Good Evening All! I just wanted to say, it has been an honor and a privilege writing this fic to date. With that being said, the fire has been burning a bit lower lately and it's been harder to pump out a chapter every week. I do not plan on abandoning this story just yet, but I may have to ease back on the chapters a bit for a while. This may mean an update every other week or something similar, it really just depends on how life events are going (it's been a bit crazy out there, you might have noticed).

Thank you for reading as much as you have, it means a lot (a special thank you to those who make a point to regularly write solid reviews, hat's off to you ladies and gentlemen). I realize this sounds a bit like a farewell speech, which is not intentional. Like I said, I still plan to keep going with this story, just keep in mind that going forward not everyone will get what they want. Especially with Romance in a fic, there is usually a lot of contention as to who the main love interest should be.

This ended up being a little shorter than I would like, but I was reasonably pleased in being able to hit all the main points so hopefully you will feel the same.

As always, please ignore any errors and do enjoy yourself.

It would not be an exaggeration to say that Sasuke's skill as a ninja eclipsed that of Uchiha Madara by the end of his life. Awakening the Rinnegan at the age of sixteen, Sasuke fought a mythic being known as Kaguya and became a legend at an age when most ninja were just starting to build their own legacy. Years later, Sasuke would engage Kaguya's people multiple times in battles that lived on in legend throughout the history of the small nation known as Konoha.

Thus, while many would scoff at the idea of one man engaging an army in battle, they had obviously never witnessed Uchiha Madara slaughter the allied troops of the elemental nations until he was finally stalemated by the entire combined strength of that same coalition. They did not see Uchiha Madara single handedly fight the strongest leaders of the age all at once and still remain unbowed.

Fallen angels were more than mere ninja's, they were immortal beings that had lived for thousands of years, the weakest of which could easily dispatch a horde of humans that attempted to attack them.

Even as the fallen angels were greater than mortal man, so too was Uchiha Sasuke greater than any Ninja that came before or after him by the end of his life. Thus, a scenario unfolded where the immovable object known as the army of Fallen Angels met the unstoppable force that was Sasuke Uchiha.

The result was pure chaos.

Even as the shockwave from Shinra Tensei dissipated, a towering demonic figure dwarfed the winged figures of the fallen as Susanoo made itself known. Light lances came in waves by the thousands as they impacted on the massive figure to no effect. Sneering, the huge figure created a sword of ebony flames that incinerated all that came in contact with it, angels by the dozens falling from the sky in agony as they fruitlessly attempted to beat out the dark flames hungrily devouring their bodies.

As the minutes dragged on the fallen quickly adapted their tactics to stay out of reach from the devastating sword whose fire would not go out. From a distance they began concentrating their magical firepower, causing certain areas on Susanoo to flicker as more chakra was required to maintain the invincible barrier. Sasuke scowled from his controller position within Susanoo as the fallen continued to bombard him from afar.

With a wicked gleam in his eye, Sasuke triggered his most powerful technique as the fallen grouped together in the sky above him.

"Chibaku Tensei!"

Suddenly a tiny black hole erupted in the middle of the fallen, causing cries of dismay as many were drawn directly into the antimatter and disintegrated. Chibaku Tensei was Sasuke's masterpiece; Pein had used it to create an impenetrable containment unit to hold the most violent prisoners for transport. Sasuke had similarly used it to imprison all the tailed beasts simultaneously during his duel with Naruto. Over the years, Sasuke had drawn inspiration from Gaara's gruesome sand coffin to create a truly devastating technique that could either hold or kill even the strongest enemies. By exponentially increasing the chakra he gave to the technique, Sasuke was able to create a miniature singularity that increased both the damage and gravitational pull of the technique by a huge margin. Additionally, he could simply tweak the original technique slightly to cause the shell to condense as much or little as he wanted, allowing him to crush the massive shell's occupants inside if he so desired.

Many fallen attempted to fly to safety, only to be pulled back in by the tremendous gravitational pull as Sasuke redoubled his efforts. Light spears and all forms of magical attack poured in from every direction as the fallen desperately attempted to kill Sasuke in order to save their comrades. Sasuke grimaced as blood began to pour from his sharingan eye; such potent techniques were not without cost unfortunately. Thankfully, the cost for the eternal mangekyou was infinitely smaller than the original eye in that it allowed the user to keep their vision intact, but it always hurt like hell just the same. Baring his teeth, Sasuke increased the chakra to the growing mass in the sky as the gravitational pull became strong enough to pull whole rock mesas and mounds of earth from the ground.

