The dull thud of footsteps echoed down Beacon's carpeted hallway as Weiss Schnee returned to her room.

A healthy mind and a healthy body went in tandem, and following her studies for the day, the heiress had decided to take a refreshing and invigorating swim in Beacon's large swimming pool. Swimming laps for the better part of an hour, she was exhausted, though the feeling of exhaustion felt so good knowing that you've accomplished something of worth. Her arms and legs were like jelly, and she relished the thought of collapsing into bed after a hot shower.

Still clad in her blue one piece suit, and with an oversized t-shirt covering most of her body, she'd opted not to take a shower in the school's locker room, choosing instead the one in her team's room. Weiss valued privacy and familiarity over convenience, and despite the fact that the campus was private, she knew that she could never be too careful. A life of fame and fortune had taught her that enemies could lurk in every shadow, and that someone out there would always be desperate enough to try and get dirt on a public figure such as her.

Opening the door to her room, it was no surprise to find her more lethargic teammates all inside, not doing their best to further strengthen their minds or bodies. What was surprising, however was to find all three of them huddled up together on Blake's bed. More specifically, staring at a scroll that Yang held between the other two girls.

As soon as she'd stepped foot inside, all three girls looked like they'd just been caught with their hands in the proverbial cookie jar. Ruby stood from the bed immediately and took a step toward her. "Hey, Weiss!" she greeted warmly. "What's up?"

Releasing her long, wet hair from the temporary ponytail she'd tied it in, Weiss let her snow-white locks loose in preparation for her shower. "I just finished my laps," she explained, despite needing no explanation. Ruby knew where she'd been. "What are you three doing?"

She saw how Yang and Blake shared a look. Ruby's silver eyes dropped to the floor guiltily before snapping back up. Weiss' own icy-blue orbs narrowed suspiciously at this strange behavior.

"Oh, uh, nothing," her partner smiled. "Nothing important."

"Oh really?" Weiss asked as her hands drifted up to her hips. "Because it looks like you were all very interested in whatever was on that scroll. Don't tell me you were watching something dirty."

The scrunched up face Ruby made gave away that it wasn't. That was a relief. At least they weren't lowering themselves to that sort of smut. Weiss was thankful she lived with three girls rather than any number of boys. The idea of someone playing with themselves underneath the covers at night, or walking in on them in the bathroom was too horrifying for her to even consider.

With that in mind, she stripped the shirt from her body without a second thought. "Well?" she asked, only half-interested as she prepared for her own shower.

"It was just something we found online," Yang said this time. "Nothing you'd find too interesting."

So it wasn't important. And it wasn't interesting. Yet their excitement over it seemed to say otherwise. Weiss was nobody's fool. She knew when someone was trying to dissuade her from something, and it was all over the faces and the words of the two sisters. Only Blake was able to keep a neutral expression throughout it all.

Before she could step into the bathroom, Weiss turned and walked back over to the beds. "Is that so? Well let's say I am interested. What would you say then?"

Yang and Blake shared another look. Ruby sucked in a breath. This was really beginning to annoy Weiss. Just what was so special about what was on that stupid scroll that had them so worked up? Or at the very least, so eager to keep her from finding out about it?

"Is it about the Schnee Dust Company?" she wondered as she moved closer to the bed. "My father? Bad publicity for my company or family?"

"No, no, it's nothing like that," Ruby insisted.

"Well then what? What's so special about what you're looking at?"

Weiss sat down in the spot Ruby had previously occupied, and she leaned over to where Yang still sat to try and read what was on her scroll. To her surprise, the blonde pulled away.

"Weiss…" she said hesitantly.

"What! I don't like secrets, and right now this is really beginning to annoy me. Out with it already!"

"It's a list," Blake said calmly.

"A list?"

The faunus girl nodded. "A list we found on an online forum. One where… Beacon students, presumably mostly male, rank the female students in the school from most to least attractive."

