Hello everyone, Horror here with a quick…two- or three-chapter story. My cousin and I binge watched this a few days ago and for some reason or another, there's not a single story on this series. Mind you, it isn't the best out there, but it still deserves some praise for the amazing story it has to offer. For those who are confused, I am talking about Mairimashita! Iruma-kun, or Welcome to Demon School, Iruma-kun. Again, it's not the best series out there, but the story is amazing in of itself. I advise you watch it if you haven't already seen it.

This is a simple bit between two of the main characters, Iruma and Clara, because they're, in my opinion, closer to each other than the rest of the characters are, even Asmodeus. That out of the way, please enjoy this first chapter of this short story.

Iruma, Clara and Asmodeus walked down the hall of the school as the bell's screams echoed throughout the halls and students got ready to return home and enjoy the weekend ahead of them. Asmodeus and Iruma talked to one another as Clara began lagging behind, coughing as her cheeks turned a pale shade of red. The two stopped and looked back and Iruma frowned, "Hey Clara, are you okay? You look…well no offense, you look awful,"

"No, I'm fine, Iruma-kins," Clara looked up and smiled as she shook her head, "You don't need to worry abou-" before she could finish, the green-haired demon fell forward and fell unconscious.

"Clara!" Iruma ran over to her and carefully picked her up, "Clara? Clara?"

"What should we do, Master Iruma sir?" Asmodeus questioned, stepping closer, "And why would she just faint like that?" Iruma ignored him as he placed a hand on Clara's forehead and he narrowed his eyes, "Iruma sir?"

"Azz, I want you to go home, I'll take Clara to the infirmary before walking her home,"

"But sir-"

"Just go, Azz, I can handle it from here," Asmodeus sighed and nodded before he turned and walked away. Seeing Asmodeus turn the corner, Iruma took a deep breath before picking up the unconscious demon bridal style and smiled down at her, "Let's get you to the infirmary and then I'll walk home with you just to make sure-"

"Can't go home," Clara moaned and Iruma arched a brow in confusion, "Mommy took my brothers and sisters out for the weekend…won't be home until Monday," Iruma frowned as Clara fell limp in his arms.

"Iruma," he looked back and saw his adopted grandfather approaching him, "School's finish, my dear grandson, so what say we head home an-"

"Grandpa," Iruma turned and faced the old demon and Sullivan saw Clara in his arms, "Clara's not feeling well, and her family is out for the weekend. I wouldn't feel right taking her to her house and just leaving her there when she's like this with no one there looking after her…so…would it be all right if she stayed with us for the weekend? Just so I know there's someone caring for her?"

"Iruma," Sullivan took a deep breath as he crossed his arms and shook his head, "You know if she learns what you are, you can be in danger an-"

"I know, grandpa, and…and I don't care," Iruma looked down at Clara and frowned, "Clara's one of my best friends, and probably one of the nicest demons I know. If she learns that I'm human and wants to devour me, that's fine, but I'm not going to leave her alone like this."

"Very well," Sullivan let out a sigh of defeat and Iruma looked up in confusion, "If you want to try and help your friend, I won't stop you, but I will stop her if she tries to devour my precious grandson,"

"She won't do that, grandpa, Clara isn't like that…but thanks," Iruma turned and he and Sullivan walked out of the school with Clara still in Iruma's arms.

The two made it back to the mansion and Iruma carried the still unconscious Clara to his room. Entering the room, he walked over to the bed and gently set Clara down before pulling the sheets over her. Frowning, Iruma sat down on the edge of the bed and stroked Clara's hair, "I didn't know demons could get sick,"

"Oh yes, demons, like humans, do get sick," Iruma looked back to see the butler, Opera, entering the room, "While it is rare for demons to fall ill, it still is possible, but I must say, you're willing to put your life in danger for your friend just because she isn't feeling well and her family is away," Iruma hummed and nodded before looking down at his female best friend, "Your foolishness can very well get you killed if you don't think every situation though thoroughly,"

"I don't care, Opera," Iruma frowned and shook his head, "I wasn't going to leave her alone while she's like this. Her family went out for the weekend and I don't want leave her like this. Grandpa already said it was okay for her to stay for the weekend."

He continued to stroke Clara's hair as Opera took a deep breath and turned, "Very well, as long as you know the dangers of having another demon in the mansion. I just hope for your sake that your friend understands and will refuse to go after you if she learns your secret," Iruma slowly nodded as Opera walked out of the room and quietly closed the door behind him.

Iruma sighed as he took his shoes off and laid down next to Clara. Looking at her, he took a deep breath as he wrapped an arm around her and held her close, "Demons get sick? Learn something new every day…but…why didn't you tell us you weren't feeling well? Why didn't you stay home if that were the case…are Azz and I bad friends for not noticing soon-" before he could finish, he felt Clara's arms wrap around him and she pulled him closer to her.

Iruma looked at her with wide eyes as Clara nuzzled up against him, "Teddy…help me whoo…Iruma-kins…don't let Lady Redhair take him away from me,"

"Wait…what?" he looked down and heard Clara lightly snoring before he inhaled slowly and patted the top of her head and smiled, "It's probably just the fever talking. I'll let her rest for now," he yawned before he closed his eyes and held Clara close as he fell asleep himself.

Sullivan watched a the two slept from the door. Humming to himself, the chair-demon rubbing his chin, "Iruma is certain that his little friend won't go after him is she learns he's actually human, and from the way she acts, she doesn't seem like one to care about little things like that, but still, looks can be deceiving and I won't hesitate to defend my grandson an-"

"Chair-demon," he looked to see Opera approaching him, "Perhaps it'll be best if you let them rest for now. Iruma's friend seems to be genuinely unwell and he genuinely seems concerned about her health, so perhaps, just for today, you let him and his friend rest,"

"Yes, I suppose you're right, Opera," Sullivan sighed before he and Opera turned and walked away from the room as the two teens slept soundly in each other's arms.

Well, like I said, I haven't seen any stories for this series and while it isn't the best series out there, it still deserves some praise for amazing story it offers, so please enjoy the first chapter.
