Welcome everyone! I hope everyone is ready for the new chapter. I want to first thank everyone for the support. I appreciate the reviews and glad people are enjoying this sequel.

I'm glad the sequel is going well, along with my other sequels too. Okay, so far things are going well, and we'll soon get to some more fights. Now, I should bring up that James is Steve Roger's kid and he inherited the Super Soldier serum abilities. Luckily the kid didn't end up like Red Skull, huh?

Still, I'm glad I brought him into the story. You really can't have a crossover like this without Captain America. Also, in this version, Cap is the one who sacrificed himself instead of Tony. Like how it looks like they were originally going to go.

Still, is he going to be enough to help his friends against Darkseid? What will happen when Darkseid sends his army to attack the others? Think they'll have a chance to win? And is he going to do the same thing his dad did?

Tune in today to find out and also again thank you to everyone for the support. I appreciate all the support on the stories, and I hope everyone likes this new story. I don't own anything from Marvel or DC they are both owned separately. So, without any further delays let's get started and enjoy the story!

Chapter VIII

Avengers/Hall of Justice HQ

After their encounter with the League of Assassins, James Carter aka Captain America and his allies brought back Victor Stone with the Mind Stone. Aya took Victor to get repaired for the damages he suffered during his fight. All while James went to speak with Jason, Kara, Abby, and Lyra to go over the situation.

They now know that the League of Assassins are working with Vandal Savage. They now know it was them that helped capture Christopher and came after the Mind Stone. Slade went with his daughter to go find out who else could be working with the Light. They have to assume that any major criminal that Superman hadn't killed will be working with the Light.

If this is true, then they have to be prepared for some more old faces to pop up. Jason has informed them that his mother is on her way with the Ravagers, while Kymera informed them her father has given her permission to take some of Wakanda's army with her when she returns. However, the remaining army will remain in Wakanda to keep their home safe. This was fine since they didn't want to risk leaving Wakanda defenseless.

"Rachel's team have located exactly where the ship that took Christopher is at," said Jason as he shows where the ship his friends have are at. "They'll wait until it comes out of hyperspace before they can attack. Once they get Chris and the Time Stone then they'll head back home."

"Assuming Bruce won't do anything reckless like my dad did," said Abby who figures Bruce isn't as foolish as her father was long ago. "Still no contact from them?"

Kara shook her head in response. "Its possible that they are going radio silence in order to free Chris. Or the other is they might have been captured."

"Possible, but then again with who else Batman is with onboard its very unlikely," said Lyra figuring with Ben, Ezra, and Raven by Batman's side they are avoiding capture.

"Let's hope once they get Chris freed they'll head back home," said James as he begins pressing a button on the table to show the hologram of Talia al Ghul. "So, where are we at with finding the League of Assassins and whoever else is on their side?"

Kara pressed a button on her side of the table to provide what they have. "These are the known locations where the League of Assassins have been in hiding. We had a few of our allies check these places out, but they've been abandoned for some time."

"So, we have to assume they found a new hideout where they are holding up in," said Jason as he finishes the rest of the info they have.

"Thanks to Brainiac, they know about Brother Eye and are doing all they can to keep out of sight," said Abby as she begins accessing Brother Eye to find out where the assassins could be at but found nothing. "They must be using low-tech to avoid being spotted."

"Good news is we've managed to locate all the supervillains that the Justice League had encountered before in the past," Lyra shows the different images of the villains. "Many of them are either dead, locked up, or retired. However, none of the ones that retired were ever approached by the Light. The ones we couldn't find though we've been unable to track down. So, some bad news there."

"Except Diana," said Kara knowing they only have one person that can lead them to the enemy. "We've managed to capture her. So, that's some good news."

"Too bad she isn't going to give us anything," said Jason as he sighed softly. "I wish we had Rachel look into her mind before she took off. Probably could have gotten us something."

"We can always call in Megan," Lyra suggested.

