"This way," said Trace.
"No," countered Rafa. "This way."
"Tie breaker," said Ahsoka as she pulled the bickering sisters down one of the hallway. They paused as the scent of ozone filled the hall and the Pykes behind them shouted out in pain. Ahsoka turned around and saw a boy about the same age as herself, arms outstretched and chest heaving as he panted. He had hair cut almost to the scalp and light brown eyes. He wore a set of white robes and looked around his surroundings in confusion.
"Where am I," he muttered before feeling the Force nearby. Starkiller, AKA, Galen Marek, met eyes with Ahsoka Tano and the two paused for a moment as they tried to asses the situation. "Where am I?! Where's the Emperor?! Where Juno?!"
"Who's Juno," asked Ahsoka in confusion. She watched as the unknown Force user grunted from a blaster bolt to his shoulder. He growled and drew his lightsaber, catching all three girl's attention. Ahsoka for the unusual teal color and the sisters for the simple fact it was a lightsaber.
"What's a Jedi doing here," shouted Rafa. Ahsoka shook her head as she felt the boy's energy. There was so much of the Dark Side in him and yet he also had traces of the Light as well. She gasped as he shot Force Lightning down the hall at the attacking Pykes and killed each of them. He looked at the girls.
"Friends of yours," he asked.
"Not really," said Trace. "But if you can keep doing that and get us to my ship, we'd be thankful."
"Where are we?"
"Oba Diah," said Ahsoka as she eyed the boy in front of her. She knew from encounters with Ventress and Dooku that Force Lightning was a Sith ability and was incredibly wary of the mysterious Force Sensitive.
"How did I end up here?" He moved his blade to Ahsoka's neck and glared. "Tell me now."
"Hey," said Rafa. "Hate to rush you, Handsome. But we need to go, now. More Pykes will be here soon enough." Galen eyed each of them before reluctantly nodding and looking at Trace as she held a blaster.
"You know how to use that?"
"Not that hard," said the pilot. "Just aim and shoot." The former assassin assessed her before taking the blaster and handing it to Ahsoka. "Hey!"
"Don't miss and keep them off my back, Togruta."
"Just keep that lightsaber off of my neck," said Ahsoka, not trusting the boy. He looked at Trace.
"Where's your ship?"
"Being held by the Syndicate at some shipyard nearby."
"Better than nothing I guess. Togruta, lead the way out of here, you two follow and I'll bring up the rear."
"Who put you in charge," asked Rafa. Galen held up his lightsaber and deflected an incoming blaster bolt away from them as more Pykes came running. Rafa blanched slightly before turning to Ahsoka. "On second thought, Ahsoka? Please lead the way!" Galen rolled his eyes before reflecting the bolts back at the gangsters and following after the girls. Galen released several prisoners and let them attack the pursuing Pykes. Galen looked around before seeing multiple gangsters in front of them, weapons aimed directly at them.
"Get behind me." Galen challenged his anger and sent out a wave of Force Lightning into the criminals, stunning them before rushing forward and cutting them down as fast as possible. Ahsoka glared at the boy she now assumed to be a Sith and lined up her sights on him. A moment of hesitation later and she fired, killing a Pyke that was about to attack him. Within moments the firing squad was dead, and he turned to the girls. "Which way?"
"Uh," said Trace, slightly afraid of the boy in front of her. "This way, I think." Galen shook his head as he felt her and her sister's fear and Ahsoka's distrust of him. He felt her aiming at him before adjusting to shoot a Pyke he was about to cut down. They managed to escape the compound after Galen cut a hole in the gate with his lightsaber and cutting down the criminals on the other side using a combination of the Shien lightsaber form, Force Lightning and repulse as the girls stayed behind. They soon found themselves in a space port. Galen stole a few cloaks and handed them to the girls before pulling one on to cover his robes and pulling up the hood.
"Why is a Jedi here," asked Rafa.
