Chapter 5: A Raven Who Wanders Into The Hawk's Nest

The sun shines brightly above the horizon as noon came to Vale. Everything seems peaceful and normal, as people go on with their everyday lives. Everyone but two, clueless to the bloodbath about to occur at the academy. Inside Beacon, and in the tall clock tower, tensions rose quicker than any steam from boiling water, as two experienced warriors with opposing ideals, face each other.

The younger of the two is Sasuke Uchiha, former avenger, shinobi of Konohagakure no Sato and bearer of powerful eyes. His eye on the right is the Eternal Mangekyo Sharingan, it allows him to use his clan's unique abilities, like casting illusions the moment you meet his eyes. On the other hand, his eye on the left, hidden from view by his bangs is the RInnegan. The purple eye grants him a diverse set of skills, specifically the six paths. Although the Uchiha is still far from mastering all the paths, he is still formidable as he mastered three of it, specifically the Deva, Animal and Naraka Path.

The Deva Path is the most powerful path he knows as it revolves around gravity manipulation. It allows him to attract and repel people or objects as he will, hindered only by a five second interval. The second path is the Animal Path, it allows him to summon powerful creatures he can control, that require no blood sacrifice nor hand seals. Moreover, the creatures he summoned shares his vision, allowing him to view what his summon sees.

The third and final path he mastered is the Naraka Path which allows him to summon the King of Hell. The said summon is capable of unzipping its mouth to release tendril-like arms that would draw out an apparition of the victim's life force energy in the form of an enlarged tongue. The King of Hell would then proceed to pass its judgement. If the person was lying or refused to answer the questions asked by Sasuke, the King of Hell would remove their tongue and consume it, killing them. However, if they told the truth, they would be spared, although left extremely exhausted.

The second power that the Naraka Path possesses is the ability to repair any damage. To do so, Sasuke orders the King of Hell to ingest the damaged body with its tendril-like arms into its mouth, then, after some time, the destroyed body will emerge from its mouth, completely rejuvenated. It was the same thing he did to regain his lost arm.

Besides this, Sasuke is also a skilled swordsman and ninjutsu specialist, capable of mowing through multiple shinobi without any help from his kekkei genkai. This is why the young Uchiha is feared across multiple nations and was even considered to be above kage level. Stronger than the hidden village's leaders, a god among monsters.

On the other side there is Ozpin, a brilliant strategist and the headmaster of Beacon Academy. However, Ozpin is no mere huntsman, as he possesses superhuman speed, creating green afterimages as he moved, almost rivaling that of Shisui Uchiha's Body Flicker. Moreover, the headmaster is also an immortal and the current reincarnation of Ozma, a warrior said to be of legendary prowess.

Due to accepting the task of uniting Humanity for the Gods, Ozpin has been endowed with the ability to reincarnate. This ability causes his soul to attach to a new like-minded host when his previous body is destroyed, the two merging memories and abilities over time until only a single soul remains. Because of this, the headmaster's combat prowess sharpened throughout numerous centuries, across multiple reincarnations.

Lastly, Ozpin is also capable of using magic, although greatly weakened when he created the original Four Maidens. Despite this, he still has enough to aid him in combat, as he is able to conjure an energy barrier to protect himself from deadly attacks.

The old huntsman and the young shinobi continue to face each other, although the former avoiding the latter's eyes, not willing to be caught in another illusion. Neither one of the two moved, both testing the waters as a second or two passed. The sun still gleaming at the windows of the quiet room, the only noise that can be heard is the beat of Ozpin's heart, anxious of what's about to occur yet steeling himself not show it.

After more ticks of the clock, Sasuke finally moved by lowering his sword and pointing its tip towards the floor. The gesture of the teen didn't confuse the headmaster, instead he became more alert, preparing himself at the Uchiha's move. After another second passed, Ozpin blinked, while the shinobi dashed forward towards the grey-haired huntsman, already capitalizing the moment.

The headmaster quickly steeled himself as the Uchiha jumped over the desk, now airborne with his sword raised in his right hand, about to slash at Ozpin. The headmaster didn't waste a second as he swiftly raised his cane to intercept the attack, creating a spark and a ringing sound as both metals heavily clashed with one another.

Sasuke landed on the desk and immediately kicks Ozpin with his right foot, only to miss when the headmaster docked at his attack. Ozpin then retaliates at his opponent's opening by driving his cane upwards with a swift and powerful thrust. Sasuke already anticipating the attack with his Sharingan, backflipped high into the air before it hit him.

