Disclaimer: Don't own Harry Potter or Star Wars

AN: Hello, this is an alternate version of my previous story, the Galactic Warriors. Reading that is not necessary to understand this story. I'm not abandoning the first version, although it will be a while before I update it. Hope you enjoy the prologue/first chapter!

The world was ending. Or at least that's what everyone was saying. Harry ran his hand through his unruly black hair and sighed. After the Voldemort had been killed and the war ended, he had hoped that they would have peace. Damn Rodolphus and Rabastan Lestrange. He really wished he had been the one to kill them, but Neville had deserved the honor of doing so, especially considering that they had killed the rest of his family in an attack on Longbottom Manor on top of torturing his parents into insanity. At least they had suffered for it, because thanks to them, a nuclear war had broken out, and it was slowly destroying all life on Earth.

The Lestranges had imperiused the Russian president, Vladimir Putin, into ordering a nuclear attack on New York City, London, Hogwarts, and Paris, killing billions and starting WW3 three years after the Battle of Hogwarts. They had intended for the Muggles to start killing each other siince they realized that they didn't have the ability to wipe them all out themselves. Many good people had died from the effects of nuclear radiation and the bombings themselves, including the entire staff and student body of Hogwarts and almost everyone that lived in Hogsmeade. The Ministry of Magic and Diagon Alley had been destroyed a week later when London had been hit.

Molly, Arthur, and Charlie Weasley had been killed in a subsequent Death Eater raid led by Antonin Dolohov and Trewmain Travers on the Burrow. Ginny, Ron, Fred, and George had managed to escape, thankfully. Percy and Bill had both died in the Battle of Hogwarts, as had Bill's wife Fleur, which left them as the only surviving Weasleys. The Wizarding World had been reduced to those standing with him in the Department of Mysteries, with the exception of a few surviving Death Eaters. The underground researching department had survived the bombings due to its' magical wards and the fact it was so far underground.

Harry turned to take in his surroundings. His two oldest friends, who had been there for him through thick and thin, Ron Weasley and Hermione Granger. Ron was now 6'4 and had filled out, especially after he discovered boxing. He was not someone who you wanted to fight, both in a duel or hand to hand combat. Hermione, whose brilliance had allowed them to survive as long as they had and had uncovered the research that gave them hope to survive. Luna, whose unique insight had allowed Hermione to succeed in completing the Unspeakable's research, stood beside her. Her upbeat attitude had been a light in the darkness for all of them. Neville, who had become one his most trusted friends, stood beside Ron. He had come a long way since they had started at Hogwarts all those years ago, and was an extremely powerful duelist. He still carried the Sword of Gryffindor in a sheath on his belt, and was an expert swordsman.

Ginny stood beside Luna, her longtime best friend. She was still the love of Harry's life, and had agreed to marry him last year after she had finished Hogwarts. Her dueling abilities were second only to Harry's, and considering he was the Immortal Master of Death and owner of the Unbeatable Elder Wand, didn't count. No one had dared to argue with her about it, either.

Daphne Greengrass, Harry's other wife, stood beside Ginny. Harry had been stunned when he had been informed of the marriage contract between them that had been arranged by their parents at birth. He had been even more shocked that he was actually required to have more than one wife to continue family lines. He had been emphatically against the idea at first, but had eventually come to love and admire the former Slytherin. She was a prodigy in the art of Potions, and had been key in brewing and collecting the potions needed for their trip through the Veil. She also often assisted their two Healers in patching them up. Having three wives was difficult at times, but they all managed to make it work.

Beside Neville was his girlfriend, Hannah Abbott. She had become one of the two Healers in their group, and had saved their lives with her skills more than once. Susan Bones stood beside her best friend and former roommate in Hufflepuff. The fiery redhead was an excellent fighter, and had a keen mind that would have made her an excellent Minister of Magic had she gotten the chance. She had also married Harry to prevent being forced to marry a member of the Rosier family that was twice her age. He was an excellent unpleasant man, and had supported Voldemort despite not taking the Dark Mark. Harry had stepped in and saved his friend, and they had come to love each other over the years.

