Hello, internet, my name is Mike Rosales.

I am a 17-year-old boy. I mainly play video games, watching youtube videos on random shit, and going voicework for fiction characters.

According to my school teachers, friends, and my mom, I am an amazing actor. I was so good at acting that my school's drama club president wanted me in her club.

But, enough about me. I am here to tell you a story about my experiences with this game called Terraria.

But before I share my story, I just want to make something clear.

This isn't one of those "Haunted Game" stories. At no point, are you going to hear me claim something within the game spoke to me directly, look at me through my computer screen, or forced me to inflict self-harm on myself.

No, this isn't about a haunted game or a game doing something impossible or even something it shouldn't have.

This isn't about a glitch or a hidden Satanic message and at no time did I phone Re-Logic Headquarters only to have my questions answered with hushed whispers or anguished screams.

This story is about a game feature I don't think anyone else has unlocked.

That's it.

No ghosts. No conspiracies. Just a secret we were all supposed to find, but never did. Something that changes Terraria to a whole new level.

And today, I am going to share my experiences with this never before seen game feature.

If you haven't played Terraria, I recommend that you do now so you have a better understanding of what I am talking about.

It all happened one fateful day...

Mike Rosales POV:

This game feature appeared after I killed the Moon Lord.

My Terraria avatar's name is Darth Messoris Vantablack and is a male.

Messoris's hairstyle is the first one. His clothing style is the fourth clothing style. A trenchcoat with long pants and large shoes.

Messoris's skin is tan colored. Messoris's hair is black. His shirt, undershirt, pants, and shoes are black.

Here is what I have on my avatar.

My tools: Light Solar Flare Pickaxe, Light The Axe

My weapons: Legendary Star Wrath, Legendary Red Phasesaber, Godly Terrarian, Ruthless Vampire Knives, Unreal Phantasm, Unreal Vortex Beater, Unreal S.D.M.G, Mythical Razorblade Typhoon, Mythical Lunar Flare, Mythical Ice Rod, Ruthless Stardust Dragon Staff, Ruthless Rainbow Crystal Staff.

My ammo: 3 stacks of Chlorophyte Bullets, 2 stacks of Luminite Arrows, an Endless Musket Pouch in case I run out of Chlorophyte Bullets, and an Endless Quiver in case I run out of Luminite Arrows.

A stack of each of these potions: Wormhole, Lifeforce, Rage, Wrath, Ironskin, Swiftness, Regeneration, and Endurance.

I have a stack of Cooked Fish. Two stacks of Super Healing Potions and two stacks of Greater Mana Potions.

I have a Cell Phone, a Money Trough, a The Grand Design, and a Rod of Discord.

I have a stack of Wood, Gel, and Cursed Torches.

All my armor and accessories dye slots have Reflective Metal Dye with only two dye slots having Shadow Dye over them.

I have full Solar Flare armor.

My accessories: Charm of Myths, Frostspark Boots, Ankh Shield, Solar Wings, Master Ninja Gear, Celestial Chell.

My vanity accessories: Shiny Stone, Greedy Ring, Gravity Glode and Mysterious Cape

My Mysterious Cape and Solar Wings have Shadow Dye over them.

All my accessories have the Menacing modifier.

All my accessories are also invisible except my Frostspark Boots.

My hook is the Static Hook with the Burning Hades dye.

My mount is the Cosmic Car Key with the Cyan Dye.

My minecart is the Mechanical Cart with the Grim Dye.

My light pet is the Suspicious Looking Tentacle with the Grim Dye

My normal pet is the Eater's Bone with the Glowing Mushroom Dye.

In case you couldn't tell from my character's name or the fact that I have a Red Phasesaber, I am a Star Wars fan.

It all happened one day when I was fighting the Moon Lord for the 1000th time.

Since I was in an Expert Mode world, the Moon Lord was no joke but I managed to beat him.

After I killed the Moon Lord, He dropped his treasure bag.

Using my Cell Phone, I had teleported to my home base.

Upon right-clicking the bag, I got none of the standard Moon Lord loot.

Instead, I got 1 new item.

It looked like the Magic Mirror except the frame of the mirror is black and the glass inside the frame was glowing multiple colors as if the glass in the mirror had Living Rainbow Dye over it.

I was confused. What is this item? Why didn't I obtain it before?

I decided to put my cursor over the mirror and this is what came up.

Suspicious Looking Mirror

Gaze in the mirror for a surprise...

I became even more confused about this. Did Re-Logic update the game? I don't remember any announcement.

Or was this item an easter egg? Maybe an easter egg that required killing the Moon Lord over and over again for it to appear?

I know Re-Logic themselves are no strangers to putting easter eggs in Terraria. Maybe this mirror is one of them?

What really put me on edge was the "Suspicious Looking" part of the item name and the tooltip.

Usually, Suspicious Looking items are boss summons. And with that tooltip, I had a strong feeling that this mirror will summon a boss.

