Chapter 1

Konohagakure No Sato

Hokage Tower

Council Chambers

Time: After the Successful Retrieval of Sasuke Uchiha

The esteemed chambers in the Hokage Tower housing the governing council of the village has been summoned by the elders, Tsunade tapped her index finger impatiently on the table. Unknown to herself, splinters rose and fell as her nail ground out the wood itself from the inhumane taps she was making on the timber.

Even as masked as her veteran gaze was, she had a feeling of foreboding about this. An urgent meeting with these old coots was never a good thing, especially if the smirks that threatened to cover their faces were anything to go by. Koharu, being the most influential one here, decided to start the proceedings, "Hokage-sama, we called this meeting to inspect the reports handed in by all squad mates sent to retrieve Uchiha Sasuke. Especially the reports concerning Uzumaki Naruto." she started.

Bile rose in her throat, this wasn't looking good, "I'm sorry, but with my medical duties I haven't had a chance to go over those reports. Even still, what did you wish to discuss?" she suppressed her fears and masked her poker face on.

"Genin Uzumaki used two tails worth of demonic chakra, chakra of the Nine Tailed Fox, and lost control over it to the point of almost killing Uchiha-sama - the victim he was sent to retrieve, his teammate and by proxy a Leaf shinobi - all because he wanted to show him who the best among them was." Koharu finished.

Tsunade's eyes were downright murderous, "I've seen both their injuries, and let me tell you Naruto's injuries were far graver than what that Uchiha had. How can you claim he lost control just like that, where is the proof?" she retorted.

In a surprising turn of events, "That could be attributed to the inherent skills and genius of the Uchiha, no?" asked Danzo. "He aced the academy, possesses the revered Sharingan and fully matured it in battle with Uzumaki. Had it been anybody else…"

He left the threat hanging, murmurs rang reverberated around the quiet chambers like buzzing bees, "Tsunade…" Homura fixed his glasses wisely, "…the council has deemed the boy an advent threat that must be suppressed, now." he explained.

Seeing almost no rebuttal, instead a handful of smiles, Tsunade bristled, "He is no threat…"

"We do not have the Mokuton anymore, neither do we possess the knowledge and sealing abilities of our past three Hokage's either. Do you truly believe you could suppress the full might of the Nine Tails all on your own if need be, Tsunade?" asked Danzo.

Tsunade glared, but said nothing. As much as she loathed to admit it, that damned cripple was right, "Even still…" she protested.

"Genin Uzumaki will be banished, that is the decision of the council Tsunade." Koharu cut her off.

Tsunade, having had finally enough, slammed her hand down on the table with a bang, "You make no decisions fools!" she roared. "I AM THE HOKAGE!"

Her declaration had absolutely no effect on them, instead they seemed amused, "That may be so, but this…" Homura threw a scroll on the table, unfurling it in front of her. The official seal of the Daimyo made Tsunade's eyes go wide, "…makes your say on the matter useless." he finished victoriously.

Tsunade, barely restraining herself from lashing out and snapping some necks, glared at them. Especially Danzo, "You too Danzo?" she asked, her voice incredulous and disbelieving. "No one knows more than you how much we need him." she pleaded.

The man shifted uncomfortably, she thought she had struck a chord, "Be that as it may, a weapon ticking to blow up in our faces is worse than having no weapon at all. We haven't used that resource anytime in the past, history serves us well hime." he finished stoically.

"The council and the Daimyo himself have deemed Uzumaki a threat to the village. The decision is unanimous, there is nothing you can do. Do not let personal feelings take over Tsunade, this was precisely why the Nidaime laid down such laws."

As much as loved the deceased man, she cursed her granduncle inwardly. "The seal is weakening; we will extinguish the threat before it ever comes to be. You have till dawn to let him know, or we will do it for you. That is all we can give you Tsunade, the council may be dismissed."

All elders, shinobi council members and civilian leaders got up to leave. Tsunade's eyes watered, she gripped the parchment in her hands in an iron grip. She felt so helpless that she hated herself for it, "Remember this day well…" she whispered.

Each one of them stopped for a moment before walking away, leaving a sobbing Tsunade behind them.