The Weasley twins stood next to Susan. Fred and George's inventions had saved their lives more than once, and their senses of humor and quick wits had kept them from losing hope more than once. Although it often came at the expense of Harry himself, as they would often joke about how Harry was a god, due to having multiple wives and prodigious skills in magic. Ginny had hexed them more than once for making one crude joke too many. Seamus Finnegan often was hexed for the same reason, as the Irish Gryffindor often joined the twins in their inventions and pranks. He always had been rather good at blowing things up.

Dean Thomas stood beside Seamus, his best friend and former roommate. Harry had often marveled that all five of the Gryffindors in his year had survived all the battles and bloodshed that had occurred since the had started Hogwarts a little more than a decade ago. Dean was a competent duelist, and a loyal friend. His girlfriend Parvati Patil stood beside him, alongside her twin Padma. Padma was a brilliant researcher and their expert in Ancient Runes. Parvati was their main source of information, as she was excellent at finding out what was happening in both the Muggle World and the activities of the Death Eaters. Although they had been extremely ineffective recently, as Dolohov, Travers, and Augustus Rookwood had disappeared over a year ago. Lucius Malfoy was dead, leaving Thoros Nott as the only surviving member of Voldemort's inner circle, and he was more of a scholar and politician than a warrior.

No one knew how Pavarti got her information on the movement of Nott and his fellow former Death Eaters, only that she had the help of Mundungus Fletcher, who stood beside Padma. Coward and slimeball that he was, he owed Harry a life debt when he saved his life in a Death Eater attack. He had his uses, thanks to his ties to the criminal underworld, being a criminal himself. He was also scared to death of Harry, who still didn't trust him after he had cleared out Grimmauld Place after Sirius had fallen through the Veil. Harry was still holding out hope that they would find him alive when they went through the Veil. It had been five years since he had watched his godfather fall through the Veil, and he had blamed himself for his death every day since. He had been robbed of the chance to truly get to know his godfather due to the actions of a traitor, a corrupt Ministry, and Bellatrix Lestrange, and he sincerely wanted another chance to see him again.

The only other surviving member of both the Marauders and the Order of the Phoenix stood beside Mundungus. Remus Lupin, who was holding his three year old son, Teddy had disappeared from the Wizarding World after his wife's death in the Battle of Hogwarts, leaving Teddy with his grandmother, Andromeda Tonks. But he had returned after the bombings, and while he had yet to regain Harry's respect after abandoning his son, he had taught them all some pretty advanced magic in the year since that had definitely helped them survive. And he had definitely been trying to be a father and raise Teddy, especially after Andromeda passed away from radiation poisoning.

The others standing in the room were allies only by convenience. Draco Malfoy, Gregory Goyle, Pansy Parkinson, and Blaise Zabini had quickly deserted the Death Eaters they and their parents had supported their entire lives when they had seen the death and destruction they had caused. Astoria Greengrass, who was Draco's fiancé, had begged her sister Daphne and brother-in-law Harry not to let Draco and the others die, and that needed their protection. Harry had agreed, but made sure that they knew that they would be killed if they betrayed them. He also insisted that they would go their separate ways once they passed through, as he had no desire to put up with Draco longer than that, which Draco quickly agreed to do.

Harry had the foresight to remove the vast fortunes he had been left by his parents and godfather in the days following the bombing of Hogwarts. The goblins had gone underground, and had not stopped him from withdrawing his funds. His fortune was combined with the vast fortunes of his wealthy allies and the Sorcerer's Stone given to him by the surprisingly alive Nicholas and Perenelle Flamel three months ago. Considering this allowed him to make gold whenever he wanted, as well as making his friends immune to the effects of time and illness like Harry himself, they would never need money wherever they ended up. However, only Harry and his wives knew about the Stone at the moment. Not even Daphne trusted Draco and his allies, and knew her sister would tell Draco. And no one trusted Mundungus. So they agreed to keep it a secret until they were able to converse freely.

Now that they were prepared to leave, Harry gave a nod at his friends and allies, and stepped into the Veil and the unknown.
