The first sign he got that something strange was going to happen was when a purple dragon had decided to enter the room. For some strange reason he couldn't help but simply stair at the absurd sight unable to comprehend how a dragon of all things could be purple.

This wasn't even a sedate purple, but a very bright stand out in the darkness type of purple that many would call royal purple. If that wasn't enough the new dragon actually had a cheery sunny yellow for a secondary color that made their natural purple stand out even more.

Their purple eyes seemed to scan the room briefly before finally locking onto his green ones and staring at him. At the same time this happened however Harry couldn't help but feel like he was being judged by some unseen force.

Just as soon as it happened however the pressure seemed to ease as the purple dragon let out a chuckle and spoke.

"You have a strong spirit kid and don't let anyone tell you otherwise… name's Spyro and from what I'm told your name is Harry, correct?"

The young dragon couldn't help but nod slowly as he continued to look at the older dragon in front of him. "So… any particular reason you've decided to come visit or is this just a simple meet and greet?"

For a moment the purple dragon was quiet as he continued to stare at the teenager in contemplation before his eyes finally moved towards a certain spot on his forehead. "Truth be told I only came here for a meet and greet but now… any idea on what is going on with your forehead?"

Hesitantly the green eyed dragon raised one of his forelimbs to rub the area where his scar would be. Like many times before however he could only feel the smooth surface of his scales and he could only feel some satisfactions that the scar that marked who he was had been hidden.

However, after coming here it seemed like he wouldn't be able to forget about the stupid thing no matter how much he wanted to. At the same time however he was starting to feel like there was something more to it than simply being a peculiar mark on him.

"I uh… before coming here I used to have a scar in the shape of a lightning bolt… it was caused when someone tried to use a curse that instantly kills whomever it hits before being deflected back on him."

Taking his claw down the teen watched as Spyro started to frown before taking a step forward before stopping and looking pointedly at him. A few seconds of confusion later however and Harry realized he was silently asking for permission to approach before letting out a huff and reluctantly nodding.

Satisfied the purple dragon closed the rest of the distance and got rather close to the spot on his forehead where the scare used to be. For a moment the young teenager couldn't help but wonder what the dragon was sensing before watching them pull back and letting out a contemplative hum.

"Interesting… I can see why the other's have been rather upset about it… can you tell me anything about the guy who did this?"

Quietly the teen contemplated this before finally letting out a long suffering sigh and deciding that he might as well just get it over with.

"His name… was Voldemort, in the past he led a group of fanatics who believed that only those who were purebloods should use magic. In this case a pureblood is someone who not only had magical parents but both sets of grandparents had it as well.

Those born from non-magical families were called muggleborns and every now and then the magicals had non-magical children who were dubbed squibs. There were also those born of a pureblood and muggleborns who most called half-bloods and tended to fall in between the two sets."

At this point in time Spyro was narrowing his eyes as he listened to Harry speak, and he definitely was not liking what he was hearing.

"Thing is Voldemort was a bit of a heretic, claiming to be a pureblood when in reality he was nothing more than a half-blood who's real name was Tom Marvolo Riddle. Most however simply call him the Dark Lord, He-Who-Must-Not-Be-Named, or You-Know-Who because of how terrified they were of him."

"Most think he's dead and that I did something 12 to 13 years ago but he somehow survived as some sort of wraith who attempted to kill me when I was 11 and first joined Hogwarts. I even met the guy when a much younger version of him was possessing a diary last year where he told me his true name and such."

When the teen finished the purple dragon stood quietly for a few moments as he slowly digested this information.

One of the first things he thought was that wizards were incredibly stupid if they thought a hatchling could have defeated someone with much more magic and experience. Another thing was how one being could be so terrifying that they were afraid to even speak their name before one of Malfore's more devastating ideas came to mind.

"I see… this Voldemort character might have cast a Taboo Curse…"

Upon seeing Harry's confused face Spyro decided to elaborate on what he was speaking about. "Basically it's a curse that would alert someone if a certain word or phrase is mentioned while simultaneously giving away the location that the person or persons were at."

"As for what you mentioned about this guy surviving a rebounded spell… most spells that rebound are normally slightly weaker or altered in some way that can make them unpredictable. If what you said about him casting a curse that just kills people is true then it might have been altered slightly when it came in contact with the protective ward that's surrounding you which could be part of the reason he's nothing more than a wraith right now."

