When Midoriya woke up, he was pleasantly surprised to see that it wasn't the middle of the night. Of course, he didn't mind helping others with their nightmares, but it was nice to be able to sleep in occasionally. At the crisp hour of five thirty, he was in the kitchen prepping the coffee pot. He searched around in the fridge for chocolate syrup and cream for his coffee.

Within minutes the green haired dad was sitting at the couch in the common room. A newspaper in his hands, mug of coffee on a coaster in front of him within reach. He scanned the sports section and scoffed at the news of the Musutafu Maniacs getting a new coach. He wasn't normally into sports, but he started to dabble recently, near the same time his back started creaking anytime he got up too quickly.

Then voices started to float down as footsteps echoed around the common room. Which was strange. A Sunday and his kids were up before seven? This was new.

"I just hope we're up soon enough. You know he wakes up at the ass crack of dawn." Midoriya scowled at Kaminari's language. How naughty!

"Relax, it's not even six yet. Dadoriya wouldn't be up this early." Kirishima would be in for a shocker.

"Whatever, the damn old man didn't wake up till eight before U.A. I doubt Dad is awake this early." Bakugou's coarse language was no doubt influenced by Kaminari.

"I certainly hope you young gentlemen are through using such naughty language." Midoriya spoke up, keeping his eyes on the business section of the paper. He could swear he heard an audible swallow from the group before they started making excuses.

"Dad? What are you doing up so early?" Kaminari found his voice first.

"Dadoriya? Uh this was unexpected." Kirishima was most likely turning red, and Midoriya could hear a scoff from his explosive son.

"I made some coffee, if you would like to have some you can help yourselves to it. Although, you might need to microwave it now." He didn't bother pushing them on their explicit language. They knew they got one warning a day for it now.

There were mutterings, and then frantic texting going on, the entire time Midoriya read through the paper reading section by section, before he could hear noise coming from the kitchen. Figuring they were getting mugs, he was slightly surprised to hear the stove flicker to life and the sound of something sizzling in a pan shortly afterwards.

Within minutes, there was a pleasant smell wafting through into the living room. Then shuffling feet approached the green haired dad. With a quirked eyebrow he looked to see Kirishima standing in front of him holding a plate out, Kaminari standing slightly behind him with a cup of orange juice, and his Kachan was looking at his feet.

"Happy father's day, Dadoriya. We wanted to make you breakfast, to thank you for all you've done for us." Kirishima couldn't stop himself from rubbing the back of his neck, before looking to see his dad with tears in his eyes.

"That is so sweet. You boys didn't have to do this for me. Oh you're gonna have to eat this with me." Midoriya wouldn't say he bullied them into eating the plate with him, but they would be lying if they said it wasn't bullying.

Soon enough more children came down from their rooms all merrily saying a "happy fathers day" and the green haired teen checked his phone to see several text messages from others that slowly came under his umbrella of care.

Before he realized it, someone (most likely Kaminari, or Mina) mentioned doing a movie day. Midoriya was fine with it, and was surprised when his kids looked at him waiting for him to do something.

"Do I have something on my face?" He couldn't help but ask after several moments.

"Dad, you're supposed to pick the movies today." Several nods of agreement with Uraraka's proclamation.

"I think we should stick to our set movie picker schedule." Midoriya offered the choice. He didn't mind picking the movie, but he wanted to make sure his kids got a chance at picking a movie.

"We're sure dad." Todoroki was the first to respond. It was no surprise the half and half user, was sitting as close as humanly possible without actually sitting in his lap.

With an eye roll, Midoriya picked one of his favorite classic animated movies. Big Hero 6. Soon his kids were all enamoured with the movie with Midoriya finding himself lost in thought, as he let this day go by.

I'm the luckiest person alive to be surrounded by so many great kids. I may not be a hero they deserve, but I will work everyday to be one. I promise to each and every one of you that I'll be number one, so that you never have to worry again, because I'll be there to protect you until my last breath.

I know this is a short chapter, but there will be another chapter out later this week, with a new character getting roped into Izuku's care. Yes the people texting happy father's day to him will be found out in a handful of chapters. Now I hope everyone has been well! Make sure you're staying safe!