The Uchiha vertically airborne again, quickly took four shuriken from his back pouch using his left hand before throwing it at Ozpin. The headmaster was about to deflect the projectiles using his cane when something strange happened. Ozpin's eyes widened, slightly caught off guard as the four shuriken multiplied becoming sixteen, all the while quickly closing on him.

After regaining his composure, Ozpin then proceeds to deflect the numerous shurikens at an inhuman speed, even leaving an afterimage in his wake. Some of the projectiles exploded in a puff of smoke while the real ones fell to the ground with a clicking noise. 'Some of them are clones? That's an interesting ability, Mr. Uchiha' the headmaster thought while looking at the teen who landed nimbly on the ground.

'So that's his semblance' Sasuke concluded while narrowing his eyes at the grey-haired huntsman. 'It's very similar to Shisui's body flicker… although slower' he thought before raising his sword and pointing it towards the wall at his side. Sasuke then uttered "Kusanagi no Tsurugi: Chidorigatana", as his weapon was engulfed by lightning. The sound of thousand chirping birds soon filled the room, as the lightning blade pulsed violently.

"I believe we've done enough fooling, Ozpin" the Uchiha started, while the headmaster narrowed his eyes at his newly lightning coated weapon. "Let's dance, shall we?" he finished, borrowing the line of his ancestor, the great Madara Uchiha.

The headmaster was about to reply when the Uchiha appeared in front of him at a neck breaking pace. Quick to react, Ozpin swiftly parried the diagonal slash of the teen's lightning blade before retaliating with multiple thrust attacks. However, none of the attacks landed as Sasuke recovered quickly and deflects it with ease, all the while backpedaling.

Unswayed by his failed attempt, Ozpin dashed forward, releasing another barrage of thrust attacks faster than before. However, just like his prior strikes, it was futile as the teen easily deflects it before responding with his own swift but deadly overhead slash.

Instead of deflecting it, the headmaster jumped away from the attack as his instincts honed by his experience throughout the years told him so. Trusting his instincts was proven to be the correct choice, as his former spot erupted in a rubble, when the lightning blade connects to the ground.

'That blade of his was far more dangerous that I initially thought' the headmaster mused as he looked at the damage caused by the teen's lightning imbued sword. He then narrowed his eyes at the ever emotionless Uchiha standing in front of the rubble, sword still in hand and ready to pounce again.

However, before Sasuke could dash towards the headmaster, Ozpin decided to take the initiative and rushes at him. The Uchiha, unaffected by the notion, prepared himself before also rushing at his opponent. The two experienced warriors then rapidly traded blows using their respective weapons, sword versus cane, thrust versus slash. Sasuke and Ozpin moved so fast that even a veteran huntsman would have a hard time tracking the two.

After a while of trading attacks, Sasuke noticed that the headmaster is moving faster and faster as the seconds pass by. Even with his Sharingan, he is starting to get overwhelmed by Ozpin's inhuman speed along with his rapid thrusts. Add that to the monstrous precision of the grey-haired huntsman as he is able to pinpoint the weak spots in his lightning sword that he can safely strike in order to repel the Uchiha's attack, all without the risk of his cane being sliced in half.

Deflecting another attack of Ozpin using his lightning imbued sword, he then kicked at the headmaster's chest with both of his feet before using the momentum to backflip into the air, in order to create space. The old huntsman was staggered at the sudden kick before recovering and attempting to dash at the now airborne Uchiha.

However, such response from the headmaster is what Sasuke desires, as he shifted his body horizontally in the air, facing Ozpin, for better stability. He then pointed his free hand towards the dashing huntsman before uttering "Chidori Eisō."

What happened next, is that the Uchiha's left hand became engulfed by the same lightning present in his sword, producing a chirping noise while pulsing violently. His hand then formed a spear made out of lightning that soon rapidly extended towards Ozpin, leaving the headmaster no time to dodge.

Sasuke smirked, thinking that he had already won as his lightning spear is sharp enough to pierce through aura. However, he did not predict that the headmaster still has his ace hidden in his sleeve. Ozpin swiftly halt his dart and shoved the tip of his cane on the ground, all the while crouching as the sharp tip of the lightning was mere inches away from his chest.

Soon, a green energy barrier was conjured, pushing the jutsu away from the headmaster's chest. Moreover, it was strong enough to protect Ozpin from the piercing capability of the Uchiha's lightning spear. Sasuke still midair, narrowed his eyes at the shield surrounding the headmaster, as his jutsu merely punctured the outer shell of the barrier, not able to penetrate through.

