Chapter 1: We're Here

9:05 a.m.

A small, little, orange-furred chimp looked about in the room he entered. There are many, other young Pokèmon present, playing around. Only five, he knew, the rest he didn't. He heard footsteps and turned beside him. His head looked up. A fair-skinned lady with shoulder-length brown hair looked at him in a motherly look from her black eyes. She wore a pale blue jacket with a white collared t-shirt, brown pants and black sneakers.

"They'll all be your new friends." Her voice spoke. "You'll all be a great team together. Will you be able to handle that?"

The small chimp stares at the group before he lets a child-like "Raaar!".

2:50 p.m.

A bigger orange-furred monkey with a flaming tail tip walked into a room. He kept on walking until he stopped directly in front of a table. He looked down and stared at a set of gloves resting on the table surface. He grabbed the gloves and held it in front of him.

"So, that's what chose you..." A voice spoken was intrigued from behind him.

"Ignatius... Ignatius..."

"It really suits you, Ignatius..."

"Ignatius!"

Skies above Johto Region

The one named Ignatius opened his eyes drowsily, also hearing the sounds of machinery moving. He is now a reddish-brown skinned monkey with white fur on his chest, lower legs and head. He had an orange, rounded muzzle, long, round ears with blue inside, and a red ridge over his eyes. Some of the white fur over his right eye had grown into a large bang covering his right eye. His eyes are blue with yellow sclerae. His chest has two golden swirls which are connected through a stripe across his back, flame-shaped markings on the back of his hands and swirled, circular ones on his knees. His fingers and toes are blue and he has a long tail. On his head, was a blazing flame. And it didn't even appear he is being bothered by it.

In front of him, just as he woke up, is a dark blue furred feline.

"We're almost there, Ignatius." The feline said.

The feline is much shorter than Ignatius. He had green eyes with light blue sclerae. He had a tuft of white fur between his folded ears, which had white on the folds of the ears, the tips and a white ring near the tips of his ears. His tuft curves slightly to the side. He has a collar of white fur around his neck, patterned with several stray tufts. His paws are white, and at his hips, is a tuft of fur on each side. He had two short tails, both which are pointed with white tips and a white ring near the end.

Their surroundings is a large rectangular-like metallic spacing, with Ignatius resting on a fold up metallic bench with cushions on the base and back. They could hear mechanical sounds around them.

"Weiss?" Ignatius said.

Weiss lets out a breath. "Still dreaming or something?" Weiss calmly takes his seat beside Ignatius. "You can really sleep anywhere, Ignatius." He comments with his arms over the other.

Ignatius shrugged. "Call it a gift. It's best if we have all of our energy before our next assignment."

"I know." Weiss said. "But what's with all the racket?" It was really noisy around the place...

"Whaddya say!? Come again!?" A rough, uncouth voice speaks out. Ignatius and Weiss turned their heads over to the right, seeing a blue bipedal reptile and a panda bear.

The blue reptile has a blunt snout, narrow brown eyes, and large ears with brown insides. There is a small horn on her forehead, a single spine on each ear, and a line of spikes running down the length of her back. Her hands has three short claws and her feet has two claws. Her lower jaw, the front of her abdomen, and two plates on her chest are cream-colored and she has a thick tail. "Let us see who is the better fighter right here!" she announces.

The panda bear, towering over her by a meter at least, has a stocky build with a round belly, short legs, and long arms with large paws. His head and belly are covered in thick white fur, while his lower body, chest, arms, and back are covered in equally thick dark gray fur. A long cape of dark gray fur hangs down behind his back. His paws have three fingers and have shorter, darker fur and are tipped with black claws. He has a blunt snout with a triangular black nose, rounded black ears, prominent fangs in his open lower jaw, and black semicircles under his brow that make his eyes indistinguishable. He has a small bamboo shoot with four leaves he is biting onto now. "Come on, bring it!" The panda bear shouts.

The two fiercely glare at each other, the sound of cracking knuckles coming from them mainly. But, before either of them made a move, the Pangoro flinches, clutching the back of his head with a sudden gasp. "Gray! That's enough!" A white-furred mustelid stood behind him. The mustelid is roughly the same height as the Nidoqueen, she had purple fur on the top of her head as a spot, the torso and bottom torso, and at the tip of her "arms", which are actually grown long fur covering her actual arms most of the time. She also had a short tail split onto two ends with purple tips. On her face are two long whiskers tipped yellow with split ends and a small yellow spot between her red eyes.

