Chi-Fu is kind and patient in this universe.

Ling is deaf and uses sign language in this universe.

I don't own Mulan and/or the characters.

But i do own Lottie aka Ling's little sister.

Lottie is short for Charlotte.

Story Plot: When Ling arrives at camp everyone incuding Shang there make fun of him except for one person Mulan/Ping. Ling is gald that Mulan/Ping dosen't make fun of him for being deaf. Mulan/Ping stands up for Ling when he's getting teased, picked on, bullied, and even comforts him when he's getting made fun of. Ling even teaches Mulan/Ping sign language and soon both of them develop romantic feelings for each other.

Authors Note: BTW i always write from the characters Point.Of.Viwe.

The P.O.V changes alot, first from one character and than the other character.

Chapter 1 Meet Ling.

Ling's P.O.V

I looked at the camp entrance i took a deep breath before walking in, as soon as i got in i was greeted by this tall man. "Hi my name is Ling, whats your name?" i asked knowing that my voice sounded muffled like if my mouth was tide by a cloth. "My name is Li Shang, but you can call me Shang if you like." Shang said before he gave a sigh. "What's that weird thing that your doing with your hands?" Shang asked after cocking both of his eyebrows. I gave a small chuckle before i gave my answer. "I'm deaf but i can read lips really well, and what you see me doing with my hands is called sign language." I replied with a smile on my face hoping that he would understand. Shang just rolled his eyes before walking away and shaking his head. ("I hope that i at least make one friend here.") I thought to myself while walking to my tent that Chi-Fu assigned me too. Once i got in my tent I put my bag in the corner of the tent and i walked out to find a near by tree. ("A nice place to meditate.") I thought to myself again while walking to the tree and sat down under it. I closed my eyes while slowly breathing in and out after meditating i opened my eyes and saw Chi-Fu standing in front of me while holding two clipboards along with two pens. "Shang told me that your deaf and just in case if you feel embarrassed using sign language, you can use this." Chi-Fu said after handing me the clipboard that had a blank piece of paper and pen attached to it. But before i could reply Chi-Fu spoke again. "I know you feel, it can be kinda awkward using sign language for people who don't even understand it." Chi-Fu said again while giving me a understanding smile as i held the clipboard and pen that he gave me. But before Chi-Fu could walk away i wrote something on the clipboard, then i grabbed his sleeve and showed him what i wrote. Chi-Fu looked at the clipboard and read aloud. "Thank you." After Chi-Fu looked at me again and began to write next to where i wrote. I read it in my head. ("Your welcome Ling.") Than I saw him walking away from where i was sitting and to his own tent.

Ling's P.O.V

I was in my tent getting ready for bed i put on my dark green night-gown, then i laid down on my sleeping mat after blowing out my candle from my lantern before i put my head on my pillow. I pulled the blanket over me and let a wave of unconsciousness wash over me into dreamland. That night i dreamt about my little sister Lottie.

("Oh where could Lottie be hiding?") I thought to myself while walking in the living-room and looking around. I felt somone lightly tugging on the back of my shirt, when i turned around Lottie was standing right there giving me a smile. "Lottie i have a surprise for you." I said before i bent down on my knees so i can be at her height. "What is it?" Lottie asked me after she jumped in my arms while continuing to smile at me. "Now if i told you it won't be a surprise." I replied back while holding Lottie and standing back up. "Where is my surprise?" Lottie asked me again with a mix of curiosity and wonder in her voice. "Your surprise is in the barn." i replied before walking out of the living room.

"Can i uncover my eyes now?" Lottie asked me after i put her down. "Yes you can uncover your eyes now." i replied back while i just kept on smiling. When Lottie opened her eyes she i was holding a chinese eagle. "Lottie this is your new pet, isn't she beautiful?" I said while gently scratching the eagles head. "Do you want to hold her?" I asked while looking at my little sister and continuing to scratch the eagles head. "Yes i do want to hold her!" Lottie replied with a twinkle in her eyes. "First put this black glove on your left hand." i said after using my other hand to hand her the glove. Lottie quickly put on the glove then i motioned the eagle to go to Lottie, after the eagle landed on her left hand. "I'm going to name her Phonix Fenai for short!" Lottie repiled giggle and looking at her new pet.
