Ok, so I have revived... I don't really have a way to explain it other than: it happened. Now this is both good and nerve wreaking. I really do hope you peeps like it, even if I have been dormant for years. And I plan on returning to my previously on hiatus fic, but for now, enjoy the ride!

He had been running for maybe 15 minutes now, trying his best to keep away from the one kid that he didn't want to see any time soon. He pumped his legs as hard and fast as he could, yet the voice of one Bakugou Katsuki kept ringing closer to him, so he was failing at running away; or he was using his explosion quirk to catch up to him. Despite his best efforts at trying to be nice and friendly to his childhood friend…no, friends didn't try and harm one another like this. Despite trying to be nice to him he kept failing and receiving the bullying for not having manifested his quirk like the rest of the kids their age. "Get back here Deku! I'm going to make you regret talking back to me!" The almost feral screams of the young Bakugou reverbed in his head, surprisingly loud for how far he was.

He was slightly above average at PE class, and it showed as it had taken some time for Bakugou to actually catch up, but the blond was almost a prodigy, and in a matter of moments he was tackled to the ground by a seething Bakugou. "You ran out of time stupid Deku!" He had yet to blast his victim with his quirk, deciding that a more traditional beat down would be best. Reeling his arm back, Bakugou punched him, hit after hit trying to empty the anger he had for the green haired punk. Izuku could feel each hit, the punches aimed at him striking his arms and chest, causing bruises at each spot he was hit. "You're just a quirkless Deku! You should not talk back to me and do as I say!" In the red eyes of his bully he could see the anger, yet he always questioned why the anger was directed at him when he had done nothing wrong to deserve it. He resisted for some time, feeling the welts from the hits start to hurt more, then the weight that pinned him down was lifted off from him. Izuku knew that no matter how many times he told the teachers they wouldn't do anything about this, and yet in the moment he needed it the most, some stranger had pulled his tormentor from him and stared him down.

"Let me go, you Sasuke wannabe!" The older kid had grabbed the angry kid by the neck of his shirt, lifting him off the battered green haired boy and raised him to his eye level. To the raven haired teen, he looked like a angry cat that you caught by the neck, trying to claw at you in rage. "…What the hell are you doing? The kid there is not even trying to fight back…why are you hurting him?" Looking down the hurt kid, he could feel his heart twist at the sight. Had he not found Mirio and Nejire back when he did, he would have probably been bullied just like the smaller kid was being bullied by the blond. "What the fuck does it matter to you shithead?! Put me down before I blast you!" The blond was threatening with the explosions that he could produce, and the freckled kid on the floor was shaking, yet he surprised the teen and was even trying to help him.

"Kacchan! You know you can't use your quirk in public! You'll get a reprimand!" The words from the green haired boy were a sound argument, and any would think it twice after it but it just fueled the blond into further rage. "Shut the fuck up Deku! When I get away from this asshole I'll blast your face for disrespecting me!" The teen looked at the two boys in deep thought, surprised that the blond would simply ignore him in a attempt to actually fight the kid. Every fiber of his being was telling him to help out, yet he could feel the dread forming at the pit of his stomach; his anxiety was flaring up from having to deal with the loud mouthed blond. From all he could gather, the blond had a routine of messing up the other kid, and it had gone for some time with how the green eyed one was not even resisting at this point.

The more he interacted with him, the more the teen wanted to shut the blond up; the way he was just being an ass really bothered him. The thought that came to his mind would certainly be frowned upon by many people and even the law, but he was going to do it anyways; he could feel it would be good. Maybe he would stop bullying the green eyed kid for a while? Chuckling to himself, he activated his quirk. He noted the reaction of the blond almost immediately, the slow turning of his head to meet him morphed his anger and he couldn't help but grin at him. "I don't care who you are, but I don't want you near this kid again, got it?"

/*/*/*/*/*/*/*/*/*/*/*/*/*/*/*/*/*/*/*/*/*/*/*/*/ Some time before

Bakugou Katsuki was not one to have patience, specially with one quirkless Deku. He had shoved yesterday's homework to the resident nerd, wanting to have him make his homework. With his homework taken care of he could easily go hang out with his friends and play in the arcade all day. When the next day came, he went over to fetch his homework, yet when he had asked for the answers, Deku had the gall to actually just say he didn't do it! 'That stupid Deku! Doesn't he know that if I miss my homework my perfect track record will be ruined?! That I will have a lower chance to be accepted at UA?!' Slamming his palm onto the desk, his quirk flared up, charring the wood under his hand followed by a puff of smoke and sparks flying off the desk. "I told you I needed the homework done for today! What is this that you won't do my homework!?"

