Howdy! So this is just me blowing off a bit a steam with a little one-shot esc project I worked on in my boredom today, after reading Hollis Writing's Chasing the Rabbit - which is absolutly wonderful and you should ALL read, and is also the universe in which this story is based in - I was feeling the craze and went ahead and pumped this puppy out to satisfy myself as I wait for the next chapter. Seriously, check the story out, it's AWESOME!

Anyway, here y'all go! Hope you like a little fun and fluff!

Midoriya just wasn't there during the weekends.

It was a fact that the class had learned, gossiped about, and come to accept and live with as they moved on to the next big thing in their lives. As was most things with high school drama, it was quickly forgotten in favor of the next best thing; like the fact that Kaminari had been caught by Aizawa trying to sneak out of Jirou's room at three in the morning, or the fact that it was well known that Kirishima was successful in doing just the same only a few nights before, only out of Ashido's room.

And so the fact that Midoriya wasn't on campus during the weekends was fairly easily passed over. Besides, it wasn't like they didn't see the young hero. If the class ever decided to get together, and he was able to - as in, wasn't dealing with the duties that came from his internship - he always met up with them. Without fail. Whether it be for a group trip to the mall, or a group study or training session - the second of which the class made sure to schedule during a time which the greenette was available, as his input was always amazing, and helped push them to that next level - Midoriya Izuku was always available to friends.

Especially when they were in need of help.

Which was exactly the situation now.

"Awww man, I knew we shouldn't have stayed out this late man," Sero rubbed the back of his head as he tiredly scanned the board of train departures, and found - once again - that, no dice, there was nothing until for at least another couple hours. "What are we supposed to do now?"

Kaminari scratched his head, his mouth curling into a frown as he shrugged, and Kirishima scrolled through his phone with a hint of something in his eye.

And then that something turned into a big something, as he turned to face them both with a beaming smile.

"I got it! We ask Midoriya to put us up for the night!" Raising his phone, the boys saw the 'ChatMap' - a feature that allowed for friends to find each other on an in app map - from the classes favored group chat app, HeroSnap. The map showed Midoriya's own icon only a few blocks away; something easily reachable by foot, and wouldn't take them long to get too.

A blessing for sure, considering it was raining outside. The group had taken refuge in the station after their late night escapades -which had started at the arcade, and had turned to ice cream and star gazing - was interrupted by storm clouds converging on the city.

"Freaking lets go! Lets text him!" Kaminari whipped out his phone, and prompted Sero to do the same. At the raise of the other teens eyebrow, the blonde rolled his eyes. "He's gonna be asleep, so we need to spam him to wake him up!"

"Then shouldn't we wait until we're there? Just so he doesn't have to be awake for as long? I know I'd be pissed if someone texted me like this and then made me wait up for them." Sero countered, and after a moment of deliberation, the trio took off towards Midoriya without alerting him - deciding that it was the manly thing to do. With them showing up the way they were, it was only proper that they let their potential host sleep as long as possible.

With the trio running as quickly as they could through the rain, and Kirishima guiding them with his ChatMap, the three eventually made their way to Midoriya's location - an unmarked building in the middle of town that made the three raise their eyebrows in confusion.

"I… Don't recognize this." Kirishima commented as he tilted his head in confusion, his two compadres mimicking him in their own confusion. "I've been to his mom's apartment before, and this wasn't it… Did they move?"

Moving to open the front door of the building, Kirishima tugged in vain - finding it locked - and looked back at his friends with a shrug.

"Huh, must have. Anyway," Kaminari whipped out his phone as he gave his two classmates one of his trademark grins - one of the ones that helped them understand what kind thing he was about to do, and what kind of thing that meant they were getting into - and gave them a thumbs up. With Sero taking out his own phone, the three gave each other one last look, before beginning their desperate gambit - Operation: Wake Midoriya the Fuck up so he can let us in, and get us out of the rain!

The three stood outside the locked door, huddeling under the overrhang as they sent texts to Midoriya non-stop, shivering voilently in the cold spring air. They had planned on taking turns calling him, going in a circle and starting with Kirishima, but their green haired classmate turned out to be a light sleeper, and answered at the second call.

"Hello!? Wha- What happened?!" Izuku's panicked tone almost made the blonde regret waking him up. He probably thought they were under attack or something.

"Hey! Mido! It's ok man, nothing shady is going on," Denki chuckled a bit, in that awkward kind of way that one did when they knew they were in trouble. "But um… You see, Kirishima, Sero and I were out kind of late and missed our train… And it's raining…"

Silence, but only for a moment.

"You're outside, aren't you."

"We are, yes."

A deep sigh, one that made Kaminari cringe a bit. Then some shuffeling and chatter on the other side as Midoriya talked with someone, probably his mom, before speaking into the phone once more.

"Ok, ok… I'm coming down to get you guys…" Some more sighing as the greenette uttered a quick goodbye and hung up, leaving the blonde reconsidering whether or not this was the best idea.