"No," Kara replied as she crossed her arms. "Megan is still upset with what Diana did to her and we're worried she might end up frying her brain."

"What's wrong with that?" Abby asked not seeing an issue there. "The bitch is too far gone and this way she can never harm people ever again."

"Because it's not what we do, Abby," said James voting against doing something like what Abby suggested. "She may be our enemy, but we can't cross the same as she did. No matter what."

Abby sighed softly figuring James would disagree with her. "I'm aware, but it doesn't mean we shouldn't throw it out as an option," Abby begins rubbing the back of her neck as she looks over all they know. "Is there another way we can get her to open up? Tell us what we need to know?"

"Kal might," said Kara, but she knew that wasn't a good idea. "But I don't want to bring him back in case he sees how bad things are and then tries to take over."

"We should keep that option open though," said James. "I know what he's done, but you also said he seem to have given up on it and wants to give you all a chance. It doesn't mean we can't rely on him to help us out."

Kara understood what James is saying, but she still had some small doubts about it. "I'll consider it as a last option if we can't get her to open up. I might try talking to her to see if it will work."

"Or we can get my mom to talk to her," said Jason as the others looked at him confused. "What? The two may hate each other, but she knows what it's like working for a psychopathic monster. She might be able to get through to her."

"We'll think about it," said Abby as she looks over the Mind Stone. "First, we need to get the stone out of Victor and then take it somewhere safe. We also need to get ready to head to the battlefield."

"Or we should just destroy the stone," they look over to see Alexis walking into the room with Donatello. "We just got word that Darkseid has launched a full-scale invasion on New Genesis. Which means it won't be long before he gets his hands on the Reality Stone."

"By my calculations, the odds of Darkseid getting the stone…" Donnie sighed as he puts away his tablet. "Well, let's just say we have a much better chance defeating him if we destroy the Mind Stone."

"Yeah, that was already discussed Donnie, but we're not going to do it just yet," said Abby who didn't feel they need to destroy the stone yet. "We will destroy it if things get bad."

"And right now, doesn't count as being bad?" Alexis asked. "The guy still has a large army, he has two of the Infinity Stones, and he could already have gotten the other two."

"Without the Soul Stone, he won't be able to complete his mission," said Lyra knowing the odds are still in their favor. "Even if he did get it, I don't think any of his followers have anyone they love so much that they would sacrifice them for it."

"Don't be so sure about that," they see Harley Quinn walking into the room twirling her baseball bat in hand. "Darkseid probably is aware of this and is going to make sure one of them sacrifice their loved one to get what they want. And a lot of them, as cold as they, have someone they love."

"Like Adam," said Jason figuring Black Adam would probably kill his own wife to get revenge on everyone else. "Why doesn't that surprise me."

"If that does happen then we better be ready for Darkseid to get the Soul Stone," said Lyra.

"Which is why we should destroy the stone," said Donnie while confused on why Abby isn't considering doing what needs to be done. "What? Do you plan to use the stones against him?"

"Something like that," said Kara as she gives a little hint about their plan.

"Something like…" Alexis knew if they have a plan then she should trust that it will work…hopefully. "All right. So, mind telling us the plan?"

"Later," said Abby as she turns to Donnie. "I want you and your brothers to get ready. We'll be leaving soon to get ready for the fight. We just need to hold off his army long enough until Chris and the others return. Once they come back, then we'll begin our counterattack."

"Well, we better do it soon then before Darkseid decides to send his army here and destroy the place like Thanos did with the old headquarters long ago," said James knowing they have no time to waste. "I also think we should try questioning Diana before we head to the battlefield."

"Well, like I said my mom will be here soon and she'll talk to her when she arrives," said Jason as he prepares to go when he turns to Kara. "You all right?"

Kara nods as she looks down at the table. "I trust your mom will be able to get the job done, but I feel like this will take too long a time. We need to get all the information we can get from Diana soon. Before it's too late. And I know Kal might be the only one who can do that."