"Honestly, a fool would get himself into a fight before a mission!" The mustelid scolds. The Pangoro, Gray, still reeling in the pain of having that arm fur strike him, turns and leers at her. "Lusiane! That hurt! You son of... a..." Gray trails off as he suddenly sees the Mienshao's eyes suddenly shoot a sharp glare at his from calm a moment ago.

And in a matter of seconds, the Pangoro was on his knees, bending forward with his head down and hands resting on his kneecaps and completely silent. The Mienshao's eyes were somehow red glints of a terrifying presence. The Nidoqueen turned around. "...Well, I'd better get prepared for the battle..." she said. Not only three steps were taken before a long tuft of fur caught the Nidoqueen by the neck. "Not so fast, Claire!" was all that was spoken before she was pulled back. And just like Gray before her, the Nidoqueen is also on her knees with her hands on her kneecaps with her head tilted down, both under the temper of Lusiane.

Ignatius sighed and took a look around the interior of the transport they're in. There are others, nearly like him or so. There is a polar bear, a large raven, a short masquerade-like figure, a dino-like rhino, an insect-like dragon, a land shark-like dragon, a snowman-like monster, a slender chameleon, and a sea lion-mermaid hybrid with him.

The polar bear is quite tall, a bit taller than more of the taller Pokémon. He had bluish white fur with shaggy tufts at his rear area. Below his lower jaw, are three spikes of ice that form a beard. He has beady black eyes, small rounded ears and a long black snout. His forepaws had three black claws and paw pads on each paw. Despite being normally quadruped, he could stand very fine on his hind paws. And in addition, his half-lidded eyes show plenty of relaxation and calmness.

The raven's body is of a lustrous black colour, except for his lower beak and, which are matte. His feathers appeared to be steel, his mantle, breast, belly, flanks, and scapular feathers are smooth and resembled plate armor. His talons, upper back and head have similar steel armors. Above his red eyes with black sclerae around it, is a crest that resembles a crown. And below his beak, appears to be ruffled black feathers that form a beard.

The masquerade... she had white hair styled neatly and had a dark green mask around her red eyes with yellow lids.She had a long, leafy, green cape with a yellow, collar-like bangle on her neck, with the patterns of the cape reaching up to the back of her head in spiky extensions. Her arms, legs and underside are light green. On her hands, are bouquets. The right one is a red coloured bouquet, and the left one is a blue coloured bouquet. Finally, her feet are tipped yellow, like shoes.

The dino-like rhino is brownish-gray. He had orange, rocky-shaped plates around his hide around his waistline, shoulders, elbows, kneecaps, head and crotch. His red eyes are narrow and has a orange plate that makes it appear as large eyebrows. He had six visible fangs on his upper jaw. He had two horns: one large one with spiral markings above his nose, and one smaller one. The end of his tail is shaped like a boulder. At his elbows are prostitutions shaped like blades, his fingers being three and blunt and his palms had a small hole each. His toes were only two. Just below his head is his abdomen, with a line dividing the visible abdomen into two pieces.

The insect-like dragon had light green scales with some darker green scales on his tail as stripes and on his hinds and toeless feet. Compared to the rest of his body, his arms are incredibly small and thin with three clawed hands. He had two large rhombus-shaped wings with a red trim. His large eyes are black and are covered by red brille. He had two long green antennae that pointed backwards. At the end of his tail, are three rhombus-shaped tips with red trims around them.

The land shark-like dragon's eyes are intense, with black sclerae and gold-colored irises. His scales are primarily dark blue, with red scales occupying the area below his lower jaw to the middle of his abdomen, including the underside of his arms. There is a small patch of gold scales just below the red scales and on his face, are gold scales shaping up to a star. The horns by the sides of his head are shaped like engines from a plane. Two sharp fangs poke right out from his upper jaw. His feet have three white talons, and each arm has a single large, white claw for a hand. There are curved fins sprouting out from his arms, which allow him to take flight. Pairs of small, white spikes protrude from his upper arms and legs, and there are gill-like slits on the sides of his neck. On his back, is a large dorsal fin with a notch and another fin on his tail.