"Other than that there are a few ways of surviving death but you either have to be highly desperate or really insane to attempt them. Those who use these methods however always have to pay a price that would turn them into nothing more than an abomination."

Impromptu lecture completed the two lapsed into silence as the green eyed dragon tried to absorb what he had heard. A few moments later however and the young teenager couldn't help but let out a tiered sigh and speak.

"You want to know the sad thing about this… I just got more information about why others were terrified of Voldemort from a dragon then I ever got from my own teachers in the past three years."

Taking a moment to think about this the purple dragon couldn't help but let out a brief laugh as the younger one simply collapsed into his temporary resting spot.

-|:-:|- Time Skip - Next Day -|:-:|-

Cynder couldn't help but roll her eyes upon seeing Harry's reaction to finally being released from bed-rest. Though when one compared that he went directly from bed-rest to ending back in it after one day it was understandable.

Still didn't excuse him taking off in a sprint and shouting while indoors but then again he was still a teenager and they could be rather unstable at the best of times. "Harry! Calm down for a moment and follow me to the Pool of Visions, Terridor wants to talk with you."

In response to this the dragoness heard the young teenager let out a groan before calmly leading the way. At the very least the green eyed dragon was rather responsible and quickly fell into step behind her without complaint.

The black dragon made sure to keep a pace the young one could keep up with but besides that her mind was elsewhere. A brief flutter of wings caused her to temporarily focus on Hedwig as she came flying down one of the halls to land on her master's back but it did little to break her train of thought.

As for Harry, he had offered a soft greeting towards the Snowy Owl before focusing forwards towards Cynder once more. While looking at the dragoness however he caught sight of the metallic blade that rested on the tip of her tail once more.

Idly he couldn't help but wonder why the dragoness had a metallic plume while the others seemed to have bone. For a moment he thought that it might have something to do with the fact she was female or something but there was a nagging sensation in the back of his head that seemed to suggest otherwise.

Then there was the jewelry that she seemed to wear and rarely if ever take off, he would have dismissed them as simple accessories but again he had a nagging suggestion that there was more to it. A second of compilation later however and he decided to let out his inner Griffendore by asking a question.

"Hey Cynder, I hope you don't mind me asking but… why are you wearing jewelry?"

Instantly he could tell that he had hit a sensitive spot as the black dragoness hesitated in her next step for a fraction of a second before continuing on. At the same time however she seemed to turn her head just enough to catch sight of him in her peripheral and humming.

"Hmmm… I am a girl Harry, have you never seen a female wear jewellery before?"

There was a light teasing note in her voice that caused the teenager to momentarily falter before doing his best to shake it off and responding.

"Yes, I have, but at the same time I can't help thinking that there's something more to it."

Hoping that the dragoness didn't detect any falseness in his voice, Harry couldn't help but stare definitely at her as he waited for an answer. As for said dragoness, she couldn't help but fall silent as she contemplated on what she should say to the younger dragon.

Truth be told she had no real reason not to respond to his question seeing as how the teen wasn't around during the war. Take into account the fact that his only influence so far was her, Spyro, and the Guardians and they could prevent him from forming the wrong conclusions when he ultimately found out the truth.

Truthfully that was also assuming that he was ultimately stuck here in which case giving him the truth was possibly the best thing they could do. At the same time it might be a mute point because they could find a way to send him home and undo the transformation.

Eventually however Cynder simply shook her head before pausing and letting out a tiered sigh.

"Right, you'll probably find out someway or another so there's no point in really keeping it a secret… Remember when you first told me of your unique circumstances and I mentioned that we've had some troubling times?"

The black dragoness watched as the young teen came to a slow stop right next to her before frowning and nodding slowly. On his back Hedwig seemed to conk her head sideways to show that she herself was actually listening in on the conversation.

"Yes well… what you must understand is that almost 70 or so years ago this temple was attacked by a group of apes under the control of a dark dragon by the name of Malfore. At that time Malefor instructed them to destroy the eggs that had been resting there in an attempt to prevent a hatchling from one day growing up and stopping them."

"During the attack however one of the eggs had been secreted away and managed to survive, another egg however was taken by them. Those eggs were Spyro's who managed to get adopted by a pair of dragonflies and… my own that was taken by the Apes."

"Taking into account that dragon eggs take decades to hatch and you can see how devastating that event was."