Ozpin then, capitalized the opening in the teen's defense as he nimbly dashed towards the airborne Uchiha before jumping, all the while the lightning spear still embedded at his barrier. Sasuke gritted his teeth while dispelling his Chidori Eisō, before twisting his body vertically and attempting to guard himself with his lightning coated sword, an erroneous move.

The moment the teen released his justu, Ozpin removed his barrier, slipping through the shinobi's guard before relentlessly attacking the Uchiha's chest with multiple thrust attacks. Sasuke wheezed as the air was knocked from his lungs, all the while losing the grip from his sword, lightning dispersing before harmlessly falling to the ground with a clank. The shinobi was then rapidly launched towards the wall by a powerful thrust from Ozpin, creating a small crater and becoming embedded on it.

The shinobi then inhaled hard, gathering as much lost air he could before attempting to remove himself from the pavement. However, the headmaster was persistent as he quickly appeared in front of Sasuke and delivered another series of thrusts using his cane, again knocking the air out of the Uchiha, making him cough blood.

After the last of Ozpin's attack, Sasuke finally tumbles face first onto the ground, too winded to get back up, defeated by the headmaster. "I regret it had to end like this, Mr. Uchiha. You must understand that you forced my hands to do this" Ozpin stated while mildly huffing, visibly tired from the battle as he looks towards the downed rogue student.

Sasuke then rolled around, back against the floor, facing the headmaster while his eye long time reverted to normal, due to exhaustion. "What will you do now… Ozpin?" the Uchiha weakly asked, as he continues to lay on the ground while looking at the exhausted professor. "I admire your skills young man… but I'm afraid I'll have to give you to the authorities due to your actions…" he sternly started, before walking towards Sasuke's left side and looking him straight in the eye, no longer wary of the teen's Sharingan.

"However, if you work for me, I can turn a blind eye on what occurred today. I very much hate to see your potential go to waste, Mr. Uchiha" Ozpin finished before awaiting a response from the shinobi. Afterall, allies are what he currently needs in his war against her.

Earlier, he originally thought that the Uchiha was sent by Salem to assassinate him. However, after their fight, he was more than sure that the teen in front of him is working on his own. Afterall, Salem is too careful with her pawns and how she plays. She wouldn't just send the teen to attack him head on at Beacon where he has his advantage. That's just plain impossible as her chances of winning is slim, in addition to the risk of her powerful piece being caught.

Unless of course if she has total confidence that the Uchiha will succeed, which Ozpin heavily doubts. No, Salem being a crafty perfectionist, wouldn't plan something as sloppy like that. Instead, she would take her time devising something bigger that would ensure her victory. If the Uchiha is indeed working with Salem, then she would just order him to stay undercover, to garner his trust and gather as much information possible before she would strike.

What the Uchiha did, is the exact opposite of what Salem would do, as it is rash and risky as opposed to slow and guaranteed, as to why there is no chance that he is indeed working for her. With Salem now out of the picture, that begs the question that lingers inside the headmaster's mind: 'Just what is the Uchiha after?'

Ozpin's line of thoughts was soon interrupted when the teen in front of him moved. The Uchiha, still battered and laying on the ground, pointed over his head, towards the direction of the desk while staring at the headmaster. Ozpin confused at the gesture, glanced towards his desk before widening his eyes at what he saw.

There, sitting leisurely on his chair, is the rogue student he supposedly defeated and was laying on the floor, Sasuke Uchiha. The teen's expression is the same, passively looking at him with mild interest, as his hands are clasped together on his stomach while his feet are raised on his desk.

Ozpin with a cold sweat, looks back towards the spot where the Uchiha is supposedly laying, his eyes widened again, visibly shocked when he saw no one there. After recovering, he then narrowed his eyes at the expressionless shinobi at his desk before opening his mouth to talk, only to find no words coming out.

With growing anxiety, the headmaster then tries to scour his brain, looking for an answer as to what the hell happened. However, instead of enlightenment, he found more questions that scrambled his thoughts, becoming more distressed than before.

"I do admit…" the raven-haired teen started, interrupting the thoughts of the visibly anxious headmaster. "It's quite amusing to watch you attack the thin air, Ozpin" Sasuke monotonously continued, all the while watching the huntsman flinch at the revelation. "Afterall, you've wasted your efforts, showed me your capabilities and for what? Fighting a mere illusion of mine."

