Chapter 1

Lefiya's eyes went wide and she sat up with a gasp. "Where…?" Suddenly she remembered.

"Bell…" She breathed the name, almost like she was testing out her voice. Suddenly she felt tears starting to form in her eyes. So it had worked, now she just needed to figure out when she was. Glancing around she found herself in a safe zone in the dungeon. The 50th floor?

Listening she heard the soft sounds of feet moving towards her. Instinctively she reached for her trusty dagger at her waist, when she didn't find that she reached for her staff before remembering where she was.

Looking up she saw Tione and Tiona walking towards her, Tione carrying a bowl of soup. "C'mon cheer up Lefiya, look your food's getting cold."

Seeing the two amazons both alive and breathing, Lefiya felt the tears in her eyes coming out even more at seeing them. How could she not cry? The last time she'd seen either of them they'd…

Tione, understandably misunderstanding Lefiya's reason's for crying continued. "Hey, where safe now, and all we have to do is set up our camp. You don't need to worry okay? Besides, you need to eat, or you'll never get any bigger!" Huh, this conversation felt familiar to Lefiya. When did this…?

Tiona suddenly started too. "Look, you did all you could. Besides, the monster attacks were particularly brutal this time anyways. Now hurry up and eat." Tiona stared down towards Tione's chest. "Although, as you can see, not even binge eating can make everyone grow bigger."

"What did you just say!?" Tione yelled angrily as Lefiya suddenly remembered.

This was the day that everything started. The day that all the crud in the world started to land in front of them… that was actually rather convenient actually.

"Well, while I can appreciate a good bust, I can say with certainty that size isn't the most important factor." The two amazons stared at Lefiya like she'd grown a second head, shouldn't she be apologizing and looking adorable about now?

"I-I, What!" Tione cried out, finally expressing her surprise at Lefiya's comment.

"What's the matter?" And there was Aiz.

Tiona didn't react to Aiz's appearance. "I-I, did Lefiya just…?"

"Lefiya just made a comment on boob sizes!" Tione said to Aiz.

"I said that size isn't the most important factor, for instance…" Lefiya raised her hands up to her own breasts and squeezed them together. "These babies. They aren't massive, but their decently sized. And they're soft and squishy, decent pillows I'd imagine." That's what she'd always been told in her time anyways.

The two amazons were utterly mortified by the conversation. Lefiya grinned at them and Tione shivered, she'd seen that grin somewhere before, but where?

Aiz cocked her head to the side. "I never took you for the vain type."

Lefiya looked at Aiz. "Is it vanity if its true? I mean, I'm not the type to normally show off, but just look at me, quite the bod no?" The twins faces started to turn red, Tione much more so as her eyes had trailed up and down Lefiya's body.

"Everything okay?" The amused voice of Finn said. And as everyone turned towards him he continued saying. "Is there something I should know?"

"C-Captain! L-Lefiya is b-being weird!" Tiona suddenly exclaimed.

"Oh? Weird how, if I may ask?" The amusement dripping from his tone.

"Lefiya was talking about what she thought of her breasts captain." Aiz said, to everyone's shock.

"I… she… what!?" Riveria, who had come with the captain sputtered.

"Yeah!" Tione finally returned to earth. "Lefiya was talking about how she thought her breasts were better then both mine and Tiona's."

"Theirs nothing to be ashamed of Tione. I'll have you know that I still feel a strong attraction towards you even though your flat as a board." Tione looked like she'd been shot in the heart.

Lefiya's expression turned more serious. "Regardless, captain, I have a request." Finn expression getting serious too inclined his head forward, gesturing for her to go one. "I'd like a good quality dagger, or a large knife. Is their any I could use?"

Finn frowned. "What do you need it for?"

"We're in the dungeon captain." Gareth, who was also with Finn, chuckled at that.

Finn nodded. "I can understand that, and we are getting close to the real dangers of this expedition. Very well, I'll see what we have. Oh, and Aiz, do you have a minuet? I need to speak with you." Aiz nodded.

"Lefiya." Lefiya turned towards Riveria. "I need you to come with me. Let's talk."

Lefiya nodded. "Right." Everyone dispersed going off in different directions.

Everyone except the amazon twins. "What happened to her?" Tione finally asked.

"I don't know." Tiona said, somewhat fearfully.

Lefiya looked around, seeing the 50th floor so peaceful was… a nice change of pace compared to what she was used to.

Of course what she was used too was the city of Orario filled with smoke and corpses so it wasn't hard for something else to be considered nicer.

"I can see, you still aren't used to fighting on the deeper floors." Well, Riveria wasn't wrong. From what she recalled she should've still been a bout level three by this point. Meaning that her body was still slow, gods she'd need to fix that.