"It's still too risky," said Abby knowing that idea is way too risky for them to take.

"So is this plan of ours," said Kara knowing the odds of their plan succeeding is still thinner than her plan. "We should give mine a chance. If it doesn't work, then…you do what you have to do."

Abby turns to James and then to Lyra before she sighed softly. "Fine. Make it quick and make sure he's kept on restraints. Jason, go with Megan and Lyra to wait for Zatanna to lock Diana up. Got it?"

Jason nods before he turns to his wife. "Are you sure about this?"

Kara leans in and gives him a small kiss before she nods in response. "We have to try and see if he's ready to trust us."

Jason smiled and nods in agreement before the team begin taking off. Leaving just James with Abby. "You think this is going to work? I mean, it should work since it's all going like Chris said it would, but do you think it's still too risky?" Abby asked.

James sighed softly and looks down at the table. "I don't know. I want to say it will work and everything will be okay. But I'm sure my dad said the same thing years ago when they did their time heist to get the stones back. And look how that went."

Abby knew all too well how that all went and is just glad her father made it out alive. But she did feel bad that James' father didn't survive.

"Well, let's hope history won't repeat itself then," said Abby who is hoping this time things will work. "I also get it. Your nervous."

James turns to Abby and tried to shrug off what she said. "Nervous? I'm not nervous. This is just like any other mission we've been on before."

"None of them come close as this," said Abby as she sits down on her chair. "We've been pretty fortunate to have never been through the same kinds of missions our parents went through. At least, those that have driven them apart and have a genocidal maniac trying to wipe out half of life in the universe. But we both know that our past missions don't come close to right now."

James sighed knowing Abby isn't wrong. Ever since Thanos, their world has never encountered a huge of a threat as him. When they took over as the New Avengers, their missions have been simple. Sure, they did have to deal with alien invasions, but never the kind of level that their parents had with Thanos.

So, this was different, and James was worried about leading the team. He knows he isn't like his father. He can't come up with inspiring speeches like him, he never led an army during a war, and never had to make the difficult choices like he did. So, he's worried about living up this father's expectation and is scared he'll fail.

Abby knew this and knew James is worried he'll never be as great of a hero like his father. She gets up and walks over to him before kissing him on the cheek to get him out of his funk.

"We're not our fathers. We both have shown that time and time again. However," Abby placed her hand on his hand and smiles at him. "We do have their heart, courage, and fighting spirit. Stop trying to be like your father and be yourself. Trust me, it helps. If I tried to be a lot like my father, I would be a train wreck."

James chuckled softly and grasps her hand before he nods. "Thanks Abby. I appreciate it."

Abby gave a small chuckle back before she gives him a hug. "Anytime," she soon broke the hug and picks up his shield before handing it to him. "Just promise me that you won't break this like your dad did when he fought Thanos."

James took the shield and sighed softly. "Just promise me you won't fight Darkseid on your own like your dad did."

Abby gave a loud 'Ha!' response before she puts on her watch. "Trust me. Unlike my dad, I'm not that crazy. If I did end up fighting Darkseid though, trust me. He's going to be in for a rude awakening."

James didn't doubt that as he moves his shield to his back before they begin walking towards the door. "Kymera knows where we're fighting?"

"Yeah and she should be there soon," said Abby as the two go out the door and head towards their ride.

Wakanda (Marvel Universe)

Millions of years ago, a meteorite, which contained one of the strongest substances in the universe, struck the continent of Africa. This substance was called, Vibranium. Affecting the plant life around it. And when the time of men came, five tribes settled on it and called it Wakanda.

One day, one of the tribes found a plant, which had been mutated thanks to the Vibranium. Upon ingesting the herb, the person is imbued with superhuman abilities and they were used to help unite the tribes together. Over time, the Wakandans used the metal to develop technology that was far more highly advanced than any other in existance.