Konoha Hospital

Like shining fingers, sun rays peered through the open windows and lit awake the dank white walls with their luster. The gentle click of the door and slight shuffling of footsteps breathed a new life in the silent space.

Groggily blinking his eyes open, Naruto yawned. Though laying first glance at his visitor, he grinned, "Hey Saku-!"

SLAP!

Craning his neck around, eyes wide in disbelief, "What was that for?" he asked. Tilting his head aside, he couldn't quite comprehend the furious expression over his crush's face or why it was there in the first place. "I brought Sasuke back like I promised, didn't I?" he asked again. "Why did you slap me?"

"Brought him back you say?" she hissed. He flinched back on instinct, almost raising his arm up in self-defence he sat on guard. "I asked you to bring him back to me, not kill him in the process you idiot!" she snarled.

He sat there, stunned. Naruto himself knew Sasuke couldn't be dead, he had made sure not to land any fatal blows no matter what it caused him in the end, but did she not see the condition he was in when he came back?

Or right now, for that matter…!

"My mother and the rest of the village were right…" blinking in confusion, the stumped boy couldn't even make sense out of this conversation right now. "…you really are a demon!"

His wounds didn't hurt him as much as her screech, her words in particular, had hurt him. It was one thing to hear it from strangers he didn't know, but to hear it from the girl he adored, "Don't worry anymore, my mother is on the council. You be damned sure that she'd make sure to have you levied the highest punishment possible, banishment at the very least! How dare you hurt my Sasuke-kun you damned demon filth…?!"

His eyes were clouded by the time her screeches halted; he couldn't even see her leave the room other than the audible click his door made. He hadn't expected that, and after hearing that venom from her mouth, he honestly felt betrayed.

The same thing happened all over again with Ino; she too came to threaten him all the same by naming her father's influential position he was well aware of himself. Shikamaru along with everyone who went in the mission too, had come to reprimand him on almost causing their rescued heir to die, thereby making all their life endangering attempts almost negated. Kakashi had come in to wisely teach him, how he should have tried to talk it out with his friends, but more so how ashamed he was that he had openly made the first direct contact on his teammate with a technique as dangerous as the Rasengan.

But the cherry on top had been Jiraiya, going so far as to absolving his Toad contract and by effect his apprenticeship for shaming him by raising a killing attack on his comrade, with a technique taught to him by the sage himself. Sasuke had certainly gone through great lengths at concocting this makeshift story, he had concluded, but the delusions his so-called friends had accepted without a grain of salt were the ones that truly baffled him to no ends.

Next Morning

Hokage Office

A warm cup of sake lay filled on her table, but for the life of her, Senju Tsunade had not the courage to muster up and gulp it down her throat. She had called for her ANBU to retrieve Naruto, and guilt and regret were already gnawing away at her heart like lead stakes.

A puff of smoke later, standing there with all the conjured-up confusion of the word was one orange jumpsuit clad, blonde haired genin, "Obaa-chan?!" he whispered, utterly confused. "Why did you call me out so early? I'm still tired from my injuries you know, can't this wait till tomorrow?"

Seeing the innocence still lingering in those azure orbs, she all but muted out his adorable voice her heart couldn't get enough of. Steeling herself, "Genin Uzumaki Naruto, Registration ID - 17782." she said.

Naruto straightened up, knowing what protocol had just been initiated with those words. This particular introduction was only used by the village leader in case a matter of utmost importance rose up, one that went as far as to delve out these guarded details known to no one but the Kage and their shinobi themselves, "Hai." he said, his voice serious and lacking of all its usual chirp.

"Genin Uzumaki Naruto…" with a sharp intake of breath, she started, "…you are hereby stripped of your shinobi status and hereby banished from the Village Hidden in the Leaves for an undisclosed time…"

"B-But why?" he whispered.

"On the grounds of losing control over a power you had no control over, and effectively using said power to almost kill and or cripple a ninja you were sent to retrieve unharmed. You have been deemed a threat to the Leaf, and by the order of the Fire Lord himself banished, effective immediately."