"I'm sorry, I'm better then that. And I promise you right now I'll do better then that." Riveria turned, not expecting those words, and met Lefiya's eyes. What she saw shocked her.

It was a mix of emotions, sadness, happiness, relief, fear. But by far the most noticeable thing in her eyes was the sheer amount of determination they had. Riveria smiled. "You have a set of rare magical abilities. Just based on your skills and sheer firepower alone you're already well above the level three range. That is why we brought you on this expedition. Understood?"

Lefiya clutched her staff in her hands. "Yes."

Riveria nodded, and faced towards the trees below again. "You want to fight alongside Aiz don't you?"

Lefiya thought about. It had been her only goal the first time around, but that time she had had her Aiz Wallenstein obsession. That wasn't to say that she didn't want to fight with Aiz this time around, because she certainly still held a strong affection for the woman, [hard not to with the dynamic they had in her time,] but her goal in coming back had more to do with white hair and red eyes… maybe?

"I like to think of my goal as a lot more broad then that, I think that while perhaps silly sounding, my goal is to protect everyone from the dangers they can't see coming."

Riveria was once again surprised, but she couldn't help but let out another small smile. "In that case, be fearless, be vigilant, and don't give in to fe-"

"That ain't never gonna happen." That gruff annoyed sounding voice, it was obvious who that was. Thankfully Lefiya was able to resist the tears that threatened to fall out this time. "You can say whatever you want about potential and everything, but I refuse to be taken out by some wimp who's afraid of monsters. If you can't fight stay the h-"

This time it was Lefiya who interrupted. "It's nice to know you care Bete."

"You, what?"

"You were saying that if I'm afraid that I should stay away from the battlefield, thank you for worrying."

"Wait no, that's not what I-"

"But you don't need to worry about me." Lefiya grinned and Bete stood up, that grin of hers, he'd seen it on someone else before, but who…? "But you see, I've got a plan in place. In fact, I bet I'll even be level up pretty soon."

Bete scoffed. "Yeah right, whatever." He jumped off the tree, and started walking away. "Do whatever you want."

Riveria stared. "Lefiya?"

"Don't worry, I'll be fine, I'll make sure of it."

Riveria nodded. "Very well."

-l-l-l-l-l-l-l-l-l-l-l-

"Well Lefiya, here's what we have available." Lefiya stood inside the captain's tent, facing Finn and Gareth, with a table and several daggers on a table that was temporarily set up for this meeting. "It took us a little while but these were the best quality ones we had that weren't being used."

"Thank you captain." Lefiya was staring down at the different options. "I'd like a better one when we get back, but one of these will work for now." Lefiya said, picking up one of the daggers, and testing its weight.

"Now Lefiya, I understand your reasoning but I have a couple of questions if you don't mind. The first being, do you even know how to use one of these?"

Lefiya set the dagger down and tested out another, she nodded. "I'll take this one. And yes, although I'm not amazing at it, I've always been good at magic so that's the path I chose."

Finn appeared thoughtful. "I see, that makes sense. But why didn't you use one before."

Lefiya shrugged. "As irresponsible as it sounds, I just never thought about it." Well, sorta. Bell had taught her how to use a dagger, so obviously it wouldn't have occurred to her in the past.

Yes, she considered herself decent with a dagger, but she knew she was nothing compared to Bell. He was a master.

Suddenly they heard a scream, Raul. Lefiya's gaze narrowed, the plant monsters. Dang it Dionysus. "Lets go!"

Gareth and Finn looked at each other. "Very well." Finn said reaching for his spear while Gareth grabbed his axe.

Lefiya rushed out, taking out her staff. "Very well then Dungeon. Bring it on!"

As she ran Lefiya started chanting. Finn and Gareth, being much faster then her current self quickly caught up. "Looks like she has the right idea." Gareth said as they ran.

"Indeed, keep it up Lefiya, don't let us distract you." Finn said. "I'll rush ahead and inform everyone. Gareth, protect Lefiya."

"Got it, lets go kid!" Gareth said towards Lefiya.

Finn quickly rushed ahead, towards Tione, Tiona, Riveria, and Bete.

Once she stopped running the magic circle around her clearly formed, and Lefiya's chant got even longer and more complex, she needed to have enough power. Finally she nodded to Gareth. Thankfully he understood. "MOVE EVERYONE!" Everyone jumped away a dozens of large spears of fire moved towards the plant monsters, killing every last one of them quite thoroughly.

Lefiya smiled. Wow, she felt tired, she really needed to get stronger faster. She swayed slightly. "Gareth, can you catch me?"