Ozpin gritted his teeth, failing to quell his anger at the taunt of the Uchiha. He was humiliated as he played right into the shinobi's hands without even noticing it. 'Damn it!' he swore in his head before readying to launch himself again at the Uchiha. However, all was for naught, his eyes widened for the umpteenth time when he found himself unable to move.

"Save your strength, Ozpin" Sasuke coolly said, as he remained motionless from his spot, merely staring at the immobile huntsman. "You can't do anything while bound inside my illusion. No matter how hard you resist… you cannot escape" he continued, while the headmaster tries yet failed miserably at freeing himself.

"How?" Ozpin frustratingly asked, glaring at the Uchiha after finding his voice to speak. "Back then, when you noticed me inside your office… the moment you met my eye" Sasuke replied, all the while the headmaster slowly found the strength to calm his expression, although still angered and anxious inside.

"How is that possible? I broke free from your illusion… I-I didn't even glance at your eye when we fought!" Ozpin stated, frustration seeping from his calm façade, angered at the outcome of their fight while anxious of what's about to come.

"Hn, save your breath" Sasuke said, snapping Ozpin from his brooding. "You didn't break free from anything… after all, this isn't real" he coolly continued, emphasizing his every word for the headmaster to understand.

"The moment you met my eye… everything that happened, the Tsukuyomi, the fight, including this" the shinobi started as he extends his left hand forward, open palm pointing upwards before turning into a cast of hawks. "- is all in your head. The real you are still sitting on your chair while staring at my eyes" he finished as the cast of hawks returned, reforming his hand before the headmaster's very eyes.

Shock is not enough to describe what Ozpin is feeling when Sasuke stated the truth; that he was defeated the moment he gazed into the teen's eyes. Everything was an illusion afterwards, him breaking free, the fight, his victory. The reality is that he wasn't even able to do anything. He is still sitting on his chair, staring at the Uchiha's eyes, trapped inside the illusion, unable to move, unable to do anything.

'Calm down' the headmaster thought, trying his best not to look affected at the revelation. "Tsukuyomi? Moon Reader? Is that what you used to turn the skies red? Ozpin asked, as he remembered the Uchiha saying the term earlier. "You're sharp, Ozpin" Sasuke passively said, all the while weighting his options if he should tell him or not.

A few seconds passed before the shinobi chose the former. After all, he now has Ozpin under his thumb, it won't hurt to enlighten the old man, will it?

"To tell you the truth, that wasn't the real Tsukuyomi" he admitted, all the while Ozpin merely listened. "Afterall, it was a technique exclusive to my brother" he continued before smiling sadly at the memories of him and Itachi, an expression that didn't escape the headmaster's eyes.

"What I did is merely a false version of it, as a way to let you know that you are trapped inside an illusion" Sasuke said, as he reverted back to his expressionless façade. "So that you would attempt to break away from it, without knowing that you are still trapped -" he continued, as the dots began to connect inside Ozpin's mind

"So that I would be forced to show you my combat capabilities… am I right, Mr. Uchiha?" the headmaster interjected, earning a nod from Sasuke. "It was a ruse to see what power you hold, Ozpin. And seeing that you hold more than two semblances… that was quite the surprise" the shinobi said, suspicious yet oblivious to the magic that the headmaster holds.

"I do admit, that's an impressive plan, young man" Ozpin started, as he watched the shinobi with a calculating gaze. "Moreover, I'm quite curious how you are able to formulate a plan like that… did perhaps, your brother taught you that?"

The moment Ozpin said that, the Uchiha's face darkened. 'I see… a slip from your usual façade. A touchy subject perhaps?' The headmaster thought, his earlier anxiety long time gone as he calculates on how to gain the upper hand from the situation he is currently facing.

"Don't overstep your boundaries, Ozpin" Sasuke coldly replied as glared momentarily at Ozpin before reverting to his passive façade. "Very well, I do apologize for letting my curiosity get the better of me" the headmaster complied as he scoured his thoughts on how he will proceed.

"Then… allow me to ask you another question" the headmaster started, while the shinobi merely raised his eyebrow. "Just what are you after, Mr. Uchiha?" Ozpin sternly asked, while narrowing his eyes suspiciously at the teen.

"Is there something in Beacon that caught your eye? Or are you merely doing this as a testament of power? Surely you have your reasons, Mr. Uchiha. Please do enlighten this old huntsman's curiosity." He continued, all the while not tearing his eyes away from the teen.