Finally, it was silent as the remaining army inadvertently stopped firing and gazed in awe at the small moon that had formed over the earth. Hundreds of fallen angels were entombed forever in a silent mountain of rock that slowly floated to rest on the earth. The fallen had all lived for many years and seen countless powerful techniques, though they were usually of the destructive energy type that overwhelmed one's defenses directly. Such an unusual technique threw them for a loop, especially as the unknown fear of mortality gripped their hearts for the first time in millennia.

Sasuke panted as he coughed out blood from inside Susanoo and clutched his side with a grimace; one of the barrages had gotten a lucky hit and pierced Susanoo before he could bolster the area with Chakra. He pulled the light spear out with a snarl as it burned him; obviously having the spirit of a devil lord inside him made such holy techniques more effective, even to his human form. At this rate, he wasn't sure how much longer he would be able to hold out; it was incredibly taxing to utilize both the perfect Susanoo and his most powerful Rinnegan techniques simultaneously. Fortunately, it looked like his shock and awe gamble had paid off.

Even as a dark haired figure Sasuke assumed to be the leader of the rabble began rallying his troops for another assault, the impenetrable barrier finally showed a huge crack from the combined firepower of two Satans frantic to reach their beloved siblings. With an angry scowl, the dark figure sulkily made a motion to begin retreat as he made his way over to Susanoo.

Sasuke smirked; it was always interesting when these overblown villain types needed to get something off their chest.

"So, at last we meet Sasuke-kun; assuming that is your real name of course."

Sasuke examined the figure before him as the fallen angel hovered just out of Susanoo's range. Inky black hair framed a gaunt face that looked like it could easily belong to one of Orochimaru's experiments; it was the red eyes and pointed ears that cemented the resemblance.

"To think that a mere human could be such a nuisance, especially after I went to all the trouble to distract you with the holy swords. It is apparent that I will need to deal with you personally before I can go through with my plans."

Sasuke shook his head in bemusement.

"By that I assume you mean your plans to ignite the war all over again?"

Kokabiel gave Sasuke a sharp look.

"Even if it was patently obvious for anyone who knows those two girls, your theory still speaks to the fact that you are not an idiot. That's good, I wouldn't want this to be quick or easy."

Kokabiel chuckled as Susanoo assumed a guard stance.

"No, much as I would love to kill you right now, it would not serve my purposes if I defeated you only to fall myself to the two monsters breaking in as we speak. We'll do this another time, Sasuke Uchiha."

More cracks appeared in the barrier and a keening sound could be heard clearly.

"Well, that's my cue; until next time human."

Kokabiel dissapeared in a shroud of darkness as the barrier finally gave way to the relentless attacks.

Sasuke watched as the few fallen angels yet to teleport out screamed as they were either vaporized by a dark red column of destruction or frozen solid by a blizzard that seemed to originate from nowhere.

Sasuke stood tall as the devil army poured in through the broken barrier, Susanoo still in guard position. He was not in a position to fight another army, but they certainly didn't need to know that.

A large man with red hair appeared in a blur beside a small woman with pig tails, both just inside Susanoo's attack range.

"Sasuke-san! Where is my Rias-chan? Where have they taken my little sister!" The man seemed to barely be in control, dark red energy wafting off him visibly as his eyes were set in a desperate, crazed stare.

"Indeed, where is Sona? Speak quickly." The small girl said in a gruff, desperate tone that seemed out of character for her size and appearance.

"I would suggest you deal with that man before we discuss your siblings."

The two satans whirled to see a silver clad figure appearing behind them.

"Tch, looks like I just missed ole Kokey. Here I was finally allowed to kick his ass and he runs off on me. Oh well, I'll find him..."

Suddenly the young man turned to the three figures hungrily.

"You seem strong, maybe you can keep me entertained in the meantime?"

The two Satans scowled.

"We don't have time to satisfy your bloodlust boy."

The silver figure let out a grin that was all teeth as he cocked back his fist and flew at Sirzechs with intent.