The dwarf chuckled. "Sure. But man, that was some really impressive magic kid, I think even Riveria would have trouble running and chanting like you did."

"No, she'd just need to practice it, that's all." Then she fell back into the dwarfs arms. "Thanks."

Gareth pulled her back to her feet. "So how's the camp?" She asked.

Gareth frowned. "Doesn't look like we can go on, we took a lot of damage and there was a rockslide, doesn't seem safe to continue right now." Lefiya nodded, that was actually her intention, not that she'd tell anyone.

"Lefiya! Are you alright?" Tione was rushing towards them really fast.

Lefiya grinned and Tione suddenly froze. "I am now that I get to see your face Tione. Of course, I might feel a little bit better if I got to see you backside too."

Tione swore as Riveria walked towards Lefiya. "That was good magic. I'm impressed. Finn told me you were chanting while running?"

Lefiya nodded. "Yeah, its difficult to do, but with some practice, I'm sure I can master."

Riveria nodded. "Do you think, maybe I could try practicing with you?"

Lefiya smiled, a real smile. "Yeah, that'd be awesome."

Aiz watched curious. Lefiya had changed that much was obvious. But it was clear that Lefiya's change had made her more powerful. So, how could she change and become stronger?

-l-l-l-l-l-l-l-l-l-l-

Ah floor seventeen. Lefiya didn't care much for it, the only notable thing she remembered about it was that It had a lot of minotaurs. Of course, if she was right then this would be the place. She couldn't help but finger her dagger, she'd need it if she were to give a good impression. She still remembered Aiz and Bell telling the story. A minotaur.

"Lefiya." Lefiya looked up, taken out of her musings.

"Aiz?"

"You look agitated. Are you alright?"

"I think it'd be weird if I wasn't agitated, we're in the dungeon. Not exactly a safe place."

Aiz didn't seem to have a response to that. This was weird, what was wrong with her. "Are you okay?"

"What, oh yes. I'm fine."

It was obvious she wasn't but then… oh right. This was still the power obsessed, "I wanna kill the big bad dragon," Aiz.

Just as Lefiya was about to try and say something the walls cracked. Minotaurs, very well then. Lefiya took out her weapons, and while everyone was distracted by appearance of the monsters, rushed off. She needed to find the Little Rookie.

"Oh god's, it's a monster dinner party in here." Raul said with trepidation clear in his tone.

"These are all minotaurs." Aiz muttered.

"Well captain, what do we do?" Tiona asked Finn.

"We got this, take care of them quickly."

"Now your talking!" Tione said cheerfully almost dancing towards a minotaur. "~Are you ready!~" She said to it in an almost sing song voice. Before quickly kicking its face, killing it instantly.

After Tiona killed another the minotaurs ran away, running towards the upper floors.

"No!" Finn cried. "After them, we can't let them harm low level adventurers, don't let any of them get away."

Suddenly Aiz realized something. "Where's Lefiya!?"

Aiz and Bete were running together, their was only one more left. But they were also looking for Lefiya, wherever she had run off to she still hadn't shown up.

The two reached a split path and while Bete ran one way Aiz ran the other, she needed to find that minotaur. 'I thought their would be more adventurers down here. At least their won't be any losses.' Suddenly she heard a growl, and a scream. With a gasp she turned towards the sound and saw… a glimpse of orange hair?

Quickly pursuing she realized that it was Lefiya, and that she was chasing the minotaur with her staff and dagger out. Aiz made to speed up but suddenly Lefiya raised her staff and she saw her dagger glow a strange color. Enhancement magic? Suddenly Lefiya's speed quickly increased and just as the minotaur was about to crush a white haired boy Lefiya stabbed it in the back. Slashing downwards she created a massive gash where blood soaked out, then it blew up, spraying blood all over the white haired boy.

Lefiya stared down at the boy, as he with his eyes wide stared at her. Their was a silence as Lefiya stared awkwardly not sure what to say. "Are you alright?" Their we go, nice and safe right. Surely this couldn't get any more awkward. Lefiya almost blushed in embarrassment. 'C'mon its just Bell, you can do this.'

Lefiya walked towards Bell and offered her hand. "Can you stand?" Suddenly he started, crying? Then he stood up and ran away. Tripping cutely partway through before standing up and rushing past Aiz crying all the way.

Suddenly Bete appeared within her vision laughing crazily. "He ran away, what a joke. That guy, he looked like a freaking tomato! Ahahahahhahaha." Lefiya stared, and pouted. While Aiz watched on in disbelief.

Well, Lefiya wasn't sure how. But she just knew she'd somehow screwed her first impression up terribly.