To protect themselves from the chaos of the world, they created a cloaking field that protected them and their technology from falling into the wrong hands.

However, T'Challa, the King of Wakanda knew this was wrong. He found out the sins of his father's past, what he did to his own brother, his nephew, and how they turned their back on the world. They turned their back on their people. So, T'Challa chose to change all of that.

Thanks to some encouragement from his wife, Ororo and daughter, Kymera. T'Challa helped unified all of Africa and together they were able to bring peace to their country. They even helped provide aid to other parts of the world. Bringing more peace and helping ease conflict.

Now though, it seems war has return to the world. Kymera told her father about Darkseid, what he is after, and how they are preparing to fight his army when he arrives. However, they're going to need some help. Many of their allies have joined them in the fight, but Kymera is hoping to give them some more soldiers.

"Father, I appreciate all you have done and I'm sorry for putting the lives of our people in danger like this," said Kymera who appreciates what her father has done, but she still feels uneasy about bringing her people to the other universe to fight in a war that doesn't involve them.

"You do not need to apologize," said T'Challa as the two walked down the fields, while their army prepares for battle. "I understand why you came to me to ask for our people to help your friends. I know if I were in your position, I would have done the same thing."

"And would grandfather have said yes?" Kymera asked knowing the stories of her grandfather and what he was like.

T'Challa sighed as he stops walking and turns to his daughter. "Your grandfather…was afraid. Afraid of what would happen if the truth came out about our home and how many would hurt our people to get what they want. That is why he chose to keep our secret hidden and prevent us from helping others when we had the ability to do so. And unfortunately, that led to more suffering."

Kymera knew what her father meant. She knew long ago her uncle, Erik Killmonger, lost his father, who was her grandfather's brother. He found out that his brother was trying to use the stolen Vibranium to give to black people to rise up against their oppressors. Her grandfather ended up killing his brother and left Erik behind.

Erik grew up being filled with hate and wanted to take over Wakanda. Not to rule as king, but to use their technology to overthrow the governments of the world. Help their people rise up to power. And suppress all those who stand against them.

Her father fought against him and killed Erik. But he knew that Erik was right and wanted to use Wakanda's resources to help the world. It took some time, but with the help from Tony Stark and their allies the Avengers, they were able to help the world. And when he met Ororo…they were able to help their people.

"Do you believe if things turned out differently that night then my uncle could still be here with us?" Kymera asked.

T'Challa sighed as he looks out from where they stood unsure how things could have turned out if his father had brought Erik back home. He has thought about that every day since his cousin's death.

"Perhaps things could have gone differently," said T'Challa hoping that maybe in another life things could have gone differently. "Perhaps he could have helped change your grandfather's mind and provide aid to our people without more loss of life. At least, that's what I hope would have been possible."

Kymera wished for the same thing and if he was brought back with him then she could have known him better. Even be happy to have an uncle who wanted to help people and never becoming what he once was.

"You didn't answer the question though," said Kymera bringing up the question she asked earlier. "If grandfather was still here and you were in my position, would he had said yes?"

T'Challa didn't forget the question. He told his daughter what her grandfather was like and what his answer would have been if he was in her position.

"Yes, no, it doesn't matter. I wouldn't have stand by and watch the world burn when I have a chance to help save it," T'Challa then placed his right hand on his daughter's shoulder and smiles. "I also know if your father was still here, she wouldn't have hesitated to join me in fighting against our enemies."

Kymera smiled knowing her father is right. If her mother was alive then she would have gone after Darkseid and put him in his place.

T'Challa looks over to see the Jabari clan have arrived and sees M'Baku is here with his children. "It seems you've invited the twins to join you."

Kymera looks over to see Nailah and her twin brother Kovu. Nailah has short black hair, blue eyes, and wearing a black armor that she customized herself. Her brother Kovu is about a few feet taller than his sister, with short black hair, blue eyes, while wearing a custom silver armor with some fur on it, and a silver metal mask that looks like an ape. Kymera though knew despite trying to look intimidating, he was a softie.