"I'm…" started Galen, not sure why she immediately knew he was a Jedi. He didn't know anyone his age knew who the Jedi were. They were eradicated during Order 66, months before he was born. Unless you were taken by the Empire to become an Inquisitor or had family who had fought in the Clone Wars prior to the rise of the Empire, most wouldn't know what a Jedi was. He didn't even truly classify himself as a Jedi as he had simply undergone the trials very recently when forming the Rebellion. "Where is your ship? I want to get off this planet as quickly as possible."
"I think I see it there," said Trace as she pointed to an elevated platform in the distance. "That's the Silver Angel, I swear."
"'Silver Angel'," asked Galen.
"We thought it was dumb as well," said Rafa.
"I like it. Let's go." Trace grinned and stuck her tongue out at the two girls beside her before following him as Ahsoka and Rafa exchanged a look. They managed to avoid beggars and drunks who would give them away and made their way to the shipyard. They spotted a few Pyke guards and Galen moved to get his lightsaber again when the Togruta, Ahsoka, he remembered one of the other girls calling her, grabbed his shoulder.
"I think that's enough bodies for one day, don't you, Jedi," asked Ahsoka, placing an emphasis on the word Jedi. Galen stared at her for a moment before sighing and going to the guards as he thought on how to best deal with the guards. Feeling like his best option would be to try and influence them with the Force, he stood a few feet away from the three guards at the gate.
"What do you want," asked the head guard. Galen reached out with the force, connecting to their minds.
"You will let me and my companions pass."
"I…" Galen glared slightly as there was a lot of resistance from the guard. "I won't…" Galen growled.
"Then you will kill your subordinates." Less resistance this time and the head guard turned his blaster on the other Pykes, shooting them down before they even had time to react. At the realization at what he had done the Pyke turned his blaster on himself and Ahsoka tried rushing to stop him, only for the blaster to burn a hole clean through the Pyke's head. She stared at the bodies before turning to the one she was now sure was a Sith.
"What did you do," she shouted.
"He resisted. It was the only thing I could think of!"
"Less shouting," said Rafa. "More running! They'll be here any minute when the guard doesn't report in!" Galen nodded before leading the way to the ship the youngest pointed out. He Mind Tricked, successfully, an engineer nearby into releasing the clamps on the ship and shutting down all tractor beam equipment before going on break and not logging in the visitors he had just seen. Once on the ship, Galen sat in a chair and crossed his arms over his chest.
"Who are you?"
"I'm Trace," said the youngest girl. "I'm the pilot and captain of this ship! This is my sister, Rafa, and that's Ahsoka."
"What is your name," asked Ahsoka. Galen almost gave her his codename out of habit before shaking his head. It was clear she didn't trust him and he in turn didn't trust her. He looked her in the eye and gave her the first name he could think of.
"Kento." Ahsoka eyed him suspiciously before he looked at Trace. "Care to tell me what all of that was back there?"
"Just," said Rafa a bit reluctantly. "A business transaction gone wrong."
"I think that's an understatement given the level of resistance we encountered trying to get out." Galen was reminded of the Imperial shipyard and how much trouble getting in was. He was thankful that he had Juno to get him once his mission on Raxus Prime was done. He looked at Trace. "Where are we going?"
"Straight to level 1313 on Coruscant," said the young pilot.
'Coruscant,' thought the former assassin. 'With luck, perhaps the Emperor will return there. I gave the Rebellion ample time to escape by fighting the Emperor. They should be safely hidden away at Organa's hideouts for now. I should be able to conceal my presence in the force and wait for the Emperor in his quarters. If I kill him, then it's only Vader left, and I've already proven I can beat him. With both of them gone, the Empire will collapse… and Juno will be safe. Good.' Galen looked at Trace and nodded. "That works for me."
"Duh," said Rafa. "You'll want to report back to your oh so reliable Order about whatever it was you were doing." She rolled her eyes and sat in the co-pilot's seat.
