I had an Idea, and now you have drabbles.
Let The Chaos Ensue...
"You have to what?"
"They want me to kill the teacher," Rin said. He walked the halls of the small, quaint school. Neer primitive compared to true cross. "I just got out of a briefing with a spiky haired dude. And they don't even know about my abilities," he laughed.
Across the line, Yukio sighed. "Disregard that, just do your best to learn," he emphasized. "Why do they want you to kill him anyways?"
He stood in front of the door, looking at the odd knife they gave him. "Apparently the teacher is great, but he's gonna blow up the earth if we don't kill him first." He opened the door and his eyes went wide. "Or, maybe because he's a giant yellow octopus."
Yukio laughed. "Yeah right, just focus on your studies," he said, then hung up.
"Ah, Class, this is your new classmate. Would you like to introduce yourself?" The octopus asked, a freakishly wide smile on his face.
Rin walked forward, wrote his name on the board and stuffed his hands in his pockets. "My name is Rin Okumura, I just moved here from True Cross Town after my grades were so bad that they shipped me here. Any questions?"
"Isn't True Cross where you learn to be an exorcist?" A blonde girl asked.
Rin nodded. "I'm a Knight, middle 1st class, still learning. But I shirked my work for traditional studies and was only paying attention to my exorcist studies, that's why I'm here."
The classroom both laughed and awed.
"Are demons really as scary as they say?" a red head in the back asked. "Because they don't seem that bad to me."
Rin gave a closed lip smirk. "Well, there are a few demons in here, none of you can see them, for obvious reasons, but for some reason you have a small group of Col Tar swarming you."
The red head smirked. "Interesting."
"Sir, uh, what's your name?" Rin asked.
"Koro Sensei."
Rin laughed. "I'll see about that."
"Is there anything else you'd like to say before you take your seat?"
He shook his head. "No, but I do have some questions."
"Oh, this will be good," a rooster haired boy scoffed.
"First, am I legitimately supposed to kill you?"
"You can try," he said. Odd green stripes appearing on his face. "Though it's not likely you will succeed."
Rin gave a thoughtful nod. "Will you answer my next question honestly?"
"I don't see why not."
"Could fire kill or trap you?"
"It could very well kill me, and it would trap me very well. Now please take your seat next to Nagisa."
A blue haired boy waved his hand with a smile.
"Alright class, let's begin…"
…
Rin thought it was odd the teacher would willingly give up that information, he also thought it was odd that they were spending PE practicing hand to hand combat.
"Hey," Nagisa said. "Can you really see demons?"
Rin nodded. "Most places are very scarce in population, though there's a few more than normal around this school."
"That's cool, but you should probably get up," he said, rubbing the back of his neck. "Karasuma sensei won't like it that you're slacking."
Rin was sitting on the hill above the rest of the class. The teacher, the same one who had briefed Rin, was glaring at him. The demon tilted his head and flipped the bird toward the teacher.
He heard several students gasp, Nagisa's 'oh no', and Karma grinned, saying, "I like this guy."
The teacher promptly called him down. "What do you think you are doing?"
He scoffed. "Watching amateurs play with toy knives."
Karasuma's glare deepened. "Class! Gather round," he said.
Whispers of Rin's untimely demise went around the class, Karma watched with a grin, Nagisa next to him with worry.
"Alright Rin, you think you're so tough? You and I will fight."
Rin dramatically shifted to a low fight stance with a grin, finally showing his fangs.
That was the first thing that threw Karasuma off, giving Rin his opening to attack first. The teacher dodged and tried to grab Rin's arm to throw him. But when he tried, he immediately let go, giving a gasp of pain. Rin used his other arm and threw an elbow into the man's gut.
"Alright class," Rin grinned. "Where did Karasuma Sensei go wrong?" He asked as the man started to try and assault him, Rin dodging expertly. Several times Karasuma tried to grab him, only to gasp in pain and let go.
"First, he picked a fight with the wrong person," Rin said. Quicker than any of the student's could see, he ducked a punch and stood behind the Karasuma and kicked the back of his knee, causing him to fall to the ground.
"Second, he didn't know anything about me." Karasuma rolled away and got back up, pulling out a real knife.
Rin gave a demonic chuckle. "And third," he said as the man charged him. "He brought a knife to a sword fight."
Out of nowhere, Rin pulled a green katana and had the man on his knees in front of him with the sword to his neck. Karasuma sensei dropped his knife, and uttered his defeat.
Rin laughed and stabbed the sword into the ground. "When picking a fight, make sure you've observed your opponent, and know exactly what they are capable of. For instance, I had been watching you for half of class, sure you were going easy on them, but it still gave me an idea of how you fought."
"Where did you pull that sword?" He asked, panting for breath.
The class stood awestruck and still couldn't believe what had happened.
Rin removed his jacket and top shirt, which had been torn during the fight, leaving him in a white tank top, on each of his shoulders a tattoo.
Rin Grabbed the sword, put it to his shoulder and muttered to himself before he pushed the sword into the marking, allowing it to disappear.
"What in the world?" Karasuma breathed. The glass gave various gasps.
"If I Kill the teacher, I get to go back to True Cross, right?"
"I guess."
Rin smirked and walked away, the student's flocking him.
"DUDE, how did you do that?"
"I could have sworn I saw him grab you like, 30 times."
Rin nodded. "He did, but he couldn't keep his grip. I burnt him off of me."
"What do you mean by that?" Nagisa asked.
Rin held up his hand and an orb of blue fire ignited. "You could say I'm a bit of a pyro."
…
In class Rin was being scolded.
"You need to show respect to your teachers, and I can not believe you. How did you cause Karasuma second degree burns?"
"Koro Sensei, I really don't like being lectured." He drawled.
"Good, because that should teach you to not do anything like this again."
"Sir, I respect what you're trying to do here, and you've done a great job. I've done my reading, scores are up, these kids are exemplary. But here's the thing. I don't want to be here, and I could kill you at any minute."
His face went a cherry red and he spoke. "Yes, I've heard you are very fast, but not as fast as me."
"Mach 20 doesn't do you any good if I can light you on fire from where I stand." He said, his face unwavering.
"I… I don't understand."
Rin stood from his chair and looked up. "My brother sent me here, yes I'm failing, but I could have easily made that up. I'm smart and I know that, but my brother absolutely despises me, complete and utter disdain. My other seven brothers and sister have been waiting for me for several days now.
"They're going to teach me how to use the full extent of my power, because the humans have taught me all that they can."
"Humans?" The class echoed their teacher.
Rin took a breath, and as he slowly exhaled the room was engulfed in flames. The class marveld at them after their initial shock.
"What are you?" Nagisa asked.
"A demon," he smirked. Karma's grin couldn't have been any wider. Slowly the flames dissipated, but stayed around the teacher.
"I can control where they go, who they burn, and how hot they are," his grin demonic. "But for now," Rin sat, pulled out his book and pencil. Getting rid of the flames around Koro Sensei. "I suppose I'll do as my jerk twin wants and be a good little student."
Review please.
