Nagisa was sitting at home practicing some music on his guitar, he was also wearing one of his favourite t-shirts which had the Millennium Falcon under the word Rebel. Nagisa was wearing it since it was May the 4th aka Star Wars day, he frowned about when it started, but he shrugged it off when he heard his phone ring.
"Hello?" Nagisa said
"Hey, I'm almost at your apartment, think you can let me in?" Kurahashi asked
"Sure thing" Nagisa said as he went to open the door for his girlfriend in, who gave him a quick kiss before noticing his shirt before removing his jack to reveal her own shirt which was a white shirt with pink sleeves and the insignia of the Empire which was also pink
"Rebel scum" Kurahashi said
"Imp" Nagisa said sternly before the two started giggling
"Star Wars day right, so what are we going to do today?" Kurahashi asked
"Maybe play either Battlefront II or Jedi: Fallen order, maybe watch Empire Strikes Back" Nagisa asked "Heck I finished watching the Clone wars before
"Why not just start at the beginning?" Kurahashi asked
"It's the 40th anniversary of Empire Strikes back" Nagisa said
"It can't be, I thought it was earlier" Kurahashi said
"Maybe we should looked up the release years of the movies" Nagisa said
"Starting with A New hope or Phantom Menace?" Kurahashi asked
"Episode order" Nagisa said
"Okay so we have Phantom Menace 1999- 21 years ago, Attack of the Clones 2002-18 years ago, Revenge of the Sith 2005-15 years ago, A New Hope 1977-43 years ago, Empire Strikes back 1980-40 years ago, Return of the Jedi 1983-37 years ago...wow it's been going a long time" Kurahashi said "Okay Force Awakens 2015- 5 years ago, Last Jedi 2017-3 years ago, Rise of Skywalker 2019-last year"
"And then we have the other movies: The Clone wars 2008-12 years ago, Rogue One 2016-4 years ago, Solo-2018-two years ago" Nagisa said
"That's like what 12 movies?" Kurahashi asked
"Yeah, 12 movies in 43 years isn't too bad; plus the dozens upon dozens of video games, books, comics, toys and who knows what else" Nagisa said
"Too bad half of it was declared Non-canon!" Kurahashi said
"That still irritates me as well" Nagisa said "Because there was so much cool stuff that happened in the Legends universe"
"I know, at least they'll canonise of things" Kurahashi said
"They have, like Thawn" Nagisa said
"Oh cool" Kurahashi said
"So what is your favourite movie of the saga?" Kurahashi asked as she curled up next to Nagisa as they watched Luke slice the under-armour of an AT-AT with his lightsaber before throwing a bomb in there.
"Overall, or of each trilogy?" Nagisa asked
"Well, what about of each trilogy" Kurahashi said
"That's tricky, but I have to say...3, 5 and either 7 or 9" Nagisa said
"Interesting choices" Kurahashi said
"You?" Nagisa asked
"2, 4, 7" Kurahashi said
"Now those are interesting choices" Nagisa said
"Well, Episode 2 is what I would call my guilty pleasure episode" Kurahashi said blushing
"Why?" Nagisa asked pausing the film waiting for his girlfriend to answer
"I'm kind of a sucker of the love story between Padme and Anakin" Kurahashi
"It was cheesy, and the only reason why most fans enjoyed it was because it sets up the Clone Wars"
"I know, but there's just something about saying 'I don't like sand, its course and rough and" she started
"That's enough of that quote" Nagisa said glaring at his girlfriend
"What if I told you I had a replica of that dress?" Kurahashi said
"Really?" Nagisa asked surprise
"Maybe" Kurahashi smirked before stealing the remote and resuming the movie
"Hey!" Nagisa said before he shook his head and settled back to finish the movie.
"So how about a few rounds of Battlefront 2?" Nagisa asked
"the old one or the new one" Kurahashi said
"I only have the new one" Nagisa said "which is still a good game"
"Only until they took out the microtransactions out" Kurahashi said "So why do you mark Revenge of the Sith as one of your favourites?"
