Mon-el ran out to the control center.

Mon-el: "What is going on?"

Agent 14: "An alien prisoner has escaped."

Mon-el: "Well I know where he went."

They went to the training room to see the broken glass on the floor and the covered camera. They started searching the room.

Winn: "Guys, over here."

He picked up a piece of glass that had a drop of blood on it where Spidey cut himself in his grand exit.

Hank: "Run it for testing. Now."

An agent ran out the door carefully holding the piece of glass. Mon-el explained what happened to the others.

Spidey kept on swinging through downtown. It was almost nighttime when he would normally do his best work, but this time he would have to be average Peter Parker. He saw some old clothes in an alley nearby, so he swung down and put them over his suit, stowing his gloves and mask in his pockets, and decided that he would just walk around and try to find a library to do some research at or something.

After a little searching to find a library, the first thing he did was go to one of the computers and look up the same things he asked for at the DEO and all turned up negative.

Spider-man: *I wonder if I will ever see my friends and aunt again. * Then as he pondered his limited options, he chose to hide out in the library for the night. He had to climb on the roof and hide in a corner sitting in a web hammock, out of sight from all the cameras.

The next day he was determined to do something but what: get home, get a job, find venom? He decided to see if he could find a place to work first, so he could get some money to stay someplace and buy food. A spider could only live so long without that. He went back searching through the computer and found an add for a wanted photographer for a big media company.

Peter: "Sounds the same as my old one, the least I could do is try."

He had looked to see when the next open interview is and found one later in the day. So, he chose to explore on his way there because it would take a while to walk.

Meanwhile back at the DEO.

Winn: "Guys look at this."

He pulls the test results from the blood test up on to the screen.

Winn: "Okay so most of his cells are human but they are highly radioactive and most of them have cellular regeneration but it's way slower than your speedy friend. Most of them have been mutated by some sort, he is probably a metahuman. I have no idea if this could be lethal for the kid or everyday life. But we should get him back here in case it is the former."

Alex: "So is he human then?"

Winn: "Looks like, probably mutated in an accident or I could be wrong, and he is a species very close to human."

Kara: "Is there anything about his blood that would tell us where he is now?

Winn: "Nothing really, no."

Kara: "Well I need to get to work, tell me if you find anything."

Frustrated, Kara flew out of the building in a huff.

Back to Peter who just got to his destination, a huge tall building with the word Catco written across it. He walked in directly to the desk and told them he was there for an interview. They nodded and pointed towards the elevator and told him where to go. Once he arrived on the right floor, he strolled down the hall through offices until he stopped at a huge glass office and walked in.

Peter: "Hello I am here for the interview."

James: "Ah yes great, come sit down. So, what is your name?"

Peter: "Umm my name is Peter, Peter Parker. I used to work for another company just like this, also doing photography."

James: "What company?"

Peter: "I don't think I am allowed to tell you, sorry."

James: "How did you get into photography?"

Peter: "When I was younger my uncle gave me this old camera, it was as fancy as they could afford, but it was still nice. I remember him showing me how to use it and such. We would make funny faces and do poses. Anyway, I just sort of picked up the habit."

James: "That's great, where is your uncle now?"

Peter: "He was shot in a robbery."

James: "Oh I am so sorry, I didn't mean..."

Peter: "That's fine, he taught me a number of great lessons, and it has helped me with choices in my life. I like to remember him."

James: "You remind me a lot of how I started out. I had a very similar story."

He then stood up from his desk and started pacing around the room.

James: "You know what? I like you; you have a great force driving you and it seems that you have good character. I would like you to work here, but for more of a trial run. Okay? Just to start with."

Peter: "Okay, sounds great." They both shook hands across the desk. And decided to talk a little more while James had some time.

A few hours later James' assistant Eve was packing up her things to go home when she saw Peter sitting in an office chair.

Eve: "Do you have a place to stay tonight?"

Peter: "No I don't, but I was thinking of staying here tonight. If that is okay?"

Eve: "No that is not okay. If you are doing anything, you will be coming back with me or with one of my friends, you poor thing."

Peter: "Are you sure? I can just stay here, no problem."

Eve: "Yes I am sure; you will come with me for now. Come on."

Eve walked out the door with Peter close behind. They both got in her car and drove to her apartment. Once there they got out and went inside Eve put some stuff out on the couch for Peter.

Eve: "You can stay here for a couple of days but I can keep you forever, I have some friends at work that may help out, but I will talk to them tomorrow."

Peter: "Are you sure about this, I mean it is very kind, but you don't have to do this."

Eve: "I definitely have to do this because if it was my nephew out there, I would want someone to do the same. So there, you are staying here the night and that is that."

Peter agreed and soon after they both went to sleep.