He just couldn't believe it. After years of being the useless Deku that did whatever he told him to do, he was now suddenly growing a spine and doing what he wanted?! He had been the only one to approach him and talk to him; he had made sure of that, but the useless Deku was still ungrateful of having someone that knew him to talk to? And what was more, he was harming his chances of getting into UA by making him loose points for missing his homework! "Well…they give us homework so we learn…and if you don't do it you won't learn…so I won't be doing your homework anymore." Izuku was stuttering through his words, nervous and knowing full well what he was doing. The green eyes had been looking at everywhere but the red eyes of Katsuki, fully aware the red eyes of his childhood friend would be narrow and looking quite menacing. This did not sit well with Bakugou, not at all! If he missed his homework, the school would call his parents, and he would get scolded at home; he might even get a cut on his allowance as a punishment!

"You piece of shitty Deku! You know what happens when you fuck up my grades!" The blond exclaimed, watching a little surprised as the quirkless form of Midoriya had darted out of the classroom knowing what would happen when Bakugou finally had his outburst. Red eyes looked far more sinister than before, some dark thoughts darting through his mind. Explosions surrounded his hands as he had clenched his fists and pushed desks out of his way while chasing after the green eyed boy, blasts propelling him further and faster as he gave chase. "Get back here Deku! I'm going to make you regret talking back to me!"

The chase was quite longer than the blond had anticipated, having to chase Izuku through some halls and around other people that held him back from catching him faster than he wanted. When he finally caught up to the boy and he tackled him to the floor, a grin spread through his lips as he looked down at the freckled kid. "You ran out of time stupid Deku!" Reeling is fist back, he had started hitting the green haired kid, unloading all his pent up anger, yet he had not finished when he was lifted off his target and held up. The kid holding him had his hair pulled back, yet he could see the spiky nature of it, and it reminded him of the moody character from one of his favorite anime. "Let me go, you Sasuke wannabe!" When he spoke up the teen glared at him, and he felt the hair on the back of his neck stand up. It was like if he was facing a wild animal, one that was far stronger than him, but he knew he had a great quirk, and he could kick his ass with his Explosios. When he asked why he was hurting Deku, he looked mad, and it irritated him that this wannabe was looking down at him and judging him poorly. How he wanted to punch and beat this kid up, yet he was kicking and screaming at the air in vain as he couldn't make the older kid budge from his grip.

"What the fuck does it matter to you shithead?! Put me down before I blast your face off!" He had been making blasts in his hands, yet the Sasuke wannabe was not backing down from him. Instead of looking scared, he looked unamused, and a little bored. This asshole was looking down at him. He thought that he couldn't really hurt him? That irritated Bakugou further and he started sparking his hands more to make a bigger blast when a shout cut his concentration short. "Kacchan! You know you can't use your quirk in public! You'll get a reprimand!" The words caused him to grow a tick mark on his forehead. First, he tells him he won't do his homework and now he was telling him what to do?! A quiet voice inside his mind was telling him that he was looking out for him, yet he was blinded and pushed the voice down, glowering at Deku.

"Shut the fuck up Deku! When I get away from this asshole I'll blast your face for talking back to me!" In his frazzled mind, he had lost interest in the one holding him for a moment, his red eyes piercingly staring at the green haired boy behind him. At that moment he felt a chill run down his spine, something in his mind was telling him he was in danger and he should run away from the teen holding him up. Deciding to play it off as some strange thought, he turned slowly to face the Sasuke wannabe. The hoodie kept a permanent shadow on his face, the light from the surroundings only lighting the lower part of his face. In the instant he turned to shout at Deku he had felt some form of threat, and now he could tell why. Rows after rows of teeth were staring at him; the mouth of the older one open and showing the many rows of teeth glinting in the light that did shine on them. The eyes of the wannabe were thin and glowing under the shadow of the hood, and he felt his throat dry from the sight of the razors all pointed at him.

