AN: Most of what happens for now on is what Scott wants for his story. Plus, the scene that will be in this chapter will be wanted by him. Just another reason why it is rated M.

It was a new day in Adventure Bay and by the looks of it, nothing happened. Ryder and Scott's father left to go home. This makes the only other difference is that the PAW Patrol's vehicles all in a row with hoses ready to go. Chase has made this day, wash day. All the team and their vehicles get washed. The only problem was Rocky. You would think that due to him growing up, his fear of water would go down. In fact, it has done the complete opposite. Rocky is deathly afraid of the water now and the only way to get him clean is to chain him up with all four paws on the ground like he is a prisoner.

Chase did care at first and tried to help the mix breed with his fear with Zuma but apparently it only made it worse. At this point, when Rocky stinks so bad that the dogs want him to take a bath, they all team up together and chain him up or do anything that will keep him from running away and douse him in soapy warm water because they are that cruel and they all get a laugh out of it sometimes. In the long run, he smells better and knows if he gets in the mud and tries to make himself dirty again, Chase will flood his room, or at least he says he would.

Ryder would be just getting up and it would be 9:30. Chase wakes the pups individually at 7:30. That's another thing. Chase wakes up the pups individually each morning and if they don't get up he threatens to use the megaphone to which every pup gets up immediately. All the pups, including Rocky at times, love this new Chase.

Now, Scott would be up and watching TV in the living area of the Lookout. When Ryder gets to him he asks, "Hey lad. Have a good sleep?"

"I did, did you?" Ryder responded.

"Yeah, lad. It seems your pups are already up and at'em. Say, what are they going to do today? Save a chicken like you said yesterday?" Scott chuckled.

"Actually they will force Rocky to bathe and have themselves bathe after they wash their vehicles. Well, Chase prefers showers."

"Where do they bathe?" Scott asked while changing the channel to Military Chanel.

"Well, all the pups have their own rooms downstairs. Chase, basically has a room and office. Come to think of it he would love to show you what he has. Possibly later," Ryder said as he sat on a beanbag just next to his brother.

"Ah, so they have their own private rooms," Scott said as he saw that The World's Greatest Tank Battles: Battle of 73 Easting was on.

"Well, most of them. Everest shares a room with Skye for the moment so Rocky and I can finish her room," Ryder explained.

"I see that a lot of them are older than I originally thought. Do any of them like each other?" Scott said, getting a smirk on his face.

"What do you mean?" Ryder asked confused.

"What I mean lad is, do any of them like, love each other?" Scott reiterated.

"Oh, well Chase and Everest have been becoming closer. I can only assume one of the reasons why," Ryder rolled his eyes, "But they deny it every time so I don't know if they are or not. I think Rocky and Skye have become closer as well but nothing too major."

"Just out of curiosity, what if Chase and Everest do love each other? They are the oldest and are the most mature I assume. Aren't you worried about what they could do?" Scott said in his Scottish accent with a shit-eating grin on his face.

Ryder just looked at his brother like he was stupid. Ryder knew what he was getting at and responded, "Well, um. I know what you are getting at but I don't know. As in-"

"Yep," Scott said still with a grin on his face.

"Um," Ryder just wanted it to be over, "Well, when I cleaned their rooms last. I put canine condoms in each of their bathroom cabinets."

"Apparently," Scott got himself back together, "Just hope Chase knows they exist."

"He asked me about it not too long ago," Ryder remembered, "Anyway, we should head to Mr. Porter's for some breakfast.

"Who's that?"

"He is a good friend of ours who works in a small cafe on the other side of the bridge. He makes all sorts of things from pastries and meatballs which the pups love."

"Sure let's go. Right after this show," Scott said.

"What are you watching?"

"I'm watching the Battle of 73 Easting. It was a battle in the Persian Gulf War when the US said "fuck you" to Iraq. In other words, we only had 25 casualties and lost a single Bradley fighting vehicle to enemy fire. Meanwhile, the Iraqis had 600-1000 casualties, and if not, all their tanks and armored vehicles destroyed. This battle took place before you were born and I was only young in 1991," Scott explained, "People say it was the last great tank battle in the 20th century. They're damn right about that. At least for us Americans at least."

"So, don't mess with America?" Ryder said.

"Damn right," Scott said as he turned back to the TV. Ryder then started to watch with him wanting to know how war used to be fought. He completely forgot about heading to Mr. Porter's.

Meanwhile, the pups were finishing up polishing their vehicles and vacuuming the ones that have insides. The pups can say thanks to the State of Washington for helping to fund them due to the fact that Adventure Bay funding barely allows them to have spending money. This is because the mayor spends more on her stupid chicken than on the whole town. Thank goodness elections are coming. Though they are good friends the PAW Patrol would not vote for her.

Due to the influx of money from the state, Ryder has upgraded some of the pups' vehicles while buying whole new vehicles for Marshall, Chase, Skye, and Everest. Fire and Police equipment was what Ryder spent most of the money toward.