Weiss blinked. What an utterly juvenile and immature thing to do, but that wasn't surprising coming from teenage boys. Objectively speaking, Weiss knew that most of her peers were attractive young women. It was only natural for a bunch of boys in the throes of puberty to gawk and leer at them. So long as that was all they did, and no one ever tried anything more, Weiss would be able to live with that. In a way it was amusingly cruel that she knew that they could look but never touch.

She scoffed disgustedly at the explanation. "Really, we live with a bunch of degenerate pigs," she spat. Standing up from the bed she took a step back toward the shower. "However just for curiosity's sake, who was ranked first?"

"Yang was!" Ruby said excitedly. "Someone said that she's hotter than the sun in the middle of July!"

Weiss hummed a rather humorless laugh. "I suppose I can see the appeal," she mused as she turned back around and looked Yang up head to toe. Tall, tanned, well-endowed, Yang was the textbook definition of a blonde bombshell. She was, begrudgingly, a 9.5/10.

Minus 0.5 for those awful puns she liked to make on occasion.

"I take it I was second then," Weiss commented as she made her way to the shower.

"Actually," Yang said, stopping her in her tracks. "That was Blake."

Blake? she thought, spinning around once more to regard the dark-haired girl. True, she possessed a certain dark aloofness about her that was alluring, and her face was rather attractive, but if Weiss was being honest with herself, not more attractive than her own…

"Third place to my own teammates," she grumbled. "How humiliating…"

"Actually…" Blake spoke up this time.

Weiss' eyes went wide.

She stomped back over to the bed where she forcefully sat down next to Yang again, and this time forced the girl's arm over to her so that she could look at the scroll as well.

"Who!" Weiss snapped. "Who else is ahead of me?"

She couldn't believe her eyes as she scrolled down the rankings. After Blake was that Haven exchange student Cinder. Pyrrha. Coco. Emerald. Dew. The list went on and on. Even Ren was on that list somehow! Weiss couldn't find her name anywhere. This must have been some kind of mistake. They must have forgotten her! No, impossible. They must have left her off the list because they knew that with her on it then it would be an unfair competition! At least, that was what she'd hoped until she reached the very bottom of the list. That's where she saw it.

Weiss Schnee. Ranked bottom.

Even below Ren.

Her body had deflated. Her eyes were wide. Her heart… her heart hurt.

She was last? The least attractive girl in Beacon? How? Why?

"Weiss…" Ruby offered consolingly.

"I don't… I don't understand…" she managed to get out.

"You shouldn't listen to what they're saying," Yang said as she wrapped an arm around the heiress' shoulders. "Like you said, a bunch of degenerate pigs. You shouldn't care what they say about you."

Say. Say. That's right. Someone had somehow said that Yang was hotter than the sun. Did that mean… that they were saying other things?

"I want to see," Weiss said coldly. Yang didn't try to keep the scroll from her. Weiss navigated to the comments section on the forum thread, where she got her first chance to see just what her fellow students were saying about the girls in question.

I want to suffocate in Yang's tits.

The Bellabooty is real.

I wish Cinder would step on me. Gods that would be so hot.

Guys don't lewd the Rube. She's too innocent to talk about like this.

I'd give May a headshot if you know what I mean.

Why isn't Miss Goodwitch on this list?

I'd add some milk to Pyrrha's cereal.

Man Reese is hot, I'll give her something to ride on.

Weiss' face scrunched up in disgust as she read the repulsive comments. Did these people have zero shame? They were talking about their classmates! Just how many of her peers had perverted sexual fantasies about herself and her friends?

Then again… no one was really making comments about her. She didn't know whether to be happy or sad about that.

Nora's a total shortstack. I guess you really are what you eat.

I wanna make Nebula see stars.

Arslan, more like Arselan. Damn I'd love to clap those cheeks.

Emerald always looks so pissed. I'd let her choke me.