The snowman-like monster had an incredibly bulky build, most of his body covered by white fur except for his hands, feet and tail, which are dark green and rather spiky. He had pale purple eyes with bushy eyebrows and long strands of fur covering his mouth. Two tufts of fur grow on his back and chest, with his chest tufts being significantly shorter. At his back, are four green spikes which resemble pinecones.

The chameleon had light blue skin on his head, arms and tail, with the tail having a thin dark blue streak following the ridge of the tail. His eyes have yellow irises and white pupils with a black lower lid and a yellow upper lid, that gave it a semicircular pattern on his face. The dark blue skin appears at the tip of his head crest and on his slender torso, which continues down the backside of his legs until the bottom of the feet.The front side of his legs and feet are black, ending in three pointed toes. His hands are also black and have five fingers, appearing like gloves. Speaking of gloves, he is wearing a brown fingerless one over his left hand. He has a thin and wavy head crest from the top of his head to the back of his neck before falling over his back in a cape-like fashion. At his stomach, is white skin shaped like a diamond.

The sea lion-mermaid has white skin primarily, though her long fish-like tail is blue. She has a long snout with a round, pink nose, bright blue eyes with long white eyelashes, and long light blue hair trailing off the back of her head, tied into a ponytail by two pearl strings. She appears to be wearing some sort of tiara on her forehead, including a line of pearls with a pink sea star at one corner and a thin, transparent blue fin extending back over her hair. There are transparent blue fins around her body: one around her shoulders and chest, one around her waist where the fishtail begins, and one near the tip of her tail. Her tail is bright blue with small pointed, pink fins around her hips with two white tail fins.

The raven turns to look at Ignatius. "Emberkin." His voice came off as the sound of a middle-ager.

"Commander Gardious is calling you." Weiss informed Ignatius. Ignatius stood up from his seat and walked up to the armored raven. "Are you prepared?" Gardious Galecita asked.

"Yeah." Ignatius nodded.

"Remember: Our target is a chimera species. Save as many lives as possible and fell the three-headed beast." Gardious reminded.

"I kno-"

Ignatius stopped speaking as an alarm rang through the area. All of the Pokémon here responded by looking upwards as a speaker sounded. "We're arriving over Violet City. Prepare for battle!"

Gardious turned to the others. "You heard that right. We're nearing our drop points." He said. "Group A, prepare for landing!" As that came out, the panda bear, chameleon, polar bear and Weiss walked over to the bridge of the aircraft.

"Hey..." The shark-like dragon halted the polar bear, who turned to him with his ever present smile. "Try to keep the jokes to a minimum, alright, Guy? And... stay focused."

"Don't worry, Weegee~ This'll be alright~..." The polar bear said before he followed the panda bear, the chameleon and Weiss. They jumped off from the aircraft in their group of four. "Weegee" just rolled his eyes. Soon, Gardious announced, "Group B, prepare!"

At that, the insect-like dragon, Lusiane and Claire headed over to the bridge. The insect-like dragon appeared rather nervous, so the two female companions assured him before he is seen nodding. He then spread his wings as Claire and Lusiane jumped off before he followed them with flaps of his wings. Gardious stared at the bridge before he called out, "Group C, ready?" Ignatius nodded, followed by the dino-like rhino, the masquerade and "Weegee". The four got to the bridge.

The dino-like rhino pumped his arms. "Gonna be like old times, huh, Iggy, Lenna and Luigi?" he said.

"Easy, Brandt." The shark-like dragon, more properly known as Luigi Duonter, said.

"Let's go." Lenna Florence told the other guys. They nodded and jumped out of the aircraft, diving into the air (For Luigi's case, he is flying through the air).

They continued down their descent, Brandt diving down faster than the others, in which Luigi dove to him and grappled his feet onto Brandt, diving down and landing in Violet City. The moment Lugi set Brandt down, he immediately picked up speed and shot into the air, flying up and getting Lenna on his back and Ignatius under his feet and soon reached the ground.

"Okay. Now, where's the chimera... It shouldn't be hard to spot-" Before Brandt could finish, they heard a bestial roar. Luigi looked over at the direction of the roar. "You got your answer."

