Derelict Warehouse, Shinjuku Ghetto
C.C.'s perspective
She couldn't believe what she was seeing, and neither could the man that had 'rescued' her from the hands of the foolish fop that is Prince Clovis la Britannia, but the reason for her shock was completely different than his.
In his case, it was the fact that a woman who could pass of as Clovis' rebellious twin had just wiped out the royal guard like it was nothing, but for the Immortal Witch that was C.C. her shock came from the manner in which said guard was eliminated, in other words, the 'abilities' that she and her companion displayed.
It was something both similar and completely different than what she was used to seeing, for the only supernatural powers in the world, as far as she knew or was even aware of, were the powers of Geass that she and a few others could bestow unto others, and even THEN said powers were limited to either illusions and even mind-control. To make a long-story short, the powers that she was familiar with were limited to psychological abilities of the mind that affected other minds, hers not included given her immunity, but the abilities that these two displayed were actually PHYSICAL in nature and could affect other things as well, and seeing as she could also make out what was done to the guards she suspected that they could affect her as well. [1]
But the things that caught her attention the most, besides the skills displayed by their rescuers, even more than the fact that one of them looked like the very fop that held her prisoner and even confirmed that her dream from a few nights ago wasn't a dream, was the very feeling that these two seemed to give off. It was like nothing that she had ever felt before, especially when she tried to compare it to the feeling she got from a fellow Immortal or even a contractor (current and/or possible). It was a strange yet almost familiar feeling, for it felt like that of a Geass and yet the opposite at the same time. When she thought of trying to look deeper into it, she suddenly felt like 'something' inside her wanted to get her to forget about it, almost like it was scared and wanted to get as far away from those two as possible. [2]
She quickly brushed it off believing that it was the result of some sort of survival instinct that she thought died long ago when she received her curse. As such, despite the constant insistence of something inside of her telling her to get as far away from them as possible, she began thinking of how to approach them with the intention of learning more about their 'abilities'. Though it seemed that she didn't have to do much as it seemed that they were already doing so.
"Hey princess! As much fun as it is to see you perform one of your overly dramatic scenes, we are on a schedule here, not to mention that we have to do something about these two." The brown-haired girl said to the older woman like she'd done this before, "Great, now I'm starting to sound like that idiot in glasses." She then said to herself with a bit of a crestfallen look like her world had come to an end.
"Which idiot in glasses are you talking about? The childish one or the hyperactive one?" the woman who looked like Clovis' rebellious twin asked as she turned around to address her younger companion.
"The green-haired hyperactive one, you know the one that keeps on drinking coffee from that seemingly ALWAYS full thermos?" the young lighting wielder answered while also adding in a few extra details to see if her companion remembered the guy she was talking about.
"Ahh! Yes, THAT guy, I know what you mean. How does he manage to keep drinking coffee without making himself hyper-enough to disappear from existence I'll never know." The older one replied, both confirming that she knew of the man while also making it clear that he was quite the odd individual.
"Is that really possible, or did you just get that image from one of those old late-night cartoons that you like to watch?" the younger girl then asked with a bit of sass in her voice.
"Shut up! I was only saying that, with the amount that he seems to gulp down on a daily basis, it should have happened by now." Snapped back the older woman with her cheeks red with embarrassment, "And what about you? Have you and that boy you hang out with often FINALY made it official?" she then retuned a seemingly personal question back with a bit of mirth in her voice.
The younger girls turned bright red at that, to the point of making it seem like steam would come out of her ears, "I-I-I-I-I don't know what you're talking about! And wipe that smile off your face!" she then stuttered out.
"Whatever you say~." Was the older woman's reply in a bit of a singsong voice that could even let a blind man know that the smile never faded from her face.
To say that the two of them were baffled by the sight and sound of what was happening in front of them would be an understatement. Here they were, in the middle of what could only be described as a slaughter, with a bunch of corpses stinking up the place and not only were they greeted with the sight of a living lightning-rod and what could pass as Prince Clovis' twin, but said people were not only mildly affected by the carnage both in front and around them, but they were also ok enough to fool around and take cracks at each other.