His eyes welled up in unshed tears, the air itself felt thick and melancholic, "You may not enter the Land of Fire least you be executed without pending trial. By the powers bestowed upon me by the village laws - please hand over your headband."

She pushed her hand forth, not meeting his broken gaze in the slightest. His hands shakily rose up and pulled out the object from his pocket, brushing it with his thumb for a lasting moment while memories of how he had achieved it flashed through his eyes, he placed it on the desk along with another object that made Tsunade's heart shatter in a million pieces, "I won't be needing this anymore either, Tsunade-sama."

Pulling back his mask to hide his emotions, the necklace he had won fair and square was returned to its owner with a sad smile. Hearing him call her so formally had been the last straw, Tsunade broke down into a heap of sobbing mess, "When do I leave, Tsunade-sama…?" he asked, voice hollow as an empty shell of paper.

"Two hours…you have-two…" she told him, her voice cracking in choked sobs. Her trembling hands cradled the two objects as if they were her own heart, which wasn't further away from the truth as one might expect.

"I'll be taking my leave then." he stated. Her eyes went wide, "Wait, Naruto…!" she blurted out, he eyed her vehemently.

'Sarutobi, Kushina and Jiraiya might have succeeded in me not being able to be for him in the past but I would be damned if I didn't give him his father and clan's legacy' Tsunade thought

Pulling out an old wooden parchment out from her drawer, she handed him the antiquity looking scroll shakily, "This scroll contains your father's as well as his clan's legacy. it is linked to your blood and chakra specifically."

She couldn't say no more for it was all Naruto could hear before he had snatched it off her palms like a starved predator, "You knew him?" he asked her. She nodded her head, almost shivering how icy his voice had been.

"Yes, me along with a few others knew of him being your father. That scroll is the last piece we have of his legacy…" she admitted. He nodded, clutching the scroll as if it might slip out any which moment now. Clouded hazelnut orbs watched him walk out in pure anguish, all lost to herself and the portraits hanging of her grandfather, granduncle and Minato- staring down on her - from the wall.

'Jiraiya I hope you already left this village, because if not, I will personally send you to hell for this. And you Sarutobi-sensei, I hope your pitiful soul is suffering in the stomach of Shinigami for your crimes against Naruto and for what you let the villager do to him. No more miss nice Hokage. Konoha get ready for a real Hokage' was Tsunade's last thought as she watched Naruto walk out.

With Naruto

His feet took him home, eyes as lifeless as the reaper Naruto stared at the walls of his apartment with nothing but emptiness.

"Die Demon!"

"For the Yondaime/Uchiha!"

In the end though, he smiled, "I guess it was for the better…" his words lacked any conviction, or even life in general. Before even stepping in, he knew what to expect when the door to his 'home' was unlocked.

It was already broken in.

Anything of value was stolen, not that there was much of it in the first place, while the rest was demolished in some way or the other. He worked his way around the trashed room, swiping off the trash from the floor to lift up a tatami mat, one he had burrowed in thoroughly for these kinds of emergencies in particular, and retrieved out a couple pairs of clothes and supplies.

Leaving the house, not before glancing longingly at the Hokage Monument clear in view from his balcony, he made his to the gates only to stop dead seeing the last person on earth he wanted to see right now.

Uchiha Sasuke.

"Dobe." he greeted in distaste. Naruto didn't say anything, he breezed past him wordlessly as if he were a mere obstacle in his path.

Something Sasuke did not take lightly, "Now do you see what you get for trying to deny an Uchiha loser?" he snarled. Naruto stopped for a moment too long, inching to retort but in the end, he walked away without a word.

There really was no weight to his words now, was there?

"You are lucky to be left alive after what you did to your best friend, demon! Maybe the gods above may have seen your diabolical actions and may even enact their judgment on you!" a voice he had once adored, screeched from behind him. Even as rigid as Naruto willed his heart to be, that one stung.

With each step he took away from the village, a piece of his dreams and life died in blissful harmony.

Next Day

Hokage Tower

Hokage Office

Tsunade was patiently waiting for Jiraiya in her office, on her desk was a huge file detailing every event of the life of Naruto as well as every dark thing Konoha did after the Kyubi event.

