It was night time in Axel as the starry night and moon shone down upon the town. In one particular area was a training ground. There were several scorch marks that decorated the grass. Trees having holes the size of hands in them, with some being cut down with burnt trunks occupying where they once stood. Several training dummies destroyed with slash marks and burn marks.. Finally one person laying in the middle of it all.

"My limbs are slack." Justin groaned barely able to move his mouth, "My mouth almost unable to move, my eyes are still unable to see the horizon. Is this the end of my journey? Shall I truly perish here?" His vision caught that of blue hair and his eyes widen.

"HASTUNE MIKU?!"

Aqua looked at the boy with worry, "Yeah okay he's been out here too long." She leaned up to her companion, "Kazuma, can you carry him?"

"Why do I have carry him, I'm not some packing mule." Kazuma growled.

"I'm a Goddess so you have to do as I say." Aqua proclaimed, "Besides I should not sully my hands to such labor, no matter my feelings." She whispered that last part.

Kazuma stuck his ear out, "Eh what was that?" He sarcastically asked, "You better pick him up or I'll tell everyone about the dreams you ha-MPH!"

Aqua quickly covered the NEET's mouth, "Shut up Kazuma! I'm sorry don't tell anyone please!" Aqua cried out.

Justin, still in pain, stared on into the starry night, "Why did I come here?"

Justin: *In pain* Konosuba...

"Create water!" Kazuma sprayed water out of his hand into a glass.

"Thanks." Justin drank the water, "Huh, it's actually pretty good."

Kazuma smiled at the results, "Now that I know an actual skill I'm feeling like an actual adventurer."

Justin finished the rest of his drink, "Yeah, I learned a new skill at the training field yesterday."

"You mean the same one you destroyed?" Kazuma deadpanned.

"The point I'm making is that I'm stronger now." He lifted his jacket up, "I even have a six pack! Can you believe it?"

Kazuma sulked, "You asshole. Having the better body and everything."

"What are you going on about now?"

Kazuma banged his fist on the table, "What are you stupid?!" He stood up, "You not only got the better power and build but also you got girls drooling over you!"

Justin looked at his friend with confusion, "What are you talking about?"

"Don't act like you don't see half the girls eyeing you almost all the time like a toad looks at Aqua." Kazuma yelled, "Your like some shitty fanfic mc that gets all the girls with no actual reason for their affection besides you're hot!"

"...Kazuma how much did you sleep?"

"Thirty minutes."

Justin sighed, "Lets fix your sleep schedule."

Kazuma put his head down, "Yeah sorry about that."

"Justin, Kazuma." The voice of a masochist called out to them, "I used the money I got from the Harvest to repair my armor."

Both boys looked at her blankly, "Looks exactly the same."

Darkness pouted, "You do know I like actual recognition from time to time." She backed up putting on an aroused expression, "To be shot down by two different people at one is truly amazing."

Justin stopped her before she could continue, "Yeah before you start lets point out the small explosive elephant in the room." The thee looked at Megumin grinding on her new staff like she was Darkness or something.

"OI STOP IT OR PEOPLE ARE GONNA THE WRONG IDEA!" Kazuma yelled to the girl making her stop and realize people were staring.

"U-uh um." The Arch Wizard stuttered.

"WHAT DO YOU MEAN THIS IS IT?!"

The familiar scream of the useless Goddess caught almost everyone's attention, "I caught a lot of cabbages so that should be more."

Luna nervously chuckled, "Well some lettuce was mixed in with your pile."

"HUH!" The Goddess screamed.

"Well lettuce is less valuable then cabbage." Darkness added.

Aqua ran over to Justin and jumped in his arms, "WAAAH Justiiiin!"

"No."

"Justin~"

"No."

"Justi-"

"No."

Just-

"No."

"Jus-"

"No."

"..."

"..."

"..."

"..."

"..Justi-"

He chopped her on the head that time getting his message across, "No."

"JuuustiiiIIIIIIIN." Aqua cried, "You're so mean to me!" She suddenly stopped crying and leaned over to Kazuma, "Hey Kazuma I always thought you were...er...um cool, yeah!"

"So she's really after money huh?" Justin deadpanned.

Darkness leaned towards the black haired boy, "If you wanted to take your frustration out on someone you could take it out on me."

Justin didn't even spare her a glance, "I won't give you the satisfaction." He coldly replied.

"Ngh!"

Justin looked over at Kazuma and saw him cave in. Looking the boy in the eyes he shook his head in disappointment.

One hour later...

Darkness, Aqua, and Megumin were waiting in a clothes shop for the two boys of their group to get some new clothes. The sound of curtains moving to see Kazuma walk out of the dressing room. He wore a green cape with a white shirt underneath, black pants, and brown boots.

"Wow looking good." Aqua complimented.

"Very impressive." Darkness said.

"I've seen better." Megumin added.

Kazuma glared at the wizard, "Well I couldn't just stay in my tracksuit forever."

Aqua nodded, "Yes it would ruin the whole fantasy feel."

