Richard Castle is looking and watching his partner Kate Beckett making out with Tom Demming. Both of them are acting like teenagers, he walked away and out of the precinct. Not caring about anything, he is still walking into the road not seeing the bus coming at him.

Then someone slammed into him very hard, sending both of them to the ground. He says something, "hey, what's big idea knocking me. Into the-" he stopped mid sentence. He is staring into a pair of coffee brown eyes, a young woman looking at him with anger. She just wanted to slap him across the face, but she got up.

She called over her shoulder, "your, welcome."

Rick watch as she walked away, he was ashamed of his acting. He should have thank her; but no he was lost in his own world. He whispered to himself; "I'm an asshole, plain simple."

He walked back to the loft, he made it into his office. Close the door behind him; he couldn't work much. So, he made dinner for him and Alexis. Both of them had good day together.

The Next Morning

He got up early, he wasn't sure if he should go back to precinct or not. He was going back and forth inside his head. He just decided, why not. He knew that he would pay for that later. He felt like a damn fool some days, why do I care if Beckett dating another man.

Rick got dressed and left for the precinct, he walked in saw Demming sitting in his chair. He shake his head, he saw all four detectives working together. He turn around to walk away from them, heading for the elevator. He hit the button, then as the elevator arrive. He stopped dead in his tracks, he was staring into a familiar pair coffee brown eyes.

"You!" She says to him.

"You!" He says back to her.

"You, work here too. I thought you were like a writer or something." She walks passed him; he followed her to Captain Roy Montgomerys office. He saw her opening up the door. Follow her right in, she is sitting by the desk. "Great, what are you a stalker of some kind too."

"No, I work with the NYPD for almost two years." Rick took the seat beside her; was looking over at his friend Roy.

"Excuse me. But, who are you to come in my office." The captain was angry with her.

"Captain Montgomery, unfortunately for you and your precinct." She was given an anger glare, at someone out of the office window. "There been some complaints against a robbery detective Tom Demming and homicide detective Kate Beckett."

Rick eyes were wide, that was a new one. What did they have against Beckett and Demming. "I'm sorry, about the other day. You, save my life the other day and I don't get the chance to thank you."

She give him an angry look, "just, be sure not to walk into another bus again. Cause next time, I won't save your ass." She turned back to face Montgomery, he was wondering what was going on.

Roy asked her; "who are you?"

She pulled out her badge, "I'm Rebecca Carson. I'll be watching over your team and supervisor them." She give Montgomery a hard look, "I also heard there was a lot of complaints against Kate Beckett, all of her former partners came with complaints against her. You, don't do anything about it. I hope you; have a good explaining for this and also give me a good reason why I shouldn't fire you."

Roy Montgomery couldn't believe it, "look, Ms. Carson. I thought detective Beckett earn her permission."

Rebecca shake her head, "I guess you were wrong in your assessments." She turned to face Castle, "I find out, the real reason you have a good close record of arrest is all thanks to a citizen." She give him a look and turn back to Montgomery and said, "very disappointed."

Rick is in total shock, he had never seen anyone ever talk to Roy, like that before.

Roy, Rick and Rebecca walked out of the office, Roy cleared his throat loudly. "I have an announcement to make." Everyone is looking at him; "I like to introduced you all to Ms. Rebecca Carson. She will be joining us for a while and will be watching you and supervising you all."

Rebecca steps forward and looked at everyone, "I will be watching you all very closely, there will be some rules. There will be no back talking, there will be no PDA and there better be nothing but respect." She see that everyone is looking at Beckett and Demming. "I will see you all in the morning."

After Rebecca exits out of the precinct, Beckett was livid and starts to complain to the captain. But he told her it was out of his hands. She then turn to Castle, starts getting into his face.

Rick leave the precinct after that episode, he gets home in record time. He goes inside his office, he opened up his laptop getting back to writing the heat novel. He just couldn't stop thinking about, the woman who had saved his life.

He had written one chapter for heat, but he worked on three chapters for a new book that had nothing to do with Kate Beckett character Nikki Heat. He stopped writing for the night, shower and put on his pajamas for the night.

The Next Morning

Rick had gotten dress and went back to the precinct, he saw Beckett given him a hard look. He wasn't going to look at her; he was standing far away from her as much as possible. He heard the elevator doors open up, saw Rebecca getting off like she was on a mission.

Rebecca is wearing tight tan pants, heels, a silk button up blouse and grey waist jacket. She grab a chair and watched all of the team, she is watching them like a hawk. She doesn't took her eyes off Beckett and Demming. She would write down everything in a yellow pad she brought with her.

It's time for a lunch break, Castle goes to himself a burger. He sits there wondering if Rebecca will get rid of him. He just sit there enjoying his lunch, he doesn't have to worry about anyone right now.

He looked up and see Rebecca enter with an unknown man. Both of them are entering a backroom, he watches them closely before the doors closed behind them.

He returned to the precinct, watching as Beckett team doesn't include him at all. He is wanting to leave so badly, but he couldn't. He turned up in time to see Rebecca enter.

She asked the team, "where are we at with the case?"

Beckett had a bright smile on her face, "we think the suspect is the victim own husband."

Rick don't agree, he thought it might have been someone else. But, Beckett and her team wouldn't listen to him. He had gone into the breakroom, he made himself a hot cup of coffee.

Rebecca is in the breakroom, she walked over to him. Sit down across from him; she asked him. "Something on your mind, Castle?"

Rick took a deep breath, "yes, I don't think it was the husband."

Rebecca asked, "why, do you think that?"

Rick told her his theory, she listened in detail description of how Rick, was telling her how the husband wouldn't kill his wife. That someone else was responsible, for her murder.

Rebecca listen great lengths, but tell him that his theory need a little more work. But, even as she said the words. Her gut tell her he is telling the truth.