'Order? What is she talking about?' Ahsoka could sense his confusion and eyed him suspiciously.
"Just," she started. "Meditate before we get there." Galen scowled slightly before seeing nothing better to do and setting his lightsaber in his lap, the conjoined Khyber of his friend, Rahm Kota, and his father, Kento Marek's, own crystals forming his own unique crystal. Galen breathed in deep before starting his meditative trance, as always his lightsaber floated in front of him and started disassembling itself in the air. The girls turned and faced him.
"Whoa," said Rafa as she stared at the show in front of her. Ahsoka watched the action and saw an odd sight. The Khyber crystal looked to be two crystals joined together. A green and a blue crystal. She stared at it, wondering just how he came across something like that being a Sith. Trace looked around, hoping to no end that whatever Kento was doing didn't mess with the Angel.
As Galen meditated, visions started to flash in his mind. Visions of places he didn't know of and people he had never met before, some only having seen in PROXY's plentiful holographic images. Among these visions were images of somewhat familiar faces. A young man who resembled his friend and mentor, Rahm Kota, a young Zabrak woman with grey skin he remembered from Felucia as well as Master Shaak Ti, and a man he only saw twice. Once in his memories of his brief life on Kashyyk, and when he underwent the trials in the Temple Ruins, his father Kento. A mask, one reminiscent of the Mandalorians, flashed in his mind followed by the image of a planet followed by two words. "Find me."
Galen gasped as he came out of the trance, his lightsaber falling to pieces around him. "What just happened," asked Rafa.
"Stop the ship," muttered Galen as he absently put the weapon back together.
"What," asked Trace.
"Stop the ship!" Galen moved forward and brought the ship out of hyperdrive. Ahsoka looked outside and shook her head.
"I think the Syndicate did something to your ship," she said. "Because Mandalore is nowhere near Coruscant, and we shouldn't have gotten here this quickly." Galen stared at the planet and went to the controls.
"Hey," exclaimed Trace as she tried hitting him away from the controls. Galen brought them to the planet and ignored the hails the Silver Angel was receiving.
"Uh," said Rafa. "Where are we going?"
"I… I don't know," admitted Galen. "Somewhere. The Force is… speaking to me…"
"Right. The Force…" Rafa rolled her eyes as Ahsoka looked at Galen. He acted so much like a Sith and yet his connection to the Force brought him to the planet Mandalore? What was going on?
"Don't mock it. The Force exists in all living things at least… at least that's what my Master told me." Galen brought the ship into a rocky clearing and pulled out the ships navigational computer.
"Hey," shouted Trace.
"In case this one gets ideas of leaving me here to rot." He jutted his thumb to Rafa who tried looking nonchalant. "Stay here and don't follow me. I… I need to do this alone." Galen left the ship and started walking, taking care to leave the nav computer behind a rock after making sure he was far enough away.
Ahsoka frowned and stood up before following. "What are you doing," asked Rafa.
"I don't trust him," she responded.
"Oh, and I suppose following the scary Jedi with the laser sword is a good idea?"
"It's not a laser. It's more focused plasma."
"Whatever. He could easily kill us for following him when he said not to."
"Exactly. So if he does kill me, you two should stay here."
"Good point. Have fun."
"Rafa," exclaimed Trace. Ahsoka rolled her eyes before continuing to follow after Kento. She followed him down into a canyon she saw on the way down and looked around. There were markings on the walls of the canyon and the energy of the Force was very prominent in this location, almost as much as the home of the Son, Daughter, and Father. She gasped as a lightsaber was pressed to her neck for the second time that day and she glared into the brown eyes of Kento.
Galen glared at her and pressed his lightsaber closer. "I said not to follow me."
"I heard what you said. But I don't trust you. I know what you are, Sith."
"I am not a Sith."
"Well you sure as hell aren't a Jedi."
"And how would you know?"