Sasuke narrowed his eyes at the headmaster, as there was something odd the way he phrased his second question. Perhaps there was something hidden in Beacon that Ozpin desperately protects? No matter, he won't rush it as he now has all the time in the world to learn the headmaster's secrets.

"Do you remember the village that I told you about, Ozpin?" Sasuke asked, earning a hum from the headmaster. "I do remember… it was Konohagakure no Sato, the village hidden in the leaves. The place where you came from" the headmaster answered, to which the Uchiha nodded in confirmation.

"Though I must ask, what does that have to do with your attack on Beacon?" Ozpin questioned, while narrowing his eyes at the Uchiha. "I don't remember attacking Beacon, Ozpin. I am merely confronting you, after all" the Uchiha scoffed.

"You call this merely confronting? You placed me inside this illusion. This is not confronting this is an attack" Ozpin argued back, with more edge than usual. "It seems like you're uneducated as to what 'confront' really means, Mr. Uchiha. And I thought you're smart"

"Hn, are you done?" Sasuke questioned monotonously, unaffected by Ozpin's well-placed bait. The headmaster silently clicked his tongue, frustrated at himself for failing to get another slip from the Uchiha. "I apologize, please continue."

"In our village, everything is different" Sasuke started, as he placed his feet down on the ground, before leaning on the table. "We don't have Dust nor possess Aura" he continued, while Ozpin hums at the revelation. 'Quite rare, yet not impossible' the headmaster thought.

A village without dust is nothing new to Ozpin. Villages outside of the walls often use primitive means after all. However, the thing that piqued Ozpin's interest is a village filled with people capable of using Semblances all the while without Aura.

It wasn't the first time he heard of Semblance manifesting before Aura. Moreover, it wasn't also the first time he heard of people possessing Semblance but not Aura. It was rare but due to his immortality, he saw it all. So, when the Uchiha states that the people from their village don't possess Aura, it was quite a discovery to him.

"I do agree, your village is indeed different" Ozpin admitted, while the Uchiha merely nods before he continued. "Due to our village's reclusiveness, when I came to Beacon, imagine my surprise when I found out about both."

"Dust, a source of energy in Remnant. Its physical properties make it incredibly useful for a variety of purposes, including weapons" Sasuke repeated the short explanation he read from a book, while Ozpin raised his eyebrow. "That's it? You did all this for what? You want to gather Dust?" the headmaster asked with a hint of edge at his voice, as he found the Uchiha's explanation to be ridiculous.

"Don't take me for a fool, Ozpin. I'm not doing this for merely Dust" he replied at the slightly annoyed huntsman. "Then what do you want?" the headmaster asked, with his patience running low. "Don't you see, Ozpin? What I want is knowledge. To scour the whole Remnant for all its secrets"

"That's just plain absurd, not to mention shallow, Mr. Uchiha" the headmaster argued back, narrowing his eyes at the ridiculous teen.

"It's not quite shallow if you view it from my point, Ozpin. To our village, Dust and Aura are new" the Uchiha started. "Just imagine if they were introduced to it. It will be a breakthrough as our village will develop with the discovery" he continued. "Everything will change. Our lives will change for the price of Dust. So, imagine how more can our lives change if we gain more knowledge?"

Although, he didn't tell Ozpin the whole truth that he came from another dimension, similar yet different to where he is now. Or even as to why the discovery of Dust and the world of Remnant is a big deal. It doesn't change the fact that everything he said is technically the truth.

'The Elemental Nations will change at the discovery of Remnant' Sasuke thought as he stared at the headmaster. A shinobi's most powerful weapon is knowledge, after all.

They must know how differently the world of Remnant works in comparison with the Elemental Nations. Moreover, they must know why do they have Chakra while those in Remnant have Semblance and Aura. They must know the secrets this world holds.

Maybe the knowledge from this new world can help them progress, more than they could do on their own? Maybe it can even help them if another threat like Kaguya arises? So many possibilities, as to why Sasuke must continue his plans. All for the greater good of his people.

"I see… so you are telling me that you're doing this for the greater good of your people" Ozpin states, almost like he read the Uchiha's mind. "You want knowledge for your people? At the price of what? Killing me?" the headmaster questioned with edge on his voice, angry at the reasoning of the teen in front of him.

"Don't pretend you're disturbed by this, Ozpin. Afterall, you do the same thing, all under the banner of for the greater good" the Uchiha spat back, while glaring at the headmaster. "I know how people like you work. You keep peace by controlling everything. You try to keep everyone who you deemed useful under the tip of your thumb. You tried to do the same to me and look where it got you."

