Richie Cunningham was walking up to Fonzie's apartment to tell him that dinner was ready, but when he looked through the window he saw Fonzie rubbing his eyes, more like crying. Wait the Fonz crying? Richie thought. So Richie decided to knock on the door gently and Fonzie's head shot up , going in the bathroom and then came back out. "It's open Cunningham!" Fonzie's yelled as Richie came in. He was trying to act cool. But he knew Richie wasn't stupid, the boys grew closer like brothers.
"Uh mom said it's um...it's time for dinner." Richie told him.
"Ok great, let's go!" Fonzie's said going to the door, but stopped when he heard Richie call his name.
"Fonz? Were you...crying?" Richie asked him.
Then Fonzie turned to him and grabbed his shirt collar.
"The Fonz's crying? What are you nutso!?" Fonzie asked. "I never ever cried in my life." He lied.
"Fonzie? I'm your best friend." Richie told him.
Then Fonzie calms down and let's go.
"Fine...I was c-cr-cr..." he shudders in his own words.
"Crying?" Richie asked.
"Yes." Fonzie admits. "I was...crying."
"But why?" Richie asked
"It's my mother's birthday." Fonzie told him.
"Oh...and the thought made you think of the memories." Richie said.
Fonzie nods his head.
"Yeah...Rich, I miss my ma so much." Fonzie told him.
Then Richie puts a comforting hand on his shoulder.
"It's gonna be ok Fonzie." Richie comforts him. "Hey, how about I ask my mom if I can bring our dinner up here and we can sit and talk about your mother."
"Really?" Fonzie asked.
"Yeah!" Richie smiled.
"Alright, it's the deal." Fonzie said as Richie left the room.
"Mom, I miss you...and love you so much." Fonzie said.
But he was also glad that he had the Cunninghams' as his second family.
