This is actually kind of a side story to a crossover story I'm currently writing (with One Piece but dw about it though) that I haven't published yet. I'm planning on finishing the whole story first. Anyway, enjoy reading! If you have any suggestions or ideas PM me ;) Next chapter will come soon~
OLD SUMMARY: Tsuna and his guardians developed a system with Byakuran to communicate with their parallel selves so that they can evaluate the condition of the Trinisette in multiple parallel worlds. #1 Rule: Expect anything.
^Just in case :D
"Tenth, it's finally finished." Giannini said over the intercom. Tsuna looked from his pile of paperwork, eyes bloodshot.
"I see... " He groaned, "Send it over to Byakuran in the meeting room to set it up so we can start whenever we're ready."
"Roger that!" With a click of the intercom, Tsuna stretched in his chair and stood up.
"That should be enough for today." He mumbled to himself. He stepped outside of his office. As the Vongola Boss walked through the hallways of the mansion, maids and butlers lowered their heads in respect. Tsuna approached the main lobby where he gradually heard shouting and explosions.
They better not give me anymore shit to do, he thought to himself. Tsuna arrived to see Ryohei and Hayato yelling at each other as if trying to out-shout the other. Takeshi laughed as he watched from the seats with Lambo sleeping peacefully despite the noise. Kyoya and Mukuro maintained their distance from one another, sulking. In between them was Chrome smiling innocently though Tsuna could see the threatening aura emanating from her.
Chrome was first to notice Tsuna walk in. The dark atmosphere around her dropped as she ran over to her boss, "Hello Boss, are you done with your work?"
"Oh Tsuna!" Takeshi waved from his spot.
"Tenth?!" Hayato whipped his head, dog ears and tail present.
"Hey, Sawada!"
With Chrome gone between them, Kyoya and Mukuro turned to each other with weapons already clashing. Tsuna stared at them and sighed.
"Well, most of it. What about you guys? It's rare to see everyone here at the same time." Tsuna said.
"Our missions finished early, Tenth!" Hayato proudly replied. Tsuna raised a suspicious brow.
"No issues?"
"... No issues!" Hayato said after a pause. Tsuna stared at him then at his other guardians who kept quiet. The Vongola Boss' face fell into a deadpan. "Is that so…"
"Well…" Hayato said, now sweating bullets. His smile still plastered onto his face.
"I may have overdid it…" Takeshi started.
"... I didn't think they'd be that traumatized." Chrome mumbled.
"I EXTREMELY gave it my all that I destroyed half of the building!"
"... I bombed the other half."
"I didn't go on my mission." Lambo murmured in his sleep.
Tsuna continued to stare. It had become unusually quiet. He looked over to where Kyoya and Mukuro should have been only to find Mukuro gone and Kyoya retreating. Tsuna shot a bullet to where he was headed.
"And Kyoya?" Kyoya closed his eyes and looked to the side.
"All of the targets are in the hospital along with the people you sent in with me… As well as the client. They were crowding too much so I bit them all to death."
Tsuna put away his gun and sighed once more. He gave them a tired smile, "I can't say I'm surprised. I'm glad you're all safe and that we're all here so we could spend some time together."
"Tsu-chan~" Byakuran's voice echoed across the hall from the meeting room, "The other party is ready to go and so are we!"
"What?!" Tsuna exclaimed. "What does he mean the other party is ready to go? We're meeting them already?"
"That marshmallow freak, he's way too excited about this." Hayato grumbled.
"I guess I have no choice but to go don't I…" Tsuna said.
"Tsuna, we're going too! I'm so curious what our parallel selves are like." Takeshi volunteered.
All of his guardians seem to have the same idea. Tsuna shrugged and started walking with Hayato, Chrome, Takeshi and Ryohei in tow. Lambo groggily got up from his nap and followed. Mukuro appeared from nowhere, laughing creepily beside Chrome. Kyoya walked a distance away from them but nevertheless also interested. They entered the meeting room where Byakuran and a teenage Reborn were waiting for them.
"You guys are too slow!" Byakuran pouted. The guardians took their seats with Tsuna at the head of the table while Byakuran walked up to Gianini's machine and inserted his Mare Ring into it.
The projector screen rolled down and the image flickered as the connection was being established.
"So… I've contacted a lot of my parallel selves already and they're eager to meet with you!" Byakuran said while they waited for the screen.
He continued, "Anyway, I decided to keep it PG and start easy for now so I scheduled with these people first."
"PG?" asked Tsuna.
"You'll see eventually." Byakuran replied with a hum. For some reason, Tsuna didn't like the sound of that. What's the worst thing that could happen?
The screen cleared and Tsuna was amazed to see a mirror image of the current room.
NOTE: So these set of characters (our main cast) you can think of as the canon characters and I will refer to them by first name.