As she continued to go down the list and neared the bottom, she finally found something. She finally found her name.

And not in the way she would have liked it.

Think if I shove my dick in Weiss' mouth she'd finally shut up?

How can someone so flat be such a bitch? At least have the goods if you're gonna act like that.

She bit down on her lip at reading the comment. How vulgar. How crude. How utterly insulting. How…

Hurtful.

She didn't talk that much, did she? Her personality wasn't that bad, was it? Not enough to cause somebody to… to…

Another comment, directly replying to that one, gave her heart a small flutter of hope.

Hey, Weiss is beautiful and she has the voice of an angel. You shouldn't talk about her like that.

At least there was someone. At least… someone appeared to have voted in her favor. Even if in the end it didn't save her from being ranked last.

Ruby had forced her way onto the bed next to her, and Weiss was sandwiched between her and her older sister. Ruby's arm came to wrap around her as well.

"Weiss, it's just a bunch of stupid words," she said softly. "A bunch of dumb boys."

"And some girls too, probably," Yang shrugged.

"Either way, you shouldn't listen. You're really pretty. Way prettier than a lot of the girls on that list."

Despite the comforting words, and despite the fact that she felt that Ruby was right, it didn't make the list hurt any less. To be judged least attractive by her peers, and to see someone want to shut her up by… by…

"I need a shower," she said, standing up and walking to the bathroom in silence.

She shut the door behind her as a pair of tears formed in her eyes.

The clicking of heels sounded on pavement. For Weiss it was an all too familiar sound.

The feeling of the warm summer air on her stomach, however, was not.

Weiss strode toward the cafeteria with a sense of purpose. Sleep had not come easy the previous night all thanks to that stupid list. Who were those morons to rate her the least attractive girl in the school? Had they even had the nerve to gaze upon her beautiful form before? Perhaps they were simply intimidated. Or maybe her attire hid her best assets. She may not have possessed Yang's top-heaviness, but she still had all the tools to drive men wild.

It was time to turn some heads. They could look, but they couldn't touch.

She pushed open the doors to the eating hall to find it packed with students. A few people turned their heads at the sound of a newcomer, but other than that paid her no abnormal amount of attention. Not the best start for Weiss, however she also knew that people would want to hide their perverted tendencies out in public.

Scanning the room, she quickly found her teammates at their usual table. Team JNPR sat at the one next to them, while other familiar faces dotted the cafeteria. It was time to strut her stuff. What's on the menu? Legs.

Above her white high heeled shoes stretched smooth, silky legs which were paradoxically long for someone as short as her. They ended at a white skirt which only extended down to the middle of her thigh, exposing so much skin that her father would have had a heart attack to see her in such a skimpy article clothing. It didn't stop there.

Her flat and slender stomach was on display for all to see, showing under the powder blue crop top she wore to show off her next finest asset. A slim and smooth waist which most girls would starve themselves half to death in order to have. Normally Weiss would be adverse to showing off so much skin, but she had a point to prove. Not only was she attractive, this Ice Queen was hot. No matter how juvenile it might be, she wanted to show all those degenerates just what they were missing. They could all rot for all she cared, but she would show them that she was desirable.

Weiss ran a hand through her hair and flicked it back seductively like a model might as she strutted down the catwalk. She wore it down, where it extended down to the small of her back. Weiss the huntress; Weiss the student; they weren't here today. Weiss the model on the other hand, was here to show off.

Taking a seat with her far more conservatively dressed teammates, she preened under the attention they were giving her. Maybe not the crowd she'd been looking to for reactions, but it was a start.

"Uh, Weiss?" Yang questioned as she poked at her pancakes. "What are you doing?"

The heiress glanced around, searching for eyes that might be focused on her. To her disappointment, there were none. "What are you talking about, Yang?"

"Oh come on, you can't pretend that this is normal. I've seen more clothes on characters in Blake's porn which Mistral calls graphic novels."

