For those that actually read author notes, you were expecting this from my last update from Don't Back Down. For those that didn't read it, Welcome to my very first Duck Tale fairytale AU! This story is on Wattpad but to make it different, I'll make this version a non musical. If you want to see the musical version, it's over at Wattpad. Just wanted to make different ones for those that don't like musicals.

So I decided to do a little parody of my own fairy tale. It'll be loosely inspired by classic stories like the Prince and the Pauper and a hint of Swan Lake and Cinderella. Then Disney films like Frozen 2, Aladdin, Heracles, and Moana. You'll also notice hints of old stories like a Romeo and Juliet relationship and Greek mythology. Basically, I took a LOT of inspiration from other fairy tales to make my own.

Hope I do a good job cause I always wanted to create my own Fairy Tale instead of doing parodies.

Duckburg Kingdom

Once Upon a time, there were three kingdoms. Cape Suzzette, St Canard and Duckburg. For seven years, the three kingdoms were at war. Until one day, the young prince of Duckburg finally became king. He made peace with the other kingdoms and his name went down in history. King Scrooge Mcduck: Hero of his kingdom and many more. For years, the three kingdoms lived in harmony, allowing the king to raise a wonderful family in peace. His nephew, Prince Donald, was a brave and caring man. Fighting for what's right and never letting even a bit of evil near his family. Scrooge's niece, Princess Della, was Donald's twin. She was lovely, kind, and most of all, adventurous. She joined her uncle and brother on all their adventures. When things couldn't seem to get any better,

"It's happening!" Donald ran across the garden and burst through the doors. Literally burst, he didn't even bother opening the doors and instead went right through them.

"Donald Amigo! Slow down!" A man slipped through the Donald shaped hole in the door.

"Can't! Della needs me!" Donald basically flew up the stairs and took a quick turn to the halls. Another man polity opened the doors despite the big hole he could've gone through.

"I haven't seen Donald this worried since we were trapped in the minotaur's labyrinth," he comments. The men were dressed like knights, except of different cultures. One had a sphere and bronze like armour and helmet with red feathers at the top. He came from a line of mexican ancestors and met Donald when Scrooge made an alliance with a kingdom in his hometown. This knight was named Panchito. The second man was armoured with silver and blue colored armor and a curved sword by his side. He was Donald's childhood friend when Donald and his uncle visited Brazil for a meeting. This knight was named Jose. The two followed their best friend up the stairs and down the hall.

"I can hear them crying!" Donald's voice echoed in the halls. He dashed across the red carpet so fast that when he turned he caused burnt tracks on them, "I'm coming Della!"

It wasn't just crying that he heard but screams of his one and only sister. He rushed past a door only to realize that was the room she was in. He made a rough U turn and started to jiggle the door knob.

"Why won't it open!?" He pulled and pulled onto the door but it wouldn't budge. Soon, someone on the other side opened the door causing Donald to fall in.

"It's push, not pull," his uncle looked down at Donald. The man didn't care at this point. He jumped up and went straight for his sister who was in bed screaming in pain.

"Della! I'm here! I'm here!" Donald jumped into a seat next to her and held her hands, "Did I miss anything?!"

His only answer was a bloody scream. His sister threw herself forward then laid back back down into her pillow.

"One down, two more to go," Della told him weakly. Donald nodded yes to reassure his sister he would be here for her.

Hour after hour, Donalds friends waited outside the room. Hearing nothing but screams of agony and crying.

"The beauty of birth," Jose was quietly thinking to himself.

"Is the delivery done yet?!" A male knight called out as he ran to the group with another knight behind him. This knight was very different compared to the others in his team. His armor was a lot bulkier with a color scheme of white and red. Other knights had silver colored armor. This was to say that he was the captain of his team.

"Not yet Fenton," Jose answered him. The knight named Fenton removed his helmet and the knight behind him followed.

"How long has it been?" The knight behind Fenton revealed herself to be female. She had short dark hair, tan skin and shimmering blue eyes.

"About 3 hours Miss D," Jose answered. The female knight nodded and took a seat in the hall. She was known as Gandra D, Fenton's wife, knight for the Mcduck family and former enemy of King Scrooge. Why is she known as Scrooge's former enemy? No one besides the royal family and Fenton know why. It was a vow that they keep her past a secret from anyone outside the castle and especially outside the kingdom.

"I'm surprised you two made it here. Must've been a long trip from South America," Fenton took a seat next to his wife and talked to the other two knights.

