A/N: This chapter is a re edition of the original. Diana and Karen starr are the pairings for naruto, but the main is Diana. Read with an open mind and your imagination. Naruto will be pretty ooc, so take note. But he will be powerful and there will be legitimate reasons behind his being ooc. So once again read with an open mind, as I will make this chapter shorter than the original, but still explanatory enough.

If there are any holes in it, then as the story goes on, they would be filled. I will also re edit chapter 2, and chapter 3 will soon be out. Thanks for the reviews and follows and do check out my other stories.

Disclaimer: I don't own Naruto or young justice.

Chapter 1: An old but long journey

Naruto uzumaki had been through quite a lot, he had lost all his loved ones through war, sacrifice. His most recent and unprecedented precious person, Kaguya Otsutsuki, the woman that he should have hated, that he shouldn't even have considered in his life, had died and from a curse no less.

Sometimes the most powerful people, tend to die from the strangest of things and in the strangest of ways. Kaguya was no exception, his parents were no exception, kurama was no exception, the tailed beasts were no exception.

He was no exception, although in his case, he didn't die, but was rather transported 50 Years into the future. It was crazy discovering the possibility of time travel, but with how the ninja world had a lot of secrets, he shouldn't have been surprised.

Not too long after discovering his Love for Hinata, a girl that had loved him for so long, he was unable to explore it. The prediction Sasuke had made, proved correct. There were more Otsutsuki's, and boy were they powerful.

His first encounter was with Toneri Otsutsuki, a being that lived on the moon anubbbbb bd had an obsession with Hinata and destroying the Shinobi of earth. He wasn't so hard to defeat, as all it took was one punch from him, but the eyeless bastard was persistent, and that was what began his journey of ascension to what he was today.

Being transported through space and time should have killed him, or at the very least drained him of all his powers completely, but somehow he survived. That bastard Toneri, had activated some kind of self destruct jutsu, as he was willing to blow himself, them and the moon into oblivion and in the process, the earth.

Due to his heroic nature, he couldn't allow that, so he tried absorbing the explosion with Kurama's help even though he mentioned that they mist likely wouldn't survive. He didn't even hesitate at the thought and it seemed that was enough for his nine tailed friend, and together, they took the explosion head on.

That wasn't such a good plan, considering the fact that he was transported 50 years into the future, with no kurama and was crippled, with the left half of his body destroyed. Yeah, it wasn't such a good idea, but at least he was alive and he had saved his friends, most importantly, he saved the woman he loved.

Yeah even that was a waste. Why?

Well in the 50 years that had passed, the world had been taken over by two powerful beings, with most of humanity destroyed and the Shinobi system in disarray.

Who were these beings?

Well it was none other than the Otsutsuki's, their names Kinshiki and Momoshiki. It was pretty depressing to know that all his efforts were in vain and that just two of those bastards could take over the entire world. Fine 50 years was a lot of time, but still, it shouldn't have been that easy. What about the Kages, were they not strong enough, what about his friends, what about the tailed beasts, what about Sasuke?

Those were the thoughts that plagued him at the time, and if not for his "caretaker", he would have fallen into depression.

Who was his caretaker?

They were none other than Orochimaru. He had wondered how the man, if he could call him that, survived the siege by the Otsutsuki bastards. Well, it seemed that the snake man had hidden bases deep underground, and had even built more of them, as he too had also predicted the possibility of the elemental nations being attacked and possibly destroyed.

The then snake sage was truly a sneaky bastard, as he shouldn't have expected anything less from the paranoid and creepy looking but intelligent man.

So far, the man was able to rebuild his body with his scientific experiments, in other words, it was a pseudo synthetic body made out of Hashirama's cells, natural energy, and surprisingly Uchiha DNA.

The operation was successful, and the new side of his body was able to blend with his skin tone, though it was paler than his normal skin. With this new body and the possibilities that came with it, Naruto had trained with it tirelessly, hoping and believing that this new body of his, would produce what he needed to defeat the Otsutsuki's.

Discovering that most if humanity had benn destroyed, with only a few that served as a resistance if sorts, was well, depressing, infuriating, and as many negative emotions one could feel in such a situation. But it also served as a drive, a drive to avenge them all, to avenge his village, the kages, the shinobi, the civilians, his friends, the woman he loved, and his brother in all but blood.

It was a hard pill to swallow, discovering that Sasuke was dead. Naruto didn't believe that his friend and brother could be killed by anyone, as with his absence, Sauke was the most powerful in the elemental nations and could pretty much destroy the world quite easily. So to hear that he died, it made him wary and somewhat afraid, but he had squashed the thought and made sure he used it as a drive to get stronger. Because if Sauske was defeated with almost the entire the elemental nations and even the tailed beasts, the latter who were no where to be found and were most likely absoe since the Otsutsuki's had the Rinnegan, then he wouldn't stand a chance.

His travel through time made him lose Kurama, crippled him and had drained most of his chakra, which included tailed beast chakra and even some of his six paths, leaving him with very little. Orochimaru had even stated that he was lucky to have survived even with chakra at all, not to talk of a bit of his six paths chakra. But with his new body and the little six paths chakra left, he worked hard so he could gain the strength needed to defeat the aliens and save the rest of humanity.