The other three looked over to see a large golden-brown furred foot crush a car beneath it, scattering glass around it and bending metal about. Looking up, they could see their target more clearly. It is a colossal quadruped golden-brown furred beast. Though, it had three heads instead of one. The left head is a dragon scaled with icy blue, the middle head is a lion with a thick mane of orange and the right head is an eagle with white feathers. In contrast with its titanic size, it had a short green scaled tail with some sort of strange tip. The base around its feet have been matted with red. The beast is about fifteen metres in height, turning it's three heads in front of it.

From where they were, they saw the lion's head breathe fire from its' mouth and burning the soldiers that were facing it to indescribable bodies, the dragon's head exhaling cryogenic breaths that immobilized caught soldiers in frigid casing before ultimately smashing them apart with its feet, and the eagle's head expelling powerful wind currents from its beak.

Brandt turned to Lenna. "Mind telling us what this is..."

"It's a chimera. Known to belong to the Pride sub-species of the Dulled." Lenna said.

"Let's come up with a plan to engage it and draw it's attention away from the city." Luigi said. "For instan-"

They heard a heavy stomp and saw the chimera land, it's body bent forward before it lifts its heads up so they could see it from the trees covering it earlier. They caught sight of a pair of legs sticking out from the lion's mouth before it opened again and tilted its head up and consumed its' meal.

Ignatius managed to catch sight of a young girl fallen to her knees as she looks at this towering creature in fear. Without any second thought, he ran forward before the others. "Hey, Iggy! We haven't come up with a plan!" Brandt shouts.

Luigi grits his teeth. "I expected no less from him. Action first, planning midway." Luigi then sped off as well. Lenna and Brandt soon followed behind them.

Fire began to spurt out from the mouth of the lion's head as the chimera looms over the girl. The girl couldn't even move... not after all this... She shielded her arms in front of her, preparing for her end. The lion's head dropped down, scorching the streets with a breath of fire. Crackling of fire resounded as the chimera looked over at the burnt bodies there. The dragon's head suddenly snarled and the other two heads turn to see a sudden flickering ember away from where the breath hit. An Infernape settled something in front of him. It was the girl.

The girl stared at the Pokèmon in front of her. "An Infernape...?" she said in wonder. Ignatius turned towards the chimera, looking at her. "I'm here to help, run!" Ignatius shouted.

But what came out from the girl's hearing is "Screeee! Re!" Nonetheless, it appeared the girl got the message and started running away. Ignatius nodded and quickly turned back to face the chimera. The chimera bellows out a roar from it's three heads as Ignatius runs to it. The chimera first expels fire, which Ignatius dodged to the right and the eagle's head simultaneously follows up with a spiral of windy breath. This time, Ignatius jumps into the air, evading the wind breath and spinning over the fire breath. Then, the dragon's head reacted with a breath of ice. Fire cloaks Ignatius' fists as he points them and fires a blast of flames from his palms, countering the icy breath and spreading vapor all around them.

The chimera turned its three heads around, but before it could do anything to expel the thick steam more quickly, it is struck by a strong impact. Luigi did a u-turn as blue energy dispersed from his figure. At that, a pale ball of energy converged with the vapor and hits the hide of the chimera. The eagle's head manages to see outside the vapor more quickly than the other heads and spots Brandt. He had a grin on his maw with his right foot raised. The eagle's head only managed to open its' beak before the Rhyperior stamps his foot down.

A spiked stone pillar bursts from beneath the chimera and before it knew it, the pillar sent it off it's feet and it crashes onto the streets behind it, flattening cars that were there. The stone pillar sunk back into the ground as Brandt pumped an arm.

"Careful, it's not over yet." Luigi reminded as he landed beside Brandt. Lenna ran up beside them as the chimera gets on its' feet, clearly furious. "No need to tell me!" Brandt laughed.

"Remember: Our main focus is to draw it away from the city." Ignatius said as he regrouped with them. The chimera howls and the dragon's head prepares a blast of ice.

It didn't even make that move as something hits its face with enough force to cause the head to lose focus. It was water. How did the water come? A black-tipped finger dripped with water, belonging to the chameleon. His location was on the rooftop of a building... a hundred metres away from the chimera. Weiss stood beside him.

"Nice shot, Sunai." Weiss said.

"It's no problem." The Inteleon, Sunai Kinshot, replied. "However... The scales were too hard to pierce through. I'll aim for the other parts of the chimera to determine its vulnerable points."

"Gray and Guy should be there now to aid Group C." Weiss looked back at the fighting. "When you find vulnerabilities, I'll inform the others."