It was quite the sight to behold, if she was being honest with herself, it isn't every day that one gets to see an Imperial royal, who are known for being the greatest example of what egocentric narcissists are like, being friendly with a member of the very people that SHOULD be below them. if anyone were to hear of this, they would just up and laugh at her, call her a liar, and then state that the moment something like that happens is the moment when pigs learn to fly. [3]
"Alright, enough with the banter and let's get moving. We're already behind schedule." The younger one then states, wanting to get whatever mission they were on done with, while also making it clear that she was done wasting time. A few seconds later she suddenly stopped and then held her head down in a depressed matter that made one think that she believed the world was going to end. "Great, now I REALLY am starting to sound like that idiot."
"Yeah yeah, still my beating heart. Just come here and help me out with these two." The older woman said while shrugging off her companion's words of misery like she had heard this before a million times. She then reached out for C.C. in the hopes of helping her, and when they clasped hands…
"AAAHHH", "AAAHHH", they both cried out in shock from the sudden feeling like they had just touched something that shouldn't have been touched.
After the sudden shock C.C. looked at her hand with a puzzled expression, for this was the first time that she had ever felt something like this. Her plan was to use the brief physical contact to perform a 'scan' of the Clovis 'lookalike', but instead of that all that she got was a sudden sense of dread/fear run up her spine. Something that she had not experienced since before she was cursed a long time ago.
What made it even more disturbing was the fact that said feelings of dread/fear that she had felt weren't hers to begin with. I fact it was something that she herself couldn't quite describe, which left her both perplexed and worried, another emotion she thought she had lost a long time ago. Especially when, if she were to try to put it into words that even an idiot could understand, it felt like the one being afraid wasn't she herself, but rather the CURSE itself that as afraid and was practically SCREAMING at her to get as far away from those two as possible. [4]
"Well, that was something." The woman who took her hand just stated, apparently just as perplexed as her, but doing much better than her.
"What happen? Did she do something 'funny' to you?" the younger girl asked in a worried voice, "Cause if she did, then I believe that she is in need of being taught a lesson." She then commented how she thought that C.C. needed to be dealt with should it be revealed that she was a threat to the two of them. she was even sparking of in conjuncture to her threat.
"No, it's OK, just a little surprised is all. But I do wonder if this is what she meant by 'Finding something connected to the {Old Lost Gods}' that she mentioned before we came here". The older woman just brushed off the attempt at defending her by the young lightning wielder, showing that all she felt was a small bit of surprise. But the things that REALLY caught C.C.'s attention was the comment she made later, especially the way she said the {Old Lost Gods}. The way she said that gave C.C. the feeling that the {Gods} that she knew and the {Old Lost Gods} the Clovis lookalike was talking about were one in the same, but that was simply impossible. [5]
"{Old Lost Gods}? What are you talking about?" the young girls asked in a confused manner like she didn't know what her companion was talking about. And then, with a look of sudden realization, she said something that completely shocked C.C., "OH! When you say she do you mean Cera? Now that I think about it, she does kinda look like her Yeah that girl can be pretty weird at times. Like that time when she actually STOLE her husband's mech JUST for the sake of making giant pizza! PIZZA for crying out loud!" she then exclaimed both in realization and exasperation for the antics of the woman she and her companion were apparently acquainted with.
While the thought of eating a giant pizza was rather enthralling for her, it was the fact that they even aid her NAME that gave her the biggest shock out of all the things that has happened here. For not only was that name something that she threw away the moment she became immortal, but it was also something that she wouldn't just give out to anybody unless she trusted them quite a bit (meaning that it was something that should've never been revealed, considering that she only ever got close to people as a means to try and rid herself of her curse).
It also served as the final nail in the coffin that proved that her dream from a few nights ago was indeed real, meaning that THAT which she and a few rare other had thought to be impossible is finally going to happen.
The world that they all had thought to be forever stagnant is FINALLY going to once again start to move. [6]
"Yeah, that was quite the sight. Even to this day, that guy still hasn't managed to live it down, especially when everyone keeps giving him grief over it." the older woman then laughs at the man in question's misery like it was the funniest thing in the world, and going by the smiles on both of their faces, it probably was. "Pizza was good though." She then states after gaining a more thoughtful expression.
