A/N Hi guys! Here's the chappie. Thx for reading :) (Side note: Thanks to 1234booklover for beta reading this)

Percy POV

"What?" Nico said, a few moments later.

I quickly rushed outside to go see what Nico was hollering about. And what I saw, made me smile with glee.

There in the window of the house next to ours was a leaving Calypso and an angry Theia.

"Oh hi Caly!" I teased, as she got onto her two wheeled thing with pedals or whatever.

"Percy! Shush", she scowled, anger flashing in her eyes.

"Why should I shu-", I started before being cut off with a voice.

"Theia", the voice growled, slightly slurry. "You're back".

Theia was standing at her doorstep and the man was obviously behind the door frame.

"Yes, sir", Theia swallowed, fear and anger swirling in her eyes.

"Well, have you not been aware of the time, Theia?" the man mocked her, I could hear a smirk on his face.

"I'm sorry, sir".

"Hmm, well what were you doing? Market Day is a simple enough task for you, I would say?".

"Y-yes", Theia stuttered before lowering her head.

"YOU SHALL REFER TO BE AS SIR AS I AM YOUR FATHER. GET ON YOUR KNEES RIGHT NOW. And get inside, you useless child" Mr. "slurry man" said.

"Y-yes sir", I could hear before Theia was rougly dragged by the wrist into the house.

Several minutes before I had realized my jaw dropping to the floor, as I stood gaping at the spot Theia was just standing in.

"W-what?" Nico's voice penetrated my shock.

"Calypso, what happened?" I turned around to talk to her.

But I soon realized that her two wheeled contraption was gone.

Only leaving skid marks as a sign of her coming.

As we entered the house, packs of meat still in hand, Jason was writing something, brows knit in concentration. It was probably to Zeus.

He had definetely not heard any of the commotion outside and was invested in his writing

"I-I'll go send this meat back to the store", Nico mumbled

I didn't answer, caught up in my own thoughts: Why was Theia treated like that? She was obviously going to be hit. Why? And what's the deal with Calypso leaving in such a hurry? Does she have the same problem with her parents?

I didn't have a mother and had obsolutely no exposure to girls so I had no idea what happened.

All I knew was that I had to speak with Theia and Calypso about this.

As well as Poseidon.

*Next day*

"Your father, what?!" I was jolted away with a shock. I was hearing voices outside the house but that particular statement made me be woken up at 2 in the freaking morning.

Mumbling deliriously, I sat up from where my head was itchy on the hay.

"Nico! Be quiet! You could've waken up Percy or Jason!" I heard a female voice. I recognized it as Theia's.

"A bit too late for that, Theia Skulls", I muttered to myself, straining to continue listening to what they were saying.

"Why the heck would your father hit you?" Nico's voice came back.

"Because I'm a female. It's fine, I deserved it", Theia mumbled.

"Look, I don't have exposure to any female my whole life but I have enough common sense to know that that is wrong. I read it somewhere in Law 29 that all men should not have any pain inflicted on them. And that those who had inflicted pain, will get sent to prison 101", Nico whisper-shouted.

"Well, "all men" obviously does not apply to females", Theia grumbled in a "duh" voice. "I don't understand why you aren't hitting me right now because I have been so disrespectful. And Percy should've hit Calypso when she threw that meat at him".

"What?" Nico asked, I could just imagine his eyebrows knitting together in all of his confusion.

"Calypso should've gotten punished for hitting Percy with that meat, meaning that Percy gets to kick or slap her. I think Caly only did that because he reminded her of her father before he... became an alcoholic", Theia said slowly as if explaining something to a five- year- old.

"What? Did he change?" Nico asked, confusion lacing his words and voice.

"He did, and it obviously wasn't a good one", Theia groaned.

"Well what happened?" I could just imagine Nico's one eyebrow raising.

"It all started when Caly's mother died...", Theia murmured softly.