Sirzechs, his control already on edge, finally had enough.

A blast of pure destruction sent the young man in silver flying even as the little girl in pig tails looked on in exasperation.

"It's just as well I suppose, all this stress makes him cranky unless he has an outlet. Well Sasuke-san? Have you seen my little sister?"

Releasing Susanoo now that his part in the battle was over, Sasuke briefly went down on one knee and finished coughing out the blood in his mouth and wiped his sharingan eye clear as the girl looked on in concern.

"Do you require healing? From what I have heard from Sona regarding you, she would be most displeased if you were permanently injured on my watch."

"It's fine; your sister is with Rias and their peerages are in a safe room far below the school. I assume that you are Leviathan?"

An eyebrow was raised.

"Yes, though Serafall or Levi-tan is preferable on a typical day."

Her gesture was mirrored as Sasuke raised both eyebrows.

"Levi-tan?"

"Let's just say that what you are seeing now is rare, my game face if you will. My true personality is a bit more suitable for my attire."

"Ah."

Sasuke had dealt with crazy before enough to see the signs, and it was better not to poke crazy unless absolutely necessary.

"Divide!Divide!Divide!"

A resounding boom went through the area as everyone watched a huge dust cloud rise from where the two figures forcefully crashed into the tortured earth. As the dust settled, a triumphant Sirzechs could be seen with his foot planted on the youth's chest as the silver clad figure scowled up at him.

"Vali Lucifer, we have quite a long list of your known abilities. Don't bother trying for your Juggernaut Drive, I will gladly disintegrate you before you are able to engage it. If you're done here, I suggest you leave immediately before I change my mind and destroy you for hindering me in my search for Rias-chan."

Vali smirked.

"You're tougher than I thought old man; we'll have to do a rematch again sometime when you're not so busy."

Vali turned his gaze to Sasuke as Onyx eyes stared down Hazel.

"And you human, I will fight you anytime day or night. Here's my card if you ever want to try me."

A card appeared in Sasuke's hand in a flash of light as Vali dissapeared from beneath Sirzech's boot and teleported with a silent shimmer.

"Onii-san!"

Sirzechs snapped his gaze to the redhead running his way and his whole body seemed to collapse in relief. As the two redheads embraced, Sirzechs put their foreheads together and whispered words obviously meant just for the two of them.

Sona followed behind Rias with both of their peerages, everyone healed of their injuries as an exhausted Asia was carried by a grateful Lione.

The prim girl was immediately assaulted by Serafall as the smaller girl embraced her sister desperately and silently.

For once, Sona seemed to soften towards her sister and returned her embrace as the peerage surveyed the battlefield in awe.

Koneko asked the question that was on most of their minds.

"Where did that huge ball come from?"

Sasuke grimaced.

"It is the result of my most potent technique; I will say no more as you can see the results for yourself. Just know that 'ball' as you call it is currently serving as the final resting place for hundreds of fallen angels."

A chill fell over the devils present as they readjusted their stance on Uchiha Sasuke. For a single technique to be capable of killing hundreds of the powerful beings, Sasuke obviously possessed power that very few beings in existence could claim.

Asia perked up as she saw Sasuke, only to immediately try to get down when she got a closer look at him.

"Saint-sama! You're drenched in blood, please let me heal you!"

Sasuke raised his hand in a placating manner.

"No Asia-chan, you have healed enough for today. The injuries you see are the result of my own lack of foresight in combining two very potent techniques at once. It caused a moment of vulnerability that allowed one of the light spear waves to compromise my defenses; the wound can wait until tomorrow as a reminder of my foolishness."

The Satan's looked on in approval, obviously reminiscing to their own days of youth millennia ago during the great war between the factions.

Sirzechs shook his head free of the old memories and turned to Sasuke.

"Sasuke-san, I hope you would consider accompanying me back to the Underworld for an emergency meeting."

"Onii-san, why? Can't you see Sasuke-san is exhausted? Can't this wait for another day?"

Sirzechs looked grim.

"It cannot unfortunately; I am meeting my advisors and I would like him to be present if possible."

Sona looked at Sirzechs with narrowed eyes.

"Just what is this meeting regarding Sirzechs-san?"

Sirzechs grimaced as he looked over the scorched earth at the broken bodies on the battlefield.

"A council of war."