'Today I will get all the answers that I want, even if I have to fight Kami' Tsunade thought

There was a knock on her door which bought her out of her thoughts

"Enter" Tsunade said as she saw Haruno and Hatake walk in her office making her blood boil

"Kakashi, Sakura, whatever is it that you want, say it quickly" Tsunade said in a no-nonsense voice.

"Lady Hokage, I request you to train my Genin Sakura Haruno in the art of medical science" Kakashi said with his usual eye-smile but was interrupted

"Your request is denied Kakashi" Tsunade said

"But why Lady Hokage?" Kakashi asked

"Do I need to tell you the reason Kakashi?" Tsunade asked while Killer intent leaked from her body making Kakashi and Sakura shiver while Kakashi shook his head in no.

"Also, Team 7 for the next six months will only be doing D-rank missions. Half of the mission payments of the Genin from those missions will be donated to Konoha orphanage. Kakashi your fee for your D-ranks which you will be doing for the next six months as well as your next 24 C-rank missions, 12 B-rank missions, 6 A-rank missions and 3 S-rank missions will be donated towards Konoha orphanage." Tsunade said shocking Kakashi and Sakura but before they could ask anything, Tsunade continued,

"Also due to your pitiful performance as a Jonin-sensei, your team is now under a probation of three months, in which if I don't see any significant improvement in both of your Genin students, then they both would be booted out of the Shinobi program with their chakra sealed and memory erased while you would be demoted to the rank of Chunin. And if you think that going to the council would help you then try it." Tsunade said flooding the room with her Killer intent making Kakashi fall on his knees while Sakura lost her consciousness.

Tsunade then calmed down and said, "Also Kakashi, you are to report with Genin Uchiha Sasuke to Anbu Torture and Interrogation division for Sasuke Uchiha to get the special traitor mark within the hour, failure to do so would result in you as well as Sasuke Uchiha being marked as Nuke-nin and Hunter-nin would be sent to kill you. Now leave."

Kakashi quickly nodded and left with his unconscious student wondering what he did to piss off the Hokage.

Tsunade took a few calming breaths as she heard another knock and called the person in but her blood again started to boil as she saw Jiraiya enter and sit with that stupid grin on his face.

"Hime, you called for me. Are you finally going to take me up on my offer?" Jiraiya asked with a perverted grin on his face which quickly left as he saw seals activate on the chair he was sitting on as well on the office's wall. Jiraiya soon realised that his Chakra was sealed as well as the fact that his whole body was paralysed while the office was sealed off to the entire world.

"Jiraiya I want you to tell me everything you and our bastard of a teacher have done to Naruto. And if you even try to lie to me or evade then I will spend the rest of the day taking you to death's door and reviving you." Tsunade said as she unleashed the whole of her Killing intent on Jiraiya making him realise just how hopeless his situation had become.

Eight Years Later

Land of Waves

Land of Waves, once a destitute backwater country under the heel of Gato, now is a prosperous trading nation, with businessmen, traders and merchants coming from all over the world. Tazuna became the new Wave Daimyo and with the help of wealth taken from Gato as well as taking the control of Gato enterprise by the people of Wave, ther started rebuilding the Wave country into a prosperous nation that it is today.

The people of this country owe it all to its hero, Naruto Uzumaki, the unjustly banished shinobi of Konoha.

When the news of Naruto's banishment spread, Spring country and Harugakure (formerly Yukigakure) terminated it's trading as well as military alliance with Konoha and Fire Country. Wave Country followed suit, upon paying off its mission. These blows cost Konoha and Fire Country much of its prestige as well as their position in the Elemental Nations.

But the worst blow to Konoha came two years ago when Suna and Wind country took apart their alliance one by one to the point that the only thing in the treaty was a mutual defence pact and free trading between their nations. Gaara wanted to terminate the alliance in its entirely but was stopped by the Wind Daimyo due to his past relationship with the Fire country as well as the fact that his niece was to marry the nephew of the current Daimyo of the Fire country.

So even though Suna and Konoha are currently allied the relationship between the two villages is tense at best.