Back at the party engaging against the chimera, they performed evasive maneuvers against the breaths done by the three heads and occasional swings of its hooves. Ignatius backflipped to dodge a swung hoof and shot fire at the chimera. He catches sight of someone jumping off the roof, generating a large icicle on their arms. It is the polar bear.

"Ice to see you!" the polar bear announces as he slams the icicle down on the chimera during his descent.

"Guy!" Luigi said. "And what did I tell you about jokes..?"

Guy bounced back on his feet as the chimera shook its body. "He's hard as a rock!" The chimera reacts by slamming its' hoof down towards Guy, who reacted with a roll to the side. The chimera swiftly turns and thrusts a back hoof towards Guy. This time, he drew his arms in front of him and stumbled back after the impact.

"It's hopeless~! My paws feel numb!" Guy said.

"Outta the way, ya'ow!" a voice shouts loudly. Brandt and Ignatius turned back to see Gray dashing towards the chimera with a fist drawn back. They jumped out of the way as Gray shouts out a battle cry and slams his clenched fist at the chimera's torso. A strong shockwave burst from that punch and the chimera is sent flying through the streets, crashing into a building and tearing it down. Lenna groans at that destruction, putting a bouquet in front of her face.

From where they were, Weiss and Sunai shook their heads.

Gardious, who was flying to the battle, witnessed the scene and lowered his eyes.

The chimera gets up from the rubble, now more agitated than ever. The strength of it's attacks intensified as it shot more powerful blast of fire, ice and wind. The chimera is suddenly hit by a near-invisible strike. It came from the insect-dragon flying towards them, his wings vibrating rapidly as he fired another one of those concentrated soundwaves. "We're here!" The dragon calls out.

"Fran!" Ignatius said. "Stick to the plan they gave you!"

Fran nodded. While the others focused their assault, he shot Boombursts and occasional blue pulses at the chimera. Fran soared behind the chimera, nearing the tail area. He prepared for another attack... then, the tail suddenly thrust towards him. That "tail"... was actually a serpent's body. Its head was shaped like a piercing blade. Fran's eyes widened. The snake skewered him... or did it? The snake did go through Fran, but it didn't feel anything at all. Just then, it saw another Fran, and it drew it's head back to look at the Fran it attacked fading away without any injuries. Fran breathed a sigh of relief, glad that the mirage worked before he continued his attacks.

Gardious had arrived at the fight and is now engaging the chimera with his aerial strikes. "Don't beat yourself up, Grandpa!" Brandt shouts, summoning a massive boulder before giving it a punch and throwing it immediately. The boulder bursts into several smaller boulders, bludgeoning the chimera. Gardious huffed, evading the blast of fire before diving in and slashing the chimera with his wings. All the while Sunai continued to fire shots at his position.

Lusiane jumped from building to building before she jumps over the chimera. The chimera looks over at her graceful spinning, the mouths charging attacks to her. Luigi rushes over and slams against the dragon's head. Ignatius jumped and slammed a fist at the lion's head sideways. Gray does the same to the eagle's head. The three heads fired off their breaths, but all of them missed Lusiane as she descended through the redirected blasts. She dives down and thrust a palm down to the chimera's body before doing more acrobatic leaps around the chimera's body and doing the same thrusts, avoiding the tail as well. She finally kicks off with a stunning moonsault and touches down on the ground.

Brandt looked over to the Nidoqueen who just arrived beside him. "Claire! Gimme a hand!" he said. Claire pats her arms. "If we can't move it like this, then we make it move." The two ran up towards the chimera in the midst of the fight. They saw the hooves coming down towards them and raised their arms up. Their feet sunk down with the weight of the chimera, but Brandt and Claire remained unharmed. Their arms pulsed with strength, pushing up until...

"Hraaaaaaah!" Brandt and Claire shouts as they simultaneously lift the chimera by its front feet and threw it behind them with incredible strength. The chimera roars in shock before it smashes onto the ground. "...Well, they roughly got the objective done." Weiss commented.

"Yes. And I'll now lure it away." Sunai said. "Weiss, help out with the escape of civilians." Weiss nodded and flickered away. Even in a downed state, the chimera could see escaping civilians from where it laid. The eagle's head reacts with a current of wind towards the fleeing group. Before the wind reaches, Weiss appears between the civilians and the wind blast before spreading his arms and conjuring a barrier that blocked the wind blast.