The statement, however, just makes C.C. jealous.
Before anymore could be said, a dark-grey and purple Sutherland came in through the hole in the building, its assault rifle held at the ready to fire when deemed necessary. It activated its Factsphere Sensor and a moment later, a voice boomed out from its external speakers.
"What happened here? Who are you? You'd better respond, or else I'll treat you like you're in cahoots with the terrorists!" the pilot, and a female one at that, asked while aiming her Knightmare's rifle at them.
The resulting reactions varied from person to person. The Eleventh male looked like it would be his end, which is reasonable when one takes into consideration the fact that he was just a small human facing a near 4 and a half tall weapon of mass destruction. For C.C., she was over it, due to her {Curse of Immortality} even if the pilot decided to use her Frame to squash her underfoot, it would only be a matter of time before she sprung back as though nothing had happened (not to mention the fact that she had already experienced what being 'flattened' to death was like).
It was the reactions of the other two, or rather their lack of thereof that had once again piqued her interest in the two. Unlike with the Eleventh male that had a look like his live was going to end soon, the two women from seemingly another world just looked at the Knightmare with an air of curiosity as well as what she could only describe as a mix between both constructive and artistic criticism, like they were trying to look at it the same way that someone looks at a painting. The older one at least, the younger one was looking like she was inspecting a car at a local car sale.
"So? What do you think?" after a while, the younger girl finally asked.
"If you were to ask me, I'd think that I find nothing but disappointment in this machine. Mass-produced though they may be, at the very least the Manueverblades and Pailmails that I've see the rest of my family use on occasion have more personality than what I'm currently starring at. Even my brother's Ikaruga has more individuality than this lump of scrap. If this hunk of wasted metal is all that these people have to offer, then I'm afraid that it wouldn't even be a contest."
The older woman then responds to the question like she was an art critic giving a painting a failing grade. Said action only brought looks of both shock and confusion to those present. And giving the silence that was even being generated by the Frame, the same could be said about its pilot.
"Your aesthetics and eccentric-ism aside, I have to admit that you are rather correct when it comes to it not even being a competition in matters of looks. They appear to have a bit more armor than some of our machines, but they also seem to be quite lacking in terms of both mobility and versatility. And please don't bring up your brother's mech here, we both know that the moment THAT thing shows up, it'll be nothing but a slaughter."
The younger one then responds in an exasperated sigh at the older woman's eccentric behavior while also throwing in her own cents on the matter of how the Knightmare might fare against the machines that they had mentioned. Though she herself may not have much of an interest in the workings of the world, she did have to admit that the mere mention of a machine capable of making Sutherlands, the current 'top-of-the-line' machine of the Empire, seem like a waste of money did make her curious. [7]
The same, however, could not be said about said machine's pilot, who had heard just about everything they were saying.
"What nerve you must have not only talk amongst yourselves like I'm not even here, but to also sprout such nonsense in front of a KNIGHT of the Empire! Such audacity must be punished with DEATH!" the pilot roared in outrage at the fact that not only was she ignored, but also at the fact that they were talking about her mech, the prime example of her nation's technical superiority, like it was a used car. To say that she didn't take it well would've been an understatement, especially when she started to prepare to turn all of those present into pieces of abstract art with her rifle. All of those present, even C.C. herself, expected that the two outsiders would've been turned into just another addition to the currently growing pile of bodies that appeared to be amassing in the ghettos.
But what happened next, surprised them all once again.
"Urggh, such unrefined screeching. Can't you see that we are TRYING to have a conversation here?" the older woman just grunted and asked in annoyance like the Knightmare was just a bunch of rowdy cats having a loud fight, "If you're going to be a disturbance, then kindly be so somewhere else!" she then finishes her little rant while brandishing her katana and, in one swift swing, slices off the top part of the Knightmare as easily as a hot knife through butter.
To say that everyone present, even the pilot, who somehow by what seems like sheer luck managed to come out unscaved, were shocked by her frightening display of both power and skill would have been the same as saying that the sky was green. C.C. herself had seen this very same woman take out the Prince's royal guard like it was nothing so at the very least the immortal knew that she was skilled with a blade, but even SHE didn't think that said same skill could be used, or even be all that would be needed, to take out a robot the size of a small house.