It only took about a minute for a shadow to pass over the tinted glass door, and Izuku - still in pajamas, or at least what his three classmates knew constituted for pajamas for their friend - opened the door, face plastered with a dead tired look that made all three of them feel bad for disturbing him.

"Hi guys," The young man yawned, waving them inside, "come on, you're gonna catch a cold."

"Thank you!" They all cried as they made their way inside… Only to find that the first level of the building was completely abandoned. Looking at each other with raised brows as their half asleep friend paved the way towards the stairs, motioning for them to follow him, the three each began feeling just a little more suspicious about just where they were.

The suspicion only increased when they passed by a couple more floors, all of which were completely darkened and abandoned, and skyrocketed when they passed what they knew to be some sort of office.

Even with the absolute trust they held in Midoriya, they couldn't help the thought that wandered through their minds.

Where are we?

"Ok, here you are," opening a door, Midoriya showed them a fairly spacious room with both a futon and a bed. "Futon folds out a bit, but one of you will still have to take the floor, unless you want to crash on the couch in the living room. Or share." The boy shrugged as he began trudging down the hall, towards the final door in the hallway they'd walked down. Giving a half hearted 'goodnight', all three of his friends knew they'd owe their cinnamon roll of a friend an apology the next day.

But that was for tomorrow, not tonight. So the three of them got comfortable, thanked whatever god made Midoriya for all the young man's kindness, and passed out.

The soft sounds of footsteps and life that came from outside their room prompted Kirishima upwards and out of the comforting embrace of deep sleep. Cracking his eyes open, he was nearly blinded by the light of dawn which fluttered in through the window, and fearfully checked his own phone for the time.

6:37

Midoriya… To be up so early… So manly.

A small smile on his face, the boy forced himself upwards. Stretching his back, he grabbed his shirt - which was thankfully dry - and pulled it on as he carefully made his way out the door, and away from his still sleeping friends.

Out the door, he made his way towards the sweet sounds of laughter that echoed quietly throughout the floor.

Midoriya's mom? Nah, sounds different…

Creeping around the corner of the hall, he peeked into the brightened living room and kitchen to investigate… And almost died then and there.

Hanging off of the boy with her eyes narrowed pleasantly - a soft look on her features that Kirishima didn't think she could possess - was the number 7 hero, Miruko. The two of them were standing to the side of the kitchen's island as they looked down at what was probably a tablet of some kind, drinking coffee as they read something together like some happily married couple.

"We're work partners." That's always his response to Mineta's… Mineta-ness, but…

More smiles and muffled laughter as Miruko thumped the greenette in the side for a comment he made, the red heads classmate only smiling at her for it. Then his eyes caught Kirishima's, and the young hero and training felt the need to hide.

"Ah, Kirishima! You're awake! I honestly didn't think any of you would be up," Midoriya scratched the back of his head as Miruko turned to face him as well.

"So this is one of the stooges who you had to crawl out of bed in the dead of night to rescue?" The women's voice echoed across the room with a sort of familiarity that made Kirishima shudder - the memories of last summer's training camp and her… Training, if you could call it that, still made phantom aches echo across his body.

"Yes! Um," Kirishima scratched the back of his head, feeling very unprepared for this situation. "Thank you, for putting us up for the night!" He bowed at the hip as low as he could go, "I hope we didn't disturb you two too much!"

The pro scoffed, rolling her eyes.

"Greenie woke up flailing and panicked that you three were in trouble, brat. Kinda too late for that apology." The rabbit hero sighed, and as Kirishima looked upwards towards the pair once again, he caught her giving his classmate a look that screamed 'you owe me'. "Whatever… You're Izuku's friend, so it's fine." Picking up her mug and the tablet the two had been reading from, she shuffled over to the table which sat off to the left side of the kitchen and made herself comfortable.

Chuckling, Midoriya gave him a smile before moving behind the island and dipping down into the cupboards to retrieve a pan. His classmate smiled and bid him to sit as he poured the redhead some coffee - black, just how he knew Kirishima liked it - and began preparing breakfast.

Sitting in relative silence, the young hero began drowning in awkwardness as he sat next to the number 7 hero - who Izuku apparently lived with during the weekends, go figure - and felt at a loss as to what they should talk about. Ever his savior however, Izuku started up the conversation once again as he began breaking eggs into a bowl.

"So Kirishima! What were you three doing out so late last night that you missed the last train?" There was a smile in his eyes as he asked, and he caught Miruko's ears twitch from where she sat to his left.

"Oh uh, boys night. The usual," Kirishima shrugged, taking a long drag of his coffee to hopefully jump start his brain before continuing, more for Miruko's sake than Midoriya's. "Arcade and ice cream. But ice cream ran long cause we started talking about some pretty manly stuff, so once they closed we went to a park to stargaze."

"And then the rain?" Izuku asked.

"And then the rain," Kirishima laughed, "Before we knew it we'd missed the last train. I found you on ChatMap and thought it was your house so…" The redhead shot a side look to Miruko, before looking back to Izuku. His silent question hung in the air like smoke as he looked to his friend for an answer.