"I figured if I'm going to lead our people to fight, I'm going to need their help," said Kymera who was nervous about leading an army for the first time. "I know I'm not as good as you when it comes to leading an army into battle, but I promise not to let you down."

"Kymera, do you know when the first time I ever led our people into battle?" T'Challa asked his daughter getting a 'no' response. "When we fought against Thanos. I never led our people into a battle before and deep down I was afraid of screwing up. Hell, I even lost my throne within a few days after being crowned."

"Not sure if your trying to make me feel better or make me feel bad for you," said Kymera who completely forgot her father's first reign didn't even last long.

"My point is, we will all make mistakes. Every leader, king, and even president will make mistakes, but the point is we must learn from them. Overcome those mistakes and make sure we don't repeat them again. I learned from my mistakes and I made sure not to make them," said T'Challa who knew he made up for all those mistakes and became a better person than he was before. "And because I learned from those mistakes, I was able to help raise a daughter who not only willing to keep all life safe but is also willing to protect it from even darkness itself."

T'Challa begins removing his royal ring and soon presents it to his daughter. "One day, I will no longer be here, but I know when I am gone that our home will be safe. It will be safe with you, because I believe in you and…" he soon points to their people who all stood by ready to fight. "They believe in you too. Show them what you are capable of and show your enemies why they should never try making you mad."

Kymera couldn't help but feel so much joy with what her father said. Not only does he trust his daughter, but so does her people. She kept her tears back and smiles happily at her father before taking the ring. She puts it on and soon moves her hand up to the necklace she has before the nanites begin emerging as her Black Panther suit soon appeared around her body.

Kymera places her arms over her chest to her father, who does the same. "Go, show Darkseid what Wakanda is capable of."

Hyperspace (DC Universe)

On board the ship that was sent to retrieve the Time Stone, Christopher is seen hovering over off the floor with his arms and legs tied up. He appears unconscious, but he still has the medallion with the Time Stone still around his neck. His cloak is locked in a container nearby as it tried to get freed. But it couldn't get freed from the container.

Chris begins to slowly wake up as he groaned softly. He begins slowly opening his eyes as he begins remembering what happened. How he was fighting against Bane, how he defeated him, and then ended up getting knocked out. He didn't know by who, but he figures wherever he's at right now can't be good.

Soon the door opened, and he sees a pale disfigured man wearing a cloak over his body. He appears in the room with two Parademons with him.

"I can assume you aren't the maid that came to clean the room?" Chris joked as he found he was unable to use his magic. "Because I have to tell you, this place smells pretty badly. Oh wait, must be your two friends here."

The man didn't say anything, but instead pressed a button on the side of the wall to reveal a number of different devices. "My name is DeSaad. I am a servant of Darkseid and I'm his master torturer."

Chris closed his eyes and groaned softly now figuring where this is going. "So, you aren't the maid that came here to clean the room."

DeSaad pulls out one of the devices and turns towards the boy. "I have served my master for years. Helping him torture his enemies, break them, and make them serve my master. I am quite good at my job and never once have I failed him. Though it seems his allies failed him."

DeSaad sets one of the devices down on a nearby table before he pulls out the next one and examines it. "My master had ordered them to bring me the Time Stone, so I may present it to my master. Now, their excuse was that you placed a spell on the medallion to keep the stone safe from removal."

He sets the device down and goes for the next one. "If I were to reach our destination while the stone remains around your little neck. It will appear to my master that I failed him to do something so simple."

"So, hence the name master torturer, you plan to torture me to remove the medallion then," said Chris as he begins chuckling softly. "Buddy, my father trained me to withstand shit like this. So, not really concerned there."

"Is that so?" DeSaad asked as he sets down another device before turning to the human. "Do you have any idea how many have said the exact same thing?"

"I can only guess from your reaction…ten?" Chris asked.

