Danny Zuko walks up to Putzie's front door and knock, it was Putzie's father. "Hello Mr. Jacobs, is Putzie home? I want to see how he's doing." Danny told him.

"Sure son, he's been up there all day. Maybe you can try talking to him." Mr. Jacobs said. "He won't talk to me because I um..."

"Don't worry, I will." Danny smiled. "He knows you didn't mean to sir."

Mr. Jacobs lets Danny in and Danny went upstairs knocking on the door.

"Hey buddy! It's me, Danny!" Danny yelled.

Nothing...

"Putz?" Danny asked.

So he opens the door and looked around in his room to see no Putzie.

"Putzie?" Danny asked. "You in here buddy?"

Then Danny saw the note on the bed and he grabs it.

"Dear Danny, or dad or Jan, I know one of you will read this first, but I just want to say...that I'm running away." Danny read, "I can't live like this no more...I thought I was gonna be better. But I guess it's not, I know I seem to be happy but I'm faking it. So...keep in mind, I am never ever coming back."

Danny looks up from the note with tears rolling down his face.

His baby brother, his youngest smallest best friend has ran away. He shoved the note in his pocket and ran downstairs and out the house to his car and driving to Frosty and he got out to see the gang inside and he went in. "Danny, you're crying! Are you ok?" Sandy asked worrying about her boyfriend.

"Putzie ran away!" Danny blurted.

Then Kenickie coked on his burger, Rizzo and Marty stared in shocked, Doody looked down trying to keep tears from coming, Frenchy comfort a crying Jan in her arm while she has tears in her eyes as well and Sandy hugged Danny while Sonny looked away from the gang.

"How do you know?" Kenickie asked angry as he stood up.

"Because he wrote a note!" Danny snapped.

"Are you going to find him?" Jan asked.

"You bet we are." Sonny said.

"Putzie is like our baby brother." Doody said.

"Come on, let's go." Kenickie said as the gang walked out expect Danny, then Sandy came back in.

"You coming Danny?" Sandy asked.

"Yeah, just...scared." Danny admits.

"Don't worry Danny, he's gonna be ok." Sandy said hugging her boyfriend. "I promise."

"Uh yeah, let's go." Danny said holding her hand and they ran out of Frosty to look for their youngest best friend.

Putzie was walking down the street holding his bag, he wanted to get away from life. He wants to be happy again. He's even worry about the gang leaving him after graduation epically the guys, mostly Danny who practically raised him since they were 4 years old. He looks up the sky. "Why did you have to die mother? You seen what father does to me when he stoned and drunk." Putzie says quietly, but he kept walking.

With the gang, in Greased Lightning finding Putzie. "I hope we find him in time." Frenchy said.

"Me too," Jan said.

"Danny, we're gonna find him." Sonny said.

"I know." Danny said.

"Danny, we're scared too." Rizzo told him.

"Well did you raise him when you were 4? I didn't think so!" Danny snapped.

Sandy looked at the girls and just nod at them telling them to give Danny some space.

"Kenickie, are you gonna get in trouble for speeding too fast?" Jan asked.

"This is a Roger emergency." Doody said.

The Roger emergency is what the guys call whenever Putzie is in trouble. So the gang drives off. With Putzie who was sitting on the log in the wood, he twisted his ankle while walking into the wood, now he can't walk very well.

"My ankle," Putzie winces in pain.

So he got up from the log and limp towards the woods again.

"Crap!" Putzie mutters quietly.

His ankle was hurting him. Then he fell to his knee feeling hungry and tried, all he wanted to be happy again and be with his friends.

"Mommy, I miss you." Putzie cried in his hands.

Then Putzie laid down on the dirt hugging his legs to his chest while crying and shaking. "Dad hurts me," Putzie cried hard. "Mommy, please come back." Putzie wipes tears away.

With the gang, still driving and looking for Putzie.

"Hey guys, I think he went in here." Sonny said pointing towards the wood.

"Turn this way Kenickie." Danny said.