"HHMM, now that the annoyance has been taken care of, shall we return to what we were discussing a moment ago?" after sighing in satisfaction, the Clovis lookalike then brushed the whole thing off like it was no big deal and tried to once again continue her conversation with her younger companion. [8]
"I don't think that'll be necessary, your highness. From what we've just experienced, we alone will be enough to take care of them." the younger girl replied while also stating that the Knighmares would do no less than act ad an annoyance to them.
"I see. Well then, let us be off! We have business to take care of and people to save, don't we!?" the older woman then declared as if it were the most obvious thing in the world.
"Judging by the sounds coming off from outside, I guess that's true." The younger girl then agrees with her, only to then spare a glance to the others in the building, "Before that though, what do we do with these guys?" she then jerks her thumb back at everyone, even the knight who had just stayed there completely shocked by what had just happened to her mech to even utter a single word, not that the others were any different.
"I noticed a small flight of stairs down by the back of the building, let's leave them there for the moment. At the very least, they won't get hurt." The older woman nonchalantly responds.
"OK, if you say so." Was all the young girl said before she helped her companion get them all back down the stairs that had lead C.C. and the Eleventh terrorist into the building.
After they had made sure that no further danger would fall unto them, the two 'super-humans' left to handle the situation outside. Leaving C.C. and the other two ma moment's reprieve to collect themselves.
Then, after what seemed like an eternity, the man spoke.
"Was I dreaming, or did all of that ACTUALLY happen just now?" he asked them with a small amount of disbelieve in his voice, like he was having difficulty getting a clear grasp of what had just happened to them and wanted a second opinion just to make sure that he hadn't gone crazy from all the excitement and dreamed up the whole thing.
"No, you weren't dreaming. I saw the same thing." After a moment's silence, C.C. decided to speak as well, if not for the sole purpose of breaking the uncomfortable atmosphere that had started to build-up around them.
"OH! Good… at the very least I can take a small bit of comfort with the knowledge that I'm not hallucinating or going crazy. Hehehe." He laughed a bit weekly at the end, a clear sign that he wasn't at all relieved.
The silence continued and eventually they all decided that they've had enough for a day and just moved and went their separate ways, the shock of what they had just witnessed causing them to forget about what was happening around them as they just walked off in a daze.
By the time that they had regained their senses and were aware of where they were going or even where they were, the fighting had already come to an end. [9]
A.S.E.E.C.C. Trailer, Britannian Temporary Shinjuku Ghetto Command
Suzaku's perspective
Suzaku Kururugi was lost in dreams of the time before the Britannian invasion, of when he spent his time with Lelouch and Nunnally at the Kururugi Shrine, laughing and playing together, of the good old days back when everything was OK with the world.
Then, as if not unlike a radio picking up another signal on the same frequency, the scene changed to that of the two of them, dressed in nothing but training shorts with sweat glistening their skin, training swords at the ready and sparring with one another under the watchful gaze of Sensei Kyōshirou Tōdō as they went at each other with large smiles on each other's faces.
This both surprised and confused Suzaku because 1) he doesn't remember this ever happening and 2) because the Lelouch that HE remembered did everything he could to AVOID physical training. Just as he was going to question what he was seeing, the 'memory' of the raven-haired boy thrusted his hand out to him and released a blast of dark energy that was not only impossible, but also enough to force him back into consciousness. [10]
"SO, are we having a bad day?!" came an unusually cheery and obnoxiously loud male voice from above him. Suzaku's eyes snapped open in response.
He was in a room, colored in neutral tones of grey and cream. The source of the voice leaning over him, with a wide, childlike grin on his face. He wore large glasses, had short lavender hair, and was dressed in a white, floor-length lab coat, with an armband.
Next to him was a woman wearing an orange-tan and black uniform. She had kind, pale-blue eyes, and shoulder length indigo hair. She seemed to be holding something in a handkerchief.
"W-Where…?" Suzaku croaked out, his throat as dry as a desert.
