I know I haven't finished 'Dancing Queen' (My Harry Potter Story) but I'm having a bit of mental block with that one at the moment. I had this idea after reading a similar fic, and of course watching Strictly Come Dancing and Dancing with the Stars. I hope you enjoy it!

Ally stood silently, she could feel the tension rise in the air, her arm wrapped tightly around her partner as the music rose and the studio lights flashed. Her heart was beating million times a minute, nervousness creeping up on her as she awaited the results. She held her breath as Arabella began to speak.

She was a dancer, she had been since she was 4 and she began to realise just what dancing was, one Saturday class a week had ignited a fire within her, one full of passion and desire for dance. Now she was a professional dancer on a national television show, dancing in front of millions of people every week. 'Shall we Dance?' was a national favourite, and her she was in her first year in the final.

She glanced to her left, a scowl imprinting itself upon her face at his smug and confident look. Tyler Moore her boyfriend - well ex she supposed - had broken her heart and run off with his partner, who of course stood proudly next to him as they awaited the same results.

She supposed, in hind sight (Oh what a wonderful thing) that she should have seen it coming, they'd been partners since she was 12 and dating since she was 17, and now at 20, she supposed they'd out grown one another, she could hardly expect him to still feel the same, it was a child's love, but to run off and conduct an affair with the beautiful, statuesque Kira Starr, had broken her heart and her confidence, and now more than ever she wanted to beat him.

"The winners of 'Shall We Dance?' Series 16 are..." Arabella Peters paused again, increasing the dramatic tension in the room.

Ally could see Tyler's smirk, and wanted so badly to wipe it from his face with a well timed slap, but she wouldn't give him the satisfaction.

"Chris and Ally" Her eyes grew wide, and she felt Chris drop to his knees beside her in utter amazement at their achievement. She screamed in delight as shock cleared to happiness.

"Commiserations Tyler and Kira, how has your journey been on 'Shall We Dance?'" Nicola Joel asked her ex-boyfriend and his new girlfriend.

"Amazing, obviously it would have been amazing to win, but the best things come out of losses, and I have loved the journey with this man right here" Kira said, kissing Tyler's hand, though Ally couldn't even let that diminish her delight at beating his ass. Serves him fucking right. She realised of course, how bitter she sounded, but the satisfaction and proving even when he'd broken her heart se could beat him was evident.

"And you Tyler?" Nicola asked.

"She's been wonderful. Congrats to Chris and Ally, a well deserved win"

She rolled her eyes at that, he was simply trying to save face, but carried on celebrating regardless, being wrapped in the arms of her best friend Trish.

"Now before we crown our champions, lets have a word with them. Chris, how are you feeling right now?" Arabella asked her awestruck and exhilarated dance partner.

"Amazing, completely in awe, I want to thank this woman right here" He said, grabbing her hand. "For all of the hard work and effort she put into this, she pushed me to be better, and I honestly don't think I could have ever done this without her as my partner" He said, and Ally smiled at his sweetness.

"And you Ally, how does it feel to be our youngest ever professional winner?" Arabella asked.

"I'm in shock, honestly, Chris is amazing, and he's worked so hard, and here we are, I'm just so happy" She practically shouted down the microphone in glee, before she was pulled into one of Chris' bear hugs.

"And with that, it is our pleasure to crown you champions of Series 16" Nicola announced, walking to Arabella with the trophy, before the two presented it to the winners. Ally and Chris raising it above their heads in celebration.

"Chris and Ally everybody" They announced together. Ally's smile growing impossibly wider.

"That's all for this year, we'll see you next September, when a whole new batch of celebrities will be fighting it out for that very Mirrorball Trophy, until then, have a very Merry Christmas and Goodnight" Arabella announced. "Goodnight"

There we have it, just and intro, the real story starts in the next chapter!