"Don't pretend you know everything about me, Mr. Uchiha!" Ozpin venomously spat, angered at what the teen said. Reminded of his failures, clouded by his emotions, no longer able to think straight and carry out his earlier plans.

"Hn, didn't you try the same thing earlier? To see what makes me tick? I merely did the same to you, Ozpin" the shinobi emotionlessly stated, unaffected by the headmaster's glare.

"And fret not, Ozpin. I won't kill you or anyone for the price of my goal… you still have some uses, after all" Sasuke cryptically said, while still under the headmaster's glare. "And what does that mean, Mr. Uchiha?" the headmaster pushed for answers.

"I'll activate the seal that I've placed in you, a genjutsu, which in turn will allow me to control you" the teen said, while Ozpin's glare hardened. "You're quite the hypocrite, Mr. Uchiha. You condemn me earlier for doing that, yet here you are doing the same" the headmaster stated, all the while not moving his gaze away from the teen.

"How does it feel to be the person you desperately hate?" Ozpin mockingly continued. Long gone was his level headedness, replaced by nothing but scorn at the Uchiha.

"Hn, say what you want, your words don't matter to me" Sasuke coolly replied. "If you lay a single finger to any of my students, Mr. Uchiha. I- "

"I won't harm any of them, Ozpin. To that at least, you have my word" the teen passively said, all the while Ozpin's glare didn't soften. "The only thing I want is control of the school. It will serve as my base of operations and a perfect cover from any prying eyes" the Uchiha continued.

"So, you plan to use this school as the lair of your people?" the headmaster scoffed. "Is that why you came here? So that you could control those who can see through your plans?" he questioned with edge on his voice.

"As I said, you're sharp, Ozpin… very much more that I would like to admit. So that I know you would be problematic to my plans if I leave you be" Sasuke answered. "That's why I'm here, to end the problem before it starts, a precaution"

"Also, I know you're hiding something, Ozpin" the teen continued, as he watched the headmaster widen his eyes. "And I'll soon know it" he finished cryptically.

"N-no! Stop this at once Uchiha!" Ozpin shouted in alarm; anger replaced by fear. However, all was for naught as the teen disappeared in a cast of hawks, before his very eyes.

Outside the illusion, Sasuke quickly performed a hand seal before muttering "Release." By doing so, the Uchiha removes the seal that protects Ozpin from the Genjutsu he placed earlier at the cliffs, therefore activating the mind control jutsu.

In other words, the seal serves as a barrier to prevent the effects of his mind control jutsu from activating earlier, in front of other people. By removing it, he now allows the Genjutsu to fully control of Ozpin's mind.

The effect soon occurred, as a reflection of the Uchiha's Sharingan appeared on the sitting headmaster's eyes, before quickly disappearing. "You work for me now, Ozpin" the shinobi coolly said, earning a nod from the old huntsman.

"Very well, master. What are your orders then?" Ozpin emotionlessly questioned, now under the control of the teen. "Refrain from calling me 'master' and act like you usually do. It's best to do that in order to avoid any suspicion" Sasuke replied, while the headmaster slightly smiled. Doing what he's instructed and acting like he formerly would.

"Now, tell me everything you know, Ozpin" the Uchiha ordered, to which the now brainwashed Ozpin nodded. "Very well, would you like me to tell you first about the eavesdropper?" Ozpin questioned, while Sasuke smirked. "So, you noticed too huh?"

Sasuke turned around and looked at one of the high windows behind him. Spotting an odd-looking raven outside, watching them before quickly flying off. "Stay here, I'll take care of it" the Uchiha ordered before disappearing, leaving nothing but leaves at his former spot.

'That boy is sharper than I thought' Raven thought, while flying on her corvid form. 'Even more, he did something to Ozpin using his eyes. Just who the hell is he?'

Earlier she decided to head to Beacon in order to spy at her daughter and Summer's spawn. The moment she got there everything was in the norm, classes are ongoing while Yang and Ruby are dozing off. However, there was something odd that caught her eye in a form of a raven-haired teen staring at her.

Even if she's in her corvid form, the teen was suspiciously eyeing her at the window, like he knows exactly what she is. Of course, Raven dismissed the thought and pushed it as a mere coincidence before flying off and heading at the headmaster's office where she would spy on Ozpin.

The moment she got to the windows, the odder it got as the teen earlier at the classroom somehow managed to get to Ozpin faster than she could. At first, she thought it was his semblance, that he is one of Ozpin's pawn and teleported there to alert the headmaster of her presence.

