So, the discord sever I'm on is the best. I was given permission from Reploid REVO to be able to mention his Oc character Twitch in my story. Go check out his channel if you like megaman related content.

"Would you two not jump so damn hard on the computer console? I'm tired of fixing it every time you break it." Maxus glared at the two innocently grinning reploids as they continued to jump on the already damaged key board.

The older reploid regarded them silently before sighing, "E.V.A, activate program eleven please." A female robotic voice sounded out at her command.

"Beginning activation for program eleven, Engage." The area around the jumping reploids began to vibrate before a large shape appeared and tackled them to the ground.

"Agh! Call off your damn clone Maxus!" Fenrir yelped as a large paw came and whacked him over the head.

"He's only playing with you Fenrir," She watched in silence as the beast smothered them before finally calling it off.

"Since you have all this excess energy from those last cans of Energy, why don't you make yourself use-full and show Harry around the laboratory? Not in here though as I have projects that need to be done and they aren't ready to be seen quite yet." The male pouted up at her, but Maxus was already moving to her work-area, the large beast trailing behind her.

Fenrir threw his sister one last pout before gently leading the smaller reploid out of the room.

As Harry turned back to look at Maxus, the large beast beside her had turned its head around and was staring right at him, its lone eye socket empty and glowing in the dim lighting of the room.

The young reploid gulped as the door shut behind them, eyes blown wide from the image he just witnessed.

"Come along, much to see and do. Maybe there's some E-tanks laying around." Fenrir lead them farther from the lab, having not seen any of what transpired just moment ago, towards the center of the building.

The duo passed by many closed doors, each coloured in a different way before they stopped infront of a single black door with no outer designs or anything to make it standout other then the colour.

"This here is my room, don't mind the mess I wasn't expecting company at all." The door slide open and Harry was assaulted with the musky smells of oil and leather.

"Don't tell Maxus, but I've been using her oiling can to loosen up my joints. They get really tight during the winter time." The reploid pushed the can to the side with his foot and plopped down on a battered bean bag laying on the floor

"You can sit if you want, I gotta polish my helmet." The smaller carefully maneuvered around the mess of empty E-tanks and questionable materials before plopping down beside the older reploid.

"Sorry if it's not so comfortable, we don't really use beds here." Harry didn't really mind, as he spent most of his life sleeping in a cupboard under the stairs. This was the most comfortable he's been in a while. Fenrir watched him for a second, his hands reaching up to remove his helmet and letting black hair spill out and frame his face.

"Wanna polish your helmet too? I've got another rag you can use." The boy perked up slightly before taking the offered cloth and reaching up to remove his own head-protection.

"Why does yours have strange things protruding from it?" The black armoured male blinked at the question, eyes looking over his helmet. "Not really sure, it kinda reminds me of ears in a way." A bottle of cleaner appeared in his hands and he got to work.

"The ones on Maxus's helmet look like rabbit ears, it's why I call her that." Harry titled his head in thought.

"They do kinda look like rabbit ears."

The two worked in silence for a while, the sounds of water hitting metal the only thing echoing in the room as the time ticked by.

"I'm surprised you lot were able to sit so long in one place." An amused voice broke them out of their trance and brought their eyes to the doorway, where Maxus stood with her own helmet off and a smirk on her face.

Harry looked the elder female reploid over from top to bottom in curiosity, eyes going over the harsh marks in her pure white armour, the spiky white hair nearly reaching past her shoulders, the wicked scar on the right side of her face, the intense golden eyes staring right into his soul.

The older reploid's entire image just screamed deadly as she calmly walked further into the room and snatched the rage from Fenrir, who merely smirked at her scowl as she plopped down beside him.

"All done with the repairs bunny?"

"For the moment yes, and would you stop calling me bunny? It's becoming redundant." Maxus aggressively rubbed some grease from her helmet, mindful of the protruding antennas on the sides of said metal. Fenrir only chuckled before reaching over and playfully ruffling her messy hair.

The angered growl that followed the action didn't seem to faze him as he continued on, going so far as to start pulling at the strands before Maxus tossed her helmet to the side and tackled him to the ground.

Harry watched, wide-eyed and stunned, as the two began to wrestle on the ground, snarls of outrage and laughter echoing off the walls.

"I'll teach you a lesson in manners brat, don't touch my hair with your greasy hands!"

"But it's so soft! How do you get it so soft? Isn't it synthetic?"

"Agh! I'm gonna dismantle you and use your parts for scrape." Maxus locked Fenrir in a headlock and began to shake him from side to side.

Before things could escalate further a giggle caused the two to pause and look over to the younger of the trio, who had fallen to the side and was holding his waist as he laughed, tears spilling from his eyes.

Maxus scowled half-heartedly as she casually threw Fenrir right on top of Harry, causing both to yelp at the impact. The elder reploid stood from the ground and started to walk to the door, stepping over the groaning duo along the way.

"When you two have picked yourselves up, meet me down by the lab for a service checkup. Don't think I don't see those cans of oil in the corner Fenrir." She left the room.

Fenrir cursed softly as he rolled over on his side, hands around his waist.

"Oof, Maxus sure knows how to kill the mood." Harry groaned in agreement as he laid on his back, helmet beside him.

"Hurry it up weaklings, the clock is ticking." Maxus called from the hall, making the duo groan louder.

"When are you gonna get more E-tanks Fenrir? We're running out."