"Thousands," DeSaad replied before turning away from the boy. "Maybe more. I stopped counting after the last few thousands I tortured. Regardless, there is no one that Darkseid has send me that I couldn't break. You will be no different, unless you surprise me and make this easy by handing me the stone."

Chris just stares at the sadistic torturer knowing that nothing he does will prevent the pain that is coming to him. "Let's be honest. Even if I did give up the stone, you're still going to torture me. So, why bother?"

"Hmm it seems you aren't as stupid as you look after all," said DeSaad as he grabs one of the new devices he pulled from the wall and begins approaching the boy. "I suppose it really doesn't matter. The stone will belong to my master soon enough and the universe will become his very…"

Suddenly they heard a knock coming from the door. The Parademons turn to the door and then to DeSaad.

"What are you waiting for? Check it out," said DeSaad as he orders the creatures to check it out.

The creatures go to open the door when two black bird talons appeared on the door. They grab the Parademons and are pulled into the black voice before disappearing. DeSaad saw the Parademons disappeared and stood on his guard. Wondering what just happened.

It couldn't be the boy's allies. They left the planet before any of them could get onboard. He also knew there was no way they caught up to them while in hyperspace. He begins using his telepathy to lift the torture devices as he got ready to use them. Ready to destroy any fool that thinks they can interfere with…

Suddenly he saw a glowing gold outline appear around him in a circle and he soon goes through a portal that was formed. The portal appeared in space as DeSaad is seen floating in the vacuum of space, dead.

The door soon opened as Chris sees Ezra and Raven standing behind there. "H-hey there. I was wondering who would come to my rescue."

Ezra rushes over to free Chris, while Raven frees the cloak from the container. Chris is helped down as the cloak attaches to him again.

"How did you guys get here?" Chris asked as he tries to get some feeling back in his legs.

"We found a way. Don't worry about it," said Ezra as he helps his friend lean against the wall.

"Did you guys come alone?" Chris asked wondering who else is here.

He got his answer as a Parademon is seen being flung across the hallway towards the wall. A Batarang hits its face and soon it explodes killing it. Out in the hallway, Batman is seen fighting against the Parademons with Ben as he uses his Iron Spider suit to have four spider legs appear to help him take down the Parademons. And has Sym merge around his suit to help his attacks hit their mark.

Ben thrusts his hand forward as Sym launches a tendril through one of the Parademons killing it through the chest. Batman takes down another Parademon before seeing five more heading their way. Batman throws a flash grenade at them causing them to get disoriented. Ezra activates his lightsaber and has the two masked heroes duck.

Ezra throws his weapon and uses the Force to help guide it towards the enemy. His lightsaber slashes the heads of the Parademons off before he uses the Force to call back his weapon to his hand. Ezra deactivates his lightsaber and soon helps his friend up to his feet. With Raven going over to check on Ben.

Batman walks over to Chris to see how he's doing. "How are you feeling?"

"Like hell, but I'll be all right," said Chris as Raven hands him his Sling Ring. "Thanks. Is this everyone?"

Ben nods in response. "Everyone who managed to get on board the ship before we took off."

"We were just on our way to get control of the ship when Ezra sensed you were in danger. So, we came here to free you," said Raven as she hears more Parademons heading their way. "Now they know we're here."

"Not for long," said Chris as he prepares to use his Sling Ring. "I'll open us up a portal and make our way home."

"We tried it already," said Ezra as he brings up what happened. "We tried to use it to get some backup or maybe use it to teleport the ship back to Earth. But it didn't work."

"It seems to only work to teleport anything out into space and that's it," said Batman as he sets up some small devices against the wall. "We'll need to take over the ship soon before we get to where we're going."

Chris looks around the ship and figures they must have put an incantation to prevent them from teleporting out of the ship. They were taking some extra precaution just in case something like this happens. It looks like they aren't as incompetent as he thought they were. This is bad though and this means they'll have to find a way out of here.