"Because I was a Jedi!" Galen scoffed before walking away, not believing her. The Jedi were long dead, just as he was barely a Jedi, so too would she be, having not had the proper Jedi teachings from a young age. She was probably taught by a Jedi some teachings to defend herself but nothing substantial. "Where are you going?"
"Somewhere. Head back to the ship."
"Not until you tell me where you're going."
"I don't know!" Ahsoka growled slightly in frustration before continuing to follow him. "Go back to the ship!"
"No!"
"You are insufferable!"
"And you can't be trusted!"
"Trust is earned not expected, if you were a Jedi you would know that!"
"You obviously have no understanding of the Jedi!"
"And you…" Galen stopped suddenly, prompting Ahsoka to run into him.
"Why did you stop?" Galen turned to the wall they were near and placed his hand on it, closing his eyes. Ahsoka did the same and they opened their eyes as the wall shifted slightly. It moved in on itself and shifted to the side, revealing a long dark metal hallway.
"What is this…?" Galen took a step forward and Ahsoka looked at him nervously before following, unaware of a few watchful eyes following her. Galen ignited his lightsaber and lit the immediate section of the tunnel in front of him.
"What is this place?"
"I don't know. But something seems to be pulling me down this path."
"What?"
"Do you think I'd tell you if I knew?"
"I think you just love being stubborn and untrustworthy."
"Says the girl lying about being a Jedi."
"I'm not lying. I've been a part of the Order since I was a child but recently I parted ways with them!"
"You can't be older than I am, and you claim you were part of the Order?! I've never met a worse liar."
"I'm not lying!" Galen stopped his retort as they came to a large chamber brimming with the Force. Galen looked around and spotted old glyphs around the chamber and a sarcophagus in the center. He traced an image of a grey and red mask by the entrance lined by red and purple lines. A visage he saw once in his studies under Vader.
"Revan…" He looked around the chamber, showing more glyphs as he walked along the circular wall. "This is Revan's Tomb…"
"That's impossible! Revan wasn't a Mandalorian! He was a Sith!"
"You apparently know some of the history. Revan was originally a Jedi before the Mandalorian Wars. During the Wars, he took the mask of a long dead Mandalorian and swore never to take it off until the war was over. An oath the Madalorians often took in their practices only for life. A year after the War, he turned to the Dark Side. Little is known of what happened, but he did change his ways after. Revan died a Jedi with ties to the Dark Side."
"No! He was killed by the Order! He was one of the worst Sith in existence!"
"History is written by the survivors and victors, the dead can't talk, after all and I doubt the Jedi wrote about those who left the Order. I know Tyrannus and those that left at the same time as him, were called the Lost Twenty. They didn't want their defectors known to the Padawans and Younglings. Idiots." Ahsoka glared at where she could see his silhouette behind the glow of the lightsaber. He moved to the sarcophagus and held his blade to the inscription. "Help me." He started pushing on the lid and Ahsoka paused before shaking her head and helping him push the lid off of the ancient coffin. Inside, they saw no body but a number of other artifacts. Two lightsabers, one intact and the other broken, showing a red crystal. Both sat beneath a grey and red Mandalorian mask. Galen touched the mask lightly and closed his eyes. The previous wearers of the mask had left their energies on them when they died, and Galen could feel powerful Force energy surrounding it.
"Where's the body?"
"Revan became one with the Force," said a voice behind them. They turned around and spotted four masked Mandalorians blocking their exit. Galen glared and readied his lightsaber as he expected them to aim their blasters at the two of them. When they didn't he kept his blade ready just in case as Ahsoka stepped forward.
"Are you with Death Watch?"
"We are not," said one of them. The echoes in the chamber making it hard to decipher who was speaking. "We are Revan's Disciples."
"Disciples?"
"Revan did what few people have ever done," said Galen. "He understood both sides of the Force and used both in conjunction. Many Sith considered him weak and many Jedi thought him corrupt and at risk of falling to the Dark Side once more. But there were a few from both sides who thought he was an example. A Messiah that unlocked the true potential of the Force. The Order of Revan."