"Well after the more lighter and family friendlier movies of the Phantom Menace and Attack of the Clones, plus it shows us the answers to many questions such as how did Anakin become Vader and what happened to the Jedi. Plus the lightsaber fights were pretty good as well" Nagisa said happily as he set up a game on the Scarif map
"But I think we can agree that Solo is pretty much the weakest movie" Kurahashi said
"Agreed, but it did have some cool things in it" Nagisa said trying not to die
"Name one" Kurahashi said as she took the controller after Nagisa died
"The Kessel run, the train heist, the fight against that dude who lead the Crimson Dawn, Maul's cameo which was done by the original actor" Nagisa said
"Okay, but everything else was not the best, especially when put up against stuff like Rogue One, The Clone Wars, the Mandalorian" Kurahashi said passing off the controller to Nagisa so he could have a turn
"That was good, but there is one thing which makes Solo look good" he said selecting a specialist class unit
"And that is?" Kurahashi asked as she adjusted her posture by tucking her legs up
"the Christmas special" Nagisa said
"Wait...wait...you mean that actually exists?" Kurahashi said "I just thought that was a joke thing"
"Oh trust me it is" Nagisa said
"Do you think that you can ?" Kurahashi asked
"No, no absolutely not! trust me, I'm doing you a service by not showing" Nagisa said before he was shot by a Rebel Rocket soldier
"My turn again" Kurahashi said "But you have to admit even though everyone was dreading it; Jedi Fall Order has to be one of the best Star Wars games"
"Agreed, up there with Episode 1 racer, Battelfront 2- the old version, Lego Star Wars, X-Wing, TIE Fighter, Rogue Squadron, Knights of teh Old Republic, Republic Commando" NaNagisa listed off
"Has there been any bad Star Wars games?" Kurahashi asked now laying on the longue
"I'm not sure" Nagisa said
"So now I have to ask one very important question, one that might changed the shape of our relationship" Kurahashi said in an almost flirty manner
"Which is?" Nagisa asked
"Sith or Jedi" Kurahashi said
"Ooh, what I want to be, or what I prefer?" Nagisa asked
"Prefer" Kurahashi said
"Well since you see most of them I would have to say the Jedi" Nagisa said "But know your and what is on your shirt I have to say Sith for you
"I'm actually Jedi as well, mostly because while they are perceived as peacekeepers they have to have the skills to fight, to mediate and negoiate not to mention they are limited by the rules of their order" Kurahashi explained
"But Sith lords do look cooler" Nagisa said
"But the main sith lord we see throughout the series is an old man" Kurahashi said
"True, and I guess him coming back in the ninth episode is a somewhat Diabolus ex Machina" Nagisa said
"A what?" Kurahashi asked
"You know what a Deus ex Machina is?" Nagisa asked
"Yeah" Kurahashi said as they switched so she was playing again
"Well the Diabolos ex machina is the opposite of Deus Ex Machina, meaning it works out in the villain's favour" Nagisa said
"Oh" Kurahashi said as the round ended and Nagisa pulled her in for a hug
"Well done Padawan" Nagisa said
"who are you calling a Padawan, I'm a Jedi Knight" she said poking him in the sides
That night Nagisa decided to practice a Star wars song on his guitar, picking it up and pulling up the music for the Binary Sunset track and started to softly play it on his guitar. He was He was disappointed that stay longer, but she had made plans for dinner with her parents, so he pulled out his phone and started to record it so he could send it to her later when he got a message from her, showing off that she indeed had a replica of the dress from the scene in Attack of the Clones where Anakin was talking about the sand, then she show that she also had a wookie onsie. So Nagisa laughed as he messaged back 'Looking good' he said before recorded the music he was playing and sent it to her before he decided to practice the them from the Mandalorian. Suddenly he got a message back showing that Kurahashi also had that costume of Leia's. "Where did she get that one?" he asked before sent back a thumbs up and a blushing emoji before he sent over the music he recorded.
G'day Guys Grizz here Well today is May the Fourth aka Star Wars day, though by the time you might be reading this it could be Revenge of the Fifth here in Australia. And so I wanted to write up a Star Wars fic. Originally I was going to post a chapter of My Jedi Mandalorian, only to remember loving geeks react to Episode IX, so I figured I would do a special where I just have them walking about different aspects of Star Wars from the movies to the games, also fun fact...Nagisa's shirt is in fact based off of one of the shirts I have and am currently wearing when writing this. And yes I did watch Empire Strikes Back