"Then we better get moving soon," said Chris as he managed to get some strength back in his legs. "The guy mentioned how his master is going to be waiting for us wherever this ship is going. So, we better get out of here before then."

"Yeah, about that," Ezra begins speaking up about what he thinks they should do. "What if and just hear me out. What if we confront Darkseid? I mean, he doesn't know we took out his guy, he doesn't know the stone is with you and we have him outnumbered. Why not, take him down?"

"Because we can't beat him," said Batman knowing how strong Darkseid is. "He's too powerful. Even without the stones he's too much for any of us to beat. Even Clark couldn't beat him completely. Our best bet is to get back home and prepare for his arrival."

"What if he ends up coming to Earth and uses the Power Stone to destroy the planet?" Ezra knows how powerful the stone is and what it can do if Darkseid unleashes it on the planet. "He might do it if it means getting rid of us and getting his hands on the Mind Stone."

Raven knew that was a possibility, especially how Darkseid isn't like Savage or the other villains they've fought before. "If he has no other choice, he might end up doing that."

"Whoa, whoa. Hold on a second," Ben begins stepping in. "Ezra, I love you buddy and I appreciate you saving my butt a couple of times. But that's a dumb idea. The last time something like this happened, the Avengers got their asses kicked and half the universe got snapped."

"He's right," said Chris who agrees with Ben. "We shouldn't risk the lives of the universe to try fighting against someone we are clearly outmatched to beat. Trust me, Ezra. This is something we shouldn't try. If we do this, we'll lose."

"I know that and believe me I wouldn't be suggesting it unless I knew it was more dangerous if we take him back to Earth to fight him there," said Ezra knowing wherever this ship is going should be devoid of life and it will lessen less lives to be lost. "I'm just saying we should at least try and if things do go wrong, we can…"

"Enough!" Batman replied as he sees more Parademons arriving and was focusing on trying to take care of them, while listening to what the kids were saying.

Once the Parademons got close, the devices on the wall activated and begin shocking the monsters. Raven uses her magic to teleport them away before Batman begins approaching the four kids.

"Ezra, I understand your reason for why we should fight Darkseid. Believe me. I've considered it knowing that with the Power Stone he could use it to wipe out our planet," said Batman who knew the risks about fighting Darkseid on their world. "But I know him. He won't do it because he wants to make us suffer. Destroying our world will be too easy for him. I know why you feel we should do this but trust me when I say if we fight Darkseid on his terms then we'll lose."

Ezra listened carefully to what Batman said and still believed they should take the chance. But he knew there was no point in arguing with Batman. He's right. This is his universe, he knows Darkseid more than them, and he has to listen to him.

"Your right. I'm sorry," Ezra apologized. "I just don't want any more innocent lives to be lost."

Batman understood and wasn't upset with what Ezra said, since he had thought about it before. "Don't apologize. I agree with you we shouldn't risk fighting Darkseid on Earth, but it's a risk we have to take. Now, let's get to work on turning this ship around. Before Darkseid finds out what happened and comes after us."

That's the end of the chapter and it looks like the team are going to do everything they can to get back home. That's a good move since they shouldn't try fighting a guy who isn't like Thanos at all. Let's be honest, Darkseid doesn't care about shortage of resources. All he cares about is making the universe submit under his feet.

So, Batman is right about not wanting to take on Darkseid on his terms. Still, think they'll end up fighting him anyways with where they are going? Also, I hope everyone enjoyed the scene with Kymera and her father. I wanted to give them some time in the story before the big fight starts.

Also, yes M'Baku has two kids. Its my story, so I say he has two kids. Both good friends with Kymera and are going to show Darkseid the might of the Jabari. How do you think that's going to go? And we getting close to the big fight?

Tune in next time to find out. If you guys like how this went then please leave some comments, please. Nothing negative or any flame reviews please. Those are not allowed around here.

I will see you all next time, be safe, and take care everyone.