But here is the thing, the Suspicious Looking Mirror isn't a consumable item. If it were a consumable item, then the game would have told me so.

Maybe it was a non-consumable boss summon?

It wasn't like Re-Logic to make a boss summon non-consumable.

I was confused about what to do before deciding to use the Suspicious Looking Mirror.

Besides, there is nothing else for me to do in my world but use this weird mirror.

So I went to my boss arena.

I checked my inventory to see if I had my potions. I did.

I took a deep breath because I had a feeling I was gonna be in some deep shit.

I left-click with the Suspicious Looking Mirror.

Instead of a boss being summoned, I was teleported.

My screen went black and then turned back on again.

What I saw was not what I had excepted.

I was in an entirely new biome!

This new biome that I spawned in was a barren wasteland, with rocky terrain and enormous purple crystals sprouting from the ground. The sky is dark red.

Another feature I took note of the pools of this vicious, tar-like substance in this new biome.

I was pleasantly surprised.

But before I could explore this biome, another surprise came.

Coming out of the pools of the tar-life substance was a new enemy. One that I haven't seen before.

The enemy that spawn was this werewolf-like enemy. This enemy had a bone-like mask with red markings, as well as the bone-like spikes protruding from their arms, back, and knees. Their hands and feet are also tipped with long, sharp, white claws. They had an angular head and more prominent ears. Their red glowing eyes also leave a visible trail of red light as they move and are mostly yellow in color. Black smoke also seems to emanate from their bodies.

I hovered my cursor over this enemy. To my surprise, my cursor showed more than the enemy's name and health! Here's what it showed.

[Beowolf]

Health: 100/100

Damage: 30

Defense: 0

Wow, that enemy is pretty weak.

The Beowolf than look at my character and then growls. It looked ready to pounce on Darth Messoris Vantablack.

Before I could pull out my weapon, A pop-up window appeared in front of my screen and this is what it said.

Hello, we have noticed you have a microphone connected to your computer!

Use the microphone to communicate with NPCs?

Yes or No?

At the time, I didn't understand what the window exactly meant by "communicate with NPCs", but I couldn't resist clicking on Yes.

After I clicked on yes, a new window popped up. Here's what it said.

To communicate, press R! NPCs will react to what you say, so be careful!

The window then disappeared after 7 seconds.

I press R. As soon as I did that, a Speaker Icon appeared above Darth Messoris Vantablack's head.

Before I spoke, an idea appeared in my head.

I paused Terraria and minimized the game window.

On my desktop, I clicked on my real-time voice changer application called VoiceMod.

I then turned on the Dark voice to make my voice sound like Darth Vader's voice.

I then opened back up Terraria.

I pressed R.

"What are you?" Messoris said to the Beowolf.

The Beowolf did nothing but growled some more and tensed up, looking ready to strike.

I then decided to taunt the Beowolf.

"Answer me at once, cockroach," Messoris said to the Beowolf in a monotone yet condescending tone.

That creature could not contain itself anymore and charge in my direction, with the intention of killing me with his claws.

I mouse scrolled to Messoris' Legendary Red Phasesaber

To my surprise, the game actually shows Messoris pulling out his Legendary Red Phasesaber.

[Legendary Red Phasesaber]

73 melee damage

28% critical strike chance

Fast Speed

Weak Knockback

Messoris' Red Phasesaber cut the Beowolf down the middle. Splitting the Beowolf into two, killing it.

As soon as I did that, more Beowolves began appearing from tar-like pools. About 30 of them spawned.

"Fuck it, shit happens," I said in an uncaring tone.

I mouse scrolled to Messoris' Unreal Vortex Beater and used his Chlorophyte Bullets

[Unreal Vortex Beater]

76 ranged damage

11% critical strike chance

Very fast speed

Very weak knockback

66% chance not to consume ammo

'The catastrophic mixture of pew pew and boom boom.'

[Chlorophyte Bullet]

6% critical strike chance

Average knockback

Ammo

Chases after your enemy

The Beowolves all charged at Messoris, coming from all directions.

Messoris fired his gun at the Beowolves that seemed to be closer to him. He fired in all directions.

The Chlorophyte Bullets, as expected, did all the work and completely annihilated all the Beowolves.

"Nothing challenging has happened yet," I said.

I spoke too soon.

A line of blood-red text appeared at the bottom-left corner of my screen.

You feel a wicked witch observing you...

What? Wicked witch? The only witch I know was Tairona the Witch Doctor and he was not at all wicked. He may have been a Lihzahrd, but he was non-hostile.

Before I could think about what that line meant. Another surprise came.

Two more lines of purple text then appeared at the bottom-left corner of my screen.

A miniboss is approaching!

A Nevermore has awoken!

Then, A giant scorpion-like monster emerged from behind one of the enormous purple crystals sprouting from the ground. It had a jet-black exoskeleton underneath several large, white, bonelike plates upon its back, which is adorned with red markings. One of the more prominent attributes of this monster is the glowing golden stinger on its tail that it uses as a lure. It also has a pair of large pincers that it uses to defend itself and grab or cut into its prey. The Death Stalker's ten red eyes and markings can also glow in the dark

I put my cursor over this scorpion-like enemy.