At this Harry couldn't help but flinch, if what he was hearing was true then that event must have been horrible. As for Cynder, the dragoness saw that she was starting to make the young dragon rather unsettled and decided to quickly finish up her minor history lesson.

"Long story short I was raised in captivity before Malfore, through one of his minions by the name of Gaul, corrupted me with his poisonous powers. During that time I wore these bands as a sign of my servitude and it was only Spyro's actions that saved me from that dark dragon's control."

"Nowadays I simply wear these bands to show that I'm not afraid of him and his dark powers… though I do admit that I've been thinking of changing them lately."

Letting out a contemplative hum the dragoness brought one her forelimbs up to stare at the platinum bracer on it. Now that she mentioned it out loud the idea of potentially changing them sounded like a good idea.

As for Harry, he simply looked at the dragoness in confusion for a moment before turning his head to look at Hedwig. Said Snowy looked at him for a moment before letting out a hoot and bobbing her head that he just knew ment the owl approved of the black shedragon.

The teen then thought back to one of the few DADA classes he knew of that briefly mentioned a group of spells known as the Unforgivables. If anything it sounded like Cynder had been placed under a form of the Imperius Curse for a number of years.

With that thought in mind and Hedwig's approval he simply shrugged in response before speaking up.

"So you were under control of some dark wanker, as far as I care your innocent of any crimes, besides Hedwig seems to like you and that's good enough for me."

That said the teenager simply started walking in what he hoped was the general direction of the central chambers. This was primarily based upon the fact that he knew it was in the center of the complex and quite possibly the biggest room here.

Hedwig however simply sat on his back and watched amusedly as Cynder's face went through a range of emotions such as shock, befuddlement, joy, and finally exasperation. "You're going the wrong way Harry."

Barking laughter left the owl as she felt her master's embarrassment as he turned around and slowly walked back towards the dragoness who had turned down another corridor that branched off from the one he had been walking down. Soon enough however the two had entered the central chambers before Cynder led the curious dragon towards a much smaller chamber off to the side.

Inside of this Terrador was standing next to what at first glanced appeared to be a pool of water. However the closer they got to it the more certain it became that this wasn't just an ordinary pool of some liquid.

For starters Harry could see what appeared to be little balls of light drifting up from edges of the pool. Upon finally getting within viewing distance of the contents the green eyed dragon could just make out what appeared to be blots of light moving inside.

Before he could get a better view however a pulse of pain emanated from his scar appeared around the same time as a headache. As such he couldn't help but stumble slightly and let out a groan of pain, desperately wishing he had a small shot of headache potion to alleviate the worst of it.

By the time it finally started to dissipate however he was aware that someone was not only shaking him slightly but also calling out his name. Opening his eyes, when did he closed them, provided a brief spike of more pain that quickly went away as he deliberately looked anywhere but at the pool.

"-otter, Harry Potter, are you alright son?"

Blinking for a moment the teen nodded as he took a few seconds to just breath before speaking.

"Yeah, yeah, I'm just… I'm fine… just give me a moment."

The other two dragons seemed to share a brief concerned look before the green dragon looked at the green pool and back at the young black dragon. A few glances between the two later however and he finally managed to piece together what had happened.

"I see… it appears that you have the ability to use the Pool of Vision, I apologise. If I had known about this I would have had this conversation out in the main chamber, come and we'll give you a moment to adjust."

Slowly the Earth Guardian led the two out of the room as he kept an eye on the younger dragon that Cynder was slowly nudging towards the exit. When they finally got out of the smaller chamber and close to the old statue however the dragoness looked up and he answered her unasked question.

"First time users of a Vision Pool often experience blinding headaches as a side effect until they adjust. Normally they are identified early and are apprenticed to an experienced user who helps them, unfortunately the last one we had perished a while ago and I'm afraid that the next one is only mediocre at best."

Understanding this the dragoness nodded before looking back at Harry who seemed to be coming around thanks to Hedwig who was rubbing her head affectionately against his cheek. When he finally came around the young teen gave the owl a soft thanks for the support before looking at Terrador and speaking.

"Thanks I guess… so what's this meeting about?"

With a small grunt the green dragon looked at the green eyed teen in front of him for a moment before finally speaking.

"I'll get right to the point, while we're attempting to find a way to turn you back into a… humon… and get you home we might also need to consider the fact that it may not be possible. If that's the case then we're going to have to come up with some sort of plan for the future in which case I want your input."

