Hello everyone!
Yeah another one shot, involving my favorite Nazi Loli, Tanya. No real reason i'm making this, other then me watching "Saga Of Tanya The Evil" or as it's commonly known as "Youjo Senki" cause really their aren't many fic's out there about this little hidden gem of an anime. With this coronavirus shit going around, figure i'd give you all some nice fluff and something to "Aww" at to help keep people clam a bit.
Personally i think people are overreacting and need to take a FUCKING CHILL PILL!
Seriously, everyone needs to clam the fuck down, take a step back and think for a second and you'll find a new way to deal with other then losing you're damn mind.
Do i think the coronavirus is a bad thing and is very dangerous?
Yes, i do.
Do i think, it's a good idea to shit myself with worry over it?
No.
Workers, who wear gloves and always wash their hands after everything is something they should do anyway. I do the same at my work place, so you're all not alone in that regard and yes it's a good idea to keep people at a good distance. That doesn't mean people should go out, get anything and everything and horde it all!
Like toilet paper of all things, that's stupid! Anyway back to topic, this story is post cannon, where the empire falls and Tanya and Visah vanish. But people like them can't just vanish, without someone looking for them for a while till they're presumed dead. So Mary hunts for them, finds them but finds something she didn't expect. So as always i don't own Youjo Senki.
So please read, review and "What the fuc-BOOM"
Breaking The Cycle Of Hate
She could only image the look of pure shock on her face, as Mary Sue wasn't sure what she was expecting when she finally found the "Devil Of The Rhine" after all these years of hunting Tanya.
For the past four years she has hunted and hunted and hunted some more, killing imperial soldiers and tearing through any and all that stand in the way of her rightful vengeance. She has done inhuman things to the soldiers of the Empire in order to get what she wanted and when she didn't get what she wanted, she killed them in a way that would surly make the devil proud.
For two years, she trained herself to the bone in order to be powerful enough, to not only beat Tanya, but to humiliate her.
Much like how Tanya humiliated her, by using the gun SHE brought her FATHER!
The same one that was meant to keep her beloved daddy safe was the one that killed him. If that wasn't enough, Tanya used that same gun against her back in her first battle and the girl barely glanced at her.
Before and after they fought briefly, with Tanya completely outclassing her in every way possible.
Even with God on her side and the lord giving Mary his blessing, it wasn't enough. Mary's bloodlust had grown over the years and the only way for it to be saint it would be the blood of a certain blonde.
Tanya's blood.
Then and only then, would Mary feel the desire for blood to finally rest. It took two years of ruthless searching, in an almost zealous manner she had FINALLY found Tanya.
"Mommy, mommy look i did it!"
But she found something more too.
Mary could only stare in disbelief as a little blonde hair girl, with honey colored eyes ran up to the petite Tanya and hugging her with a wide and innocent smile. It was 3 in the afternoon and Mary was in her military uniform, flying above the small little home, located outside in the country. It was such a cliche setting for starting over, Mary almost laughed herself silly at the sheer audacity that blonde devil had.
Did she really think, she could just go into hiding, make a little house and forget all the bad and outright evil things she did?
The blonde seemed to think so and just as Tanya came into Mary's sights and with said woman grinning like a madman, ready to take the shoot she froze. Upon seeing an innocent, little girl hugging that monster and calling her "mommy".
It was...
It was...
"Beautiful."
That was the only way, Mary could describe the scene. As Tanya wearing a simple, but beautiful white summer dress and let her hair down. The now twenty year old woman hugged her daughter, giving off the prefect picture of innocence. But that would hardly matter to a soldier, as Tanya was out in the open, no weapon and Mary couldn't even sense any type of defensive magic.
"Meaning i can take her out, before she realizes what happens."
Mary thought to herself, raising her gun and silently narrowing her eyes, waiting for the prefect shot and waited.
And waited.
.
.
.
.
.
.
...And waited and waited some more. The gun began to shake in her hands, as she began to lose focus.
"Why the hell can't i pull the trigger?!"
She yelled inside her head. She had the prefect shot, the little girl was off chasing a butterfly, while another woman with long brown hair and bright blue eyes wrapped an arm around Tanya and kissed her cheek. Mary felt her angry grow, immediately recognizing "The Devil's Right Hand Woman" meaning two of the biggest war criminals were in one place and Mary had the prefect shot to kill them both.
"..."
"...WHY CAN'T I TAKE THE DAMN SHOT?!"
The woman growled to herself, as the duo moved so they sat under a tree together, their daughter playing in the field. None of them were any wiser to the danger lingering over their heads.
"Why can't i do it?"
Mary questioned herself, when she heard the child laugh, making her heart clench painfully. She knew why, because if she did pull the trigger and kill Tanya and Visha, that would leave the little girl parentless.
Just like the war did to millions of people
Just like the empire did to thousands of people.
Just like Tanya and Visha did to so many others.
"Just like Tanya did to me."
Was she so willing, so selfishly do the same to an innocent little girl? Could she, Mary Sue, become the very same monster that took over hundreds of people, simple because she was following orders?
For a war that was over, with the empire collapsing in on itself?
"Can i do it?"
Mary gripped her gun, took a deep breath and finally breathed out. Her choice was made.
"Click."
Mary clipped the safety on her gun, on and silently flew away. No she wasn't going to become that same monster Tanya was. She could not, WOULD not do what Tanya did to her and leave a child, whom had done no wrong be left alone.
She wouldn't do it.
What Mary didn't know however, was after she turned to leave, Tanya looked up to where she was and smiled.
"Seems to me, you did what i could not, Mary Sue."
Tanya knew she was a soldier, a monster and a killer. She had achieved many impossible feats, one being her marriage to Visha being one of them. Her daughter was another one, but Mary did something she didn't think was possible.
Tanya had seen many examples throughout the war, one that keep it going even when all logic and reason was through out the window. She had seen it on Mary's father, an Arene city citizen and even her second in command, Weiss.
But Mary had done the impossible:
She broke the cycle of hate, by letting them go live their lives.
"Something i shall be forever grateful."
Tanya thought to herself, as she laid back against the tree.
Life was good.
Done.
Hope you all enjoyed, devil out.