"That is only part of the story," said another voice among the four. "Revan underwent the Trials of the Force and balanced the Force within himself. He walked the line of the Dark and the Light and in doing so, found peace. Part of his Spirit bound to the Light…"
"And the other bound to the Dark," said a third voice. Galen could make out a feminine sound in this voice whereas the other two were masculine. "It's only because his balance came too late in life that his Soul is divided into two forms. We are the last of the Order. We have been protecting his tomb for centuries."
"You are the first that has managed to find his Tomb," said the last, another feminine sounding voice. "You are not like the other Force Users. Who are you?" Galen felt their eyes on him and felt his throat turn dry as he felt uncomfortable. He swallowed before trying to speak.
"I… felt that I needed to be here," he said. "The Force called me here. I don't know why."
"You are unique," said one of the females as one of the four stepped forward and started circling him. "Unlike your companion, you are not closed off from either side, but you lean more towards the Dark."
"It is why the Tomb opened," said one of the men. "These two balance each other out. One leans more to the Dark…"
"The other to the light," finished the other man. "And yet both are not a slave to their emotions. The boy has a sense of protection, if a bit misguided about how to approach others in how to help, the hardships of life being no stranger to him…"
"And the girl," said the last of the four and last female. "Is the opposite, naïve when it comes to how the world works and yet her training denies her from doing what is necessary half of the time to help others."
"You can learn from each other," said a voice behind the two, making the disciples kneel. Galen and Ahsoka turned around and spotted the cloaked form of Revan appearing to them as a Force Spirit. "And for what is to come, this is important. Galen Marek. Ahsoka Tano. Welcome." Ahsoka frowned slightly as the name Marek sounded familiar to her.
"You're Revan," said Galen. "The single most powerful Jedi and Sith in the Galaxy."
"And the reason you are here, Galen Marek. The Force thought to spare you the fate you were about to suffer and has brought you here."
"Where's the Emperor? Are my friends safe?"
"Emperor," asked Ahsoka.
"He is not the Emperor," said Revan. "Not yet."
"What the hell is that supposed to mean," shouted Galen.
"You may want to check the day when you leave my tomb. For now, you both must pass the first task before you." Galen glanced down as the intact lightsaber glowed in his eyes. Ahsoka looked down as the red crystal seemed to whine in her ears. Both reached down and took hold of the respective objects. Galen activated the lightsaber and saw the amethyst color of the blade, feeling some resistance to his presence. Ahsoka felt a lot of resistance and pain coming from the crystal in her hand. "Make these yours before you leave here. You will need them on your journey."
"What journey," asked Ahsoka as Galen sat on the ground and started meditating, focusing on the lightsaber as his own deactivated. Ahsoka found herself left in the darkness with only the crystal's faint glow as a light. She looked at the crystal in her hand and felt the pain in it. She frowned slightly as she clenched her hand around the crystal as she connected herself to it. She attempted to sooth its pain, trying to heal its pain on instinct. Galen focused on the crystal in the ancient lightsaber and tried to feel its energy. Galen felt traces of the Dark Side in the crystal, but it mostly it exuded the Light. Galen could easily bend it to his will but felt that would defeat the purpose and diminish its potential. Instead of bending it to his will, Galen accepted the crystal for what it was, a connection to the Force he could never hope to achieve and allowed the crystal to assess him. Almost instantly, the crystal and Galen formed a connection as an understanding formed between the two.
Ahsoka looked into her hands and saw the crystal was clear once more and a feeling of forgiveness emitting from the crystal as Galen reassembled the lightsaber, leaving a few of its components on the ground in favor of how his own lightsaber feels in his hand. Galen took the two lightsabers in his hand and activated both, filling the chamber with teal and purple light as he held the two blades aloft. Ahsoka saw the broken lightsaber and took the pieces left by Galen to make a complete one. Galen watched as silver light joined the teal and purple in the room once she was done. Revan had disappeared and upon looking to the entrance, so had his disciples. Galen looked around before he spotted a piece of cloth on the ground with a familiar symbol. The crest of House Marek. He picked it up and clenched it tight in his hand before Ahsoka turned to him. "What did he mean? Check the day?" Galen went over the conversation they just had and frowned.