Upon hearing this Harry couldn't help but wince, truthfully the thought had crossed his mind but he had deliberately kept himself from thinking of it. That is to say he wasn't ignorant of it, if he was truly stuck here and like this then it was probably a good idea to have some sort of plan in pace, didn't mean he had to like it though.

-|:-:|- Earth | Hogwarts - DADA Office -|:-:|-

Remus Lupin was currently at an impasse on what to do.

He was currently packing his office after someone let slip that he was a werewolf and part of him was suspecting Snape was the one behind this. However his mind was currently elsewhere as his inner Marauder was pointing out that something was amiss here.

At one point he had decided to try and do a bit of paperwork to clear these thoughts away when he had stumbled upon Harry's work and that nagging feeling came back full force. Curiously, now that he was thinking about it this feeling had been bugging him ever since he had first laid eyes on his cub at the beginning of the year.

Ever since then things had been popping up left and right that had prevented him from actually thinking about it. First was the Dementor incident on the train, then came Albus and his questions on what he thought Sirius might do.

Up next there was Harry coming to him in hopes of learning the Patronus Charm because of his unexpected reaction to the Dementors before eventually stumbling upon the Marauders Map. Then there was the unexpected event of having Peter pop up on the map leading him to check the enchantments on the thing.

When they came up clean however he had then spent his time tracking down Sirius thinking that something was up before the final confrontation that revealed the truth. In between all of that however he had to deal with things like teacher patrol and setting up classes for several years worth of students.

On a side note he now had a new appreciation of all his old school teachers for putting up with all the crap he and his friends did when they were here. Quickly he chased aside those fleeting thoughts before focusing once more on figuring out what was bothering him.

Absently he stood up from his desk while still clutching Harry's paper and started to pace around the room in deep thought.

Now that he was thinking about it the only reason he had even accepted Albuses letter to teach the dreaded DADA class was to actually get close to his cub. With everything that had come up however he never really got the chance and when he did he would always start to feel afraid of what the young teen would react like if he found out about his condition.

To think that he had forgotten about his potion in his rush and had nearly attacked everyone that night…

Letting out an irritated growl Remus once more forced himself to forget about his last train of thought and get back to his goals. He had also wanted to ask the other teachers about what Harry had gotten up to in the last few years, was he like his father and pranking people or was he more like his mother and studying.

Thinking about it he might want to actually go and visit his friend's grave, he had never actually gotten to it and it would be a good idea to get some closure.

"GERAH! Snap out of it Remus and FOCUS!"

Why in blazes was it so hard to actually focus on Harry and his goals, for the love of Merlin it feels like something is preventing him. As if that triggered something the werewolf felt some sort of pressure start relieving itself before letting out a snarl of anger and delving into his mind vial Occulmacy.

Interesting fact about Occulmacy, most magicals believe that werewolves are unable to use this art as their inner beast would tear them apart. Thing is this is only prevalent in Britain and its surrounding countries who still think it's the middle ages and that electricity is a passing muggle fad.

The rest of the world had actually had various revolutions that practically dragged the older magicals kicking and screaming into the modern age some time after World War II. When that fiasco was over and done with a bunch of information was gathered as to what caused it and when it was found out that Grindelwald and the behind the time magicals were the cause the governments reacted in rather quick order.

Nowadays Magical Britain was considered a backwater and the ICW was putting pressure on them to change or else. Unfortunately the government were dragging their heels in this endeavor and it was only a matter of time before they forcibly disbanded the Ministry of Magic.

Anyways back to Occlumency and werewolves, while it was true that Weres couldn't use it the same way that normal folk did, the principle behind it was easy to achieve. In the end a werewolf could simply delve into their mind and organize it as long as they left their inner wolf alone and did nothing to trap them.

Another thing was that most inner wolves tended to be rather lazy at the best of times and mainly considered their human halves nothing more than a minor nuisance at worst and an inconvenience at best. As for their violent nature during the full moon, that was simply caused by the unstable nature of the transformation which turned them rather bloodthirsty when in the presence of humans.

Other than that being a werewolf was like having a rather large dog in your head, treat it good and it would be rather nice towards others but treet it bad and it would be highly viscous towards anyone and everyone. As for Remus' inner wolf Moony, the canine was ironically something akin to a massive puppy that was desperate for attention all the time.