Nonchalantly, the man handed him a flask of water as the woman explained that they were still in the Shinjuku Ghetto, right next to the G-1 mobile command fortress of Prince Clovis, so theoretically they were as safe as anyone could be in the ghetto at the moment.
He slowly drank the water with gratitude.
"You've missed your chance to go to heaven, Private Kururugi." The man teased him.
He then noticed the that he had bandages wrapped around his abdomen, as well as becoming aware of a minor pain where his kidney was located on his right side.
"this is what saved your life, Suzaku." The woman leaned forward and showed him what was in her handkerchief.
Suzaku's eyes widened. It was his father's pocket watch!
"You are VERY lucky that it was hanging under your body armor at JUST the right angle to deflect the bullet." The odd man lackadaisically said.
"I can't believe that my father's memento saved me…" Suzaku said, somewhat dazed by the revelation.
"You Elevens believe that gods live in everything, even inanimate objects, don't you? Looks like this one was…oh, what was the name? ah, yes! A so-called Guardian Spirit?" the man mused to himself, somewhat amused by the concept of spirits.
Suzaku the asked for an update on the situation in the ghetto and was horrified by their reply: a mass-slaughter of the inhabitants, due to the resistance fighters mingling among them (Or so they were told).
'More lives lost, more senseless slaughter!' He tought in horror. 'Why are they resisting? If they just work within the system, no one would've needed to die! I don't understand them…'
'How galling! You speak of not understanding them, and you're correct. While they could've gone about it in a better way, the fact remains that resisting was, or rather, is the only option left to them. they fight because they have both something that they want to protect AND something that they don't wish to let go of. Something that YOU, someone so gullible that you'd even fall for an obvious farce, WOULDN'T understand.'
After it had said it peace, the voice just went silent, causing Suzaku to suddenly look around the room like he had just lost sight of a ghost and was trying to find it again, something that had the other two puzzled. That is until the weird man came to the conclusion that he was still recovering, and this was just him trying to brush of the aftereffects. [11]
Overhearing the explanation, Suzaku couldn't find it in himself to say otherwise, mostly because h himself thought that it was probably the correct assumption. Especially when the voice that suddenly decided to both disagree with and berate him was using his own VOICE to do so. Regardless of whether or not it was real or just his head messing with him, that small rant didn't sit right with him.
Before he could delve deep into the matter, Suzaku was both broken out of his musings and floored by the offer that came next: to pilot an experimental Knightmare Frame in order to bring a quick resolution to the conflict, once they had the Prince's permission.
'What should I do?' Suzaku wondered.
With Kallen
Kallen's perspective
Kallen was angry. Hell, she was absolutely enraged. Her people were being slaughtered like cattle, and it was partly (totally if the voice she kept hearing in her head was arguing) her fault!
"Murdering Britannian bastards!" Kallen snarled as she used her Glasgow's one remaining Slash Harken to destroy a Britannian tank that had just gunned down a group of Shinjuku residents.
"Kallen!" Ohgi's voice yelled from her radio. "Can the Glasgow still move?" he sounded quite stressed and panicky, not much of a surprise in this situation.
"Don't worry, Ohgi! I'll run decoy; you get everyone else out! The only ones to be caught will be use resistance fighters!" she called back.
"It's not as easy as that! We're pinned down and they have us completely surrounded!" Ohgi replied.
'Please…if any God exist…make a miracle for us…I'm begging you…' Kallen silently pleaded as she moved on to another target.
Somewhere in the ghetto
Third-person perspective
Traversing the ruins of the once proud and lively streets of Shinjuku, the two 'visitors from out of town' were moving at an accelerated pace, much faster than a normal human but still just enough to bare keep up with a car on the highway. While they were making their way to the root of this problem, they were dispatching any hostiles that tried to get in their way. Emphasis on the word try.
"Yees! He wasn't kidding when he said that they'd even slaughter an entire derelict and barely held together ghetto." Mikoto said as they both she and her companion continued to traverse the ruined landscape in search for their target while dealing with all the soldiers attacking the civilians.