"Ahsoka," he said. "How many years has it been since the formation of the High Republic?"
"215. Why?" Galen shook his head before heading to the tunnel that brought them here.
"That shouldn't be right," he muttered under his breath. Galen led the way to where he left the nav computer and Ahsoka grabbed his arm.
"Why did you lie about your name?"
"Because I didn't trust you as much as you still don't trust me." Galen pulled out of her grip and continued walking. "But seeing as the Force wants us to continue traveling together, we need to have a discussion once were on Coruscant. I need to see something with my own eyes before we do."
They returned to the Angel and Galen went to work reinstalling the computer. "Finally," exclaimed Rafa.
"What happened," asked Trace.
"Something personal," said Galen. "Your nav computer is back in place. We can get back to Coruscant."
"The sooner you're out of our hair, the better," said Rafa.
"You know without me you more than likely would be imprisoned again, right?" Rafa crossed her arms, choosing not to admit he was right. Galen looked around the ship. "Who made this ship?"
"I did," said Trace as she piloted out of the atmosphere, ignoring the hails again.
"From scratch?"
"Yes, actually."
"Impressive." Trace blushed lightly before smiling as she put the Angel into hyperdrive. Galen saw Ahsoka hiding the lightsaber from Rafa and Trace and made a note to ask her why afterwards. After reinstalling the computer, he checked the date and sure enough it was 215 years after the formation of the High Republic, the clendar showing it to be just three months before the Battle of Coruscant and the end of the Clone Wars and Purge of the Jedi not long after.. It also meant in just under a year, he was supposed to be born. He couldn't be sure, but if he was right, somehow the Force had sent him to just before the end of the Clone Wars and the Rise of the Empire. He wasn't sure for what purpose, but he knew one thing. Juno was supposed to be born around the same time as himself. In a few short months, the Clone Wars would end, the Jedi would fall, and the Empire would rise.
"Kento," said Rafa, pulling him out of his thoughts. "Can you tell us why you were on Oba Diah in the first place?"
"…No."
"And why not?"
"Because I don't know myself." Galen spent the rest of the trip in silence as the girls started arguing over should have happened before they arrived on Oba Diah. Apparently, they were transporting Spice and couldn't agree on what to do, prompting Trace, in her infinite wisdom, to dump the Spice mid-hyperdrive. Galen chuckled to himself at the unfortunate circumstances that led to them being where he had arrived after fighting the Emperor. "What's done is done. Now you only need to worry about bounty hunters." Rafa and Trace stopped bickering and slowly turned to him as Ahsoka winced.
"What?"
"Now that you've managed to supremely piss off a criminal syndicate, their reputation is at stake. If word gets around that you cheated them, or if you get drunk and brag how you escaped from them, well they can't have that. So either they hunt you down themselves, or they send bounty hunters to track you down and take you out, protecting their reputation. But I'm sure you knew the incredibly high risks when taking on this job." Trace glared at her sister as the implications dawned on the two of what they've just done. Galen shook his head before they finally came out of hyperspace, equally as quickly as they arrived at Mandalore, and Galen felt the prominent collection of Force energy coming from the planet that wasn't there the last time he had been on the planet, investigating the Jedi Temple Ruins.
"Do you want us to take you to the Temple first," asked Trace. Galen looked off to the side as a few ships moved to intercept them.
"Did you piss off anyone else when leaving?"
"Trace flew through a military lane and answered a hail from the ship monitoring the airways," said Ahsoka. "Luckily, they let us go."