Darkness and Megumin looked at the girl confused, "Fantasy feel?"

Another curtain moving had gotten the the party to look a the other fitting room to see Justin walk out. He was now wearing a black tight no-sleeve shirt with a red scarf mask on his shoulders, with black pants, black shoes, and a red cloth wrapped around his waist.

Looking at his part Justin did a little posing, "How do I look?"

"It's befitting of your class." Darkness said.

Megumin gave him a thumbs up, "Nice color scheme. Such a beautiful pallet as if you were a Crimson Demon."

"Eh a little too edgy for my taste, but it's pretty cool." Kazuma added.

Justin smiled at the over all opinions and looked at Aqua. When his eyes landed on him he noticed she was only looking at one particular part of his outfit.

"Oh six pack." Drool fell from the Goddess' mouth.

Justin glared at Darkness, "Oi you're affecting my party members."

"I-I did no such thing!"

Aqua: Woah six pack~

Back at the guild the dysfunctional party was looking on at the mission board.

"Now what job should we take?" Kazuma asked his team.

"Well I thin-" Justin was suddenly pushed away.

"I think we should take a job with lots of low level monsters so I can show of my Explosion magic!" Megumin proposed too enthusiastically.

"No." Darkness cut in, "Let's get a quest with strong monsters that can hit hall." Her breathing became more erratic.

"You two are hopeless." Aqua told the two, "We need a job that gives a good reward." She proceeds to take a hard quest off the board, "Let's do this one."

The two boys looked at the three in front of them, "They're not even on the same track." Kazuma said blankly.

Justin sighed, "I got this." He walked up the group and whispered the word, "Charm." Before he was right behind him.

"Hey guys."

They all stopped what they were doing and looked back with a daze shocking Kazuma.

"Maybe we should all come as a team to figure out what to do." Justin proposed with the three only shaking their heads, "Thanks." Justin turned to Kazuma and gave him a thumbs up as the three shook out of their stupor.

"W-what was that?" The Adventurer spat out.

"Oh that's a new skill I got from some merchant." Justin said, "It's called Charm, when you use it on a person you basically become their preferences in a person. Each person see's you as their preference from their point of view, and it's most effective with high charisma." He then shivered, "I really don't want to know what they saw."

Aqua's vision...

Justin was standing in front of her looking almost God-like. He face shined and sparkled, his hair flowed from the 'wind', and his voice was soothing a strong like a river.

Megumin's vision...

Megumin saw Justin as his eyes glowed, without the Sharingan, as he posed like an edge lord.

Darkness' vision...

...I refuse to say what I just seen.

"TEACH ME PLEASE!" Kazuma bowed making the boy jump down.

"Uh sure let me just get you to see how it is, Charm." He used the spell on Kazuma, "What do you see?"

Kazuma looked at him for a little bit before answering, "You haven't changed at all."

.

"Bro." both of them gave each other a manly hug.

"Let's pick a quest bro." Kazuma cried manly tears.

Justin nodded and the two went towards the mission board with new found respect for each other.

They looked at every quest before coming to a realization, "Why are there only hard quest?!"

"I'm sorry about that." Luna walked up to the group, "There's news that one of the Devil King's generals is in the area and this made all the weaker monsters go into hiding."

"A Devil King general?" Justin sweated at the thought of one being so close.

Kazuma sighed, "Well I guess we can do the Toad que-"

Aqua and Megumin jumped at the boy, "NO MORE TOADS!"

Darkness looked confused, "What's wrong with the Toad quest?"

"Well every time we do it these two get covered in frog slime." Justin explained.

The knight started breathing heavy, "Ngh. R-really?"

"You're turned on aren't you?" The Thief blandly asked.

"I am not."

Justin: Then why did you ngh?

Justin was pinching the bridge of his nose, "So let me get this straight Luna." He started moving his hands in a here to there motion, "So the reason all these high level missions are here is because one of the Devil King's Generals is staying near here and now all the lesser monsters are in hiding."

Luna nodded, "Yes that's exactly what I said."

"THEN WHY ARE THE FROGS NOT IN HIDING?!"

Luna jumped at the sudden raise of tone, "W-well I'm not sure as to why, but I would recommend finding a job in town if you don't want to take on the higher level quest."

Justin just thanked her before she walked off and went back to business.

"God this sicks." The Uchiha by blood groaned, "I came here to kick ass not do manual labor."

Megumin nodded, "I too agree, we Crimson Demons cannot can't do jobs or else we'll explode."

"I refuse to believe that."

Kazuma shrugged, "Well I guess it's back to construction working for me, you and Aqua."

"Grk!"

"Hrmph!"

The two mentioned froze with guilty looks on their face making Kazuma look as feel the incoming head ache, "Okay Aqua I get, but Justin!?"

Aqua jumped at the brunette, "What do you mean by that!?"

She was promptly ignored, "What happened?"

"Don't ignore me Kazuma!"

Justin meekly scratched his cheek, "W-well..."

"DON'T GO INTO A FLASH BACK WHILE IGNORING M-"

"YOU WHAT!?"