"We happened to be visiting Donald today for training practice," Jose explained, "Then Mrs. Beakly came and told Donald that his sister was in labor….."

"And in a second Donald ran straight to the castle as if he was in the running of the bulls," Panchito finished the explanation.

"Are we late?" They heard someone else coming from the halls. One man in a green suit, Gladstone, and another who looked like he was dragged out of the sea, Fethry. Both were cousins of Della and Donald. Everyone jumped up in surprise when they heard Della let out another scream.

"We should take that as a no," Fethry concluded.

"Fethry, Gladstone," Fenton greeted them. Fethry happily saluted while Gladstone shook his hand, "Glad to see you guys made it."

"We would never miss out on an opportunity to greet the newest members of the family." Gladstone commented, "When hard times hit we must stick together."

Everyone sadly smiled and nodded when he said this. 2 months ago, Dellas husband had passed away. The castle was getting complaints about strange events in the forest. Her husband left to see what was causing such a ruckus but never returned home. A month later, he was found dead in the forest. Ever since that day, Donald has become more protective of his sister, being there for her at every moment she needed him.

The hallway was again filled with another loud scream from the princess. This one was the loudest of them all causing everyone to cringe in fear and worry. The screams of a princess were soon replaced by the cries of a new born child. The door opened to reveal the king with a bright smile.

"I assume you would all like to meet the new princes?" Scrooge wasn't asking but stating. Everyone entered the room with warm smiles.

At the bed, Della was happily rocking two baby boys in her arms. One was wrapped in a red blanket and the other in a green blanket. Donald stood by her side with another baby boy wrapped in a blue blanket.

"You did it Della," Donald happily squeezed his little nephew.

"Yeah…. Thanks Donald for being here," Della whispered with the little energy she had left.

"Awe!" Fethry squealed at the sight. The moment he looked down at the babies in Dellas arms and his eyes lit up like stars, "So cute!"

Della gladly let Fethry pick up the baby in the red blanket. Gladstone was next to pick up the baby in green. He looked down at the little prince and smiled.

"I can tell this little one is gonna be just like me," Gladstone rubbed the baby's cheek with his finger tips. The baby sqwirmed in his arms, trying to grab his fingers.

"So, what's their names?" Fenton asked as he took a turn to carry the baby in red.

"Della?" Scrooge asked his niece. Della sat in her bed thinking of the names she picked out.

"It took me awhile but I finally figured it out. The one in red is Prince Jet, the one in blue is Prince Turbo, and the one in green is Prince Rebel,"

"Seriously?" Gandra laughed a bit as she took Jet into her arms.

"My thought exactly," Donald commented, receiving a nudge from Della. Gandra looked down at Jet and observed his features.

"I guess it fits," She commented, "I can see this little guy getting an interest in science and robotics."

"Don't put any of your crazy science ideas on this child," Gladstone warned her, "I have yet to forgive Gyro for destroying my room with an evil toaster coming to life."

"Oh please, he's a sociopathic idot is what he is," Gandra replied, causing a laugh from some of the people who agreed.

Everything was wonderful for the royal family. The word about the new princes spread and the kingdom imeatally went to work on a celebration.

Time lapse

"More gifts?" Della came to the throne room where a line of people were waiting for her. They all had gifts for the new princes.

"You've gotten quite popular your highness," a teenage girl told her. She had white hair with a pixie cut. Her bangs had pink tips which was odd to the royal family. This girl was Lena. A 15 year old that Della found wandering the streets months ago. She claimed to be lost and had no idea where her family was. Feeling sympathy for her, Della took Lena in until she could find her family again. She helped around the castle and gained everyone's trust really fast. But unfortunately for her, that trust was soon lost.

One dreadful day during an eclipse. Shadows in Duckburg came to life. One by one, the shadows flew up and made what appeared to be a vortex over the castle. If that wasn't bad enough, Lenas shadow revealed itself to be one of Scrooge's worst enemies. Magica De Spell. Before anyone could do anything, Magica took Scrooge away. No one saw what she did to him. No one even knows if Scrooge is alive or dead. After taking over Duckburg, she took over Cape Suzzette and St Canard.

Weeks later, three vultures then came out of the shadows and took over St Canard with Magicas permission. They named their organization F.O.W.L.

Captain Lunaris, ruler of the moon, had a burning feeling of revenge on earth and attacked, but he was stopped when he was offered a piece of land by Magica. The land being Cape Suzzette.