But the biggest news surrounding the elemental nations was the alliance that has been formed between Kumo & Lighting country with Kiri & Water country, Haru & Spring country, as well as Wave country. It is said that these alliances have brokered by a masked shinobi named Asura Otsutsuki, a S-rank Ronin, a shinobi without a Hidden Village but not a missing-nin.

This alliance also helped Wave country setup its own military system which was unlike the rest of the nations. Rather than have a hidden village, Wave has army with two separate divisions of Shinobi and Samurai with different bases throughout the country. The head of each division answers to one person called the Grand marshal who in turn only answers to the Daimyo of the country.

It is also said that Asura was the one to train the Grand marshal as well as the heads of each of the division.

Once a relatively unknown, Asura appeared in Kiri over six years ago and steadily became one of the deadliest allies of the bloodline rebels as well as Masamune Date the brother of the previous Water Daimyo who was killed by fourth Mizukage Yagura who then took control of the country. The civil war in Water country ended four years ago with the bloodline rebels winning and Terumi Mei being named the fifth Mizukage as well as Masamune Date becoming the new Daimyo of Water country yet Asura continued his work, providing his services to Kiri, Kumo, Suna and Haru. His work earned him a reputation of an honourable as well as an extremely resourceful shinobi. It is also said that Asura has unparalleled knowledge of Space-Time Ninjutsu surpassing both the Second and Fourth Hokage.

Konoha also tried to employ his services but were each time refused. Jiraiya tried to track down this mysterious shinobi once, but ended up drawing the attention of Kiri and Kumo's shinobi who were more then happy to repay their debt to Asura.

Although there is no proof, it is said that Asura was the one who helped Tokugawa Ieyasu overthrow his half-brother Tokugawa Naosuke for the throne of Fire country three years ago. Ieyasu was unhappy how is half-brother was only indulging himself in lust, greed, self-importance, all the while letting his various advisors make decision for him who were lining their own pockets.

The rumour is that in only three months Tokugawa Naosuke along with all his advisors were said to have died of various medical issue while Ieyasu took control of the country with the help of Asura, Shinobi Monks, Twelve Guardian Shinobi (Which was reformed by Ieyasu) and Tsunade but no-one was able to find any proof of it. After which Tsunade with the help of Ieyasu was able to take most of the power from the Konoha council as well as restart the Military police of Konoha under her direct control.

Iwagakure no Sato as well as Earth country too went through a rebellion three years ago where Onoki, the third Tsuchikage as well as the Daimyo were overthrown within a month. Taro Katsura, one of the main generals of the Iwa army during the Third Shinobi World War and main opposer of Onoki's decision to sign the peace treaty with Konoha to end the war along with Shimazu Nariakira, cousin of the reigning Daimyo, overthrew both the Tsuchikage and the Daimyo and took control of the Earth country and started to heavily militarise it.

Katsura with the help of Rock (Anbu division of Iwa) which was loyal to him and the support from majority of the clans was able to give Onoki an ultimatum to either retire and name him the Yondaime Tsuchikage or he along with the shinobi loyal to him would fight for the position resulting in a civil war.

Onoki not wanting a civil war which would ultimately result in weakening of Iwa and Earth country and hence reluctantly retired. After which Katsura helped Nariakira overthrow the reigning Daimyo.

There is also the rumour that Katsura killed Onoki and his family along with the previous Daimyo to eliminate the possibility of any rebellion.

Kakuzu and Hidan, members of the infamous Akatsuki, were on their way to one of the islands of Wave country which is said to be the home of Asura. These eight years have not been so well for the organisation as they had only been able to capture the three tailed beast- Sanbi,Yonbi and Gobi while it was believed that the Jinchuriki of Nanabi and Kyubi have died, delaying the plans of Akatsuki. Their leader had sent them after Asura due to the massive bounty on his head since the organisation needed funds to move forward in their plans.

As soon as they reached the island, they saw Asura calmly siting there in a meditative state. When they saw him, it seemed though he was not as impressive as his reputation made him out to be. He was a 6ft man wearing a simple black suit over which he wore a silver shinobi armour of the same style which were worn during the warring clan era. He had a white falcon Anbu style mask and snow-white hair along with golden eyes that had larger than normal pupil. Although both of them were not fooled by his appearance as they could sense the feel of his chakra making them realise that this would be difficult battle.