[Death Stalker]

Health: 9,000/9,000

Damage: 100

Defense: 40

The Death Stalker looked towards Messoris with its ten eyes and growled. Before I could take out my weapon of choice, presumably the Nevermore appeared.

The Nevermore is an avian that has features resembling those of several other bird species. Two notable examples of this are its resemblances to condors and ravens. Like other Grimm, it has a mask-like, white bony structure overlying the upper front of its head. It also has four glowing red eyes, two on each side of its head. The headpiece also includes a dorsal spine or fin, reminiscent of that on the heads of condors and some prehistoric pterosaurs. Interestingly, the Nevermore is seen to have two clawed "fingers" extending forwards from the outermost wing joint.

I put my cursor over what I assume to be the Nevermore.

[Nevermore]

Health: 30,000/30,000

Damage: 120

Defense: 30

As soon as the Nevermore appeared, Music began to play in the background. Music I have not heard before.

Play: Bowser Battle from Paper Mario: The Thousand-Year Door

I like this music.

The Death Stalker lunged its stinger towards Messoris.

Messoris dashed backward to avoid the attack.

The Nevermore let out a caw above Messoris, flapping its black wings and releasing lines of sharpened black feathers with points towards Messoris' position.

I mouse scrolled to Messoris' Legendary Star Wrath.

[Legendary Star Wrath]

196 melee damage

28% critical strike chance

Very fast speed

Very strong knockback

I put my cursor above me and Messoris began swinging his sword causing pink star-like projectiles to start falling from the sky.

To my delight, the pink projectiles from Messoris' sword deflected all the Nevermore's black feathers.

The Death Stalker then charged forward towards Messoris.

The Death Stalker tried to swipe Messoris away with its Pincers but failed because Messoris dashed backward again.

"Alright, enough messing around," I said.

I put my cursor over the Death Stalker.

Messoris swings his Star Wrath, the pink projectiles from my sword quickly abolished the Death Stalker's life due to the pink projectiles from the Star Wrath dealing double the damage.

I then turned my attention to the Nevermore.

I mouse scrolled to Messoris' Unreal S.D.M.G.

[Unreal S.D.M.G.]

119 ranged damage

21% critical strike chance

Insanely fast speed

Very weak knockback

50% chance not to consume ammo

'It came from the edge of space'

Nevermore was flying all around Messoris.

Messoris began firing his S.D.M.G toward the Nevermore.

The Chlorophyte Bullets damaged the Nevermore. The Nevermore took damage but wasn't affect by the knockback. Probably because it's a boss.

The Nevermore once again released lines of sharpened black feathers with points towards Messoris' position.

Messoris did what he did before and used his Star Wrath's projectiles to deflect the Nevermore's black feathers.

This was basically the fight in a nutshell.

The Nevermore flies around for a bit.

Messoris attacks with his S.D.M.G and Chlorophyte Bullets.

The Nevermore retaliates by shooting black feathers at Messoris

Messoris counterattacks with his Star Wrath projectiles.

And so forth.

Nothing I haven't seen before.

I put my cursor over the Nevermore.

[Nevermore]

Health: 223/30,000

Damage: 120

Defense: 30

Just as I did that, the Nevermore did something new!

Nevermore than charged directly towards me in what I can only assume is a desperation attack.

I mouse scrolled to Messoris' Godly Terrarian.

[Godly Terrarian]

340 melee damage

38% critical strike chance

Fast speed

Very strong knockback

I put my cursor in the direction the Nevermore is facing.

Messoris then pulled out his Terrarian.

The Nevermore flew straight into Messoris' yoyo, causing it to die.

Stop Playing: Bowser Battle from Paper Mario: The Thousand-Year Door

The music started to fade out and then completely disappeared.

I then looked around me and saw the corpses of the Beowolves, Death Stalker, and Nevermore.

To my surprise, the corpses disappeared into black smoke.

After the corpses disappeared they left behind several items. Most of the items they left behind looked like plastic cards with a black magnetic reader strip on the back and a small notation on the front. Several different colors of the plastic cards are seen, such as turquoise, pink, yellow.

Another one of the items they left behind looked like Souls of Night except being black in color as opposed to purple.

I picked up all the items and this is what I got.

Turquoise Lien Card (92)

Pink Lien Card (53)

Yellow Lien Card (2)

Soul of Grim (29)

The first thing that put me off was the Souls' name. Soul of Grim? Usually, Souls in Terraria rhymes with right or light.

What's with these 'Lien cards'? Are these cards in this biome the equivalent of coins in Terraria? I can only assume so.

I looked around me.

"Well," I said with a grin. "That was one hell of an introduction to a new biome."

I then heard some sounds. Human sounds.

I heard mad giggling of a man, some gruff grunts from presumably a different man and pained cries from a woman.

I then start running in the direction of the sounds.