But there was still a ray of hope. Some of the Mcduck family members were able to escape. But no one knew where they were, not even Magica. 3 months into her ruling, she was told a prophecy by a prophet.

Your rain of terror shall not last forever. For when the three younglings unite, they will unite the kingdoms together and bring peace once more. You'll be given three chances plus one to change your ways. Four signs will serve you as a warning before your defeat. First sign is when the fox learns humility instead of trickery. The second sign is when the lion no longer holds pride but sensitivity. The third is when the Owl no longer leans on his own understanding. Your final and last warning is when the timid bird finally swallows the snake.

Because of this one prophecy, it was the law that no one, besides the rulers themselves, are allowed to interact with the other kingdoms. No friendships, no marriage, no relationship outside your own kingdom. This way, the kingdoms can never be united and the prophecy will never be fulfilled.

In Duckburg kingdom.

It has been three months since Magica took over the kingdom. Magica destroyed Scrooge Mcduck but the remaining Mcduck family had hid themselves in the secret passages of the castle. Secret passages that not even Magica knew about. Magica kept the staff the castle had like Fenton, Gyro, Gandra, Beakley, ect. Saying she rather keep them than destroy them and look for replacements. In the passages, a group of women were walking with excited but worried looks to them.

"A new addition to the kingdom! Isn't this exciting?!" Della had her airhorns set and ready. She had to hide in these secret passages to avoid being thrown in the dungeons or worse.

"But who's gonna tell her about the new law?" A golden haired girl asked a little worried. This was the famous treasure hunter Goldie O'Gilt. Ex partner to Scrooge Mcduck. Ex girlfriend, ex friend, ex everything. But that didn't mean she couldn't see the family. Because she would literally break into the castle from time to time uninvited just to see her favorite triplet or steal whatever she can.

"Oh pish posh, forget the new law for now. This is a special occasion," a lady with a black bow looked into her hand mirror and made sure her makeup was perfect. This was none other than Princess Daisy Duck of Cape Suzzette. Girlfriend and finance of Prince Donald. She was a bit of a diva but can you blame her. She lived a life of luxury and wealth until Lunaris came and took over her kingdom.

"Now remember ladies, we surprise her with our gifts first and then we tell her the bad news, got it?" An elderly lady told the group. She was much bigger than the other ladies and much buffer. She was Duckburgs royal family maid slash spy slash bodyguard and whether she liked it or not, secretary for the king. But everyone calls her Mrs. Beakley.

All the women nodded yes in excitement and clutched onto their gifts even tighter. Beakley slowly opened a secret door that led to what appeared to be a room. It was a bit messy. Pieces of wood strayed on the floor, a basket full of blankets laid in the corner, and an unfinished crib near the window. Their eyes landed on someone who was still in bed. The girls tiptoed their way to the bed, careful not to wake up the lady in bed.

Della was in complete awe when she saw all the decorations that weren't put up yet. She held her heart tightly before looking at the lady in bed by herself. Excited, she held up one finger, then two, and by the time she held up the third finger, all the ladies shouted in joy. At the same time, Della pushed her air horns at full blast!

" Congratulations!" The loud voices along with the airhorns were enough to make the lady in bed to shoot up and scream in fear. She fell out of bed but was soon on her feet with a sword in hand. She swung the metal weapon at all directions trying to attack the intruders in her room.

"Whoa whoa whoa! Gandra! It's us!" Daisy ducked down to the floor, not wanting her head chopped off today. The so called Gandra didn't hear her pleas. She kept swinging her sword at all directions until Beakley finally stopped the blade grabbing the blade with a technique she learned in training.

"Dearest, it's only us," Beakley assured her. Gandra finally took the time to get a good look at who was in her room. Everyone was full of terrified expressions, especially Della who was tightly holding onto her sliced air horns in fear. She saw that she had sliced the curtains and some of the other ladies clothes.

"You ladies should know better than scare me like that," Gandra sighed in relief that she wasn't in danger. She slid the sword back under her bed before flopping back in her bed, "What are you even doing here?"

"Well, a little birdie told us that you're having your first kid!" Della jumped up and down excitedly. Gandra rolled her eyes and let her head fall into her hand.

"Fenton couldn't help but share huh?"