However, she was gravely mistaken, as she watched the teen do something with his eyes to control Ozpin. It was at that moment she knew that the boy is terrifyingly powerful and dangerous.

Raven knows that sooner or later; Beacon will fall and Ozpin will fail. Yet she does not care what happens to both, after all the tribe and her daughter is the only thing that mean anything to her. However, what she does not know is that Ozpin will fail, not from Salem but from a mere teen.

As to why, she decided to stay more, to observe the boy, maybe even learn of his intentions or who he is working for. A fatal error on her account, as Ozpin and the teen took notice of her. It was then she flew, long time overstayed her welcome.

Raven's thoughts were soon interrupted when the teen from before suddenly appeared in front of her, high in the air. Sword in held in his right hand, positioned above his head and rapidly approaching her. 'Shit!' she swore in her head as she folded her wings and twisted her corvid body to avoid the sharp blade.

After narrowly avoiding the teen's slash, Raven then swiftly spread her wings before flying down towards the Emerald Forest. She decided that running, or which in her case flying, is no longer an option as she looks back at the teen who's now riding a large hawk that appeared out of nowhere.

When she landed, she immediately shifted to her human form, all the while readying her sword, Omen. Preparing herself as she steadily looks at the teen who landed with his hawk. Her eyes soon widened behind her mask, as the giant bird disappeared in a puff of smoke.

'The hell is that?' she thought, confused as to where the huge bird disappeared to. 'Is that magic? But that's impossible! No men are able to wield magic except Ozpin… did he lied about it?' she questioned, all the while scouring her brain for answers. 'Look's like I'll have to find more about him then.'

"Hn, another masked fool huh" Sasuke stated as he narrowed his eyes at the unknown woman in front of him. The woman wears full-face mask that resembles the face of a Creature of Grimm. Moreover, she has a long black hair.

Her outfit consisted of a shallow cut black and red dress with black shorts underneath, with series of beaded necklaces and a belt that wrapped around her waist and carried her weapon's sheath. Attached also is a long feathery black object, with a red and white bandana material like hanging from behind her. Her forearms bear red armored gauntlets that protrude outwards and solid black gloves. She wore black mid-thigh high leggings with red splatter patterns and black heels.

"Who are you?" he coolly questioned as he readied his sword, Kusanagi no Tsurugi while eyeing the eavesdropper. "Just some poor old raven" the masked woman sarcastically answered. "Would you mind just letting this poor old woman go?"

"I'm afraid not, you know too much" Sasuke answered, all the while disinterested at the woman's sarcasm. "Afterall, a raven that wanders into the hawk's nest is a free meal" he said before activating his Sharingan.

"And here I thought we can make this a hell lot easier" she snarked before readying her sword, and going by her combat stance. "Tell me kid, do you work for her?"

"I do not work for this her you are talking about" Sasuke passively answered, before retrieving four shuriken from his back pouch and throwing it at the woman. The woman while unamused, swiftly deflects the nearing projectiles using her sword, creating a clanking noise.

'She's fast' the shinobi thought, as he observed the speed that the woman exhibited. Although, Ozpin has the superior speed, the masked individual in front of him is not lacking as her speed was almost shinobi- like. However, because of his Sharingan, Sasuke is still miles ahead of the competition.

"I don't have time for more games" Sasuke said as he pulls his thin ninja wire connected at the redirected but still airborne shurikens. In doing so, the projectiles along with the wire, loops around at the woman, faster than she could react.

"What the!?" she asked, surprised at the wire that tightly bound her body, her arms are tied together beneath her chin, all the while the same happened to her feet. Moreover, it made her lose the grip of her sword, allowing it to harmlessly fall to the ground.

She tried to resist and free herself but the wire tightens more, chipping at her Aura and making her tumble to the ground, face first. 'Dammit! I let my guard down!' Raven berated herself.

Earlier she thought that the shurikens used by the teen was nothing but a mere attempt to intimidate her. Letting her guard down was a feeble mistake, as it turns out, the projectiles served as a distraction to keep her from noticing the wires attached at them.

When she deflected them, they were redirected yet still looping around her without her knowledge. As such, when the teen pulled the wire, the shurikens along with the wire tightened around her, trapping her in less than a second.

"Bastard!" Raven venomously spat, as she raised her head to glare behind her mask at the approaching Uchiha. 'Dammit! Dammit! Dammit!' she repeated in her head, all the while Sasuke stops in front of her and slowly removes her mask.