"I don't care who you are, but I don't want you near this kid again, got it?" No amount of swallowing would make the feeling go away, and with the intensity of the glare, he could not deny he felt a little scared. If this kid really wanted, he could bite his face off! Finally wriggling free of the grip, he turned to Deku, wanting to just kick him while he could, but he knew he would fail so he darted off. "I'll get you next time Deku! Wannabe can't protect you forever!" His shouting echoed in the park, leaving the two alone when he vanished out of sight. From the ground not too far from him, the green haired boy looked at his savior and his lips curled upwards, showing him a dazzling smile. "Thanks for helping out! And really sorry you had to deal with Kacchan…he wasn't like that before…"

The green haired boy looked down at his arms, watching as the bruises had already started to form from the strikes he received. The dark haired boy looked on at the kid and was astonished. He was so optimistic even after suffering, and from what he knew, this was probably a constant thing from how he was taking it all. "My name's Tamaki, Amajiki Tamaki. What's your name?" Talking was going rather easy for Tamaki at this moment, and he couldn't point as to what was making it like so. At hearing his savior's name, the green haired boy smiled widely and bowed. "Midoriya Izuku. Thanks for saving me, you're my hero!"

Little Izuku's smile was quite blinding to the shy and reserved Tamaki, and one thought came to his mind as he felt the blood go to his cheeks and paint them slightly red. 'His smile feels so much like Mirio's…' Looking away slightly, Tamaki nodded and pulled the hood down to cover his face from embarrassment. He always got like this when he was around Mirio and he did something similar. In fact, this kid and his optimism was so much like Mirio that it made Tamaki ask himself if they were related in some way. "…I'm glad I could do something to help."

Izuku got up from the floor, cleaning himself up as best he could, and walked just a little closer to him. "…How did you turn your face into a shark? Was it your quirk? Is your quirk turning into a shark?" Now just a few feet from Tamaki, Izuku had gotten the courage to ask about his quirk, pulling out a notebook and scribbling on one of the pages. Tamaki couldn't see what he was doing, but he looked rather focused on what he did. "It's a part of my quirk, bu its not a shark one." 'Why is he so curious? Now he reminds me of Nejire…' The onslaught of questions from the freckled greenette were almost constant, and even if he did his best to keep track, he was having trouble remembering all.

"My quirk is Manifest…I can make my body take the form of things I eat…" Now his anxiety was coming back! Nejire always managed to get him nervous, and he thought it was just because she was a girl, but now he understood that it was that he didn't really like being the center of attention. Both had taken a seat on a bench not too far from where they had met, and passed quite some time talking about his quirk. Tamaki came to know a few things about the kid he saved too. He was quirkless, and the boy who he had scared off was his long known neighbor Bakugou, who after getting his quirk got a inflated self-esteem and bullied him. He loved talking about quirks, and had a few notebooks about them, analyzing them and what he had been doing was writing what he could about his own quirk Manifest.

"You know Izuku, you remind me a lot of my friends." His mind was wandering, memories of the three hanging around and having fun, even if he felt like he was being dragged around by Nejire and Mirio, he still had fun. He could see traits of both his friends in the smaller boy; and in his mind that was one of the biggest reasons he had not suffered from much anxiety while talking to him. "Mirio is like a ray of sunshine. Always struggling to better himself. He's always positive and helping me out." Izuku looked and listened to Tamaki with almost rapt attention as he talked about his friends. "Nejire is a ball of energy. She's super curious, always asking questions and wondering about everything…"

It was not that hard to see he really cared about his two friends, a comfortable silence falling over the two. "Maybe one day you can get to meet them. I'm sure they'll get along with you." Tamaki couldn't hold back his smile, watching as the sunset was starting to show on the horizon. It was thanks to those friends that he was around now and had decided to get into the hero course when he finished middle school.

