Howdy Folks! (Ew don't do that ever again you swine) How are you lovelies doing today? I hope the answer is amazing! Anywho, this is a story I wanted to get around to making because A) What else do I have to do but write? and B) I need to write an SDS fanfic so I can bleach my mind that was the atrocity that was Wrath of the Gods. Hence why this is going to be a slight AU. This is probably a very confusing pairing, which, is most definitely fair to say. I haven't looked but I imagine this is not a very... Popular ship. So it fits right in with me! By the by, this is taking place about 300 years before the Hendrickson Arc, just for reference. Anywho, I'm just going to get this started with and stop rambling. Thank you for coming, even if you don't read, your very presence makes my day that much better! Now, let us begin!

My eyes fluttered open as the intense rays of the sunshine peeking through the top of the forest shoved their way into my eyes. I looked around and winced in pain, feeling my entire torso jolt in response. I look down at my body, and gag. Deep red gashes were spread along my stomach, legs, and my left arm, which refused to move. I start to breathe shakily, coughing up blood, which made it's way onto my face, the warm red droplets running down my cheeks and to my chin,

I felt the searing pain flow through about every point of my body, my muscles sore, my bones aching. I looked around my surrounding area, it seemed to be a forest, with huge, beautiful trees with bushes with in bloom flowers. The grass surprisingly low, meaning that it almost had to have been taken care of in some way or another.

"Where... Where the hell am I?" I asked aloud in my scratchy voice, turning my head and hacking out more of my own bodily fluids onto the green grass.

Before I could get anytime to scan the surrounding area for any resemblance of a familiar area, loud, high pitched screaming filled my ears, causing me to squeeze my eyes shut in response from the sudden loud noise. I looked around frantically, trying to find the area of origin. I soon spotted a fairy standing behind a tree, poking her little head out behind it. She had pink hair, pink eyes, a pink nose... Ugh... Too much pink. I thought in my head before I soon spotted more of the smaller beings around her.

Before I could process what words to say, or what action to commit, I heard a cacophony of screams and shouting. I tried moving my hands up to my ears to block out the sounds, but, My arms were either far too weak, or immobilized, so it did no good trying to move them to my ears.

"Demon! It's a demon! Everyone run!" I heard screamed through the chaos.

"Someone get Lady Elaine!"

"We are all going to die!"

"Someone, do something!"

I rolled my eyes, and snickered quietly. Sure, they may have reason to be afraid.

... That is if I wasn't half dead bleeding out in the middle of the forest. I wanted to tell them to shut the hell up, but, I knew if I did that they would either not hear me, ignore me, or cause them to scream even louder than before.

"Elaine! Save us!"

Who the hell is Elaine? I wondered, listening to them call out her name over and over again, asking her to save them and to kill the evil demon who was "tormenting them" At this point I'm about as much of a threat as a kitten, I can still scratch and claw, but you can poke me the wrong way and I'd probably kick it.

I started coughing up more blood, and I rested my head back on the soft Earth, "Oh yeah... I'm supposed to be dying..." I whispered, looking up at the glimmers of sunlight I could spot through the leaves.

I started feeling my eyelids grow heavier, as my vision slowly started to fade in and out. I rolled my head over, feeling myself slowly enter the realm of sleep. But, before my eyes were completely shut, I could see the bottom of a white dress walking towards me, with the sounds of cheering around me. That's when my world turned to black.

...

My eyes shot open as I looked around in a panicked daze, wondering if I was dead, as I no longer felt my previous pain.

I could barely see through my blurred vision, but... If I am dead... Than why does Hell smell like daffodils?

That's when my vision came back to me, I blinked a few times and looked around. It seemed like I was still in the forest, just above it... I looked down at my body, and my eyes shot open in shock. My body was spotless, there wasn't a gash, scratch, or bruise to be seen. Even my clothes were spotless. It was like it had never even happened. I scanned the area a bit more, and spotted a pink fountain with a goblet sitting on a white pillar which sat in the middle of the odd looking liquid. Next to it, the top of the biggest damn tree I had ever seen in my life.

I tried to move, but, I was unable to. I struggled a bit and looked up, realizing I was suspended by ropes to a branch protruding from said huge tree. "This is insulting... How do they expect this to hold me?" I muttered, before attempting to use magic to destroy the ropes, but, no matter how much I concentrated, nothing happened.

"What in the name of..." I grumbled, my eyes spotting a silver bracelet that stretched down to my elbow, and growled. "A magic dampener... I guess they aren't that stupid after all..." I tried my best to escape the bind, swinging myself back and forth, wiggling my arms, and other useless ideas. I then realized, that I myself was useless without the use of my magical abilities.

I stopped and allowed myself to be hung there, aimlessly for however long it was until she heard soft footsteps against the soft grass. "Finally awake?" A high pitched, voice asked in a dry tone.

"Well... That is a stupid question to ask, isn't it? I imagine you watched me kick around a little before walking up to me," I barked at the area the voice came from, receiving a giggle.

