[In a forest, miles away from Hamtaro's home town]

Jade: *Jade, a white hamster in a black cloak and had green eyes, dash as fast as he could carrying his fencing sword, darting his eyes back and forth. He was in panic as he knew that, soon, he was gonna get attacked. He stopped, panting hard, nearly falling over. He took one last deep breath as he looked around in his surrounding. He was in a opening, where everywhere he turned he could see nothing but trees and bushes.*

Jade: ...*Jade looked at his fencing sword.* ...Hamtaro...*He sensed something was coming and stared at the bushes behind him, ready.* ...I need your help...

*Right then, a shadow of a larger hamster, came flying through one of the bushes*

Jade: !? *The shadow crashed into Jade, and they flew right over a nearby cliff.*

?: ...Heh *Jade only saw this hamster for a second. He saw he was black and red, but before he could see more details, he got smashed by what seemed to be a wizard like staff, and Jade flew right into the trees.*

Jade: ! GAK! *Jade bounced off many tree branches as he descended down a singular tree. He smacked hard off one, and flew away from the tree and landed in the bushes. He laid there for a moment stunned.* ...Grr! *Jade stumbles up and out of the bushes, readying his sword, again, ready for combat.*

*A moment of silence appeared, with only the windy rustling the fine leaves of the trees.*

?: ...RAHHHHHHHH! *The shadow appeared again, but less of a shadow and more of a blur, and dashed by Jade, smacking him hard. Jade had to spin, to not fall over.*

Jade: ?! *Jade checked his side. It hurt like he got smacked by the staff.* ...!? *Suddenly, the shadow came even faster now, and smacked him. It came back, again and again, constantly smacking him in different spots. He couldn't even react.*

?: WHAT A FAILURE! *The shadow then jumped up into the air.* HAHAHAHAHA! *The shadow came crashing down towards him in a black blur*

Jade: Tsk! Tack-Q! *Jade rolled as hard as could, but he couldn't quite make it out of the shock wave* CRRRR- *He rolled hard, but then he managed to stumble on to his feet, and he took this advantage to run hard.*

?: *The shadow just laughed historically* RUN RUN AS FAST AS YOU CAN, YOU POOR WEAKLING! ...

Jade: *pant* *pant* *pant* ...HAM-HA! *Jade jumped hard as he could off a high cliff* Please LET ME LIVE! *He fell hard, into the mist of the forest.*

?: *Finally, the shadow stepped out into the light. The hamster was black and had red strips. He held a staff which was black, but it had a red crystal on top of it.*

?: What a fool...*The hamster shifted his crystal staff so he could see through the red gem. He smiled as he saw its contents.*

*Within the red crystal laid the legendary white rose. The hamster knew that this very rose had the power to grant the user a wish. It was wilted and falling apart however, and lost its power. The dark hamster stared at with a evil like glee, because he felt the staff surge with power.*

*Soon, however, the white rose grew a white light, and it was blinding.*

?: Hmmmmm?... *Soon the white light died off, and inside the crystal laid the legendary white rose, fully restored.* ...So...the book of legends was right about this flower... *The dark hamster rubbed the crystal, his smile growing even deeper.*

?: The white rose...The one that if you pure your heart into it, it will grant you a wish...and the rose is only granted back its power if one fights with all of his heart for it. *He then grabbed the gem with a mighty grip, just soft enough to not break the crystal* However! It has its limitations! Otherwise, I would simply ask to rule this small forsaken world... *The hamster looked up in deep thought*

?: ...Hmmm...Fine! *He then smiled with a great evil glee* If this rose won't give me what I want, THEN...

*The evil hamster rose the staff into the air.*

Desmond: I DESMOND, BROTHER TO SPAT, AND SON TO JESTER THE GREAT, HEAR ME LEGENDARY WHITE ROSE! GIVE ME YOUR POWER! ALL OF IT! LET IT BE DONE THAT I CAN RULE THIS PUNY WORLD WITH MY OWN CONTROL! *The rose then bursts into a great white light once more, with it shining like a great sun. However, it soon started to fade into black. With this, Desmond smiled evilly.*

*The black light faded into the crystal and into the rose. The white rose turned into a dark rose.*

Desmond: ... *He twisted the staff to examine the rose.* Hmmm... WELL Let me test this... GRANT ME POWER! *Soon the dark rose lit up just enough to cause the red gem to turn its color black. Then, dark aura seeped from the crystal and surrounded Desmond. Desmond began to ascend into the air with lighting sparking slowly*

Desmond: HAHAHAHAHAHA! I CAN GRANT ANYTHING I WANT NOW! *He slowly descended and stared at the dark rose.* The legendary dark rose...Now that...is a NAME! MAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAH!

*In the far far distances, was Jade, who was leaning against the base of a tree.*

Jade: *pant* *pant* *pant* ...Grk! *He held his left leg, which was extremely hurt.* ...I...have to...*He winched as he started taking steps slowly* make it to...you...Hamtaro...