Yeah that was easier said than done, but in the end, it worked out. He gained the power necessary to ensure humanity was saved but it came at a cost. The very enemies they hid from had discovered them and while that wasn't much of a problem, it made things complicated as he wasn't ready to go through with his plans at the time

He had to improvise and while challenging, it was necessary. He wasn't known as the no 1 most unpredictable knucklehead ninja for nothing. Though he was no longer a knucklehead, but he was still unpredictable.

If any of his friends heard the plan he had in mind, they would most likely label him as foolish and stupid. In fact Sakura may just punch his lights out and he didn't even want to think of what Tsunade would do. But they were dead, most of humanity were gone and If he wanted to save the rest, he had to improvise, because despite his upgrade in power, he wasn't arrogant to believe that he could defeat both Otsutsuki's alone. Perhaps one, but two, heck no, and he was smart enough to admit that as he couldn't afford to be reckless.

With his new body, and great hard work, he was able to awaken the Rinnegan and not just anyone, it was six paths Rinnegan. He had figured it was possible to awaken it since the body Orochimaru attached to his was as a result of the successful merging of Senju and Uchiha DNA, precisely Hashirama's and Sasuke's DNA and by proxy Ashura and Indra.

He was surprised that Sasuke would give his DNA for Orochimaru to experiment with, but his friend surprised him even further. He was told that Sasuke had anticipated his survival as with his Rinnegan, he had detected Naruto's life signature however it was extremely faint and was inaccessible. So Sasuke had theorized that Naruto may have been trapped in the vacuum of space and time, and would likely return at some point in time, probably in the past or future.

So his friend had planned that if he failed to defeat the Otsutsuki"s, he would prepare the way for Naruto to do so by giving his DNA to Orochimaru to experiment on so he could awaken the Rinnegan when he was released from his prison within space and time.

He had to give it to Sasuke through, because the plan worked in his favor as not only did he awaken it, but he had even gotten stronger with his six paths power and had reacquired some of the tailed beasts chakra. So yeah he became more powerful than ever, and he was motivated to stop the Otsutsuki's.

However, he couldn't do it alone and with the combination of Indra and Ashura's powers within him, he could release the very being that could help him. It was Kaguya Otsutsuki'l, the mother of chakra and the very goddess that tried taking over the world.

He only hoped that his plan wouldn't back fire.

Naruto was right in his assessment, because not only did the two Otsutsuki's prove formidable and powerful, but that Kaguya was enough to destroy them.

She didn't defeat them, no, she destroyed them and single handedly.

He was amazed, and also fearful. He knew Kaguya was powerful, but watching her fight, truly fight, was terrifying. But at least she had saved the world and the rest of mankind, so that counted for something. He only hoped that she wouldn't go rogue again, because he was very positive that even with his upgrade in power, he wouldn't stand a Chance.

She was a goddess, and he was a mortal. While mortals killing gods was possible, in his case at the time, he would be destroyed, and mankind would be annihilated. But fortunately for him, things turned out better than he thought, at least for that time.

Naruto Uzumaki was a very odd guy. Not only did he become a person of adoration that the very people despised, he was able to befriend the being behind his then misery, gained power beyond his dreams or anyone for that matter, but also traveled through time and only to become a savior again with more power and a goddess as a lover.

Yeah he was pretty odd. Sometimes he was fortunate, while other times, not so much. But when he was fortunate, it would be on a grand scale, but at the time it was something that was just personally mind blowing, as no one knew except him and his companion, turned lover.

Yeah lover, as even he was surprised, but welcomed it nonetheless. Besides he would be a good not to accept her love only to lose it due to fear or hesitation, or in Hinata's case, sheer obliviousness. What was even more surprising was the fact that it was kaguya who confessed her love to him in the most expressive way possible. She made love to him one night, and she really rocked his world.

Night after night, sometimes even several times a day, they made love and though he was inexperienced, he quickly caught on and gave her as much pleasure and expressed as much of his love to her as he could. He didn't expect kaguya to be very passionate, but as they say, it's always the quiet ones, truly he had to agree.

But as usual fate just had to take whatever good he had away from him. His lover who he would never have expected to lose to something like death due to her goddess status, was dying and there was nothing he could do about it. According to her it seemed being sealed away twice by a very powerful technique and being stripped of the juubi's life force twice as well, affected her severely.

Her life force had diminished greatly and after her battle with the other otsutsuki's, it dropped even further as it took it's toll on her. What made him angrier at the time was the fact that she knew she would die and didn't tell him. Perhaps if he knew he wouldn't have invested so much into their relationship only to lose her again.

Nah, who was he kidding, he would still have loved her the same and probably even express it to her much earlier than he did. He would have wanted her days to be filled with happiness, with joy with companionship, with love. But eventually he accepted her death and promised to live on for her. It would be hard, very hard but Naruto uzumaki wasn't a man to give up easily or to be held down by negativity, he would make it through.

