After a few days of quarantine, I decided to go back to playing halo and while I was playing Halo 1 I came up with this idea, this is what I ended up writing

This begins halfway through the first Halo CE / Halo 1 mission.

Note that this story may be constantly updated, also with quarantine there is not much more to do.

Chapter 1: Slipspace

Gunshots from the Master Chief's assault rifle echoed inside the Pillar Of Autumn while the corpses of UNSC and Covenant soldiers were scattered throughout the corridors of the ship.

Like a sickle cutting the wheat, the chief was annihilating all the Grunt, Jackals and Elite that was in his path, the one whom they began to name demon showed no mercy.

Blue blood had soaked into the chief's green suit while several marines supported him, honorable UNSC soldiers facing waves of Covenant troops who were fighting even with unmatched fierceness.

"Chief, the lifeboat's airlock is much further ahead" Cortana said as the Master Chief razed two Grunts trying to flee.

"I know," the chief replied as he reloaded his rifle.

Recalling the mission Captain Keyes had assigned him, the Chief quickly quickened his pace hoping he could reach one of the Bumblebee lifeboats.

After several minutes passing through the corridors infested with Covenant troops, they finally reached the landing room.

Dodging the shots from the plasma rifle of one of the Elites, the chief threw a grenade before taking cover behind a box, seconds later an explosion followed by the severed remains of the Sangheili gave the green light to his advance.

"Quick Chief, there is only one lifeboat left" Cortana shouted to which the Chief quickly approached while helping a fallen marine to enter the lifeboat.

The airlock hatch closed, at the same time the Marines observed the chief who simply held on tight.

"Punch it" ordered the boss to the pilot of the landing pod, he did not know what was waiting for him in that strange structure, but something was clear, he had to defend Cortana at all costs.

There was no time to think much, a strong turbulence shook the crew when the "Bumblebee" took off from the Pillar of Autumn, the lifeboat and all its crew were heading towards an unknown world, an unknown world in the form of a ring.

Falmart was a curious world, home to different races living in harmony, or so it was the greatest civilization that world knew.

A caravan passed near the sacred hill, coming from one of the kingdoms that paid honor and tribute to the Saderan Empire, the most advanced and powerful civilization in this world.

The members of the caravan, mostly mercenaries in charge of protecting it from any bandit who wanted to appropriate their property.

Alnus Hill was a sacred place, steeped in mystery and mysticism, strange things happened from time to time there that even the Rondel scholars could understand.

From Elba to Sadera, passing through Alnus was mandatory.

As they calmly advanced on the seemingly harmless natural formation, something supernatural happened.

Fireballs began to be observed from the sky, falling in great numbers and at great speed.

The caravan members watched this in surprise, was this an example of the supernatural events of the holy hill?

Many of them seemed to crash before reaching the hill while others seemed to be heading to locations further north.

They spent a long time watching the rain of fire that fell on their world.

Was it a good omen or perhaps the start of something worse? Do the gods have something to do with this or is it even beyond their power? They were questions that were asked every minute.

Supernatural or not, they were also so hypnotized by that act that they did not realize that the hours began to pass quickly, without realizing it was beginning to get dark.

Just then, one last fireball appeared, as bright as the others, but this time it seemed to be heading toward the hill.

After following their journey with their eyes, the members of the caravan observed how at the top of the hill, how that fireball had hit the hill with force.

Many exchanged glances, they did not know what to do about it.

They muttered a lot among themselves until one of the caravan members impetuously took a loud and loud step.

"Let's check it out".

Two things

1: I know the argument can be somewhat ridiculous but the truth is that I wanted to write and see what came out, try to see if this went too far from the official canon but you know, at least they wanted to try to make this not something carcinogenic

2: This will be a short story, I plan to be about 40k or maybe much less, I don't want to do something extensive.
