's up with you today?'' Answers the tome.
While Neptune knew that that is far from the truth, for some reason...
she couldn't deny that she used to do it.
Maybe it's the chemistry and all Nep bulls she created?

The next time she dreamt, she dreamt of a knight.
A king of knights. A king who served her dream self.
A king who only served her people, but never walked with them.
A king who served her until the end of the war. A king that was saved.
A king...
he could never reach, not matter how much he tried.
(-Reality-)
'What a pitiful person.' Neptune thought.
She didn't know if she was talking about her dream self or the knight.
She knew for sure though, she can never call the knight a king. For a ruler who never walked with her people...
''Nepko, Nepko, hey Nepko! You there?''
she can never call a ruler.
''Yes, yes, Iffy, i am here.'' Neptune responds to the question of one of her best friends. She was out quest'ing with Iffy and Compa, and are now returning to Planeptune.
''Jeez, NepNep. You have been spacing out alot lately. Did something happen?'' Her other best friend asks her.
''Well... I've been having some strange dreams lately.''
''What kind of dreams, Nepko?''
As she answers the questions of her friends, Neptune looks into one of the glass buildings on the sideway...
and what she sees shocks her into her very being.
For her reflection on the glass was...
a red haired golden eyed young man.
(-Dream-)
Her next dream involved Iffy, of that she was sure.
For the girl she dreamt of, sounded exactly like her friend, and acted similiar to her.
However, unlike Iffy, that girl was her dream's self superior.
A girl that tought him.
A girl that helped him through the war.
A girl that made him able to defeat her first dream self. Made him able to defeat a king of humans...
A girl that grounded his ideals of being a hero, and never really let him lose himself in his ideals or search, like her other dream selfs.

'Unlimited Blade Works, huh?'
That was it. That is where she's pulling the swords from, the girl realized. Even her 32 Megabit attack pulled swords from there. A place filled with an unlimited amound of Swords...
Swords her dream selfs acquired through their journeys. But how was she related to them.
'I definetly have to ask Histy about this.' Neptune thought to herself.
''Rejoice, girl!'' a line that sent shivers to her spine...
was said by her CPU counterpart from Ultra Dimension.
''Plutie, Vert, Blanc! What are you three doing here?'' The girl asks newcomers.
''There's a 4GO raid happening soon, Neptune, and since Lonely Heart is busy, i thought you could join us!'' answers the well endowed woman, Vert.
''I also wanted to ask you a question, Neptune,'' say the third member of the group, Blanc, ''Do you remember?''
''Remember what, Blanc?''
''Do you remember the Miracle?''