Justin was currently standing in front of his former boss stoically as he uttered the two words.

"I quit."

His boss looked exasperated, "But why!? You're one of our best workers!"

Justin just shrugged, "I'm going into a different line of work that suits me more."

"But we were friends!"

"You took every chance to insult me."

He looked at the blackette in disbleif, "Please, name one insult I threw your way."

"Okay, ahem. 'Hey pretty boy take a wrong turn?' 'You sure those noodle arms can do anything?' 'You look like a twig.' 'Maybe you should quit before you hurt yourself.' 'Come on quit ya pretty boy.' 'This job ain't for bi-"

"Okay I get it!" He slouched, "I'll send you your last paycheck."

And with that Justin left.

"Okay so it was reasonable." Kazuma nodded before he looked at the Goddess with distain, "Now you."

She shrunk under his gaze, "W-well you see-"

"She got drunk and started throwing chairs at the boss knocking him off." Cutting her off Justin stoically stated.

"Wha- Why don't I get a flash back?"

"YOU STUPID GODDEEEEEEEEEEESSS!"

Kazume started to pinch her cheeks and stretch them out.

"OW OW OW I'M SOWWY!"

Darkness, who stayed quiet, started squirming, "Such brutality."

"...I should have gone to heaven."

Aqua: KOWNOWSWUBWA!

As the day went on Justin started walking through the town of Axel looking for a new job. He crossed by several fruit stands and shops but none were really catching his attention.

"Hm?" He stopped in front of one shop and read the sign, "'Wiz' Magic Shop?'" He stared at the sign a bit longer, "...Heh, wiz." He walked in.

Looking around he saw several magical items coming in different variations. Some he never even thought he would see with how strange they were.

A voice came from the back, "I'll be there in a minute!"

'I guess this 'Wiz' is a girl. What's up with her name though?'

Waiting a minute or two footsteps were heard coming from the back. Stepping into the doorway and to the desk was a beautiful brunette woman with brown eyes and pale skin. She was dressed in blue robe that definetly completed her figure.

Justin looked in shock, 'Whoa she's really prett- Wait.' He stopped himself, 'Every woman I met here has something wrong with them so I better keep my guard up.' "Um I'm Justin Peck and I'm here to see if you're hiring."

Wiz looked surprised before looking happy, "That's great! I've been trying to find someone to help out, but I can't seem to get anyone." She walked around the counter and stood in front of the ravenette, "When would you like to get started?"

"...Eh?"

"When would you like to st-"

"No I heard what you said, but just like that?" Justin couldn't help but wonder why there wasn't any type of interview.

The brunette looked down shyly, "W-well I really need help since I'm not able to get anyone to buy a single thing."

'RED FLAG!' Twitching nervously the Sharingan user looked around before picking out a random item, "Well you have some interesting stuff, what's this." He held a jar filled with a glowing blue liquid.

"Oh that's a healing potion that heals even the most deadliest injuries-"

"Doesn't seem that bad."

"-but if you don't eat a rat's heart thirty seconds after drinking the potion you die a very painful death."

"Aaaand no." He placed the jar back before grabbing green ball, "What about this?"

"It's a simple smoke bomb-"

"Good start."

"-that gives you lung cancer if you breath in even the tiniest amount of smoke."

"What the hell woman?" He made sure to carefully place the ball back before grabbing a heart shaped arrow, "Please tell me that this doesn't have any deadly drawbacks."

"That's an arrow that releases love potion to those that already love you-"

"I swear if it causes death..."

"-it increases the effect twenty times for everyday."

"THAT'S JUST AS BAD!" Justin's sudden outburst made Wiz jump. He sighed heavily as he put the arrow up, "I hope this doesn't bite me in the ass in the future." He then held up a ring not even asking what it did.

"U-um it's a ring that get's an extremely beautiful girl that loves you deeply to enter your life-"

"BUT!?"

"-b-but you fall in love with a different girl that isn't interested in you..."

"..."

"..."

"..."

Justin dropped the ring and did nothing as his eyes were shadowed by his hair. The silence made Wiz worry.

"Are you oka-"

STOMP

"EEP!"

STOMP

STOMP

STOMP

He stomped the ring into dust before looking at it's remains with disgust.

"Aah-aah."

He calmed down and looked over at the freaked out Wiz who was shaking.

The black eyed boy scratched his cheek sheepishly, "Sorry just some... mistakes I remembered."

She seemed to buy it, "I understand that, but you can't go breaking my things without facing consequences!"

He sighed once again that day, "Fine I'll work here as compensation."

She had stars in her eyes, "Really!?"

"Yeah sure I'll start today too."

"Amazing!"

"BUT!" He put his hand on the brunette's shoulder and looked her in the eyes, "Please come to me before you buy things from now on."

She blinked at him confusingly, "Uh sure."

And thus started the strange relationship of Wiz and Justin.

Yea that's it for this chapter. I really was stumped on what to do next for this story so that's why the chapter isn't too long.

I don't really have much else to say so I'm gonna leave it here.