Thus the second he touched down inside his mind he was suddenly blown over by a giant tawny haired Lykan that proceeded to slobber all over him. A few minutes later he managed to force the canine off of him and was absently scratching their head while removing any slobber he could.

"Why do you always do this?"

Looking at the wolf he watched as it let out a whimper before finally straightening up as it noticed that it's human half wanted something.

"Right Moony, lately I've been having trouble focusing on our cub Harry, any idea on what's causing this?"

Remus watched as the giant wolf absently flicked one of it's ears before seemingly perking up in happiness. A second later and the exasperated human half was chasing the giant puppy who had taken off after gesturing for him to follow.

He just knew that he was going to be in for it later but right now he knew that something needed to be done if he were to help Harry.

-|:-:|- Dragon Realms | Dragon Temple - Central Chambers -|:-:|-

"I see… it would appear as if our quest to return you home is going to be just that much harder unfortunately."

At this point Terrador was pacing around the room while Harry simply sat in front of the statue and watched the green dragon. Cynder had taken off somewhere in the middle of their chat to go and visit Spyro while Hedwig had simply migrated to the top of his head.

"Uh… care to explain for those who don't know what you're talking about?"

The Earth Guardian took a moment to glance at the young dragon and his peculiar owl before pausing.

"I'm not surprised that you don't know what I'm talking about, then again this isn't exactly common knowledge. You see young Harry this world, make that every world is protected from outside forces trying to enter by a unique form of mystical energy."

"Each world would have a different name for this mystical energy but for us we simply call it Aether for a lack of a better term… Basically imagine this world as a simple room inside a building and your world as a seperate room just down the hall."

Slowly the green eyed dragon nodded, just enough to be seen but not enough to disturb Hedwig, as he absorbed this information.

"In this case the Aether would be the wall surrounding the room and the hallway would simply be the space between realms. To get from one room to another however you must find the doorway, in this case the doorway would be a place known as Convexity."

"If one wished to leave this realm for another however then they must know both names for the doorways they wish to travel to. Without it however then one would be eternally lost in space between dimensions for all eternity unless they got lucky."

Slowly the teen absorbed this information before mentally cursing whatever deity had decided to use him as a play thing. By this point he was seriously questioning if one of his ancestors had ever been hit by the Ancient Chinese curse known as 'May you live in interesting times'.

"Right… that makes about as much sense as anything I've heard so far, while we're on the topic what is this world called anyways?"

Looking at Terrador Harry watched as the green dragon seemed to be going through a myriad of thoughts before finally absently speaking.

"Yes, yes the name… truth be told we rarely ever actually do more than call our place the Dragon Realms. Rather uncreative I know but what can you do?"

"As for the name itself, our world is simply called Avalon… are you alright Harry?"

For a moment the green dragon was concerned as the teenager seemed to go very still and stare blankly ahead of themselves. Even Hedwig seemed to be concerned as she leaned forward just enough that she could make out the green eyes of her master.

As for said young dragon, he took a moment to digest what the Earth Guardian said before finally taking a breath and speaking.

"Please tell me the name of this world again…"

"Uh… the world's name is Avalon?"

Confused Terrador watched as the young dragon seemed to absently nod before taking a sharp breath and finally looked at him once again.

"Right… I was afraid of that… my people had a legend about a place called Avalon and knowing my luck it's probably not a coincidence that this world has the same name."

Miota: So...

crai22: So what?

Miota: Where did the merc with a mouth go?

crai22: Sent him into a dimensional rift so he could be someone else problem.

Miota: Ah... can't say I'm blaming you, now what's up with chapter three?

crai22: It's not exactly easy to figure out what direction to take this story in so I'm planting some seeds here and there that may or may not sprout into further plot points.

Miota: Right, anything to be weary of?

crai22: Not that I can think of but for the time being feel free to interpret this as you will.

Miota: Fine, for now just get back towards your stories.

crai22: There's only so much time I can spend on them before feeling bored, and dare I say it I miss working.

Miota: Oh, I guess that's reasonable since your workplace has temporarily shut down until this whole virus case has blown and and is now seemingly calming down in the media.

crai22: Nyep, now get moving pal because I want to do more things than just sitting behind my computer today.

Miota: Fine, crai22 owns nothing but the things he makes up such as the plot, otherwise feel free to read and review people.