A look at Blake showed that her golden eyes had gone wide. This was another topic for another day. Right now, all attention was rightfully on Weiss.

"I have no idea what you're talking about," she lied. "As the saying goes, if you've got it, flaunt it."

"This is about that stupid list, isn't it? You're seriously letting a bunch of dumb comments online get to you?"

"They did not get to me," she lied again. Weiss felt her face growing heated, and it wasn't due to the embarrassment of baring so much of her flawless, porcelain skin. "Look at you, Yang. Do I comment about the undue amount of cleavage that your outfit exposes?"

Yang stared down at her chest, a decent amount of her girls showing above the yellow tank top beneath her brown jacket. "No, but this is how I always dress." Lilac eyes peered back up into Weiss' own pale blue ones. "With you all it'll take is a moderate breeze to give everyone a panty shot."

Weiss snorted a harsh breath. As if that would ever happen.

Looking around again to see if anyone was gawking or whispering while looking at her, Weiss was surprised to once more find that they weren't. Maybe it was just Yang's words beginning to sink in, but she was starting to feel a bit self-conscious in this revealing outfit of hers.

"You shouldn't want them to sexualize you, Weiss," Yang said.

The heiress frowned, staring down at the table. "Easy for rank number one to say."

"Trust me, it gets irritating to know that any guy I talk to is going to be looking about a foot lower than my eyes," Yang admitted.

"Or staring my butt when they walk behind me," Blake added.

"Meanwhile I'm just innocent and adorable…" Ruby muttered.

"Which is a good thing," her sister argued. "My sweet, innocent, adorable baby sister who has never even so much as kissed a boy."

Ruby's face scrunched up angrily. "Yeah you don't have to remind me of our Signal days," she complained. "Just once would it kill someone to look at me like a woman instead of Yang's little sister? I'm dying here! I'm the leader of a kick-butt team of huntresses! If I can't be lewded who can!"

"Ruby! Do not get lewded!"

"It's not fair!"

As the sisters argued Weiss pulled out her scroll. Going back to the website which hosted the list, she scanned the rankings again to see that she hadn't moved up at all since last night. There was still only one person who had voted her the hottest girl in school. Being anonymous, she didn't know who. However, she had an idea.

Weiss stood up and spun around to gaze over the cafeteria. Sitting a couple tables down were the transfer students of Team SSSN. Having just gone to the dance together a couple weeks earlier, Weiss was confident she knew who her knight in shining armor was. The one who'd defended her honor on that anonymous forum.

Strutting over to where the Haven boys were sitting and laughing, she saw how their eyes turned to her. Sun was the first to speak. "What's up, Weiss?"

She smiled softly and nodded. "Good morning. May I borrow Neptune for a moment?"

The blue-haired boy looked around for a moment before standing. "Uh, sure."

She didn't take his hand, but Weiss led him out of the cafeteria where she could speak in a much more candid manner with the boy. It wouldn't do to discuss deep and personal issues like this in the middle of a crowded hall.

Stepping outside, she took a deep breath. "I just want to thank you, Neptune."

The look on his face was one of confusion. "Not that I don't mind being thanked, but for what?"

Weiss' arms came to wrap around herself. Was it suddenly cold? Or was this the consequence of wearing a crop top and a short skirt? "For… you know. Defending my honor."

The look on Neptune's face didn't change. "What are you talking about?"

It looked like she would have to spell it out for the boy. Not that she minded. He was a bit of a doofus and a dork at times. It was a little bit endearing. Besides, she enjoyed her boys a little dumber than she was. It added to the semblance of superiority and control she desired in such an arrangement.

"For… the list. I saw the list that students made here ranking girls in terms of attractiveness."

Neptune's eyes widened. He glanced away from her guiltily. It would seem that he felt bad about participating in such a thing, as anyone should. However since he'd spoken up in her defense, she would forgive him just this once.