"Kakuzu of Jiongu and Hidan of Jashin, members of the infamous Akatsuki. To what do I owe the pleasure." Asura said

"Nothing personal, we are just here to kill you and collect the bounty on your head." Kakuzu replied

"I am giving you one chance to leave and save your life." Asura said

"Ha, you think we would just leave like that, your reputation must be exaggerated, since all I see is a joke in front of me." Hidan said

"Very well" Asura replied as he released a sigh

Thirty minutes later

Kakuzu couldn't believe what had just happened, he and Hidan, two S-rank missing-nin, known for being immortal were know as good as dead. Well Hidan was already dead, since this shinobi had cut off his head and sealed it into one of his scrolls within the first seven minutes of the fight. And he, Kakuzu of Jiongu, who had survived a battle with the legendary Hashirama Senju, was now on his back, his chakra sealed, four of his masks defeated, while Asura was standing over him, ready to deliver the final blow.

"Before you kill me, I wish to know the real name of the person who defeated me." Kakuzu said

"Very well." Asura said as he removed his mask while letting the Senjutsu chakra leave his body making his eyes reform to its natural blue and hair to its blond colour, "My name is Naruto Uzumaki Senju, the Kyubi Jinchuriki." Naruto said while Kakuzu's eyes widened before Naruto plunged his sword into his heart.

Sealing Kakuzu's body, Naruto put his mask back and thought about the state of the Elemental nations. He had heard from his spy network of the alliance being formed between Iwa, Oto, Kusa and Wood country for the sole purpose of destroying Konoha.

In response Konoha too had called upon its allies consisting of Suna, Taki and Tsuchigomo clan.

At first it would seem that Konoha had an advantage if war happened due to its alliance consisting of two great shinobi villages but Naruto knew that Iwa and Oto have for the past three years have being heavily militarising their forces and were know on almost equal footing with Konoha and Suna.

There was also the fact that Tsuchigomo clan was no longer in the possession of their clan Kinjutsu Fury said to be capable of wiping out an entire village. The technique is said to have vanished with the sudden disappearance of Hotaru, who was the grand-daughter of En no Gyoja, former leader of the Tsuchigomo clan and developer of the Kinjutsu. This situation weakened the Tsuchigomo clan resulting in the weakening of Konoha's side.

Naruto had also heard that Danzo using prospect of the upcoming war was able to bring back his Root program on an official level. Tsunade tried to stop Danzo but was overturned by Koharu by stating that according to war time emergency act of Konoha charter, all military programs are to be reactivated in the defence of the village.

The alliance of Lighting, Water, Spring and Wave too have started to mobilise their forces to defend themselves while the minor countries have started to increase security of their borders while sealing some of their borders completely seeing as how it was them that faced the most damage in the Third Shinobi World War.

And now Akatsuki was again on the move to collect the tailed beasts for their nefarious goals. And since he had defeated two of their members, Naruto knew there was slim to none chance that Akatsuki would leave him alone.

'It seems that a huge conflict is about to sweep through the nations' thought Naruto

'I agree Naruto, if things continued the way you expect them too, then the upcoming conflict would eclipse any of the Shinobi war of the past and may reach the level of Warring clan era' Kurama aka Kyubi said in Naruto's mind

Naruto's relationship with the Kyubi has drastically improved in these eight years to the point that Kyubi told Naruto his real name which was considered to be sacred to the Biju as well as telling him about the history of his clan Senju and Uzumaki and telling him about his ancestor Asura Otsutsuki, whose name Naruto later adopted. Naruto while unable to completely unseal Kurama due to the fact that it would result in his death as well the fact that the Akatsuki would have a better chance of finding as well as capturing him, he was able to grant the Biju as much freedom as he could within his mindscape as possible in return Kurama trained Naruto in usage of his chakra and after six months of rigorous training, Naruto was able to master his Biju's chakra.