To say that the sight filled them with revulsion would have been putting it mildly. Even with the warnings that they've received from 'him' they weren't fully prepared for the sight that they are beholding right this moment. [12]
If someone where to ask what the difference between a massacre and a slaughter would look like, then the sight before the two girls would have served as the perfect answer. There were many men in uniform, from foot soldiers wielding rifles and even flamethrowers to tanks and even robots shooting, blasting and even running over or even stepping on innocent civilians ranging from elderly to even children who could barely even fight back. [13]
It was a gruesome sight, one that made them understand why 'he' wanted to have nothing to do with this place. That is other than being the one who puts a bullet through the skull of the very person responsible for this mess, something that they wanted to do as well, even the {Railgun}, who doesn't like to dish out bloodshed when it was unavoidable, felt that she herself wouldn't be able to sleep well without finding said person and showing him just how is was that she had come to earn her nickname.
"This truly is quite the horrid sight to behold. It would be best for us to go our separate ways to deal with this more effectively." The older woman, who also found this image to be unacceptable, suggested to her younger companion.
With a silent nod of approval, they both went their separate ways. In one direction, several jolt of lightning could be both seen and heard, along with the screams of soldiers shrieking their last as they're given the greatest shock of their lives, while in the other direction, one would both see and hear the screams of pain and terror as soldier after soldier either died from having heir limbs severed or were incased in blocks of ice.
One thing was certain, many were going to die on this day, and the survivors would forever tremble in fear while having nightmares of the events that transpired on this day. Especially of the two women who would forever be know by the surviving soldiers as the 'Demon Sisters of Ice and Lightning'.
Thirty minutes later
With Kallen
Kallen struck down another VTOL with her one remaining Slash Harken, when she heard a familiar voice chuckle from a loudspeaker.
"Well, well, if it isn't our Glasgow friend." Kallen paled at the knowledge of where she had heard that voice before and made her damaged Frame speed off. As she did, she saw in the rear camera that the place she had just occupied had been strewn with bullets from an Assault Rifle.
"You've led me on a merry chase, but no mere Eleven can escape Jeremiah Gottwald!" The Sutherland carrying the self-identified Jeremiah Gottwald was in pursuit of her, another was on his flank. To make matters worse, her Frame's Energy Filler, the only thing powering her Knightmare, was down to a mere thirty minutes of power. Once that guage hit zero, Kallen Kōzuki was dead.
As she ran through the ruins of the ghetto, trying her best to lose her pursuers, she then saw something on her screen that filled her with worry.
In front of her, right in the path she was running in, she saw a girl no older than a middle schooler walking around as if looking for something. Said girl stopped her search when she noticed the red machine running from two other purple ones on her tail. The sight of which caused Kallen nothing but terror at the possibility of yet another innocent civilian getting hurt because of her.
"Get away from there! RUN!" Kallen screamed at the girl through her loudspeaker, hoping that the girl would move and be saved from the death that was approaching her.
Imagine Kallen's surprise when, instead of heeding her words, the girl only smirked. The smirk on her face was that of a person who had just found what they were looking for.
The girl in question then dug into her pocket looking to fish something out, and she brought out was a small coin the size of an average arcade token. She then flipped the coin into the air and waited for it to come back down.
As she was getting closer to the girl, Kallen began to panic as she saw what the girl was doing, thinking that the terror of incoming death was making her delirious. She was beginning to think of a way to try and safe the girl until she saw lighting starting to surge around her. Her surprise and bewilderment was quickly cut off when she felt the hairs at the back of her neck begin to stand straight upon catching sight of the girl's satisfactory smirk turn into a blood-thirsty grin, the type one would get when victory was just a push of a button away.
Trusting her instincts, she maneuvered her Frame away just as the flipped coin began to come back down into her hand. When the two Sutherlands saw this, they were confused by the sudden action and were hoping to take advantage of it. That is until the one identified as Jeremiah Gottwald also felt like something was of and, without having time to warn his companion, did the same thing as the Glasgow, just as the coin finally reached the girl's closed fist with her thumb prepped for another flick.
And then it happened, something that would forever be etched into their minds for days to come. It went by so fast that they barely had time to register what had happened along with whether or not it really had happened or if it was just the excitement of the day's events finally taking its toll and making them see things.