"I, um…" he stammered. "I saw the list and I voted on it, but I didn't say anything."

Weiss blinked. That was… disappointing. "Oh."

"Comment sections online are pretty toxic," he explained. "I just voted to see the results."

He wasn't wrong. The comments were toxic. Filled to the brim with depraved sexual desires and lustful thoughts about all the girls in question. However if Neptune hadn't been the one to speak in her defense, who had? And if he hadn't stuck up for her…

She was hesitant to even ask her next question.

"But you voted for me, right?" she wondered hopefully. He would have had to. It had to be him. They'd danced together. Even though they weren't dating or anything, that had to count for something. Right?

Again Neptune appeared uncomfortable. His teeth clenched as he sucked in a breath. A hand came up to rub his hair nervously. "I mean, I'm not gonna lie or anything," he said. Weiss felt her heart dropping. "I actually voted Yang…"

Miss First Place herself. Though Weiss was disappointed and deflated, in her heart she could hardly be surprised. It was Yang after all. The nearest thing to perfection in the school. The object of many a boy's wildest desires.

"Oh," was all she could say.

"I'm sorry," he said earnestly.

Weiss shook her head. "No, no, it's fine," she said softly. "It's not like you and I are an item or anything. You can look at any other girls you wish."

"I mean, yeah, that's what I thought too," he agreed. "Since, like, we never did talk about anything official or anything…"

Again, he wasn't wrong. Neptune wasn't a bad guy for this. Perhaps her own expectations had just been too high. Perhaps she'd read too much into a dance with a boy who'd already rejected her once due to his own insecurities.

She forced a weak smile on her lips, one she'd practiced many times in spite of her own feelings inside. "I appreciate your honesty," she told him. "Thank you." She began walking away.

"Wait, aren't you going back?" he called after her. "Did you have breakfast?"

"I seem to have lost my appetite," she said, not bothering to turn back.

He didn't come after her. Maybe he felt bad. Maybe he knew he'd messed up. Or maybe he just didn't care as much as she thought he did. Maybe it was her fault for having such high expectations for a boy who wanted nothing more than to be cool.

Weiss found the statue that dominated Beacon's courtyard where two heroes of old stood triumphantly over the Grimm they'd just slain. A man with a sword. A woman with an axe. At least they didn't have to worry about silly, stupid, and immature games like the list.

Clenching her legs together tightly in her short skirt, Weiss stared at the hands which rested in her lap. She shouldn't feel bad. She knew she shouldn't. Yet she couldn't help it. Not even Neptune had found her the most desirable girl in school.

Was it the scar? The pale pink line that stretched from her forehead down to her cheek? Had the price of freedom been her once flawless beauty? Weiss felt her face growing hot with anger once more. If no one could see what her struggle had cost her, if they couldn't see past the scar which marred her beautiful face, then it was their loss! How dare they. How dare they judge her for fighting against her cruel and controlling father…

Her fists clenched atop her skirt. She was so angry she could cry. But not here. No. Not out in public. A Schnee did not show emotion in public like that. They bottled it up until they were alone. Until they could let it out in their own way.

She didn't know how long she'd sat there for consumed by her thoughts. All she knew was that she flinched when she heard the familiar voice speak out softly to her.

"Hey, Weiss."

Her attention snapped up to find Jaune standing before her. He wore a soft smile on his face. One that shined down on her like the warm rays of the sun.

"Jaune," she greeted back neutrally." Not out of anger or hostility. Jaune's actions at the dance had gone a long way to repair relations between them. Talking some sense into Neptune and sending him her way had absolutely made her night.

A lot of good that did in the long run, however.

"You okay?" he asked. "Mind if I, um, sit here?" he followed up.

"I'm fine," she answered. Turning to her left, she nodded. "And go ahead."

He took a seat next to her, putting a respectful distance between them. He wasn't trying to hit on her or sit close to her. At least there was that.