'I too agree with Kurama, Naruto. And if this conflict does escalate, you wouldn't be able to hide for much longer' said Minato Namikaze from within Naruto's mindscape. Another unexpected effect of Naruto granting Kurama his freedom was the unsealing of his father's chakra manifest that he left in the seal to help Naruto. And with the help of Kurama, Naruto was able to extend the life of the Chakra manifest as much as he wanted resulting in Naruto gaining an eternal advisor as well teacher in his father who now lived in his mindscape.

Naruto after listening to both his tenants disappeared without a trace and reappeared in front of a two storied modern wooden house at the centre of the island. Opening the door, he was greeted by the sight of two women who looked ready for a fight. These two immediately relaxed after seeing him.

The first one was a petite, androgynous, tan-skinned women who wore an orange clip in her short, layered mint green hair that matched her eye colour of orange. She wore a short sleeveless white midriff shirt with fishnet armour underneath, long white armlets and fishnets shorts with a short white apron skirt over it.

She was Fu, Jinchuriki of Chomei, also known as Nanabi, and former Kunoichi of Takigakure. She was rescued by Naruto from the hands of Akatsuki, about six years ago. After which she travelled alongside him and later became one of his wives.

The second one was a woman with short, black hair and distinctly pink eyes. She wore a red t-shirt and black pants over which she wore Anbu style armour. She was Kurotsuchi, grand-daughter of Onoki of both scales and the only survivor of her family. After the month of Katsura being the Tsuchikage, her grandfather mysteriously died. Her father suspecting that Katsura was behind it told her to get ready to leave Iwa since it was not safe for them anymore.

Kurotsuchi was ready to protest but one look from father and her protest died in her throat. She and her father had just made it to Earth country's border to escape to Vegetable country when they were stopped by twenty members of Rock. Her father had died in the subsequent fight and she was about to be dead too when she was saved by a falcon masked shinobi who she later came to know as Naruto.

While she was grateful to be saved by him, she didn't get along with him at first, but eventually fell in love him and married him, even after he told her that he was the son of Minato Namikaze.

"You are here" Fu said while she hugged Naruto and then continued in a stern tone after ending the hug, "You should've let us both go with you" while Kurotsuchi also nodded in agreement

"I would have if they were here for Naruto Uzumaki but they were here for Asura and I couldn't risk them trying to escape as well as to leak the fact that you too are alive." Naruto said in a concerned voice

"I know that Naruto but you have to agree that we would have a better chance to defeat them together." Kurotsuchi said with her arms crossed over her chest.

"Very well, I would bring the both of you next time such a situation arises." Naruto said in a resigned tone knowing it was no use to argue with his wives, making both Fu and Kurotsuchi grin.

"Now, I have something serious to discuss with you." Naruto said after which he told them about his suspicions about the future events.

"We knew this was always a possibility but on the bright side, Akatsuki only came here for Asura and don't know about neither you Naruto or Fu and both of you are believed to have died while the truth is only known to a few selected and trusted people. But with you killing two members of the Akatsuki, they would further investigate Asura, risking revealing more than we could afford." Kurotsuchi said

"There is also the fact that Iwa is getting ready to go to war with Konoha and there is high possibility of Wave getting involved since it is one of the most important strategic place for the upcoming war, which would mean that Kiri, Kumo and Haru getting involved and sparking the Fourth Shinobi World War. Akatsuki would not hesitate to take advantage of this situation to complete their goal." Fu said

"The immediate solution for this solution is to relocate from Wave, but where should we go?" Naruto asked

"We could go to Water country, I am sure Masamune Date would love to host us, not to mention Mei would also be there" Fu said, getting a mock glare from Naruto, "Oh please, we both know how much she loves you and the only reason she hasn't tied you to a bed is because, she isn't sure about whether you love her or not" Fu said. Before Naruto could counter Kurotsuchi joined in

"Or we could go to Spring or Lightning country and spend a night with Koyuki or Yugito" Kurotsuchi said after which both Fu and her started giggling.

A small falcon with a scroll in his claws appeared in their house before Naruto could respond to either of them.

Taking the scroll from him Naruto started reading it while he scratched the falcon under his chin. Once finished a serious look appeared upon Naruto's face making Fu and Kurotsuchi stop their giggling.