The girl dreamt.
She dreamt of a different dream self.
She dreamt of being agressive early in the war. Of parting ways with the knight. Of parting ways with Iffy.
Of parting way with his Ideals. Of parting way of who he is.
To protect their most beloved person.
She dreamt of fighting a person who is extremly like her dream self, but also different.
A person he likes. A person he detests.
A person whose wish he destroyed.
The girl then dreamt of his sister. His older sister.
His sister whose last words were very familiar to Neptune
''Then i'll show you a Miracle.''
And he screamed his sister's name.
(-Reality-)
''ILLYA!''
The girl screamed. The girl felt tears on her cheeks, for she was crying.
She didn't know what to think. She didn't even want to think about it.
Having to choose between a beloved person and the world, Neptune didn't want to think about it, for she wanted to save anyone who wants to be saved.
''Are you ok, Neptune?'' Asked a surprised Nepgear.
But if the time came and she had to choose between her friends and Gamindustri, between Nepgear and Gamindustri, Neptune knew...
''Yes, Nepgear. You can go back to sleep.''
that she was a CPU.
For above all else, she was a protector of Gamindustri.
Yet the girl couldn't accept it, and thus she couldn't sleep, until her guests arrived later that day.
(-Time skip-)
The Lowee trio arrived at the Basilicom later that, stating that they want to talk to Neptune. Serving pudding to everyone. Pudding she prepared herself.
''So, Blanc,'' asks Histoire while Neptune was serving pudding, ''What brought you and your sisters here today?''
''Well,'' answers the CPU of Lowee, ''Rom and Ram wanted to talk with Neptune.''
''With me?'' Asks the girl in question.
''Yes, yes, big sister Neptune,'' answers one of the twins, Ram, ''Tell me, big sister, do you remember?''
A sound of something hitting the ground is heard. Everyone is shocked as they see Neptune's pudding falling out of her hands.
''Remember what? What are you talking about, Ram?'' asks Nepgear.
''I...i will continue that, Nepgear,'' responds the other twin, Rom, ''Big sister, do you remember the Wish?''
''The Wish? Rom, Ram, what are you talking about?'' Asks their big sister, worried. However the twins ingore her.
''Do you remember your Wish?''
And Neptune fell into unconsciousness.
(-Dream-)
The girl dreamt.
She dreamt of a dying world. A world on the verge of destruction.
She dreamt of her dream self searching for a cure for the world with his father.
For they were heroes of justice.
She dreamt of finding the cure...
in a young girl. A girl who became his sister.
A girl whose wish was to become his sister.
A girl he let go of his ideals for.
A girl he became all the evils in the world for.
A girl...
he sacrificed the world for.
For his last words to her were
''I wish you find...
a warm small share of happiness!''
For that was, Emiya Shirou's deepest wish.
(-Reality-)
And that was Neptune's innermost wish, she herself realized. For everyone to find a warm small share of happiness. It's why...
''So you remember now, Nepsy?''
Looking at her surroundings, the girl realized she is in a hospital room. And with her in the room were...
'Uzume...and Rei? What are they doing here?'
''What do you mean, Uzume? And where are Histy and Nepgear?''
''Don't escape the question, Neptune.'' Responds the second occupant, Rei, ''Do you remember who you are? what you caused?''
''...I don't understand...'' answers the girl on the bed.
''Nepsy, so you don't remember the Knight? The Friend? the Miracle? the Wish?'' Clarifies Uzume.
''Do you remember who you are, Emiya Shirou? What you did?'' Continues Rei.
''I am not Shirou! I am Neptune, the CPU of Planeptune. I am Purple Heart! I am a protector of Gamindustri!'' The girl denies.
''Nepsy, denying it won't help anyone. I will help you remember. Tell me what your innermost wish is. No, wait, i will tell you, it's for everyone to find...''
''...a warm small share of hapiness...'' the girl continues...
and the girl remembers...
(-Flashback-)
''Are you sure about this, Shirou?'' Asks a white haired girl, wearing a nun outfit, ''This will completely change the world. Earth as we know it will be no more. It isn't far off that we might return to the age of gods.''
''I am sure, Caren. This might be the only way i can save everyone. No matter how much i tried, someone keeps dying.'' Answers the red haired boy, ''If changing the world is what it takes to see them all happy and smiling again, to stop this cycle of the strong trampling the weak, to stop unnecessary sacrifice, then i shall do it.''
''Very well then, Shirou. Let's do this.''
As the boy prepares himself for the ritual, the girl kisses him goodbye. The girl drying her tears and the boy steeling his resolve, they start the ritual.
''I AM THE BONE OF MY SWORD.''
(-Flashback End-)
''You succeded, Nepsy.'' Uzume tells her, ''Everyone is here, but...''
''The world changed too much.'' The girl herself continues, ''So that is the result of my own wish? Gamindustri?''
''Yes,'' continues Rei, ''Gamindustri is what came about after your ritual.''
''And what now?'' Asks the girl.
''That is up for you to decide, Nepsy.'' Responds Uzume. ''Know that your decision will affect everyone.''
''So, now that you know the truth, do you want to be Neptune, the CPU of Planeptune?'' Uzume reaches with her hand to the girl.
''Or do you want to become Emiya Shirou, the Hero of Justice?'' And Rei reaches with her own hand.
And Neptune knew, that whatever hand she takes...
the world won't be the same anymore.
''I am...''
