It was a dark stormy night in Yokohama Japan. Many brave civilians rushed towards their errands, jobs, or places they needed to be despite the rain. It was just a typical night for some people. However, this did not mean that the storm was soft. It was a rather harsh storm with winds and a freezing cold. A lot of people complained about this weather, but for ten year old Kota, this place was paradise. He loved the rain, and the cold since his powers or quirk was water related. He had the ability to manifest water and control it as his will. It took him time to practice, but he was getting the hang of it. However, the boy didn't have the time to enjoy this weather. He too was in a rush. And time was seriously running out.
"Eri, do you copy?" asked Kota through a chip on his ear. It looked like a hearing aid, but in reality it was a small radio, built to contact others.
"I'm here Kota kun." said Kota's friend, Eri. She was a powerful girl around Kota's age who had the ability to reverse time and heal. It was a power only she could control and her quirk was made a total secret.
"Stop calling Kota kun. Just Kota is enough Eri." said Kota.
"I'm being polite. No need to be over worked. Anyway, you are only two steps away from the building." said Eri.
"Okay. I'm here. I think." said Kota looking at a large black wharehouse by the harbor. How he made it there he never knew, but he got there alright with some of Eri's help.On the other end, Eri was in her room, secretly using the microphone and her own phone given to her as a gift by the UA High Students. She had to whisper through her microphone to reach Kota and guide him using a GPS.
"Okay, time to settle this." said Kota as he sneaked inside the building through an old window and managed to hide in the shadows. He slowly climbed into some rafters and found himself on the very top, spying on what appeared to be a Gangster Dinner.
"I'm telling you Don Nut! We don't have time to deal with the banks! If the police find out we are embezzling on money, we will get hanged for this!" cried a skinny man who appeared to be a banker. The Ganster, Don Nut was famous in Yokohama, known for his patience, and very easy going nature. He had a charimsa about him that it was so hard to imagine this kind man as a cold blooded gangster as described by some. Don Nut looked at the banker and calmly spoke.
"You worry too much. Just do what I have asked you and you'll be fine. Besides, have some doughnuts." said Don Nut as he pushed some of them towards the skinny banker.
"I uh..." the man didn't know what else to say for he stamered a lot and the Don felt his uneasyness.
"Want to know why I call myself Don Nut? It's because I'm a fan of Don Knotts. He was a famous American Actor and I own most of his movies. And I like doughnuts too. Which is why I have this name." said the Gangster.
The banker nodded with a nervous smile."No need to be shy my dear friend. I am doing you a favor and you are saving me too. You see, I'm a man of buisness. I owe money to some of my heavy friends in Tokyo. I am simply an agent of money and buisness." said the man.
"I don't know sir... My boss at work is getting suspicuos. He already questioned two workers." said the man.
The Don smiled and chuckled. "You know, I like you. But I want to let you know beforehand, accidents tend to happen to most of my friends. I wouldn't want you to be caught up in an accident." said the Don.
Kota, who was watching this quickly whispered. "Eri, are you recording all this?" asked Kota.
"I am. Every shocking word." said Eri.
"Good. Now it's showtime." said Kota.
"Kota, what do you mean? You don't mean... Kota wait. Let's talk with..." But before Eri would finish, Kota sprang into action and used threw water balloons at the table, scaring the cowardly banker.
The Don stood up and looked up at Kota landed on the table.
"Don Nut! Your buisnesses are over!" cried Kota.
"W-Water Hose!? Your just a child? That means your a sidekick. Everyone stand your ground. Where there's a sidekick, there's an adult hero among us!" cried the Don.
"No. I'm the only one here. And I am here!" cried Kota, hoping to bring fear to the Don, and copying the style of his favorite heroes.
The don was not impressed."You mean to tell me you came here alone? Then I have nothing to worry about. Guards, take the kid and kick him out! His quirk is not at it's full potential yet." said the Don.
Kota then controlled the water from the water bottles he had on his belt and used them as a whip to hit the gangsters. Some of them even pulled guns.
"Dont shoot the boy! If you do, one way or another he will wind up missing and eventually his body will be found! You want full grown adult heroes to track us down?! Most of them have the gear to track who the killer is!" cried the Don.
"Wow, that was a lot of explaining!" said Kota as he continued to hit the gangsters with whips.
One of the Gangsters freaked out and dropped his gun. It eventually shot a bullet, hitting the wall.Eri who was on the other end was shocked. "What was that?! A gun?! I'm getting help!" cried Eri who was panicking.
"No don't! Aw Great! Now I'm in trouble." said Kota.
"You miserable brat! Thanks to you, the gunshot was heard, now the police will be here in minutes! Forget the kid! Let's run for it!" cried the Don.The banker was trying to get out, but the door was closed.
"What is this? Why won't it open?!" cried the Banker. The Don approuched with a pistol in hand.
"We had to tightly secure it in case someone would come. But it didn't work. How did that kid end up in here?" said the Don as he fired at the door, getting rid of the cheaply made lock.
Just then, a loud explosion boomed into the wharehouse and Kota ducked. As he got up, he nervously stood aside."What's all this?" asked the Don looking back.
Standing on the broken woooden pieces was a boy in his late teens, wearing a green jumpsuit and white gloves. The colors were instantly reconizable. This was the hero, Deku.
"That cannot be!" cried the Don as he grabbed a gun and aimed it at the banker.
"Don't move, or the banker gets it!" sneered the Don.
"What are you doing bastard!" cried the Banker.
"Shut up fool!" cried the Don.Deku didn't move. He stood there watching the two men and shook his head.
"The police are on thier way. You two should just give up." said Deku.It was true. The police did arrive and the Don threw the banker on the floor.
"I cannot be seen!" cried the Don as he was about to make an epic escape. But it failed. The police arrived and aimed their guns at the Don and the other gangsters.
"Freeze! Don't move!" they cried.
Deku stood aside and Kota was next to him. Kota knew he was in trouble. He tried to grab Deku's hand, but he moved it aside.
"Let's go." he said seriously to Kota. The boy had no choice but to follow him.
"Get on my back." said Deku as he lowered himself. Kota grabbed a hold of him and Deku jumped high into the air, avoiding any press or more poilce officers to ask him questions.Deku then landed on the top of a building and Kota got down. He knew what was coming. A scolding from Deku, then getting grounded for a few days doing chores. Heck even Eri will have to do those things. Deku turned to Kota with his arms folded.
"I just want to say this... GOOD JOB!" cried Deku.
Kota looked up confused."You did sneak off without telling me, but you had Eri as a backup and that was good! You didn't do this alone and for that , I'm proud of you my sidekick!" said Deku patting Kota's head.
"Your not mad? I thought you were." said Kota.
"I was worried and a little bit mad, but not anymore. The Don is in jail now, and you are safe. Next time, ask before you do something. But good job little brother." said Deku.
Kota ran up and hugged Deku tightly."Let's go visit Uravity and let her know everything is alright. Then we can go home and binge watch monster movies. What do you say?" asked Deku.
"Sure. Let's go." said Kota.