'I can't move! I can't use my maiden powers!' she thought while gritting her teeth. Still unable to utilize the powers of the Spring Maiden, as her arms were bounded.

"Hn" the Uchiha grunted, while passively looking at the now unmasked woman. "I'll repeat my question. Who are you?" Sasuke questioned, as he looks at glaring woman in front of him, his Sharingan still flaring.

When Raven didn't respond, the shinobi throws her mask away, all without removing his gaze from her. "I see… stubborn and filled with pride" he continued, while Raven continues to glare at him from the ground. "Well then… looks like I'll have to force answers out of you."

Sasuke kneeled and stared at the eyes of Raven. Using his Sharingan, he casted a Genjutsu at her to get her to talk, but it didn't work. The Uchiha's eyes narrowed, confused as to why the justu didn't work, while the woman continues to glare at him. "What? Your eye powers didn't work? My my, and I thought you're so powerful" Raven mocked.

'There's something strange about her… I can sense another power, similar yet stronger than that of Ozpin's' Sasuke thought, as he scoured his brain for possible answers. 'The Sharingan in its base form is powerful enough to control Ozpin. Yet the feeble energy in her is able to resist it… just what the hell is it?'

"I guess I have no choice then" he cryptically said, as the three tomoes in his eye rapidly spins before stopping and forming into his Eternal Mangekyo Sharingan. He then smirked, as he looked at the woman who's no longer glaring at him. Instead, she's warily looking at the new pattern in his visible eye.

"The Eternal Mangekyo Sharingan is a Dōjutsu powerful enough to control the tailed beasts, being of ultimate power" He started, while Raven narrowed his eyes at the teen kneeling in front of her. "Let's see if your feeble power is able to resist this now."

AN: And cut! I hope you like this story after all it's such a pain to write! And I hope I made Sasuke's reasoning and arguments for confronting Ozpin understandable. I also tried my best to make Ozpin and Sasuke's fight scene to be as enjoyable as possible without being too short nor dragging it out.

Moreover, I do hope you guys and gals understand what Sasuke did to Ozpin. I explained as clear as I can in the story, I dunno if my explanation is enough so imma explain it to be sure. So basically, he already placed a genjutsu earlier at Ozpin (back when they met eyes at the cliffs) but the problem is team RWBY and Goodwitch will be able to notice it. So, to solve that, he placed a seal to nullify its effects therefore not controlling Ozpin earlier. By removing it then, he enables the genjutsu to take effect and therefore brainwashing Ozpin.

Now to answer if your wondering why Sasuke even placed an illusion when he could just brainwash Ozpin from the start is that he wants to know how capable Ozpin is. He wants to know his powers, etc.

This chapter's title is originally "The Raven Who Lost Her Wing" as Sasuke and Raven's fight was supposedly longer which results to Sasuke cutting Raven's arm, hence the title. But then I redone it cuz it sounds very un-sasuke, I mean why would he drag the fight when she's not in his interest like Ozpin was. Moreover, why would he choose to fight her when he can apprehend her quicker. So, there you go.

Why didn't Raven used her maiden powers? I rewatched her fight with Cinder on Volume 5. Remember when Cinder choked her? She needs to move her arms first before she could cast ice on Cinder's foot. The same is with Amber and Cinder, they need to move at least their hands to cast lightning and fire respectively. Because of that I came to the conclusion that Raven needs to be able to move her arms and hands first before she could use her maiden powers.

Why didn't Raven used her semblance? That's the thing she doesn't really use her semblance for combat purposes. She uses it mostly to make her entrance or exit so that's why she didn't use it in her fight. Raven also is impulsive as to why when Sasuke caught up with her, she stated this 'Look's like I'll have to find more about him then.' Basically, when she thought the Uchiha can use magic she stayed in order to see more of his abilities, which of course backfires to her being caught.

I'm sorry if some of you didn't like how easily Sasuke incapacitates Raven. I didn't nerf her of course, I know she's fast as hell but this is Sasuke we're talking about. One of the fastest shinobi in the EN, so she's easily outmatched. Moreover, I scoured my brain for the quickest possible way of incapacitating her and this is what I got.

Lastly, I decided to place a little twist of maidens being able to resist the normal Sharingan, so that the story will be a little bit interesting.

Anyways that's about it! The next chapter would be him bonding with team RWBY and maybe team JNPR also. Again, I still don't know when I'll be able to write the next chapter so I ask for your patience! See ya!
