"I'm not going anywhere, not without you least." Cloud turned his head back to the grave of his best friend. Aerith went up to him and grabbed his hand, she held it tightly to show that he wasn't alone. That she was here and that she wanted to be here.

"I-I don't know what to do now?" Aerith could hear the emotion in Cloud's voice, his voice breaking and tears threatening to spill.

"You go on, you need to. For yourself, for Zack, and for Tifa. I know Tifa's death is hard and I know how much it hurts you. It hurts me too, she was like a sister to me and now she's gone. Cloud, please don't let Tifa's death be the end of you. The world still needs a hero, our friends need you, the people need you, I need you." Aerith told him with much emotion and Cloud knew that she was right, but damn it! He wishes that she was here, he would give anything to switch places with her. But alas life isn't fair and he learned that a long time ago.

Cloud kneeled down to her grave and planted a single flower on it, a flower that Aerith recognized. It was the yellow flower that she gave Cloud when they first met, she had found that he gave to Tifa when she met her.

"I'll miss you Tifa, goodbye." Cloud said goodbye to his best friend and put a hand on her name.

"Let's go, Cloud. You can stay with me and my mom, we have room at our house and you can stay as long as you want." Cloud nodded his head and got back up, he looked to Aerith and hugged her.

Aerith was caught off guard by this, but hugged him back as well. Since she first met Cloud she always had hidden feelings for him and as the journey continued together she began to fall in love with him.

So it was a good thing that she got rid of the barmaid. Aerith with her mouth hidden from Cloud's vision smirked in victory. She now had her love and now no one is going to get in her way.

She and Cloud will be together forever and a new race of Cetra and SOLDIER will be born. She knows that her love is still hurting from the loss of the tramp called Tifa, but it was only a matter of time before he moved on and it would be her that he would move on too.

Aerith knows that Cloud has feelings for her, but he never acted on them because of Zack and Tifa. Zack because of the promise and the thought of him being with her will feel like he is taking something from his dead friend and Tifa because of his feelings.

Now both our gone and Cloud is all hers. She will give the happiness that Tifa could never give him and she will be by his side the whole way.

'Aerith Strife has a lovely ring to it. HAHAHAHAHA!' Aerith laughed in her mind, she broke the hug with Cloud, but still held onto his hand.

"Let's go home." Cloud nodded and followed her back to a house that would be his new home for a while. Maybe he should get a job as a delivery man and continue to work as a mecernary, but when and if the next threat comes. He will be ready for his Cloud Strife, the hero of Midgard.