"You look… kinda down," he commented. That was an understatement. "Does it have anything to do with the clothes? Did something happen to your normal outfits?"

Weiss hummed a humorless laugh. Jaune noticed her new attire. For all the wrong reasons though. "Tell me, Jaune," she answered, answering his question with another question. "You carried quite a bright torch for me. What would you say is my most attractive feature?"

A look over to the boy showed his instant discomfort. Had she been too bold to ask him such a forward question? How would she have felt if he'd asked her the same? Would she respond with anger? Sarcasm? Insult?

To his credit, he did none of those things. "Well, there's honestly too many to choose from," he spoke softly. "Your voice. Eyes. Hair. Personality."

Weiss frowned. Two of those had been physical attributes. Two of them not. Two of them annoyingly relevant to a certain comment someone had made on the forum…

"Think if I shove my dick in Weiss' mouth she'd finally shut up?" she whispered the quote.

Jaune's reaction was immediate, and his blue eyes went wide. "What?"

"Tell me, Jaune. Do you know about the list?"

Much like Neptune, he looked embarrassed and guilty. She wasn't surprised. Probably every guy in the school had voted and commented on it. Jaune nodded.

"Yeah. It's pretty terrible, isn't it?"

"Yes. Yes it is," she agreed.

"It's dumb and immature," he continued, his own thoughts on the matter syncing up with hers. "My sisters, some of the older ones. They went through things like this back when they were teenagers in school. Some of the stuff really got to them. Guys, well, people in general can be really cruel. Especially teenagers. You can say a lot of stuff online when you know people will never find out it's you."

"A lot of honest feelings can come out," she mused.

"Yeah. Something like that. But you shouldn't care about them, because at the end of the day it's a bunch of stupid talk from a bunch of stupid teenagers."

"That's easy for you to say," she said bitterly. "It wasn't a list of the most attractive boys in school. You weren't voted last by your peers." She shook her head softly. "Only one person in the whole school thinks I'm beautiful."

"Well you are," he told her. "You're the most beautiful girl in school."

Weiss blinked again, and suddenly it clicked.

She has the voice of an angel.

Jaune had just complimented her voice. He's just called her the most beautiful girl in school. Could it be…

"It was you?" she asked, suddenly looking up and into his eyes. "You're the one who voted for me? Who stood up for me?"

Jaune nodded wordlessly.

"Why though? I thought you said it was stupid and immature. Why did you vote then?"

He couldn't meet her gaze any longer, and this time it was he who stared down at his lap. "Because someone needed to speak the truth," he said. "If no one denies a lie then people will just believe it. You're the most beautiful girl in school, Weiss. In looks and personality." His head came up, and those deep pools of blue stared into her pale orbs of ice. "And I believe that with all my heart."

He meant it. He meant every word he'd just said. Jaune, for all his faults, for all of their past baggage, still believed she was the most beautiful girl in school. Despite rejection. Despite scorn. Despite having one of the top voted girls in school as his partner, his eyes still admired her. Even if he'd given up any hope of ever having a shot with her.

At this point it couldn't be about her name. Or her wealth. Or her fame. Jaune had nothing to gain by voting for and defending her anonymously. He had nothing to gain by attempting to set her up with Neptune. No, he'd done it out of the kindness of his heart. Out of the genuine interest he had in her.

Weiss took a deep breath and stood up. "Alright, get up," she demanded. Reaching down she snatched Jaune's hand in her own. Despite the fact that it dwarfed hers, she was able to tug him up onto his feet with ease.

"What's going on?" he asked in a panic. "Are you mad?"

She pulled him after her as she began walking. "No I'm not mad!"

Weiss heard soft grunts of pain behind her. "Could have fooled me with how hard you're pulling."

Okay, maybe she was a little mad. However, her anger was not directed toward him. No, if anything the strength in which she pulled him was out of eagerness rather than any anger.

"I'm not mad!" she insisted a little too forcefully. "Just come with me."