Sunai took that opportunity to shoot at the chimera, drawing its attention to him. He smiled as the chimera gets back on its feet and starts to walk backwards as it faces him. He then turned around and jumped as the building is mowed down by the chimera. Gardious caught up with the chimera and dove to slash again repeatedly. He moved with incredible speed and evasiveness that the chimera's attacks couldn't land on him.

A red spark started to glow from Gardious and he noticed it. Just in the middle of his breast, the spark is emanating from there, a red crystal embedded on him. He focused his attention to the chimera and nodded to himself. The other groups arrived to see the red spark intensifying.

"Grandpa Gardio's gonna Gigantamax~!" Guy sang.

"...Guy..." Luigi shakes his head.

Gardious' pupils momentarily flashed with an 'X' mark before his body is cloaked in a red energy that darkened his body. He suddenly multiplied in size rapidly and stopped when his colours returned. Gardious is now as tall as the chimera. There are three red clouds formed over his head. His wings are now streaked with glowing red patches of energy, and his ruff of throat feathers is more robust. The plate on his breast and belly separates into two adorned plates, and the plates on his flanks become slashed. There are eight feathers sticking out from his back, shaped bird-like. Gardious and the chimera both looked at each other... their surroundings appearing twisted.

The chimera roars, tackling against Gardious. "Hrah!" Gardious swings his feet up and kicked the chimera. The chimera reels back and sends fire at him. Gardious anticipated that and flew up to avoid the blast of flames. There are a few clicking sounds as the feathers on his back flew out, glowing with the same red energy he is exerting. He caws loudly, and the feathers fly and slash against the chimera's hide. Fur and blood were drawn out as the chimera howls. The chimera expelled fire again, and Gardious flew to the side, and evaded the subsequent wind shots. He dove to the chimera and caught it with his talons. With great wingbeats, he lift the chimera off from the ground and high up into the skies, flying and spinning away from the city.

"Come on, we can still support Gardious!" Ignatius said. The groups began to run ahead. "Head to the designated location!"

"Okay, Iggy~!" Guy said.

Just around that moment, the sea lion-mermaid and the snow monster were sitting together at a clearing. After their landing, Gardious had ordered them to be here.

"Do you think you're fat?" The Primarina asked the Abomasnow.

"No." The Abomasnow replied.

"But, look at you... you're so... round, and wide..."

"No."

"...I wonder what's taking the others so long... What do you think is holding them, Arubo?"

"..." Arubo just moved his mouth like rustling.

"...We've been stationed here by Commander Galecita in preparation to destroy the chimera..." The Primarina looked in front of her. "...Ignatius..."

"...Hm..." Arubo just shifted his eyes at that call of the name. He tilts his head upward. "...Heads up, Aria."

"Hu-?" The Primarina looked up and gasped. The chimera is smashed onto the earthen ground in front of them, and further struck by eight flying bird-structured blades. The creature howls, the eagle's head unresponsive. Arubo didn't seem fazed as Gardious landed on the chimera, further driving it down into the already expanded crater and felling surrounding trees.

"Let's go!" Aria raised her arms and summoned a wave of water to attack the chimera.

"Hm..." Arubo reached for his back, plucking out one of his spikes, which one instantly grew back. He threw it at the chimera. The spike touches the chimera, suddenly bursting into an array of vines and wrapping around it. The chimera roars in pain, feeling it's energy drained away more prominently than ever.

The groups unite at the crater and perform their attacks down at the chimera, further weakening it. Aria's hair becomes undone as she began to sing, hitting soundwaves at the chimera with Fran pitching in with his Boomburst.

"Hmm...!" Arubo inhaled deeply, his chest expanding. Luigi saw that earlier than the others. "Out of the water! It's Sheer Cold!" Listening to Luigi's call, they all get out of the crater as Arubo exhaled a frigid breath. The moment it touched water, ice spread at an alarming rate. The ice sped and hit the chimera, spreading all around its' figure in an icy prison.

"Now!" Ignatius shouts, charging in.

"Understood!" Luigi nodded.

"Aye-aye!" Gray shouts out.

"You got it." Guy brings his arms back.

"Roger that!" Brandt charges.

The five males charge towards the frozen chimera, their arms surging with strength.