Ryder bought a Brush Truck for Marshall to use on a run of the mill rescues like small fires and normal firefighter work like a cat stuck in a tree or basic accidents. The Brush Truck is equipped with two small ladders, a FireAxe, water hoses, water pump equipment, and some first aid. For the ultimate fire emergencies, he got a Tower Truck which has a huge ladder that can carry people and spray water from high up, and an EMS Truck to transport injured people. For emergencies like that, Everest would drive the EMS so Marshall can drive the Tower.

For Skye, Ryder bought a Buzzard-like helicopter that is equipped with a winch to hoist up any pup or person in or out of places and can carry a few people or pups if needed. She also has a spotlight and camera that has normal vision and thermal vision.

Last but not least is Chase. Ryder bought Chase what he always wanted. A decked-out Ford Raptor for full off-road capability so he can track any criminal. It has a full steel black ram-bar, red and blue lights in the inside of the windshield, under the doors, on the ram-bar itself on the sides to light up ally-ways and a light bar on the inside of the truck bed, suspended in the window, that can have blaring red, blues, and whites or Amber yellow to help direct traffic if needed. The truck was a nice royal blue color with a big bed to put anything a police dog needed all in it with more storage than any dog could ever imagine. Also on the top of the bed were two sliding hatches. One covered a radar dish that was folded inside and the other hatch had a brand new drone launcher and drone. The new police truck has everything a police dog needs in the back bed of it. All inside is Chase's Spy/SWAT gear, to his Police/FBI gear, all investigation equipment, cones, police tap, and a weapon rack in the cab behind the driver. For Chase, it is a dream come true, but he has not gotten the chance to use everything.

For the rest of the pups, Ryder did what he could and upgraded Zuma's hovercraft to be faster and a new launcher for other things like another floating device, noise-makers to scare away creatures if needed, or a water net that is mostly made of titanium. It can still turn into a submarine if needed as well.

For Rocky's recycling truck nothing much changed but now he can store a bit more inside his truck like a Mary Poppins Bag.

Rubble's Rig didn't change at all due to him not wanting anything else on it so Ryder left it alone. The same can go with Everest's Snow Kat, she didn't want any changes due to her driving the EMS truck or with Chase in his Raptor.

Anyway, the pups were almost done and Chase is already planning on how to capture Rocky this time. Last time they simply backed him into a corner on the outside of the Lookout and Marshall sprayed him with soapy water until he smelled like roses. Only then did they rinse him off and dry him. Chase, very well knew that Rocky was a smart dog and he will have to be caught some other way before he runs off. Chase was done with his truck and Rocky was polishing it. Chase went over to Skye, Zuma, and Everest to see if they had any ideas.

"Do you guys have any ideas on how to catch Rocky so we can wash him?" Chase asked them

"Hmm, do you have a bolo you could use on his feet?" Skye asked.

"Yes, but how would we wash the side he falls on? And plus the bolo is designed to injure. I don't want to hurt Rocky," Chase answered.

"We could use my new watew net. Wyder said that it is heavy enough to captuwe a dolphin on the ocean floor. It's like your wire net Chase but watew-pwoof," Zuma suggested.

"That might not be a bad idea. Marshall, come over here," Chase ordered.

"Coming," Marshall said, being careful not to slip or trip on anything, "What's up? Got a plan to get Rocky?"

"Yep. Zuma is going to use his water net to pin him while also keeping him upright. You will spray him with the soap water and once done, rinse him. We will then lift the net and cover him with towels to dry him. After that we can all go clean up as well," Chase explained.

"Sounds like a plan," Rubble said as he walked over.

"Alright. Zuma, catch him as soon as he is in the grass," Chase stated. Zuma nodded.

After a while, Rocky finished polishing Chase's vehicle and was about to go inside but then, "Ruff, Ruff. Watew Net!" Zuma shouted and before Rocky knew it he was under a heavy net and couldn't get free.

"Rocky, you smell like you were just in a garbage dump. You need this bath, otherwise, something else could happen," Everest stated, "Marshall, your turn."

"Alright. Time for a rinse," Marshall stated as he stopped with the soap water.

"Not yet. We need to rinse you," Marshall stated. Chase unhooked the hose to the soap water and hooked it back to normal water. Once done Marshal began again.

After a minute or so. Marshall stopped and the rest of the dogs removed the water net and covered Rocky in towels. They all laughed again, "Well now that our vehicles are clean, polished, and have had their monthly maintenance. I think we all deserve baths and a shower for me," Chase said as he was walking to the front door of the Lookout.

"It's only 10:34 and we have had no missions so far," Everest stated.

"Let's hope it stays that way," Rubble said, "Plus Scott said he will let me play with him on his PS4."

"What game?" asked Zuma.

"He said something called Ark Survival Evolved," Rubble remarked, "It's some dino survival game."

"Cool. So like Minecraft but not blocky and has dinosaurs," Marshall guessed.

"Yeah. I think so. You can join us if you want," Rubble suggested.

"Might as well, but after a bath," Marshall reiterated.

"Alright," said Rubble as he raced to the elevator where the other dogs were waiting.

Marshall slowly walked in and went down to all their rooms. Chase, on the other hand, was still upstairs talking with Ryder and Scott.

"Ryder, we will be cleaning up our selves downstairs if you need us," Chase informed Ryder.

"Alright, Chase," Ryder assured his dog.