"Obviously, something has changed. It would be preferable for all of us if you comply and answer the hail before we look more suspicious to whoever is trying to nudge us along to the ship. The sooner we go through the proper channels, the easier this will…"
"Trace doesn't have a license." Galen sighed.
"Of course she doesn't. Trace. Don't answer the hail and move over."
"No! This is my ship!"
"And I'm a better pilot! I need to get us out of here before…" Galen paused before a communications was forced through and a familiar voice came through.
"Unknown vessel," said a gruff voice over the channel. "This is General Rohm Kota of the Galactic Republic Army. Your ship has been flagged as suspicious. Land now in the designated landing area and…" Galen winced before he shut off communications and moved Trace from the seat before climbing in himself.
"Hold on!"
Jedi Master Kota glared at the unregistered ship and turned to his men. "Follow that ship and bring in that pilot!"
"Yes, sir," said Kota's lieutenant before the two ships followed the ship Anakin Skywalker had let go a few days ago.
Galen groaned as he flew around multiple ships, trying to outrun Kota's. "What are you doing," asked Rafa. "Just tell them you're a Jedi returning from your mission!"
"It wasn't an official mission," said Galen, coming up with a believable enough lie on the spot while maneuvering around oncoming ships trying to lose their pursuers.
"So you're rogue?!"
"I'm surprised you know what that means." Galen grunted as the ship shook.
"Are they firing at us?!"
"No! The portside engine just blew! It's a wonder it hasn't done so sooner given how quickly we got to Mandalore and then here!"
"We're going down," shouted Trace. Galen cursed himself before hailing Kota.
"General Kota! My name is Galen Marek! Our engine just blew and we need assistance! I'm willing to comply but the other passengers on my ship should be let free!"
"What are you doing," asked Ahsoka. Galen waved her off as he avoided ships while the other engine blew.
"General! Help!"
"Hold on," called Kota. "We'll get you down. Try and level out!"
"I've been trying!"
"Settle down, boy! We'll help you!" Galen chuckled silently. Seems Kota would always be the same no matter what time period. The girls grunted as the ships collided with their own and started guiding the Silver Angel down to the surface of the planet. "Pilot. Once the ship is down, come out with your hands up! You're under arrest!"
"Yeah, yeah, yeah. I hear ya, old man." Kota scowled slightly before shutting off the communication. Galen tucked his lightsabers into a pack on his hip and sighed as they landed. "Trace, please lower the ramp, and all of you stay on the ship."
"Wait," said Ahsoka. "What about…" She glanced at his pack and he shook his head.
"If they think to check it and find them, then fine. But something tells me I need to do this." Ahsoka thought for a moment before sighing.
"Trace, you two can head back to 1313. I need to keep an eye on him."
"What even is your name," asked Rafa. "You told us it was Kento."
"You just heard it," said Galen. "Trace?" The pilot nodded before lowering the ramp. Galen sighed as he put his hands above his head and started walking down the ramp. Ahsoka turned to sisters.
"We're gonna get this sorted out and then I'll check on you two. I still need to get my bike, after all."
"Fine," said Rafa. "But only because we need some help moving to a different part of 1313." She blushed lightly as she glanced at Galen. "And maybe having a Jedi around to protect us from any bounty hunters wouldn't be too awful." Ahsoka rolled her eyes before following Galen down the ramp.
Kota's men aimed at the young man as he walked down the ramp. Kota could feel the Force with him and another presence in the ship. He addressed the female Togruta as she exited the ship and the ship itself took off after the ramp lifted up. Two of his militia went for their ships but were stopped as Kota held up his hand. "Let it go," he said. He addressed the Togruta. "Former Padawan Tano. Didn't expect to see you here."
"Hello, Master Kota," said Ahsoka with some respect. Kota addressed the boy.
"At least now I know why Skywalker let the ship go in the first place." He turned to Galen. "You said your name was what?"
"Galen Marek, Kota," said Galen.
"Marek. As in Master Kento Marek?" Galen blanched slightly at the name mention.
"It's… a long story, General."