"Haaaaaah!" Ignatius, Luigi, Gray and Brandt shout out. Guy kept a relaxed smile as they all leapt across the frozen chimera and struck through it. They all landed after their strikes, the structure of ice shattering into chunks and fragments, collapsing down with pieces of the chimera intact. The ice soon vanishes, taking the imprisoned pieces with it.

Gardious, still colossal, nodded to them. Then, he glowed through red pulses just like how he transformed into that titanic size. He shrunk rapidly until he returned back to his original size. Gardious brushes his breast and covers up the crystal.

"Mission complete." Gardious said. The members turned to each other and chattered, talking about the battle. All but one. Gardious shifted his eyes to look at Ignatius. "Ignatius."

"You guys go ahead first. I have one more thing to do." Ignatius said.

With Gardious behind him, Ignatius walked on a building's rooftop. He looked at all of the survivors of the attack gathered around at the plaza area. There are reporters, journalists, and et cetera interviewing all of the survivors and asking many questions. Ignatius focused on the crowd, soon finding who he was looking for. "Commander, a feather." He said to Gardious.

The old Corviknight nods and plucked out one fairly-sized feather. Ignatius nods and takes the feather, running his finger across the feather with a tiny flame. He looks back at the girl he rescued earlier during the attack and threw the feather towards her direction. The girl was finally left alone from the various questions asked and prepared to head back home until she saw a feather fly in front of her. The feather rests on the ground and she picks it up and inspects it. The black feather had a symbol of two wings facing each other with something written beneath the symbol.

"WINGS"

12:55 p.m.

Near Johto Route 36

Ignatius returns with Gardious back to the other members. They were all situated by the clearing Gardious directed him to. The members all sat around, discussing about various things.

"Wow~ That was an incredible fight~! Did you see how I jumped and slammed an Icicle Crash at the head~?" Guy said.

"You did good, that's for sure..." Luigi said. "...Though... joke-wise... that was bad."

"Oh no~ You're making me blush, Weegee~..." Guy laughs sheepishly. Luigi sighed, shaking his head.

"Arubo freezing up the chimera like that and the five of us jumped across and smashed it to pieces, ya'ow! I did the killer finisher!" Gray says triumphantly.

"What're you talking about?" Brandt looked over at Gray. "I'm the slowest, so I did the finishing blow!"

"Huh!? What didja say!?" Gray glared at Brandt.

"Alright, guess we're gonna settle this here and now..." Brandt pumped his arms.

"I'm ready, you f-"

"...Ahem."

Gray and Brandt turned to the voice initially in vehemence, but it all wore off when they realized who said that. A look of vehemence was returned to them from Lusiane, more than theirs combined. They drew back... and silently turned to each other, bowing their heads down.

"Even they know never to test Lusiane's patience." Sunai muses.

"Y-yes." Fran nodded in agreement. He sighed to himself silently, looking over at a certain someone away from him.

"Chimera Novus..." Weiss mutters to himself, writing onto a parchment. He appeared to be writing details about the monster they fought.

Aria, Lenna and Claire were huddled up together, chatting about various topics that most of the guys had a hard time understanding it.

Arubo just sat by the trees quietly, looking at the others.

Something flew overhead, and everyone stopped chatting to look up. It was the aircraft they used to travel to here. The aircraft flew down, hovering above ground and lowering the bridge. Gardious shifts his eye to the side of his head. "Excellent job, Atad. Hmm... Hyperwarp teleportation, you say?" Gardious said. "...Very well. You can activate it." He looks at the others. "We're returning back to base. Head in."

All of the members head into the aircraft and it takes to the skies upon that. A stream of pale energy flows around it before it starts to sparkle. The moment it starts sparkling a lot, it suddenly disappears above the forest.

1:00 p.m.

WINGS HQ

The airship rematerializes above a mountain range, where a set of buildings could be seen in the middle of the mountains. This place is their base, their headquarters. There is that emblem Ignatius drew on that feather earlier with WINGS below it. There is small writing below it, displaying "Warriors InterNational Guardian Security". The aircraft hovers above a hangar before the roof opens to grant entry. The aircraft automatically descends down, touching down onto the ground.

The bridge is brought down and all of the gathered members for this mission left the aircraft. Gardious turns to the other members. "You now all have free time to spend for the day. Dismissed." And with that, Gardious flew through the door of the hanger, an electrical board above the door displaying...