"Why didn't you tell us?!" Daisy walked past the girls and looked at Gandras belly. It wasn't too obvious but she could see a baby bump forming. Daisy squealed in delight that she couldn't get her words out. Gandra just smiled and rolled her eyes at the princess excitement.

"4 months pregnant," she answered Daisys unasked question.

Excited, the ladies passed their gifts to the new mother.

"You hoping for a boy or girl?" Della questioned.

"Don't strain yourself Della dear. As long as the baby is healthy, she has no reason to choose a preference," Goldie said. She grabbed her gift and handed it to Gandra, "I got you the biggest because I care for you the most."

"Oh bother," Della chuckled under her breath, "Have you been eating healthy? You know you need a lot of vitamins and nutrients. Oh! Have you thought of any names yet!? Can I be the Godmother!?..."

Della was soon interrupted when a knock on the door came. Gandra hopped out of bed and went to answer the door. Behind her back, the ladies looked at each other with worry.

"What if it's starting now?" Della panicked.

"Nonono, stay positive," Daisy whispered back to her. The ladies held onto each other and watched their friend open the door. They were relieved when the raven haired girl opened the door and was greeted by a familiar face.

"Manny? What are you doing here so early? It's 8 o'clock," Gandra asked a man horse. The horse stomped his hooves together as his way of communicating. Gandra soon had a confused face but not because she had trouble understanding him.

"News? I just got up from bed, I didn't hear about any news," The ladies gulped down their fear when they heard this.

"Told you we should've warned her first," Goldie mumbled to the others. Everyone shushed her and watched on in horror and worry. Manny came into the room and handed Gandra a news article that had the new law.

"No relationships? No friendships? No marriage between anyone from the three kingdoms? If anyone fails to follow this law they will be executed?" Gandra read outloud.

"We were gonna tell you but we didn't know how," Della revealed.

"What's there to worry about? Fenton and I married 6 months ago. That makes me a resident of Duckburg now. So it doesn't count against Fenton and I," Gandra didn't seem fazed by the news.

"Yea but did you read this part?" Della pointed at the bottom of the page.

"All those who belong to a different kingdom must go back to their kingdom of birth. No exceptions. And all children who are a mix will be taken away?! She can't do that! I come from St Canard! Fenton is from Duckburg!" Gandra threw the paper to the floor and picked up a baby blanket. She squeezed it in her hands and began to pace back and forth, "I can't get taken back to St Canard! I…. I can't! I won't! I'll die! And the kid… oh no what is she gonna do to it?"

"That's one reason we came," Della started the explanation. She stopped Gandra in her tracks and sat her back down on the bed. "Fenton didn't tell us from excitement. He told us the moment he heard the news. We came here to warn you."

"Why didn't you?!" Gandra shouted at them.

"We wanted you to have a happy moment first! You know! A new baby is something to celebrate about, not worry," Della tried to explain. She gently took the baby blanket and folded it, "Besides, the search for non Duckburg citizen's won't start till noon. We still have time to hide you before Magica finds out about the baby."

"A baby?!" All the women looked back at the door to see Gyro standing there, wide eyes and wide mouth. Everyone looked at him with a surprised and worried face. Gyros eye's moved to look at Dellas hands to see a baby blanket.

"Uhhh… no," Della tossed the blanket over the baby bump as if to hide it from Gyro, "What baby?"

Gyro slowly took a step back with his eyes still locked on them. In a split second, he dashed off but it didn't take a genius to know what he was gonna do.

"Get him," Goldie was the first one out of Gandra room followed by Della, Daisy, and Beakly.

"Magica! Magica!" Gyro cried out for the queen. Behind him he could hear the ladies shout at him.

"You're insane!"

"Don't do it!'

"Get back here you twerp!"

The girls were catching up to him. Della pulled onto Gyros shirt slowing him down. The scientist tried to shake her off but he was soon tackled to the ground by Daisy. Not even a second later, Goldie hopped into the action as well. She made sure to muffle his screams as Daisy gave him some punches.

"Ow!" Goldie felt Gyro bite her hand. She let go of his mouth letting him scream for help.

"Shut it you buffoon!" Della tackled him as well. The three girls squabble around, not letting Gyro free. Beakley stopped in her tracks and watched as the fight created a ball of smoke around them. Gyro managed to grab a shield from a knight suit on display and protect himself. He got up to his feet and began to run again.

Only this time, the painting of Scrooge Mcduck then swung open and smacked him straight on the face. He bounced back and hit the floor unconscious.