"Well, I mean…" Izuku looked thoughtful for a moment, "It's technically Rumi's place, not mine, but I live here on weekends so… I guess you weren't technically wrong?"

What the…!

"Midoriya, bro!" Kirishima cried, shocked, "How have you never told us this!?"

"Umm," The young man's head cocked in legitimate confusion, "What do you mean, this?"

"You and Miss Miruko!" Kirishima knew he was dense sometimes, but come on. "You two are together?! And you didn't tell us?"

The greenette looked pensive for a moment, eyes drifting to Miruko as she met his gaze halfway, before they both looked back to him.

"Well… I mean,"

"WHHAAAAAT!" Kaminari's voice tore through the floor as he and Sero came barreling into the room, both looking shell shocked as they gazed upon the inhabitants within.

Midoriya sighed, and Kirishima flinched backwards as the tablet in Miruko's hand was flung across the room towards the pair. Cracking against Kaminari's head, it ricocheted off of him and struck Sero as well, sending them both crashing to the ground.

"No yelling in THE MORNING!" The pro screamed, Izuku only shaking his head as he moved to collect his incapaciteted friends.

Once all of them had been safely and comfortably settled at the table, and Izuku had finished up breakfast - allowing for the two young men to regain the consciousness that had been stolen from them by flying tablets and rabbit heros - the trio of boys looked to their green haired friend for answers.

"Listen, it's like I was saying. We're not, technically, 'together'" Midoriya held up his hands to form quotation marks, Miruko nodding along next to him as she began digging into the food that the others had yet to touch.

A moment of silence, as the other three UA students shared a look.

"So, you're together, but it's lowkey, cause she's a pro and you're still in school?" Sero asked, though it was phrased as more of a comment.

"Well… No. But…" Midoriya looked stumped, like he couldn't find the words he was looking for.

"We're simple." Miruko commented, joining the conversation and helping the boys remember that she was right there. "That's the best way to explain it." Reaching out, she grabbed Izuku's hand, gaze softening as she did so. "We don't really talk about what we are. In fact, this is the closest thing to a conversation I think we've ever had on the subject. We just… Are… What we are."

More quiet as Kirishima noticed the ever subtle dusting of red that crossed the pro's features.

"That's…" Kirishima looked down, gathering his thoughts, before exploding upwards, grin as wide as it could be. "SO MANLY!"

"I mean… Ya? I get it." Kaminari sighed, his own eyes softening. "I sorta have a thing like that going on with Jirou. We haven't talked about it, but we both know we have feelings for each other. It's like this," he reached out, clenching his first at nothing. "Unspoken… Thing."

"Right." Miruko retrieved her hand and took another drink from her mug, "Like that."

"Okkk… Well," Sero laughed, "At least we know where to find you if there's an emergency! Instead of wasting time going to your moms, we can just come here."

Izuku laughed, scratching the back of his head as Miruko snorted.

"Ya. Now you know where to find me if you need me, or get stuck out in the rain again cause you missed your train."

"Ha, like this is gonna happen again," Kaminari laughed, "We're not that dumb."

"It happened again."

"I know, and I even said-"

"Ya, I know, which makes it worse."

"What are you guys talking about?" Kirishima turned to face Ashido and Jirou, the two who were now stuck with them in this situation. Late night double dates? The worst. Bad idea, bad bad baaaad idea.

Especially now that I know, via Mido-bro, that Miruko and him go to bed pretty freaking early.

Especially especially since apparently, the two sleep together-

Not in that way, at least not yet, according to Mido-bro

-and Miruko does not like being woken in the middle of the night.

"Remember when we got stuck bunking with Midoriya a while back, cause we missed the train?"

"Yaaaa…"

"Oh."

"Ya, well, get ready for a... Surprise." Kirishima laughed as he shot Midoriya a text, hoping it would wake him and he'd be able to escape his bed without waking the terrifying pro hero he shared it with.

A thumbs up was his friend's response.

Sweet.

"Um, Kiri, what's that supposed to mean?"

"Kiri, what is that supposed to mean?!"

"You'll see Ashido, you'll see. Just... Prepare yourself," Kirishima laughed again, although this time it was laced with just a bit of fear at the stray thought that passed through his mind.

What if Miruko answers the door instead of Izuku?

The red head shook his head, trying to wipe the waking nightmare from his mind.

No, no, there's no way that would happen. No way.

20 minutes and an irritated looking rabbit hero later, and Kirishima was cursing whoever it was that invented movie streaming, because somehow they had to be responsible for date nights and late night snuggles where green haired friends pass out in their terrifying 'girlfriend not-girlfriends' lap, leading to said 'girlfriend not-girlfriend' being the one to answer Kirishima's text with a thumbs up, and then the door to their building not ten minutes later.

"Haha," Kirishima bowed at the waist towards the irritated hero, feeling his girlfriend tense up behind him at the sight of her, "Thank-"

"Just get in here brat," Miruko yawned, "You know where the guest room is."

So manly.
