Hello everyone, so as I promised in the last chapter of "Natsu's Daughter", here is the second Fairy Tail fanfic I wanted to write. I hope you like it, I wrote it because I always liked the bond between Natsu and Wendy and I wanted to write about it since there aren't a lot of story centered around their sibling relationship.

Chapter 1: Meeting her

Year x772, in a small village in the middle of the forest

Everybody in the village was now living without knowing what was going to happen in no time. They were all happily going through their life.

Though, suddenly, seven people with black cloaks hiding their identities entered the village, walking toward the center square with an intimidating aura surrounding them. Everyone started looking at them, wondering who they were and why they were here.

As they stopped on the square in the middle of the village, the leader removed his cloak.

"We are The Dark Sphere, we are a dark guild. Now you have two choice, either you give us all your expensive possessions and we will leave your village without doing anything, or you can refuse and we will destroy the village and kill every inhabitant."

The villagers stood there in silence, wondering what to do. They started whispering to one another to choose what to do. After a few minutes, one of the villagers walked toward the dark mages, he stopped and looked at them.

"We won't give you what we have, we need these things, and you don't deserve them, so just leave our village, you won't have anything from us" he said

"Are you sure you want to make such a choice, if you choose now you won't be able to go back if you end up regretting it" the dark mage said.

The villagers didn't answer, instead, the strong ones stood in front of the weaker ones and got into fighting stances ready to defend their village and their loved ones.

They saw the dark mages smirking under their cloaks and their leader turning toward them.

"Well guys, you know what to do" he told them, before turning back toward the villagers, prepared a fire ball above his hand, as all the other mage did, and a second later, fire started to rain on the villagers and on the houses, destroying everything on its way.

The leader turned to the man who had stood up to him and who was still alive, standing, watching around him incredulously shocked and broken by what he saw as all the people he knew where dying around him.

"So, tell me, was it worth it?" the leader of the dark guild asked him

"No" the man answered before receiving a fire ball to the head and dying on the spot.

The whole village was on fire, screams and cries where heard all around town as the dark mages were destroying the houses and burning people alive. Parents were asking for pity for their children, begging the dark mages to let the children live, but they listened to nothing, killing everyone, man or woman, old or young, child or adult, they ruthlessly destroyed everything around them.

As all of this was happening, a pink haired boy around five years old was hiding in the bushes, paralyzed by fear as he saw all he ever known being destroyed.

After some time, the whole village was destroyed, everybody seemed dead.

The leader of the dark guild gathered all the mages around him.

"Search everywhere around for anything that still have value, search for any survivors, and if you find any, kill them, if they survive, they might warn the magic council . Now go and be quick, we should leave as soon as possible" he told them, a second later, all the mages were searching around the village to steal everything they could.

Natsu was still hiding, trying to stay hidden and not to get noticed. He was scared, he wanted his mommy to comfort him.

A few minutes later, he saw the mages gathering once again.

"Well, let's go now, we've got everything we could" the mages finally said. Then, all the mages ended up leaving the village or rather what was left of the village: ruins and corpses.

As soon as Natsu was sure he was alone, he quickly started running toward his house, trying not to look at the burnt corpses of people he knew, calling for his parents.

"Daddy! Mommy!" he called as he was getting closer to his house.

Though, even when he was in front of the door, he got no reply. He saw his house was completely destroyed. He wanted his Mommy, he knew she would know what to do, she would make everything better. And, with his daddy, they would be safe, he would protect them from everything.

Though, as he searched around, what he ended up finding was too much for him to take.

He saw his parents' bodies on the floor, next to one another. He knelt down next to them and started to shake his mother.

"Mommy wake up" he called, but she didn't move, he then went to his father's body and tried shaking him too.

"Daddy, wake up" he called, tears running down his cheeks.

"Daddy, Mommy, why don't you wake up, please, don't leave me alone" he cried

"I need you mommy" he continued, hugging her body.

He didn't know what to do, what could he do all alone, his parents weren't waking up, his village was destroyed, what could he do.

After a few hours, he finally decided he was going to search for help somewhere, he didn't know where exactly, he'd just have to walk and look for help anywhere he could.

Though, before he left, he started to hear cries, baby's cries. He hesitated a bit but then decided to look for the baby to see what was happening and what the problem was.

He started walking through the village, searching where the cries where coming from, he finally found the house from where the cries where coming, after entering the house, he found a baby bedroom with a crib in the middle.

When he came closer, he saw a baby girl around one year old with blue hair crying in her crib. When she saw him, she raised her little arms toward him, wanting to be comforted.

So Natsu gently took her in his arms, and she quickly calmed down, happy to not be alone anymore.