A small, blonde haired girl stepped out from behind a shrub, her light golden eyes peering up at me. Her small, elegant body slowly walked towards her, causing me to stare at her in awe.

This... Why was this girl so beautiful? And why was I even acknowledging that fact?

"My name is Elaine. I am the woman who guards this forest. The one you came in uninvited," She said in her soft, high pitched voice. Her facial expression serious, yet undeniably adorable.

"Well, Ms. Elaine," I said in a bit of a condescending manner, "I don't know if you realized, but I didn't exactly come here on my own accord. I don't even know how I got here, all I remember was waking up here, and, I dunno, dying," I growled, getting a little more annoyed that she was so helpless at the moment.

"Wait," She said, her face turning to one of surprise, "You didn't come to drink the water from the Fountain of Youth?" She inquired, a puzzled expression on her face.

"Fountain of Youth?" I cocked my head, but scrunched up my nose and scowled, "Are... Are you implying that I look that old that I would have to drink from something that makes you younger?!" I shouted, beyond annoyed at this point.

Elaine laughed behind her hand, "I guess you weren't," She said and floated up to me, looking at me from only a few meters away.

"So, what is your name then, Demon?"

I took a second and looked up at my bound hands, "If you cut me down from this tree, I'll tell you," I responded, receiving a scowl from Elaine.

"Are you kidding me? Just because I healed you up doesn't mean I'm going to let you run free!" She barked, her hands shooting down her sides.

"Wait..." I looked at her, scrunching up my brow, "You. You're the one who healed my wounds?" I asked, studying her for a moment.

"Yes, a simple tossing of you into the pool of the Fountain of Youth healed your wounds up instantly. I wanted to question you, and you can't question a dead demon," She responded blandly, as if this was just a normal day for her.

"I- Well... I guess I owe you my name at the very least..." I grumbled, shaking my head, "My name is Melascula of Faith. Pleasure to meet you, even though if the situation was different or reversed, you would be dead, and I would be laughing," I said, snickering, "I'm joking, I'm joking... A little bit, at least."

Elaine shook her head, seemingly appalled by my words. Suddenly, her eyes widened, "Wait... Melascula of Faith... Are... You're..." She stuttered, seemingly unable to talk.

"I'm one of the 10 Commandments," I finished for her, exhaling deeply through my nose. "That is what you were going to say, right?"

"Y-Yes... I just... Can't believe..." She stood up straighter, her face becoming serious once again.

"If you are who you say you are, then I must... I must execute you!" She shouted, her cheeks becoming red.

"Oh?" I responding, in a rather bored tone, "Hurry up then, I don't have all day," I closed my eyes, letting my head hang down.

Elaine nodded, waving her hand as one of the branches animated, moving around slowly, slithering it's way to me.

I simply shrugged and waited for her to plunge it into me, humming a small tune.

Elaine stood there, a bewildered look on her face as the branch was only mere centimeters away from my chest, "A-Aren't you going to beg for your life a-and tell me why I shouldn't kill you?" She shouted, her face red.

I looked up for a moment, my hair slightly covering my face. I shrugged once more and hung my head once more.

"I-If you did, I might listen!" She exclaimed, only receiving another shrug from me. But, unbeknownst to her, a smile was played onto my face. If I was going to die, I wouldn't mind if it was to the hands of such an adorable girl.

"F-Fine! T-Then..." She stumbled over her words, biting her lip as she grunted and cried out, "Damn it I can't do it!" She swiped her hand, causing the tree branch to slice the rope in half.

I opened my eyes and yelped as I fell and slammed onto my side, groaning. I looked up at her, confused, "Why... Why are you sparing me?" I asked, clearly confused.

She bit her lip and looked away, "I-I read your mind and I could tell that you weren't going to hurt me!" She exclaimed quickly.

I stood up and watched as she floated down. I put my hand on my hip and squinted at her, "I was intentionally not thinking anything, knowing your race had that little ability," I responded, receiving a large blush from Elaine.

"I-I! Shut up! I spared you, now go!" She yelled, pointing out to the wilderness.

I looked at her and smiled, walking up to her, she flinched and stepped back. I patted her head and laughed, "Well, you already put this magic dampener on me... So I may as well stay here and rest a little while, right?" I asked, pointing to my wrist.

She looked at me confused, "W-What? You want to stay?" She asked, bewildered.

"Well, may as well," I say and sit down, leaning against the tree.

"B-But! I ordered you to leave!"

I shrugged and starting snoring, receiving a groan from the other girl, "F-Fine! Stay! But if you cause any trouble I will kill you!" She shouted, walking off.

This wouldn't be too bad... Now would it? I smiled, slowly falling asleep.

Okay! I hope you liked it, I know it isn't the best quality, and it's horrifically non-cannon and OOC, but, I just want this to be pure romance, with little regard to plot. Thank you so much for reading, you truly mean the world to me and I'll see you next time! (Prolly next week) Have a nice day/night!