"Really? I could meet them?!" Green eyes looked at him with a shine that he found a little adorable. 'Oh god, the puppy dog eyes…' Tamaki gulped and nodded. "Of course you can. Maybe one day we can hang out all four of us." The prospect was not a bad one. He felt concerned for Izuku, having to endure the level of bullying from the little shit and a lone idea wandered into his head. "There's something that's been bothering me…Why does the Bakugou kid keep messing with you? If you're quirkless and thinks he's superior, he would surely flaunt his quirk instead of beating you up…" Midoriya looked nervous, just moving his legs while he looked at the ground. "He has always said that he will be a great hero, and I thought so at first, yet when he got his quirk he changed. He'd bully me, and no matter what I did, nor that I told the teachers they never did anything…He keeps thinking I want to humiliate him or something…"

Tamaki didn't know why that would come to Bakugou's head, but he wouldn't question any further about the subject. What was done was done, and digging up more of Izuku's past would probably make him feel bad. "That is not what I'm trying to do; but no matter if I am nice to him and do things for him, he hasn't changed how he treats me." In the older kid's mind, that Katsuki boy had crossed the line quite some time ago, and if he could do something to help Izuku, he would do it. Maybe he could spend time with him; with how he was so much like his friends, he was sure he could handle it. "…How about we hang out after school then? That way he won't get the idea to bother you, and you can relax." He'd have to sneak out from his friends if he wanted to do this, yet the look of hope and happiness on those green eyes told him he was on the right path. "I can come and spend some time before I have to go, so we can just talk or I can help you with your homework if you need it."

The smile that grew on the lips of the green eyed boy came to be the second sun he knew in his life after that point. "Sure! We could talk about quirks, or even about yours!" Izuku got up from the bench, fixing his clothes and grinning at Tamaki. "I have to go now, but I can come here and meet up!" The little kid did move something inside Tamaki, and he couldn't contain himself, nodding at the smaller one. "Sure. We can meet at the fountain over there and hang out. I might not be able to stay much, but we can do it as much as you can."

This brought a smile to the little one's face, and he started leaving, waving at his new friend. "Sure! See you tomorrow Amajiki-san!" Tamaki watched as he left, a smile plastered on his face. The events of the day kept repeating themselves in his mind, and he couldn't help but wonder why had he not gotten anxiety when saving him. He found himself pondering about it while still on the bench; his silence interrupted by his friends.

"Tamaki! There you are!" At the distance, a blond teen was waving at him, bringing him out of his thoughts. "Mirio…" His best friends had been looking for him; how long had he been away from them? How much time did he spend with Izuku? From behind him popped out a mop of periwinkle, the ball of energy waving at him and almost bouncing around the bench as Mirio had taken a seat next to Tamaki. "Amajiki! You missed out on the heroes that were across the park! There was this fat one that was into eating, maybe his quirk has to do with food? Doesn't that sound like yours Amajiki? Maybe he could be a hero that could help you with your own quirk? What were you doing here all alone?"

The girl was bouncing on her feet, sometimes floating before settling down and shaking the shy one of the three. "Nejire, careful with Tamaki. You know he's not that good around people." The large hand of Mirio had pulled her from Tamaki, just enough to let her move about and keep flitting around the two. "Oh, I know that Togata! Still we're his friends, right? He should be less anxious around us, right? He should be! We've been friends for all of middle school!" Mirio looked at her and laughed, pumping his fist up in the air. "That may be Nejire, but he still gets anxious." Tamaki couldn't look at him, mainly because if he did both would see his red face from what Mirio did.

Mirio was honestly the embodiment of a hero: always looking out for his friends or anyone in need. He also had the energy to not only deal with Nejire but also be on par with her most of the time, so Nejire had found it rather easy making friends with the blond. Amajiki was different for her. He was rather mellow and low energy compared to her, yet he always had good insight on what was happening around them. She met him when she made friends with Mirio, and at first it was hard for her to understand the boy, but with time she came to appreciate him too.

"Anyways Amajiki, what were you doing here? You were out for quite a while. Were you lost? Did you find something cool?" She had taken a seat next to him, looking at the people and animals around them while smiling brightly at the two of them. A small smile crept onto Tamaki's face, still focused on the sky in front of them. "I wasn't doing much, I just helped someone…" Both her and Mirio looked at him and were smiling ear to ear. "Oh! That's awesome! You are already going down the path of being a hero~!" The bubbly girl was rather happy, playing with a strand of her hair that was close to her hand. "That's impressive Tamaki! Now with that we can all work together to become the best heroes!" Both of his friends were rather pumped and happy for him, and he couldn't blame them. He himself felt the same way even if he didn't show it. He didn't tell them about Izuku, keeping it for himself at the moment. 'He really is like these two…it seems I have gained something new….for the better.'