"Where are we going?"

She turned back, and seeing how he was dressed in his usual casual wear, he was decent enough for a trip down to Vale. "We're going to see that movie you were bugging me about a couple of weeks ago. It's still in theaters, right?"

Panic. Confusion. Uncertainty. All were present on Jaune's face a his mouth opened and his eyes darted off to the side. "Um, uh…"

"Even if it's not we'll find a new one," she continued. "Unless you have a problem with this arrangement?"

His silence spoke volumes. No, of course he didn't. Weiss knew she was making his wildest dreams come true. This was all he'd ever wanted. A date with the girl he liked the most. A girl he'd liked ever since the beginning.

A girl who'd never given him a chance. Until now. After all, he'd earned it. Jaune Arc had always craved her attention. Now he would have an opportunity to show just what kind of a man he was. He would get a chance to show just what she meant to him. A real, honest chance to earn her attention and affection.

"Do you want to, um, change to something different?" he asked, nodding down to her short skirt and crop top.

Weiss smirked. "Hair and eyes are all well and good," she said, recounting the things Jaune said were attractive about her. "But you're about to find out that I'm legendary. All legs, no dairy."

Who needed to be top heavy like Yang when you had legs like this? When you had a stomach and hips which most girls could only dream of? And, unbeknownst to Jaune, a butt that was to die for?

Shaking her hair with the utmost confidence, Weiss stepped out in front of Jaune, walking long and purposeful strides with her gorgeous legs.

Weiss had been gone since breakfast. That was concerning. Yang had thought about texting her, but she figured her teammate had wanted to be alone. The list incident had hit harder than expected. She'd seen how Weiss had pulled Neptune out of the cafeteria. She'd hoped that she would have felt better after talking to him.

However, when she'd seen Neptune step back into the cafeteria alone, those hopes had been dashed.

It was the evening now, and there was still no word. With no classes on a Saturday Weiss hadn't missed anything of importance, but Yang felt that she should be there for her friend in her time of need. But then again if she just wanted some alone time that was understandable as well. Everyone dealt with their issues in their own ways.

When the door opened and Weiss finally returned back, it was like seeing a completely new girl. Still wearing her rather revealing clothes, Weiss practically danced into the team's dorm room with all the grace of a ballerina. Spinning around gracefully after shutting the door, the girl wore a bright smile on her face and hummed a happy and melodic tune as she set her scroll down on the desk.

Yang smiled in return. It was nice to see Weiss happy again. She just wondered what had happened to encourage such a change of heart.

"I'm beautiful, I'm beautiful~," the heiress sang softly. "He thinks I'm beautiful~"

The blonde's smile deepened into a grin. So someone had given her a little ego boost? That was good. Everyone needed a little shot in the arm from time to time.

"Who thinks you're beautiful?" she questioned. "Neptune?"

Weiss stopped, but the smile didn't fade from her lips. "No."

That was strange. "Who?"

Her teammate took a deep breath before exhaling dreamily. "As it turns out, the only one who matters," she answered cryptically.

Weiss glided over to the team's bathroom and shut the door behind her. Yang didn't know what exactly was going on, but whoever had earned Weiss' favor was a lucky guy.

And by the looks of it, had made Weiss feel like quite the lucky girl.

Author's Note: So this was written on a whim. I pitched the idea in Discord yesterday afternoon while I was at work. I started writing it late last night. I finished off the last 3,500 words or so this morning before I get to go back to work today. So... yeah. Totally unplanned and unscheduled. Also got to include some lines from that "Legs" Weiss Youtube video.

It's been a while since I've done any serious and heartfelt White Knight, and I figured this was worth a shot. With all the heroics and world saving, it's hard to remember at times that these characters are teenagers. Seventeen while at Beacon. I figured since these lists happen in real life, they could totally happen in RWBY too.

Anyway, hopefully you enjoyed this random little one shot. Thanks for reading.