They both heard and felt the crack of thunder along with the booming reverberation that spread through the area along with being able to feel it in their very bones. A blinding yellow streak like a laser was shot off from where the coin had been in the girl's hand and when it impacted the other Sutherland that hadn't even noticed it, the result was utter obliteration.
The two remaining pilots were left speechless from what they had just bore witness to. The one identified as Jeremiah Gottwald was shocked by the fact that what he thought were a bunch of lowly Elevens who couldn't pull out anything other than the barely held together Glasgow had just used a weapon with great destructive capabilities to utterly decimate his partner in one shot, he then began to work out a plan to not only find the weapon and disable it, but also to bring it back with his and find out just HOW they had managed to get their hands on it.
Kallen on the other hand was left with her mind practically shutting down from the scene of a girl, whom she thought would be another unfortunate victim of the mess that she and her group had started, use lightning as a means to turn a mere coin into a WMD with a simple flick of a finger and even turn a Sutherland, one of the best Frames of the Empire, into nothing but molten scrap. Quickly remembering where she was, she then snapped herself out of her daze and tried to come up with ideas on how to not only have this girl help her fix this mess, but also on how to recruit her, believing that with her help she and her group could finally fulfil her dead brother's dream of a Japan free from Britannia.
What neither of them realized was that the sound of the {Railgun} being fired was heard from the entire area and even spreading until it could even be faintly heard in the Ashford Academy in the Tokyo Settlement. Many of those who had heard it though that it was either the sign of incoming rain or of a coming storm. What they didn't know at that time was just how right they were.
And that's the official third chapter, I hope that you like it. sorry for the wait, but many things happened, the virus and my family getting on my nerves being among them. I love them very much, but they too need to learn not to bother someone so much, especially when all they want is some alone time to relax.
Now for the questions:
[1] For those of you who've watched the CG canon, you would know that not only is Geass a very limited form of telepathy, but also one that is completely ineffective against Code Bearers like C.C.
[2] What she's feeling right now is not from her, but rather from her Code, I'll leave things here for the moment so as to not bring about spoilers.
[3] If there was ANYTHING that one could get out of Code Geass is the fact that the series itself is much more of a dark tragedy meant to ruin Lelouch's life, so I decided to ad a bit of comedy into it. both for the purpose of making things lighter AND to show the difference between the worlds (like the royals thinking that others should be under their feet in canon).
[4] Again, due to the risk of spoilers, I wont reveal anything. Just know that Geass and the 'Power of Humanity' don't mix.
[5] This is a reference to what will be discussed in the future, something that will determine the fate of both worlds.
[6] This was a combination of both comedy writing and canon, though what happened in canon ended in failure. It also served as a means to let C.C. know that the time for acting things were none of her business was over.
[7] For those that recognized those names, I applaud you. Yes, since Code Geass and Gunslinger Stratos have mechas in them I decided to add in other mechs from other anime, though I'll only use the ones that'll work for either of he two worlds, but I'm willing to add any suggestions that you may have and put in the reviews.
[8] As you may have noticed, not only did I make Clover's appearance based out of Yusuke, but her behavior and personality as well.
[9] If you didn't understand what had happened in there, let's just say that just about almost EVERYTHING that they'd thought impossible happened right in front of their very eyes and shattered what they thought they knew of the world. And, in the not so far off future, they world will only continue to be shaken to its very foundation.
[10] Though it was for a brief moment, what Suzaku just saw was a glimpse of what his other self experienced.
[11] Similar to Kallen, it varies from person to person, but there will be times when one ends up getting in sync with their doubles.
[12] Things in Stratos were bad, but when compared to canon Code Geass, they are mild by comparison. And for those of you who which to ask who 'He' is, you either already know or will find out in the future.
Well, that's it for this chapter, again I apologize for the wait and will do my best to give you more soon. I'm also happy to announce that some authors have allowed me to adopt their stories and I'll be working on them when I have the time. I will also be starting other stories that are either crossovers or simple AU's of series that I believe could have been done better. I'll start a poll of which stories I'll try to take a crack at and would like for you to vote. As for what they are or will be, the materials are amongst my favorites.
Till next time, this is Vein Bloodborne signing off!