Kenickie parked Greased Lightning by the wood and they got out walking.

"There's Putzie's suitcase." Doody says.

"I'll go look for him, you guys stay here." Danny said.

"Let me come with you!" Sandy said.

"I'm sorry, I'll be back ok." Danny says while kissing Sandy's cheek.

Then Danny ran down the woods and he jumps over the log, to see a small boy in a leather jacket.

"Putzie!" Danny yelled running to Putzie's side and saw his face, he looked like he was crying. So he gently shook Putzie. "Hey Putz, wake up." Danny whispers, Putzie slowly opens his eyes and turn to see Danny there.

D-Danny?" Putzie asked.

"Hey brother," Danny smiled. "Come on, let's go home."

"I can't." Putzie said as Danny help sit up.

"Why not?" Danny asked.

"Because I'm not going back!" Putzie told him.

Danny sat next to Putzie while putting his arm around him.

"Listen buddy, I know your scared, depressed and all, but you can't run away when you have people who loves you so much and cares about ya." Danny told him, Putzie looks down to stop the tears from coming. "We all love you," Danny said to him. "...Please...Brother." Putzie looks up at his older best friend.

"Ok, I'll um...come back." Putzie said.

"That's my little buddy, let's go." Danny said standing up.

"But one little problem, I um twisted my ankle and it hurts like hell." Putzie said.

Danny chuckles softly.

"Come here," Danny said he scoops Putzie in his arms. "Ready?"

"Yeah," Putzie says quietly.

The boys made it back to the gang and when they saw Danny carrying Putzie in his arms, they immediately ran to Putzie.

"Putzie, are you ok buddy?" Sonny asked him worrying.

"How bad is it babyface?" Kenickie asked.

"Oh my poor baby!" Jan cried.

"Guys, I'm fine." Putzie said as Danny set him down. "It's just a twisted ankle...that hurts really, really bad."

They chuckles at him.

"Come on little buddy," Doody said as he and Danny helped him get in the car.

"Danny, can you um..." Putzie started,

"Don't worry buddy, I'm always here for ya" Danny smile at him. "Brother."

Putzie smiled as Jan carefully cuddles up next to Putzie.

Once the gang dropped Putzie at the doctors, Danny stayed with Putzie as they wait for the doctor to come in and take care of Putzie's twisted ankle.

"Danny, I'm sorry for running away." Putzie apologized.

"Hey, don't worry about it buddy." Danny said. "But I have to admit, I was really scared." He admits.

"You were?" Putzie asked.

"Well yeah, I thought something bad might've happened to ya." Danny said. "And I wouldn't know what to do if you weren't here pal."

Putzie smiled.

"Just...promise me, never ever run away like that again." Danny said.

"I promise I won't do that ever again," Putzie promised. "Best friends?"

"Brothers." Danny corrected as he puts his arm around his smaller friend.

2 days later, Putzie's ankle was still hurting. So he stayed in bed resting, the gang came over every seconds to see if Putzie was ok, even though he was getting annoyed, but he's glad that he has someone who cared about him and loves him. Just then he saw his father came in.

"Hello son," His father said.

"Oh, hi dad." Putzie said.

Then his father sat down on the bed.

"Listen son, I'm sorry for hitting you." Mr. Jacobs said.

"It's ok dad," Putzie said. "I know you didn't mean too."

"I want you to know that I'll always love you son." Mr. Jacobs told him.

"I know dad, and I love you too." Putzie smiled.

Mr. Jacobs smiled and rubbed his son's hair while standing up.

"Dad," Putzie said as Mr. Jacobs turned around.

"Yeah son?" He asked.

"Do you miss mom?" Putzie asked.

"Yes I do, very much." Mr. Jacobs replied. "But all I care about right now is for you to be happy, healthy and safe."

Putzie smiled and Mr. Jacobs smiled while leaving the room, then Putzie looks over at the window.

"I love you mom." Putzie said looking out the window and closing his eyes.