"Shoot, did I hit someone?" Fenton peeked out from the secret passage. Without saying a word, the ladies kneeled down and grabbed onto the man's body. They made sure to gag him, tie his wrists and feet together. They picked him up and dragged the unconscious body into the secret room.

"We have another problem," Della told Fenton before entering the secret passage.

In a secret room among the walls

"Get me out of here!" Gyro moved his legs back and forth making it look like he was running in mid air. He was being held up by Manny who was ordered to keep Gyro in his grasp.

"Not until you promise to keep the baby a secret," Fenton tried to tell him again.

"You know for a fact that I can't do that. The queen must be informed about this right away. If she were to find out herself who knows what kind of hell she might bring upon in the kingdom,"

"You just want to rat us out because if you do you'll be set free," Gandra snapped at him.

"What makes you say that?"

" If anyone were to find out any valuable information about anything, they must tell the one in charge in exchange for a reward," Beakly flipped the law book she had to a certain page and showed it to him. Gyro rolled his eyes at this before speaking.

"So I was gonna exchange your wife and baby for my freedom. It's not my fault you two couldn't keep it in your pants!"

"Who would have predicted this kind of law!?" Gandra shouted back at him

"Not my problem! Believe me when I say that I will tell the queen and get out of this kingdom! No matter what it takes!"

"And I believe the queen would also like to be informed about the lil bulb incident," Goldie threatened him. Gyro stopped struggling for a split second.

"I don't know what your talking about,"

"Don't act dumb with me. I saw what happened. Lil bulb went evil again and destroyed the queen's room….. again," Goldie made sure to remind him, "with an incident like that, that will surely get you thrown into the dungeons."

"You wouldn't dare," Gyro glared at her. Goldie glared back and pointed at him to make her point clear.

"Watch me," she said in her usual deep menacing tone. Gyro let a low growl out as he mumbled.

"Fine, I won't say a word," with that, Manny let him fall onto the floor.

"Thank you," Fenton took a sigh of relief.

"Now don't take this as anything meaningful. I have something on you, you have something on me. Call it even, ok?" Gyro made sure to make himself clear. Fenton nodded yes firmely to confirm he understood. Everyone's attention went back to each other and planning on what to do next.

The room was pretty big, big enough to hold the family and friends, including Lena. For the past 3 months, she visited the family in these passages to make sure they were still safe. She may be Magicas niece, but that didn't mean she had to mistreat the royal family. They showed her more compassion and love than Magica ever did. The quietness of the room was broken when they heard a female baby crying.

"Oh dear, Webby," Beakly hurried to pick up her granddaughter from the basket she was in. She cradled her baby, trying to calm her down before anyone or any shadow heard her.

Webby was Beakley granddaughter from her mother's side. Just a month ago, Webbys parents got taken away for forming a rebellion, and they didn't get taken away to the dungeons. Since they were the leaders of the rebellion, they were taken away off a cliff. Ever since that day, Beakly took Webby into her care.

"Will you quiet that baby down? She'll get us caught," Donald covered his sleeping nephew's ears so they didn't wake up.

"There there Webbigail, don't cry, I'm here," Beakly soothed her baby.

"How could something as innocent as babies be such a big problem?" Daisy thought out loud.

"The babies aren't the problem! It's this stupid law, and it's stupid rulers with their stupid thirst for power," Gandra spat out.

"We can't keep living in secret," said Della, " Unless we plan on raising children underground for all our lives. And let me tell you, I've been hiding in these passages for months now and it's not pleasant."

"No one can stay underground, the moment it's noon the shadows are gonna search every inch of this kingdom to take away non Duckburge citizens. And if they search hard enough, they'll surely find these passages," Lena warned. Everyone mumbled in worry and fright.

"We need to leave the kingdom now!" Della panicked. She ran to her things and began packing her and the tripletes things.

"What time is it?" Donald asked, packing as well.

"It's around eight thirty," Fenton answered.

"We need to tell the others," Della warned,"What about cousine Gladstone? Cousine Fethry? We can't leave them."

"I'll get them," Fenton told them, "I'll meet you all back here in an hour."

In a rush, everyone ran to get their things and prepared themselves to escape the castle.

I actually debated with myself if this should be a human AU cause I had some ideas that could only work if they were humans. Human AU only won because birds can't get pregnant, duh, and that's gonna be a plot point at one point in this story. Hope you like it, if not, I could always delete and continue on Wattpad.