"What is it Naruto-kun?" Kurotsuchi asked in a concerned voice

"It seems we are about to have some unwanted guest on our island" Naruto said after which he told them about the content of the scroll making a look of fury appear on both of girls faces.

"I want you both to go to Tazuna's house and request a backup of at least eighty Anbu, twenty Anbu from each of the alliance nation and hide in the surrounding forest with them before our guest arrive tomorrow. Don't worry I have a plan." Naruto said once he saw the concerned looks on the faces of his wives and told them about his plan.

After they left Naruto thought back to how it all started

Flashback Starts

Naruto has just made it towards the south-west coast of Fire country, the location Kyubi told him to go before opening the scroll Tsunade gave him saying that he had a place for Naruto to train since the Akatsuki would still be after him and that he would need to get strong enough to face them.

Naruto once he was a safe distance away from Konoha had created thousand of Shadow clones and sent them all in different directions knowing Konoha would be tracking his movements while he used his special Henge which literally transformed him into another person rather than being a Genjutsu.

Naruto then went into a hotel and booked a room for himself after which he unsealed the scroll and pumped chakra into it seeing it was a storage scroll

Out of that scroll came 9 scrolls labelled: Letter, Ninjutsu, Genjutsu, Taijutsu, Kenjutsu, Fuinjutsu, Weapons, Money and Clan.

Naruto after reading the letter realised that his father was none other than Minato Namikaze, The Fourth Hokage. He also came to know that he had two siblings named Menma and Narumi and that her mother was to take care of him and his siblings after the sealing and if his mother didn't survive than the responsibility went to his godfather Jiraiya and his aunt Tsunade. Naruto also found out that he was the great-grandson of Tobirama Senju since Tobirama's daughter married into the Namikaze family while she chose live a life of civilian.

Naruto also found out that his father had sealed the Yang chakra of Kyubi into Menma and Ying chakra into Mito while sealing the soul into him. This part confused Naruto since he knew he had used Kyubi's chakra in the past.

Naruto sat in a meditative post to meet Kyubi knowing he would find all his answers there.

Naruto soon appeared in front of cage of Kyubi while the Biju just opened his eyes

"You have questions" Kyubi said while Naruto nodded

"I will explain everything to you as best as I can so don't interrupt me" Kyubi said and then continued

"When your father spilt me into three parts, sealing me into you and your siblings, he didn't take into account the fact that we Biju are pure beings of Chakra, meaning our soul and chakra is the same. When your father used the Dead Demon Consuming Seal and called upon the Shinigami to seal me, all he accomplished was separating me from my chakra which resulted in two more Kyubi's being born inside of your siblings but with only one part of their chakra while I have for the past thirteen years regained all of my lost chakra in this seal. It also provided me with a link to the other Kyubi which were born due to the sealing." Kyubi explained

Naruto nodded and then dreaded to ask the next question but one he knew he needed answers to

"Are my mother and siblings alive?" Naruto asked

"Yes, they are all alive and well, in fact it was your mother who told the stupid villagers of Konoha about you being the holder of my soul in the hopes of them killing you since she was prevented by doing so by some of your father's friends in the village after which she along with Jiraiya abandoned you as well as hiding your existence from Tsunade with the help of Hiruzen Sarutobi. I also know for a fact that the only reason Jiraiya came back to the village and trained you was because he heard about you using my chakra and wanted to confirm it since it was supposed to be impossible." Kyubi explained with a tint of sadness in his voice.

Naruto just nodded at that while trying to repress the anger he felt.

"What was the place you were going to tell me about where I could train to become strong?" Naruto asked while keeping his voice as neutral as possible to hide his anger but Kyubi sensed it all the same but didn't comment on it knowing his container had to deal with it on his own.

"The place is your ancestral clan home, the village of Uzushiogakure no Sato." Kyubi said after which he explained the way to reach there

Flashback Ends

Naruto after reaching the place had searched for anything hidden by his clan which was not found by the attackers and found some interesting things.

After which Naruto had trained for one year and nine months in every aspect of being a shinobi with the help of Shadow clones which accelerated his training and allowed him to gain fifteen years' worth of training after which Naruto left that place to travel the elemental nations.