"Why don't you go and get some?" Maxus looked up from the computer she was dismantling, eyes alit in fury at him.

"Because Fenrir, unlike you I can't hide my appearance seeing as my hologram device is glitching and I don't have the proper tools to fix it." The male reploid winced at the growl before he turned his attention to Harry, who was munching on some spare metal rods in boredom.

"Hey Harry, wanna come with me to the outside?" The boy looked up at the call and tilted his head at the question before looking to Maxus for permission.

"Do what you want, but bring Spike with you." Fenrir groaned loudly at that while Harry seemed a bit confused. "Who's spike?" Just as he said that a loud bang was heard followed by the floor vibrating and a large furry shape appeared before him.

"This is Spike, one of my more basic clones." The large, single eyed wolf-dog robot seemed to be scowling as it looked over the small reploid. Harry shifted nervously as it gave him a once over before huffing and sitting down on it's hunches beside him.

"Why is it, dear sister, that every clone you design all seem to be so angry looking?" Maxus barely spared her brother a glance as she fiddled with the black gem in the center of Harry's armour, tsking softly at the sting it gave her.

"All the blueprints I found had them all wearing the same annoyingly cheerful expressions, so I tweaked them a little to better suit me." Satisfied with her work the reploid tapped the gem twice and looked up to Harry.

"Can you remember your human form?" A slow nod was her answer.

"Good. Picture it in your mind, close your eyes and concentrate on the sound of my voice. The power in your gem should be enough to make a stable hologram."

Harry felt his eyes close at the command and began to picture his human form before the accident, the frail frame, the bruised knees from kneeling on the ground so much, the emerald eyes that shinned even when he was crying out in pain, the choppy black hair that covered over his scarred forehead.

Maxus watched as the green armour around the boy's body seemed to shrink back to reveal pale skin underneath. "You're doing great kid," The reploid's gruff voice echoed through Harry's mind as he flexed his muscles outward to loosen them.

Hot air poured from his mouth as he reformed his metal body to match with his human one, chest heaving with the exertion it took to complete the change.

Maxus nodded approvingly as she looked over his now flesh body. "Well done, though you might need more work on the eyes." She poked at the arms and was surprised to feel warmth radiate from it.

'This feels more real then the holograms we use. Odd.' Maxus looked down at the small boy, who stared back at her looking for approval. "Go with Fenrir and get more E-tanks. I'm gonna try and fix the teleporter."

"Better hurry with that, a mission came through over the net."

"Damn, better run then before the boss comes after us again."

"Good luck on that, bunny."

"Oh shut up and get lost already." Fenrir chuckled loudly as he motioned for Harry to follow him out the building.

"So you work?" The elder of the two wondered if this was a normal thing a child would ask, or if Maxus had tampered with the six-year olds brain as he answered the question.

"Well, both of us are maverick hunters." Harry looked confused at the word.

"Maverick Hunters? Who are they?"

"Maverick hunters are reploids trained to take down rouge reploids and protect both humans and reploid alike." Fenrir rubbed his chin in thought as they entered the large junkyard in the middle of nowhere.

After leaving the base the elder reploid had activated his jets and sent them flying off to the closest area with human life around in search of E-tanks.

"Maxus liked to boast that she was a rank A hunter, but the boss had caught wind and scolded us for using misinformation around the barracks." He quieted when they approached a guard dog sleeping near a pile of trash.

"Spike, could you disable that canine? Don't kill it please." The robot only nodded with a grumble before launching right at the dog and knocking it out. with a swift whack to the head. "So what was your rank then?"

"Both of us were classified as C-rank, but we've got a lot of power behind us so we are unofficial B-ranks."

"Why unofficial?"

"Because Maxus wasn't willing to be loaded with unneeded paperwork if we rise a rank, so she declined the offer of a promotion. I just followed her example." The elder reploid began rummaging through the piles of metal and trash. Harry followed his example before asking, "What is it we are looking for?" Fenrir looked over at him and held up what appeared to be a battery.

"If you find one of these or anything that holds electricity bring them here." The smaller nodded before continuing with his search.

An hour passes and the pile beside Fenrir has grown before he calls the younger to his side. "Now, this seems to be a good enough pile. Just gotta find a compression unit."

"Uh Fenrir, is this supposed to be what goes in E-tanks?" The elder reploid only shrugged as he gathered up the items.

"There aren't any E-tanks in this time era, they haven't been invented yet. This is only a replacement until we can get another supply." Fenrir took the trah with him to where they crushed garbage and dropped the items into a smaller compressor.

"Since reploids haven't been made in this era we have to improvise in ways to deal with our limitations, Maxus can't fix herself nor the computer properly, I can't use my guns without fear of having one blow up on me."

He pulled the lever and watched as the items were crushed to dust. Quickly he held a can over the device and began to collect the green liquid pouring down from it. Harry grimaced at the acidic smell emitting from it, Fenrir chuckled at his reaction.

"Don't look at it like that, once we get back to home base we'll be able to have the real deal, but for now we have to deal with this imitation." He finished filling several large cans before storing them in his gems, causing Harry to eye them in curiosity.

"You can ask Maxus all about your body when we get back, she knows more about that stuff then I do." The small reploid nodded before he was picked up by Fenrir. "Alright, now it's time to head back. We've been gone for to long and Maxus is probably annoyed so we best head out."

The elder powered his jets and launched himself up into the air and back into the forest.