If not for himself, then for the woman he loved, the woman he made a promise to on her death bed, the woman who had changed his life forever.

Yeah it took quite a while for him to settle his emotions after her death, but he managed it. He still felt the loss, the pain, the loneliness, but Naruto was persistent and tenacious. He still had mankind to protect and wallowing in self pity wasn't the way to go about it.

He didn't think he could get anymore powerful than he was, but what he became after her death disproved that thought. Before she died, she had offered to transfer her powers to him, stating that he would need it to defeat the others, the other otsutsuki's. It was really annoying to discover that there were others out there and more angry when she said that they would come for this world to conquer it, his world.

The otsutsuki's were natural world conquerors, they lived to conquer, to take and take and take until there was nothing left. The fact there were other divine trees across the universe and that it's power was being harnessed by them was even more disturbing. So in other words, they were leeches, beings that sucked the life force of worlds in order to empower themselves to suck out even more from other worlds.

It was disgusting.

Nonetheless after some hesitance on his part, he accepted her power because as powerful as he was, he was no match for an entire race of their kind. He would die and mankind would perish, and worse, the universe would be conquered. So after accepting her power, he was somewhat surprised that he adapted to it, but man do it transform, quite literally.

Whenever he looked at his reflection he saw himself look completely different. He looked just like an Otsutsuki with the only difference being lack of horns or pale while eyes as well as his whisker marks, though unlike before they blended much better.

It was his power upgrade that really shocked him, if he thought he was powerful before, well at the time he was much more powerful. So he did the next best thing with it, he went after the enemy, hunted them down and annihilated them. He supposed a part of kaguya's personality had been absorbed by him, as what he had contemplated doing was something he would never think of before.

Genocide, yes the new version of Naruto Uzumaki wanted to completely annihilate all the Otsutsuki's, leaving nothing left of them or the divine trees. That was exactly what he did, he killed all of them, sometimes one on one and a few times in groups, but he killed them all, eradicating them from existence. Fortunately there were no children involved, because as horrific as it was, Naruto knew that he would also kill them if there was need. Truly he had changed, but who would blame him, no one who knew him personally was still alive anymore and the people of the world he only dealt with at arms length.

The otsutsuki's were strong by human standards, probably god like, but for him at his level they were weak, very much so. He had tore through them that over time he began to have little regard for life, but stopped himself from going down that road, it would do him no good if he lost his empathy for human life. Fine they weren't humans, but he didn't want to be at ease with killing them as who knows, he may become the very thing he was against, an emotionless, arrogant bastard or god.

Thankfully his connection to nature helped in that regard as it not only refreshed his immortality, but it kept his empathy in check, something he was grateful for. He may be alone, but he didn't want to fall into the pit of darkness, loneliness was a bitch with that if one wasn't careful it would turn you into the darkest version of oneself. The power only added to that, as the more the power the darker one becomes, his dead friend Sasuke being an example. His soul rest in peace.

Eventually all the Otsutsuki's were dead, but one in particular did give him a great challenge. He would classify him as the boss because his powers equaled if not surpassed that of kaguya's. But thankfully so did his.

Jigen otsutsuki was a powerful being, the prick had absorbed the power of several divine trees and still even wanted to absorb more. The being was cruel, the highest level of greedy, selfish and to cap it all off felt absolutely no sympathy or love. He had no positive about him, absolutely nothing and that motivated Naruto to kill him. He had to say that it was easier said than done, but he managed it. Never was he more thankful as he was at the time that kaguya had given him some of her powers.

It was obvious that she knew of his existence because the prick had yapped about how he and kaguya were paired with each other. Hearing that made his blood boil and he felt absolutely no sympathy or guilt for killing him. No he didn't just kill him, he obliterated him down to his very soul, erasing him from existence. It would be too troublesome if the prick was like Orochimaru and found a way to return to life, especially with revenge in mind.

So Naruto uzumaki had spent the next several thousands of years roaming the universe, destroying divine tree after divine tree, watching over all races that existed, but leaving them to govern themselves. He wouldn't make the mistake the Sage made by wanting the world to embrace his thoughts of peace and ninshu.

Eventually it because to boring just traveling around, but luckily he discovered a solution and hoped it would be worth it.

Traveling to another universe was a possibility and with his power, he believed he could pull it off. With his deep connection to cosmic energy, he could feel the existence of other dimensions, other worlds and universes. Perhaps traveling to one of the latter would be interesting as this one no longer needed him.

So Naruto uzumaki left his universe, having transformed from a lod, brash young man into a being of great power that change couldn't help but follow closely behind. Perhaps in the new universe things might be more interesting.

A/N: So yeah, this is the re edit and while shorter, it's more satisfactory for me. It doesn't reveal to much, but also gives a reasonable summary as any prologue should. I will also re edit chapter two, and chapter three will be posted before months end. As Naruto is now, he is tired and bored so anything that proves interesting enough for him, he will take it at least at face value. His decision to work with anyone in this story will only be because it works in his favor, so don't think I am debasing him as a powerful being. By the time this story gets to chapter 7 or 8 you will see my point.
